I bought some skin care cream for my mother from this company. They advertise FREE trial @ $6.95. I ordered it on my visa card and had it sent to Mom's house. Later I find that Dermitage has taken $69.95 from my credit card account for this FREE trial. Then they take $73.92 from my account 30 days later and $73.92 from my account again 30 days after that. There is nothing FREE about their FREE trial. They have taken money from my Credit Card account on 3 occasions without authorization. How can I get my money back from these thieves?

Extremely deceptive practice. My wife ordered a trial. It came and then the others start coming. You have to read the fine prints (Where is FTC?). I called and cancelled the "subscription." I am calling the credit card company to notify them for the future transactions. I am sure that they will charge the "stocking fee."

The free trail is actually a 30 day supply and you are automatically billed for automatic shipments after 14 days - plus shipping - which is NOT refundable...buyer beware. Please READ terms and conditions.

I was offered a trial product for $3.95. After 3 weeks, they debited my credit card for $89.00 without my authorization. I will not have to fight to get my money credited back. I did not even use the producut.

do not sign up for trial offer. Once you put your credit card no. they will keep on charging you. I called my credit card company and the they cannot do any thing about it because we agreed to Dermitage terms and conditions which are out of general public's understanding. Because my credit card company did not support me, the only way to stop Dermitage charging me from every month is to cancel the credit card.

I too order the "FREE SAMPLE". I had it go to my P.O. box which I visit about 2 times a month, all of a sudden I checked my online banking statement and they had put 99.95 pending charge on my account. I called them, told they I DID NOT SIGN UP for anything? SHE was nasty to me on the phone and asked if I read the stuff in the box? I told her yes and and she tried to tell me that you HAVE TO CONTACT them within a certain amount of days to cancel the scam they just hooked you into. Well, of course I didn't see it...they make it that way on purpose to hook you in. I never SIGNED/nor was asked about any agreement with them what so ever on future shipments!

So, I told her I WAS NOT going to pay it, I would put a block on it, she said I couldn't do that! I said yes I would as I was NOT paying for it and that I signed nothing...she said they would reverse the charges and hung up on me. Very professional of her huh? I did not swear or was nasty just to the point that I was not paying for this type of scam. I did not authorize anything further to be sent to me.

Today the charge went though, I have Chase Bank and went down after talking to the dispute center and cancelled my card, they are giving me a credit for the fraudulent charge, and I will receive a new card shortly. They nicely go after them. I have bought things online and never had this pulled on me before, and since Dertimage is a well know brand name I would have never guess they would pull this.

I hope they get their company closed down this is absolutely illegal to do this to people.

I just called [protected]. The number posted above by Dermitage Customer Support! No one answers! It rings and rings and after about 20 rigs it says "your party is not answering, please try your call later." This is (luckily) BEFORE I even bought the product. I wanted to see whether I would have been able to cancel if I bought it. I guess not. Dermitage- whoa!

your company charged me 99.65 and i did not want to order this product. Do not send me this in the mail.

I have been to my bank and cancelled the debit card. The bank will notify you, please refund my money

without any charges for mailing as i did not order this. i see this seems to be a problem with your company.

This is no way to do business!

There is such a thing as Terms & Conditions when you order anything online and put in your credit card information. They aren't reaching into your purse and taking your credit card and making purchases for you, they're giving yopu the oppotunity to try and product, no where on the website does it say FREE SAMPLE, so if you're too ignorant to read what you're signing up for and agreeing to by putting your information out there, don't blame anybody but yourself. I'd never be ignorant enough to put my credit card information on a website without reading the terms & conditions and the stipulations of giving them my private information.

You people are killing me. Most of you noticed the terms and conditions but failed to read them like any other smart person would do. Do not fault the company fault yourself. It is your responsibility to ensure you understand the terms and conditions before putting your credit card information in. Next time think smart before you decide to call customer service and eat there ###ing head off when they are there to help you get it resolved. They just work for the company they don't make the policies.

any time you enter your personal credit card information, you should be careful. ALWAYS read the terms and conditions. because of the terms and conditions being listed in so many places whenever you order ANYTHING on the internet, you cannot have any sort of legal case against them. lawyers will laugh on the inside when you sue a company and the terms and conditions are listed anywhere visible and accessible. so make sure you understand how a subscription or deal online works, and don't assume that you are some sort of victim just because you didn't read the terms and conditions and they are some sort of terrible company that is out to get you. it is true, there is barely anything anymore that is absolutely free. if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Wow! This company is the biggest scam! I just checked my account. They had taken $89.95. I ordered the free trail for $5.95. I called the company and demanded to speak to a supervisor. Riley (#31146) was rude but said she was authorized to return $50.00 of my money She gave me the following fax number to complain: [protected]. You need your order number. I will be complaining!

these persons perform a scam, they offer you free some small sample of their product, but on a very faded
letters there is the hidden truth, the gige you 15 days, they call it a trial, but they are working on charging your
card with $99.95 for some mere samples, besides now i received a call from my forwarder, saying that there is some more sample in mi name. This sacam is horrible and should be stopped

First they place a pop up advertise when I used by bank of america online site. They said the product is Free all I need to do is pay for the shipping fee. I paid for that and I got the Product in the mail. one month later they charge my card for $89.95 without my authorization. I called them and they said that is the cost for the product that they send me last month. I told them I only authorize the shipping fee and how do I get charge for the product when they said it was FREE. I told them I want my money back and I can return their cream back to them because I haven't use it yet. They said no I have to pay for the Cream and refused to refund my money.

Dermitage was advertized at a JC Penny website. I trusted JCP and read the "free sample" of Dermitage. All I would have to pay for is the shipping.

I didn't realize 1 month later I would have a $89.95 attached to my Credit card.

I called their [protected] number and asked that the fee be removed.

This would not happen because the 30 trail is over. Never, did I read anything about a trail.

This is only a reminder ---nothing is free!

Dermitage is a rip off - - free sample is NOT free - beware!

This is a total marketing scam. Any reputable company would not "trick" their customers by putting additional charges in the fine print. You should be ashamed Dermitage. I cant imagine a marketing dept coming up with this scheme. Just shows you the lengths that some poor companies will go to make a dollar. Repeat business is not in their plan.

I wasn't scammed by this company, but by another last year. My efforts successfully got that scamming company shut down. Here is what works:

File complaints with:
Office of the Attorney General of California - http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/general.php
The California Department of Consumer Affairs - http://www.dca.ca.gov/consumer/complaints.shtml

Call your credit card company and tell them not to honor any more charges from Dermitage. You can also cancel your card and get another (new number - no new charges).

Send emails to the following articulating your situation and don't stop until you get relief. Tell syndero employees that you have contacted the State AG and CA Department of Consumer Affairs.

I ordered a FREE sample of Dermitage skin products, $3.95 shipping and handling. No where on the free sample order form did it state I would receive a 30 day trial supply. No where on the order form did it state to try this product for 14 days, then let Dermitage know my results. On the 15th day, Dermitage would assume I liked this product and would bill me $89.95. If I didn't like this product, I needed to call by day 14, cancel, then return the product. A restocking fee would be billed to me and I would have to pay for postage and handling to return the product. I say Dermitage need to be more specific on their free products. If you read more on this company, there is serious scam-like procedures taking place. Stay away from this company. I wish I had.

I have ordered products from Dermitage for my mother and sister in law and they work wonderfully. The way the free trail works is it is exactly that...a free TRAIL. The trail is a 14 day trial. this means if u are unhappy with the way its working, you have to call CS before your trail date ends to get a number to send it back. Another thing to hint to all of you out there, it would be smart to read Terms and Conditions closely before signing up for anything, online or by phone. It has all the info in fine print and will NOT stand up in court...trust me, im an attorney.

I was on my bank site, when a pop-up window came up. The bank said that if I took a quick survey that I would receive a free gift for my time and input. I accepted and answered a few questions. I selected Dermitage as my 'free gift'. Later that day I went to review my emails and had received an email from Dermitage letting me know that my 'free-trial' offer had been mailed and that after 14 days, my account would be charged 89.00! I immediatly called them, canceled the order, called my bank and let them know that I did not appreciate their free offer...that wasn't free! Becareful! Even of your bank!

Dermitage advertises free products and sounds very sincere regarding their products. You give them your name and credit card information so they can charge you for the shipping only. When you receive the products, there is a notice inside the package that they will continue to ship these "free" products every month unless you instruct them to cease and desist all charges and return the "free" product (you must pay for shipping)to them with an RMA number they issue. So, actually these procudes are not free. You have paid for the shipping and if you don't want these charges on your credit card every month, you have to pay to ship the original "free" product back to them. I feel that if they had a legitimately good product they would not have to resort to these tactics.

Dermitage proposes an "Anti aging cream" trail for 14 days for $ 2.I ran out of one of the creams after 8 days and did not see any improvements in my skin.
I decided to send back their creams as that was what they had advised me when the results were not up to what I expected.
I now find out that they charged my credit card for $76.60 there where they claim that their monthly fee would be only $ 69.95.

Ordered Dermitage Anti-Aging System on April 2nd, and by April 14th have not received product. In small print, their terms and conditions state that thir system incldes a 14-day FREE trial period an at the end of that period, they will automatically charge their discounted price of $89.95. I have called to cancel their product even before I have had a chance to try it out. Their advertisement is very deceptive. If I received the system today, I would have had only one day to use it. If they deliberately delayed the shipment of my order, my 14-day "trial period" would have ended and my VISA account would have been charged $89.95.

I ordered the "Free Sample" of Dermitage in April. I then realized this weekend that I had been charged $99 for the product. So with all this said, I felt embarrassed that I had been taken advantage of. I consider myself a very smart business woman. I built and sold an internet business that was extremely successful. I know that when you click on the terms and conditions and read the print you will see that you have to return within 14 days, but that was not explained any where. I feel that they should have the print come up and you must scroll down and read through before you purchase. When I went on the internet to research this yesterday, I noticed that there are hundreds if not thousands of dissatisfied customers that have filed complaints similar to mine. These laws need to be restructured to protect the consumer.

I used this product for about a week... just had to much water in it for my skin dried my skin out. I called the 1.800.886.8805 number with no answer, so I tried on line. They had the same number I called it again with to my surprise a person answered. I told him I would like to return this product and why. They are sending me info via email to return the product so hopefully my credit card will not be charged. I will be watching it carefully!

I called the 1800 number to cancel my account and was told that I would receive an E mail in two minutes. It has been two days later and hasn’t received the E MAIL. Back on the phone for the third time trying to get a number that must be placed on the out side of the returned product. Today again I emphasized the importance of my credit card not being charged for product I have tried desperately to return. To me it is unethical, untrustworthy, self serving and underhanded merchandising company I have ever crossed paths with. of dealing with companies and I encourage anyone who is planning on ordering any of their products to never give them your credit card and just go to the local department store. You will save yourself not only a lot of money but frustration. It is my opinion if companies would be honest with the customer up front on advertizing, the sales of their products would grow. The add for a free sample just pay shipping and handling has cost me dearly. God bless
