Great communication
Honestly, I was blind sided by sextortion. This service is a bit pricy but they took over on all communications with the criminals and gave me a very detailed report on everything in a very timely manner. They helped guide me through the process and we are currently starting Phase 2. We were able to get a good amount of info on location of criminals and scare them off in the phase 1 process (for now). I’m hoping to get a bit more closer in the phase 2 process but am happy to have a team of experts on my side!
I would recommend it to anyone who's a victim in online blackmail
I was going through a stressful time with online suspect, who is trying to blackmail me with my personal information. Until I discovered digital forensics and decided to use their services to fight back. My case manager Brain and my analysis Vanessa are being a big help in fight against the suspect. Right now, I am in phase II to protect for future threats from the suspect and hopefully catch the person. I would recommend it to anyone who's a victim in online blackmail.
I definitely recommend it
I’m pleased with everything that Y’all have done and I feel safe with Y’all working on my case and being able to protect me from any Bad Criminal activities like if they were to contact me or post anything about me that y’all will take it down ASAP and I just hope to feel safe once again in my own life but overall I say 10/10 I definitely recommend it so far because y’all got to work right away and didn’t waste anytime or anything y’all made me feel safe and answered all my questions that I had.
Thank you for your services
I was happy with the professionalism exhibited by everyone on the team. My situation was very stressful, and potentially catastrophic. I thought the manager gave me some reassurance when i asked her to. My only feedback would be to be mindful of the huge level of stress your clients may be under and trying to not make it feel purely transactional. Thank you for your services.
Fantastic job
I am dealing with an online blackmailer, which it hit to a point that my back is again the wall and completely overwhelmed. I discovered Digital Forensics to see if they could assist me. My case manager Brian and My analyst Vanessa are doing a fantastic job in fighting with the suspect. I am in phase II, hopefully they able to catch the perpetrator
Thank you
As mentioned, Um early in the Digital Forensics process mainly because of a hold up in my end. So far, I’ve been very impressed with the timeliness and professionalism of my Account Manager, Justin. He answered my call in under 10-minutes upon inquiry and was very thorough and upfront regarding the process and costs. I will be calling for an engineer to work with me to mirror the fumes in my devices and see what’s extracted. Thank you.
Thank Goodness the team is here to help.
So far, I know I am working with a great group of folks at DFC that are very caring and looking out for my welfare. I am very grateful that they are patience with me during this process and giving me guidelines on what needs to be done. It is early in the Investigation, but I hope it gets resolved as soon as possible for I can put this behind me with no stress or agony in my life.
My experience with Digital Forensics was phenomenal
My experience with Digital Forensics was phenomenal. This extraordinary company took personal care of me and my case. My case manager Anthony and Victoria were amazing. Both are positive, confident, and knowledgeable. Victoria worked quickly and completed a lot of work on day one. She returned control of my social media that had been taken by scammer/hackers in minutes. I expect that the rest of my case will be handled in the same timely manner. I'm extremely satisfied with their professionalism.
I simply CAN NOT stop them from withdrawing money from my bank account. If you are thinking about using this company, DONT. Horrible experience. Total scam.
Excellent organization. I had an emergency, and they resolved my situation in three days. They did exactly what I contracted them for. Anyone needing timely help of a digital forensics nature will be pleased with their work.
After being pressured and miss lead by the salesman . I signed the agreement with out having anyone else look at it . The sales man was well aware that there was not time for anyone to read the contract . After hearing his tales about the "Engineers " that evidently do not exist . I called back with in hours to get a refund and asked to cancel in full . He agrees to give me a full refund that I have never received . In my case there is no email trail to follow , this sly salesman simply walks you through sending payment asap and leaves no way to prove anything about the way they swindle you with the bait and switch .

Great supports from account manager and engineers and the detailed report was delivered on time. Really love Nichole work. Very effective and efficient.
This is a great company. The people I talked to were very helpful, especially Joe and Amanda. They explained everything they would do and so far they have done what they promised. They helped take the stress out of a very stressful situation. Yes, it cost money for their services but in the long run, it was worth it. Thanks, DFC for all our help. I would recommend this company to anyone.
As a result of my own foolishness I needed to call on DFC. The responded quickly, and communicated as needed. There is no doubt that being in a position to have to call DFC is stressful and can result in loss of sleep. However, the folks assigned to help me were on the case quickly and efficiently; found the source of the problem and quieted the threat. Nichole and Mike, her manager, were effective. I would call them again in a moment if I needed their help.
I have been pleased so far with the help and assistance I have received in my case
I have been pleased so far with the help and assistance I have received in my case. Nichole G... has been very professional and caring through a very difficult situation. She has responded back to me in a timely fashion and I feel confident she is actively focused on trying to resolve the issues in my case. When you are unfairly attacked by cyber-criminals you need expertise, professionalism, hope, and emotional support. My case is ongoing, but I am thankful to have much-needed professional forensic help. I am in a much better position now than when the case began. I am trusting DFC will continue to protect me and will totally resolve the case soon.
Great supports from account manager and engineers and the detailed report was delivered on time.
I felt that Nichole (Forensic Analyst) did an excellent job in the one week I signed for. My issue was resolved in 5 days in which I received a document showing the day by day events. I would definitely recommend DFC to anyone who finds themselves in a situation of being extorted. Chris
They have been very professional and fast acting. If you need this kind of professional help, it is important to act fast and thorough.
I contacted this company to help me deal with cyber harassment/extortion and was very impressed by how they handled everything
I contacted this company to help me deal with cyber harassment/extortion and was very impressed by how they handled everything. In the beginning, I was rather skeptical with all the mixed reviews i was reading. I hired them about 3 weeks ago and I havent had any of the problems that previous reviewers have had. I had paid for both the Phase 1 and Phase 2 reporting, they were flexible on how I can pay and helpful in tackling this situation. I want to thank my case manager Jeff and his team for all the work they have done in providing a solution. The only thing however keeping me from giving a 5 star rating was the communication. Yes they have always contacted me on updates but when I had questions or concerns they were rather inconsistent. But other than that, very satisfied with the work they have done for me in getting out of my nightmarish predicament.
Terrible service
Terrible service. After the phase I service, they told me that they can not solve the case since the suspect did not open their email. Therefore, I start the phase II service with them. They said that they will keep monitor the suspect activity and work with local law enforcement to make sure to stop the blackmail from the suspect. After I paid them, I can not even reach out to my representative. I got the voice mail all the time and got no callback. There's NO feedback or communication since phase II started. I finally got a phone call from them because my card was declined and I ask for the progress of my case and got no response. They keep ignoring my email of asking the progress of my case and they threatened me that they will hand this matter to their attorney for collections. Their customer service is poor and they can not deliver any actual result.

I reached out to this company to help with online extortion
I reached out to this company to help with online extortion. The company told me they had a 94% chance of locating the person responsible, even though it was very likely they were in a completely different country. They also informed me that their success rate was 90%. All I had to do was give them the $1500 to start the process. I was informed they would not actually start investigating until I finished sending them the remaining $1999.00 via wire transfer. I gave them the initial $1500 and the representative sent me the contract that stated even if they don't find any information at all that can be useful to solving my problem there are no refunds. I then saw the reviews of how many people were taken advantage of by this company so I tried to call them and ask some more questions and no one will call me back. I then spoke the Complaintsboard.com and was informed that it is very unlikely that they would be able to bring any kind of legal action toward the person especially if they are in another country. They still have my $1500 and will not return any of my phone calls. I didn't sign the contract and am demanding my money back as their customer service is poor and they were not truthful in what they will actually deliver.

I am writing this review regarding Digital Forensics Corp
I am writing this review regarding Digital Forensics Corp. and my experience with DFC. I contacted Digital Forensics Corp. because I was being attacked and extorted by a cyber criminal. It was extremely frightening and I didn't know what to do. I felt very alone. In desperation I searched for help online and came across Digital Forensics Corp. I called just to get information and to see if help was even possible. It was almost midnight when I called but they still answered the phone! They explained what they do and how they could help. In the morning I spoke with Nichole, my Digital Forensics Detective. She is AMAZING! Nicole got some additional info from me and went straight to work. Within THREE DAYS she was able to resolve my case and get the cyber criminal to stop harassing me and stop the extortion! DFC has highly sophisticated tools and are expertly trained to find and STOP these cyber criminals in their tracks. Not only that, Digital Forensics Corp. continues to monitor my social media accounts for me to make sure they are protected and remain safe. I never experienced being extorted by a cyber criminal before so this was very scary and traumatic, more then I can describe in this review. Nicole, with Digital Forensics Corp., was a LIFESAVER! I would definitely recommend DFC to anyone who finds themselves in a situation of being cyber harassed and / or extorted. The people at DFC are all very helpful, friendly and professional. I am so glad that I found them. They are the best! I am so thankful for Nicole and amazed at how fast she was able to stop all the harassment and extortion that was happening to me. Thank you Digital Forensics Corp.
I signed up for DFC's $1500 15-day service to investigate a cryptocurrency scam
I signed up for DFC's $1500 15-day service to investigate a cryptocurrency scam. It's more like 1.5 months. Yes, technically 15 business days, even though they work on weekends. They started only on the 10th weekday and went overtime. Understandable, as I may have asked for a lot. Their report was disappointing, mostly premium versions of online public searches. It didn't tell me more than what I already found out myself. Fine, maybe my case is unusual, and it seems DFC is just good at hunting small-time US-based scammers. For crypto assets tracing report, they dumped 50 pages of pdf figures that aren't click-able, long wallet addresses were not listed and couldn't be highlighted for copy-pasting, and aren't really useful for follow-up investigators. I don't get how people can practically use their ~100-page report. Crypto exchanges want click-able links or easy visuals in fraud claims, and many police eyes roll over when one mentions cryptocurrency, let alone 50 pages of unclick-able, uncopy-paste-able charts. A crypto-tracing firm I later contacted found their report comical, as they can do the same in just 1.5 pages max, including better visuals. DFC can send legal demand letter to offending parties as part of their service. For weeks after the report I kept asking to talk to DFC legal team to clarify things about their legal service. Big financial institutions, which my target is, employ lawyers who can smell BS in legal demands. Their generic demand letters might work with small-time scammers. DFC repeatedly assured me their legal will contact me soon, very soon, but nothing. I had many questions and some special requests. Instead, weeks later I found out, and only because I asked, that DFC legal has already sent the letter, despite my instructions to NOT to send it before contacting me. After some confusion (it's shipped to an address "I provided", my home address?) I was assured the letter was not sent to my target, so I got another lawyer to send a legal demand. It turns out, DFC did send to my target (1 month after their report, ~2 months since I signed up for their service), and they wasted 1 month of my time waiting and waiting. I wasted money, too, in hiring another lawyer since I had no idea what's going on on their end. So my target got 2 legal letters from lawyers saying they represent me. One was DFC's undiplomatic letter, the other was a more careful letter. DFC is a bureaucratic mess. I thought my case manager would be my internal advocate but he doesn't know what's going on. Actually, nobody does; everyone stays in their lanes and washes off their hands once their part is done. Maybe they're understaffed with huge backlogs of cases, but that's not our problem. They could adjust clients' expectations and communicate better. Just because their industry is rife with scammers, DFC is settling for a low bar. They may have just bungled a potentially $100k good settlement. Case#285868

So, I hired this company 2 weeks ago because I fell victim to a dating scam
So, I hired this company 2 weeks ago because I fell victim to a dating scam. The perpetrator or perpetrators got some personal information from me and were attempting to blackmail me. Digital forensics claimed with the services they provided, they could track this guy down, contact local law enforcement where he resides, and put him behind bars where he deserves to be. They really manipulated me when I was already in a vulnerable state of mind dealing with the blackmailer. So I paid them $2000 to resolve my case within 7 days, so they claim. First of all, I could never get ahold of my case manager over the phone, or the lady working on the case. They are almost impossible to reach by phone. So after 8 days, my case manager finally gets ahold of me to go over the details on the case. With the information they have, I think they could probably get this guy incarcerated for a while if they'd actually do their job with the clients like they claim. Well, needless to say, the blackmailer contacted me again this week, so it's like what did I just pay for. Nothing was accomplished. I almost feel like I was a victim of one scam only to fall victim to another scam of someone pretending to help.
I did not read the contract fully, I panicked through fear of being black mailed
I did not read the contract fully, I panicked through fear of being black mailed. I did it quickly. the representative gave false positives promises that they could find them negotiate with the sextortionist to let me go. through studying black mail they can never "let me go" when in reality they will always have my video.. there are a lot things I am afraid of. there are add on charges were not clearly said when speaking to representative. phase 1 just finds the person rather than resolving the problem for $1,500. I do not have the funds to continue to phase 2. I am not comfortable with letting the company to use my account. giving my information & privacy of passwords, social media. I am scared that the company will lose my information & "possibly assist the sextortionist". they will not take any responsibility for anything lost.. I do not need these services. mentions in non payment provision in the contract: I have 3 days to dispute the invoice of payment. I called/email/texted asking for a refund and to cancel services. I know that my case hasn't been worked on yet because they mentioned that it would not be worked on till 5-7 business days. I would like to be free from this contract of any further payments. I would like to cancel my services & please get my money back.
I thought i had fallen for a romance scam and hired Digital Forensics to do an investigation on the individual. My case ID is ***. Digital Forensics completed what they deem to be "Phase One" of their investigation. My case manager reached out to me to arrange a time. I tried reaching out to her to no avail for about a month. Until i was informed that she was on leave, "due to a death in her family." We played phone tag back and forth and after the last time we agreed for her to vall me she never did. I've made multiple attempts to arrange a new meeting, but have heard nothing back from her. At this point I want my 900 dollars back.
I am absolutely appalled with the service I was provided from this company. I started a case on 08/16. Not only did I spend 1,500 for absolutely no resolve, when I was contacted about my case, when I told my case manager that I was unhappy with the service provided & that I was going to be unable to afford to spend even more money for services, he responded very rudely with "well what are you going to do when he comes back in a week?". I was being blackmailed, & the fact that I was being coerced to buy more services from a company that did absolutely nothing except make my blackmailer angrier is disgusting. I did not appreciate how my new "case manager" spoke to me and how he would say "I would hate to see you get arrested for this". Why were scare tactics being used? I told my case manager that I would be unable to spend an addition 3,500 for services, & he suggested I ask for a loan from a friend or family member. I am currently seeking a full refund because of how I was treated.
I'm appalled by the service from Digital Forensics Corp. I fell victim to an online dating scam in which a scammer tried to extort both me and my brother to receive money using personal and compromising information. I contacted Digital Forensics Corp out of fear and they clearly recognized that and capitalized on it. They used fear tactics (i.e. "unless you pay for this service, you will never be safe," "we are your only option," "you need to upgrade to this service which costs thousands more than our basic service for any type of results" ) to get me to pay thousands of dollars for a service with which I have seen no return. I have not been able to contact my case manager since the initial contact. I feel like I avoided one scam only to fall victim for another which ended up costing me even more money. This company simply uses the same exact tactics that the scammers themselves use in order to make money off of people in a vulnerable and compromising situation. Absolutely avoid them.
reached out to them for a cyber harassment issue
reached out to them for a cyber harassment issue. I explained to them why i don't believe they can help me but the assured me that they dealt with such cases in the past and they can help. Phase 1 60 day deal would cost $1500 of which 500 would be a credit card charge and the rest with a money gram check (weird way of payment. should've alerted me right away) which i accepted but right away he tried talking me in to take the 30 day deal for a 'Special" upgrade of $500 instead of the reg, $1000 price and the new $500 charge he'll let me do on the cc as well. card was charges instantly and a "overnight" shipping label for the check was sent within seconds! (money hungry..) sent in all info, but asked if my case manager can call me to discuss some impotent info which cannot be typed up well, didn't hear form them for weeks. very bad communication... the 30 day deal got stretched to 50 days with all excuses that it's 30 Working days and not 30 days like every normal company. finally somebody called me and asked the stupidest question which the answer was on the first page on my already provided info. but he had to make the call to me to satisfy my numerous requests! fast fwd I started sending them messages that i'm not interested in the results of the investigation since i saw they'll have nothing since its a fraudulent company. that's when they got scared and reached out to me that they finally have the results of my investigation which was nothing + nothing! less then provided! caught them with a lie in the investigation as well! deeply disappointed! stay far away! don't ignore a Complaintsboard.com "D" rating!
My account manager was courteous and understanding in assisting me with my situation. He returned my calls promptly and answered my texts in a timely fashion. I appreaciated his patience and concern. I do hope that your company will be able to resolve my situation completely. Thank you.
They are extremely quick at getting in touch with you. Great at working around a manageable price that is comfortable with you
Easy to communicate with, helps ease my mind when I know Ricardo and team have my back
Everyone that has worked with me to help my case have been very professional and kind about my situation. If ever I run into any other issues like this in the future, this organization will be the first I call
I started with Digital on November 11th so I would say it’s way too early to rate performance but as far as my initial inquiry, the reception by Mandy, the speed by which she moved forward and the handling of my matter so by Vanessa have all been very good.
We are truly satisfied and appreciative of your service. Prayer for results and closure.
Taking thousands from you and not solving the problem. Threatening to report to the credit bureau. And all for non complete service.

About Digital Forensics
The process of digital forensics involves several steps, starting with the acquisition of digital evidence. This is typically done using specialized hardware and software tools that allow investigators to make a forensic copy of the device or media being analyzed. The next step is analysis, which involves searching for and extracting relevant data and artifacts that may be relevant to the case. This can involve examining metadata, file systems, network activity, and other sources of digital evidence.
Interpretation is the next step in the digital forensics process. This involves analyzing the data that has been collected and interpreting it in the context of the case. This can involve piecing together timelines, identifying patterns, and determining which pieces of evidence are most important. Finally, reporting is the last step in the process, involving summarizing the findings in a way that is clear and understandable to non-technical stakeholders.
Digital forensics is a rapidly evolving field, as technology continues to advance and create new challenges for investigators. However, it has proven to be an essential tool for law enforcement agencies, corporations, and other organizations that need to investigate digital incidents or analyze electronic evidence. With the right tools, techniques, and expertise, digital forensics can provide invaluable insights and help investigators uncover the truth behind complex digital incidents.
