dynamic age defying serum
Ordered the Dynamic Age Defying Serum 7-13-19. The serum made my face break out in red blotches the first time I used it, so obviously I didn't use it again, and the blotches cleared up. It was only then, when I tried to return the 2 bottles, did I realize the "100% guarantee" did not mean a refund, as it usually does, but that you could exchange the product for something else. Plus, there is an $8 shipping fee and a restocking fee for each bottle. Well, I wasn't willing to try another product from them. So, I guess I'm stuck. This experience made me look online to see what kind of reviews the company had. The top articles that listed this product as their "#1 choice " were from a place called "Beauty Health Times" and "Review Better". Guess who owns Beauty Health Times? Dermagist. They ranked their own product #1. No surprise. The other reviewer also had a connection to the company. Their return policy, their products, and these questionable review tactics all have really put me off this company and I hope this helps others who might be thinking of ordering from them.
complete rejuvenation system
I purchased this system twice - in March and June 2015. Canadian women beware. Dermagist promises to refund to Canadian customers the duties paid to Canada Border Services Agency for the products. My customs duties totalled Can$74.37. I contacted Dermagist three times - by letter and by email - providing all necessary documentation of my purchase and requesting my refund. It is now 2017 and I have not heard back from Dermagist. It seems safe to conclude the company has no intention of honoring its promise to Canadian purchasers. With regard to the product, it made no detectable improvement to my wrinkles after approx. six months of use. Good luck if you still want to spend the money trying this product. You will need lots of time, however, to chase after Dermagist to get your money back for the duties. They will calmly ignore you. I have given up and am resolved only to buy the best available skin products on the shelves of Canadian stores. They may seem expensive, but invariably, they will cost you less than importing them.
detoxifying cleanser and clarifying cream for acne prone skin
Dermagist is a company you can only purchase from online. I tried their Detoxifying cleanser and Clarifying cream for acne prone skin. I wanted to try these products because I have had terrible acne and nothing I try seems to work. I thought I would try Dermagist because it was a product without benzoyl peroxide or salylic acid. It seemed like a safe product to try because the selling point was that this product is organic, vegan, uses no harsh chemicals, etc. but when I tried it the first time, I noticed that the clarifying cream was very heavy and didn't feel right on my skin. It smelled and felt like I just rubbed clay or play-dough on my skin. The next day I noticed my skin broke out into very tiny bumps everywhere. My skin felt rough like sandpaper. I discontinued use immediately, looked at their website again to try to return the product and, unfortunately, I had not noticed until then that their return policy only allows you to get store credit to purchase another product from them, not a money back policy. There is no point in returning their products because you will not get your money back. DO NOT BUY FROM DERMAGIST.

eye gel
I used the product only one time and woke up with swollen eyes, as a result of an allergic reaction. The product does not work! I should have listen to the others reviewers when they posted warnings not to puchase the product, stating that it's a scam. They are charging a 100.00 for this little bottle of gel that does absolutely nothing but harm. You will not get your money back, only store credit. On their web site it says 100% customer satisfaction guarantee, this means nothing when they don't offer a refund. This is not an established company, they are not even open on weekends for customer support. Buyer beware, you will only be throwing your hard earned money away. They have 12 complaints filed against them with the BBB I'm very sorry I didn't check this out before making the purchase. Ok you've been warned!
Revolution eye gel
The product made my eyes itchy and watery. I returned it after a couple of trys. I packaged almost the full bottle in original packaging filled out the
RMA, paid for shipping and requested a refund. If allergic they ask for name of MD which I also provided. I never heard from them. When I inquired I was told a store credit had been issued. I was never told this, I was never emailed that my package had been received or told I had a credit in any amount. This is VERY deceptive of them. I called there and was told it was a family run business and its their company policy not to issue a refund. The store is 1500 miles from me. Its not like I can go in and test anything. The only way I can be reimbursed is to buy yet another product that may or may not work out. Order No 4203 RMA [protected]
Buyer Beware - Guarantee Is Bogus...You Only Get Store Credit
Thinking of buying this product...don't! Instead look for a product that offers a full money back guarantee, it's usually a sign that the products will actually work! I wish I had read the guarantee more closely, but I'm hoping to save someone else the headache. This company will only give you a store credit which is a problem if the product does not work for you or as in my case creates a bad reaction on your skin. I tried the Complete Rejuvenation System and was disappointed to find the products were loaded with alcohol which only dry out the skin. They were so thick and waxy on the skin that it made it nearly impossible to apply my mineral makeup over the treatment. When I contacted the company about getting a refund, the girl on the phone was so rude and just kept saying our policy states that you can only get a store credit and it's your own stupid fault you didn't read carefully! Wow! I guess they got me...don't let them get you too!
I purchased this product 2 weeks ago first time I applied it it smelled like lemon pledge furniture polish. Did absolutely nothing. I purchased because of their 100% return guarantee. You have to dig into the website for them to tell you will only receive a store credit . Not good business. Wish I would have seen this review board before purchasing. BAD BAD BAD
Company promises a full refund if not satisfied if returned within 30 days. I returned item with the time frame with all the paperwork only to find out that the refund will take up to 60 days. It has now been 80 days and with repeated phone calls they still have not refunded my $106.00. I paid with Paypal which of course makes it too late to file a complaint with Paypal.
Dermagist is supposed to give a 30 money back guarantee if not satisfied with the product. I returned the product within the thirty days with all the paperwork necessary. They state that it can take up to 60 days to refund the money. I paid with Paypal. It has been over 80 days since they have received the product back and with repeated phone calls to them and they have yet to refund my $106.00.

Lack of customer support
I received 2 bottles of this product of which neither one would pump and the bottles were not even 1/2 full. I e-mailed the company several times with no response. I called the company and had to dial another number for assistance. I finally did a live chat and I was told they have not experienced this problem with anyone else then they hung up on me without any assistance. I guess because no one else had a problem that nullified my problem. I again emailed them and told them they needed to change their website since there was no customer service and remove the 100% satisfaction guarantee. Hope no one else gets taken like this. I spent $139 for this product. Extremely dissatisfied and will not recommend this to anyone I know.
Service/Refund
I was trying to return a product that didn't work and actually made me skin condition worse. When I ordered the product, I was told that it would be very easy to return it as long as I contacted the company within 30 days of ordering it and I would only be responsible for the shipping fee.
When I contacted the company, the customer service agent, Ruthann, bullied me until I cried, lied to me on the phone, and repeatedly laughed at me while I was crying. When I disclosed that I had Epilepsy and the stress she was inducing was putting me at risk for a seizure, she laughed again. I asked to speak with her supervisor and she refused to transfer me to a supervisor claiming that she didn't have one. When I requested to speak to another manager, she told me that she was "the top person". I asked her if that meant she was the owner and she said she was and didn't have to transfer me to anyone. I told her that I it had never been disclosed to me at time of purchase that there was a re-stocking fee and she told me that she would waive the re-stocking fee for the product I was attempting to return, then recanted a few minutes later and denied that she had ever said that. She never sent the needed forms in my e-mail that she promised she would so that I could return the product.
She told me that she would have another agent call me back but never gave him the message. After waiting almost 45min. I called back and got a hold of another agent, Mark, and was told he was never given the message to call me. I asked Mark if Ruthann was in fact the owner and he said that she knowingly lied to me and she was not.
After waiting more than a day I have still not received the e-mail with the necessary form to obtain my refund.
I had already filled out that form that you are referring to online.
Doesn't excuse her abuse and lies
I have asked for that form and Ruthann, sent the RMA but not the form.
I ordered Dermagist Eye lift in December 2017. I am allergic to many creams and gels so ' Risk free' caught my eye. I understood that if I returned the product, I would be responsible for shipping and handling in the return. I spent $108.98 for two bottles. As soon as it was delivered, I tried it on one eye and had a terrible reaction. My eye was severely swollen and itchy for 3 days. I immediately returned it with an explanation and did not hear anything for over a month. I called customer service and at first the woman was very nice until she heard that I was looking for the credit to my credit card. The she was so ugly and said I wasn't getting anything but a store credit. I AM ALLERGIC TO THIS PRODUCT! I don't want a store credit.
If I keep ordering different things and have to return them, the amount of the store credit will be dwindled away paying for the return shipping and handling. She said it was my fault because I should have read the pages of information regarding the return of the product. I did and never saw anything about a store credit. Please beware of this company!
The dermagist return/refund policy, from their website, specifically instructs you to do it in writing (online):
http://www.dermagist.com/shop/store-policies
Within that link is another link to get an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number and form.
Refund
The website states you should see results in 30 days. But the 30 day refund is in effect from when you order it. So you do not get to try it for 30 days. Why is there a $7.00 restocking fee per bottle when they will not re-use the almost empty bottles? I loved the smell and the feel of the neck and aging serum. but I saw no improvements, and actually I have more wrinkles now than before. I will just have to take it and learn from this experience, as I wanted a refund 2 days after I ordered it, no refund will be sent. Bad business practices.
There eye gel caused by eyes to water and blurred vision. I returned the product and the company refused to refund my purchase. They told me that I can only get credit. STAY AWAY FROM THEM There is nothing else I can do. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEAS?
Foul Products and Refusal to Reimburse
Order skin care products from this company to combat signs of aging. Products smell like lemon scented cat poop. Facial cream looks, feels and smells like old lard. Requested a refund and was sent the form via email that cannot be printed online. Printed out form, provided box for shipping return, label and shipping costs born by me to return product...
