Hi,
I had an appointment at Dental works at polaris today at 10:15 am. I had waited till 11:45 and told the receptionist it is frustrating to wait this long. As I had asked for one hour permission at work.
There was this gentleman who raised his voice to not to take it up with the receptionist. And he threw a chair at me.
The receptionist advised me to stay in the car else I will be notified to the authorities. I obliged and came out. This is not fair because I have a brown skin and not too have any emotions. I do have the picture of the person. I am a citizen too and in my oath I said I will fight for this country in any circumstances.
There is a lot of people there as a witness and everyone was consoling me to be safe against that guy. The office people also supported him. Instead of throw him out, they threw me out. I did finally met the doctor and conveyed what happened, he advised me that he himself a foreigner and be quiet and be safe.
I feel now how others felt. Not sure how to feel.

I visited Pine Creek Dental in Magnolia Texas in October 2020. It was my first visit and I had a routine exam, cleaning, and bite wing X-rays. They are a Dental Works affiliated office. They confirmed with me before the appointment that they accepted my dental insurance. The first bill I received from them, shortly after the appointment, was for $0. Then I...

I have been doing business with dental works for years and have spent probably close to 20k ..my dentist retires and the office gets new people now out of the blue I get a bill for 119.90 from 2019 that's 2 years old...I will never use their services again. Terrible customer service and no excuse for a bill coming to me two years after I paid the balance in full
Desired outcome: Stick the bill
Extraction
I brought my 90 year old father for 7 upper extraction. I was told and confirmed in writing of the cost of extractions and new complete dentures. When I arrived I was given a bunch of papers to fill out. I did not realized that they added a consultation fee of 90 dollars and 25 for mouthwash. We never had any consultation and I have mouthwash at home. I agreed to pay 1459 for extraction but they insisted I pay 1574. I think this is wrong. I was also quoted a total price for new dentures and the total quote is 4309. I agreed to this cost even though I got a quote of 2500 from Dr Nassif and associates in Lyndhurst. I now wonder how much are they going to add to my total cost? My father is 90 years old and has no insurance.
Invisalign
I went in to get Invisalign's and gave a 1, 600 deposit when the pandemic hit I didn't receive services. I been trying to get a refund for a year. I had to go somewhere else for service because I needed it. When I did reach someone they stated I was not getting my full refund . They charged me for c rays and an exam even though they didn't follow up with the Invisalign.
The customer service is horrible and they don't return phone calls.
Desired outcome: Full refund
Dental service and fraudulent billing
Please note this letter to Laura at Saddlebrook Dental. She never took care of this even though she told me I had a zero balance. Zero my balance and fix this or you will be coming to texas to answer a federal lawsuit. I will never pay you a dime and if this ends up on my credit I will tripple the amount of my suit.

NOTICE OF DISPUTE PER TITLE 15 § 1692 (Fair Debt Collection Act) and
Further NOTICE OF STANDING TO SUE, FOR FRAUDULENT BILLING,
DOUBLE BILLING, AND INSURANCE FRAUD.
Dear Saddle Brook, Dr. Patel & Dental Works:
This is my formal dispute per Federal Law above, freezing this attached account for 30 days. Per the above, I now require copies of all billings to my insurance company, and all payments made by me and my insurance company to you. This is not negotiable either, it is a formal demand per law. The dispute is over the attached $1133.00 statement from Dental Works to which I have no idea about; and by Federal Law is now on legal hold.
If you fail to comply, I will file immediately suit in Federal Court under the Fair Debt Collection Act, Whistle Blower Act for possible fraud, deceptive trade, mail fraud, which by the way if there is more than one act proven, will be a predicate to a Federal Rico Suit. I will also file complaints with the Texas Insurance Board for possible wrongful billing, fail to provide full disclosure, and to the Dental Board for these serious actions and non actions.
Please immediately take care of this because in my opinion these surprise sticker shock billings are purposely held for fraudulent purposes to double bill. I refuse to pay them until I am satisfied they are totally legitimate and you must provide written proof or I will sue and subpoena them.
Laura, you as office manger for Saddle Brook you assured me this bill was taken care of many months ago. Well it is not and now you have (10) ten days to produce the above instruments and invoices along with all copies of payments made by me and my insurance company to you, or I will file a $500, 000.00 Law Suit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Sincerely,
Dale T. Morse
You people are running the biggest fraud ever. You bill people for [censored] you didn't do. Then you place it in the mail. Do you realise this is a Federal Criminal Offense? it is a violation of Title 18 United States Code section 1341 (Mail Fraud) and each fraudulent bill mailes=d is a separate count.
You have fraudulently billed me for several months when I owe you jerks nothing. Fix it and send me a zero balance invoice or we are going to court in TEXAS!
I too am getting bills for my husband's procedure that was paid in full, out of pocket. I have contacted the office in Bridgewater, PA and they assured me that it was not due, but I continue to receive bills for it! There is no way to contact the billing department to get it taken care of yourself, so you are subject to this company's inept billing system.
This company hid behind the name of a dental office I went to in another state. Just found out they are actually 'Dental Works" and not Firestone Dental Care of Cincinnati,Ohio. They were supposed to pay a refund to my insurance company so a claim could be reprocessed and instead of complying they billed me for the refund they owed my insurance company! I refused to pay their debt and the office, Dental Works turned me over to collections! But yet their incompetent office where I originally went is still billing me! This company is a scam, a fraud and should be investigated!
I want know how people are handling this I had a bill o never about and just spent a year researching and discovering they owe me . Dental works Chicago loop offices treated like a bum and I had been going there over 14 yrs regularly. Office manager Francis ignored me- I just finished reconciliation reconstructed all the appointments EOBs - if there are many out there we should file a class action lawsuit. They actually owe me money

Hello, I went to Dental Works Royal Oak, Michigan, and got two crowns on my upper molars. Apparently they did the measurement of the crowns crowns, because they were too big and didn't fit. Read full review of Dental Workspoor service and billing issues
In July 2017 I got two crowns on my teeth. Dentalworks continued to submit the claim to my insurance without the xrays and because of this, they missed the claim period. They have been billing me ever since even though both my insurance and their dental office agree I'm not responsible for this bill. No matter who I've called or how I've tried to sort it, I'm still getting the bill 2 years later.
On top of this, I've had 2 procedures done at dentalworks that have been HORRIBLE (two different offices.
1. I went to get a root canal in a rear molar and the dentist decided halfway through the procedure that he wasn't going to do the root canal after all. The crown he placed in my mouth did not fit in any way. I had to return twice to get it filed down which ended up causing a crack in the crown and caused a massive tooth infection that resulted in me getting the root canal anyhow 2 years later.
2. I apparently didn't learn my lesson and decided to get two front veneers to straighten my teeth and improve the appearance of my smile (this is at a different dental works). The doctor was extremely rude during each appointment and the final crowns he placed in my mouth are about two shades more yellow than my natural teeth. He also did not warn me about how painful and long the whole process was. And now I'm stuck with two front crowns that don't even match my teeth.
Advice: avoid dental works at all costs. Find a local dentist for your check ups and only go to a cosmetic dentist for veneers.

This is at the Robinson location in Pennsylvania
The company recently contacted me about the billing issue and officially zeroed out my account for the charges that were not responsibility. The new office manager of the Robinson location (Gina) and the corporate complaints lady (Teresa) were both very friendly, helpful, and apologetic.
2 crowns
The procedure was unnecessarily done there was no reason for the crowns but the doctor did it anyways now I'm stuck with the over a $700 dollar bill because insurance said from the xrays and what the doctor said they can't see why I needed crowns it was unnecessary procedure I was left in horrible pain and the doctors didn't seem to care I seen the second...
Read full review of Dental Worksroutine cleaning
My daughter moved to a different state but was on my insurance. Before she went to DentalWorks I called them to verify that they took my insurance and explained that because of her age she was going to age out and we wanted her to get a routine cleaning before that happened. DentalWorks said they would contact my insurance and verify her coverage. They came back and said everything was fine (I still have a copy of the paperwork they(DentalWorks) said they worked off of to okay the routine cleaning). My daughter got her cleaning and the insurance denied the claim because she was too old. DentalWorks did not contact me, I contacted them and explained what happened and they said the insurance company approved the service by phone. When I got our business office to get a hold of the insurance company they said it clearly was not approved prior to service (no where on the paperwork given to my by DentalWorks does it say the service was approved). I contacted DentalWorks to try to see if I could pay for what a cleaning would have cost, this was not my error and the reason why I asked before my daughter went. DentalWorks refused to work with me even though I am the one who pursued the matter in the first place regarding the denial of the claim by my insurance. DentalWorks hadn't billed me all that time. I will never use DentalWorks for anything and I am still waiting for them to work with me on a reasonable price for what should have been a routine cleaning.
Good afternoon,
I am doing a followup to my complaint regarding a routine cleaning for my daughter. Since I got a hold of this site I was able to get a response from the office my daughter attended. They worked with me on the total cost and the gentlemen I worked with this time (Steve) was very pleasant and understanding. I really appreciated that he saw that I was in the middle of this situation with a she said/they said fight between the dental office and my insurance company. I really appreciate that we finally came to an agreement.

RE: DentalWorks Great Lakes

I scheduled an appointment for cleaning using the online website and found an available appt that was about 1 month out. The appointment was scheduled for 12 noon 5/22/19 since I was a new patient. I received a call the day before 5/21/19 from the office to confirm which I did. I arrived 12:09pm, late due to difficulty finding the location. At 12:40 the recepetionist came out and told me there was no hygienist to clean my teeth but I could be seen by the the Dentist to get work done! After inquiry she explained that the hygienist had called off this morning and that they only had 1 (!) hygienist because someone quit. I asked why she didn't notify me of this in the morning so I could have worked (as I had taken off of work for this appt as normal people do!). I am a medical provider who barely gets time off and this was very dissapointing and inconceivably rude to say the least. It felt as if I was being vetted for money! I demand some explanation. Note, I was the only one in the office waiting. There was an elderly man who was finishing up prior to me and suffice to say was only be talked to about how many procedures he could get done. I had to wait for this to be done before she even acknowledged me! Lastly, the online information is incorrect as it states it is in Mentor OH when infact it is in Willoughby and the picture of the office is not the office I sat in. Also all the reviews, EVEN the poor ones, are high ratings?. As I informed the receptionist, in my 53 years I have never been treated with such disrespect. I would say you atleast should offer me credit of some sort and to pay for my cleaning but be assured I will be checking credentials.
