Driver stole my food and ate it!
I have used Door Dash a handful of times over the last few years with no issues. Last night it was rather cold and I didn't feel like cooking so I figured I'd order out for dinner. Not to mention my car doesn't like the cold either so it was cook, order out or starve.
I placed an order and the security seal the restaurant places on their orders was broken when it arrived. More than 3/4 of my order was missing! To make matters worse they took my daughter's meal of orange chicken and replaced it with the broccoli from my plate (which also had orange chicken) Then they took my entire plate!
The receipt taped to the bag from the restaurant had all our items listed on it and were checked off and signed for. I ran out to confront the dasher and he drove off like a street racer tires screeching and smoking!
I called the restaurant and they verified that all items were in the bag when the dasher took it.
So the Dasher stole my daughter's dinner and mine. Not to mention half my other daughter's meal was missing as were both their drinks!
I called Door Dash to complain and made sure to tell them the security seal was broken. They claimed they would charge back a partial refund but we will see.
So I had to scramble up some dinner for my kids anyway (I didn't want to cook that is why I ordered out!) and I ate cold cereal since I was too p*ssed off to eat anything substantial.
I will no longer use Door Dash! Once is all it takes!
Desired outcome: FULL REFUND AND DRIVER FIRED!
First time customer with a super bad experience
So today is family day in Canada and I thought what great fun it would be ti just order in, so we decided to try doordash for the first time. I found what I wanted and ordered it but at checkout I would get a message stating that my order was not accepted because the restaurant I ordered from is currently closed. I checked with the restaurant they said they were open from morning to night. I called customer service and the idiot there told me I had to call the restaurant and let them know that they are not connected to door dahes network! They told me to do that? I called again and spoke to second idiot asking to speak with management. They tried to make jump through hoops to get a hold of the manager. Called again and had to argue again to get a manager they put me on hold for 45 minutes until someone picked uo claiming they were the manager. After some time on the phone with her she says that if the order didn’t go through its because the restaurant is closed or does not deal with door dash. I mean really? Then she just went silent and the time on my phone app is still counting the minutes I am left on silent. This is my first experience with anew to me company and this is how I was treated. I am not done with this because I am super disappointed and angry 😡 Door dash ruined my Family day and waisted three hours of my time with no food delivery and no answers.
Desired outcome: Make it right i am a human being and customer not some number who gives you money

Petsmart order doordash
I was on vacation at a local Airbnb in Albuquerque, NM. Earlier in the day, I had ordered doordash Dunkin' Donuts and got my order without issue. I ordered doordash because I was on vacation in a city I did not know and had a car loaded on a trailer behind my truck. I proceeded to order some items for my fully vetted service animal from petsmart the order totaled 175.00. At this same time I also ordered food from a local restaurant, it was a different order. The dasher for my petsmart order could not find the address and customer support called me, the representatives were all rude, stating that my address did not exist. Then they forced the cancellation of my order and refused to give me my money back, all the while my other order came just fine. The representatives wanted me to go meet the dasher in a town I didn't know, all the while Ida had to load my service dog etc... Just to be clear, two other dashes had no problem finding me! No refund, no petsmart. Apparently, a driver that can't find your address gets to keep your stuff and all they have to do is say they can't find you... This is theft of a disabled person all the while it made me have to leave early because my dog has no food and I am on a budget and these [censored] refused to give me back my money. So now I'm into the ordeal over 1564.78 because these [censored] wanted to do this to me. Best believe I will be reporting this and even taking them to court. All because I'm disabled and couldn't meet the driver... Get ready doordash you owe me an apology, my money back, and a paid in full vacation. I'm not going away or going to let this go until you make this right so that you don't ever do this to someone else ever again. It's now the principal of the matter. How dare you... Legal robbery... Thieves, that's what you are in more ways than one.
Desired outcome: I want my money back, a public apology, your systems gps fixed, drivers trained, and my vacation completely paid for because you RUINED IT AND MADE ME LEAVE EARLY
Since when can a business legally commit theft...apparently this company is legalizing it...its disgusting...if they dont want to hold their drivers responsible then guess what the owners should be...I have a business and have to answer for what my employees do or do not do...the owners of doordash should have to as well...theft is theft no matter what way you slice it.
Petsmart charges you for your order, then they contact with door dash to deliver. The order bever arrives a d pertsmart blames door dash and foor dash blames petsmart..bottom line petsmart steals your money and will n ot help!

I placed an order from El Palacio de los Jugos at 1545 S.W. 27th Avenue in Miami on Wednesday February 16, 2022 at 6:26 pm for soup, purée and juice for $23.85. I was called from the restaurant telling me they were out of the malanga purée, they sent the rest of the order, it should have been adjusted down by $7.68 to $16.78, it wasn't, my MasterCard credit card was charged for the full amount of $23.85 as if the order had been complete. I want credit for the $7.68 difference. Thank you.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund of $7.68 for the purée they didn't have.

I went online and ordered dinner from Rallys. Paid, then Rallys called and stated they didn't have everything we ordered. They cancelled the order. I received an email that stated the order was cancelled and my payment would go back on my debit card in 5-8 business days. It has been 12 days. I called them and they weren't going to put it back on my card but give me a doordash credit instead. I insisted it be put back on my card. After 20 minutes on hold they said they would put my refund back on my card in 5 business days. I have already waited 2 wks. and now another 5 days. Poor business practices. Won't use them ever again.
Desired outcome: Refund as soon as possible.
Cancelled order and no refund
I placed an order at wing stop and immediately cancelled the order. I received an email and text message stating they received my cancellation. I placed a new order at the same location with slightly different options. When the dasher delivered my order it was the exact order that I had cancelled and I never received the order that I actually wanted. I now have two charges for over $80 on my bank account and no credit plus I received the wrong order. It appears to be a $12 “Dasher Credits” but when you click on it the value shows zero. Along with the fact my credit should be $81! There is no phone number on the app to call and I called wing stop and they said they cannot help me.!
Desired outcome: I would like my credit of $81 back to my card and understand how or where my actual order went.
pharmacy delivery
Driver STOLE my order that included medication. Dasher marked the order as complete. She never showed up. I called Customer Service and they will do NOTHING about it. My medication was stolen.
I asked to have a manager call me from DoorDash. They refused. They have a criminal stealing people's medication and they do nothing about it.

Unable to place an order - delivery time frame I wanted not showing on Door Dash's website website
I tried to place an order yesterday (2/10/22) at around 4:30 pm MT for a delivery by Outback Steakhouse in Edgewater, NJ. This was my first order with Door Dash and the website would not show me the delivery time I wanted. It would only show up to 4:00 pm. and then went to next day (2/11) and I wanted my order to be delivered in NJ at 7:15 p.m on 2/10). I ended up going directly to the Restaurant I wanted to order from (Outback Steakhouse in Edgewater, NJ). I was charged $7.99 for delivery and then found out that Door Dash would be the one making the delivery after all. If I had been able to place the order with Door Dash my delivery fee would have been free as a first time customer. The restaurant filled the order, and failed to call Door Dash for pick up for almost one hour. By the time the order was picked up by Door Dash once called, the order had been sitting on a counter for almost an hour. My desired delivery time was 7:15 pm ET and it actually got delivered at 8:12 pm ET. I know the fault was not Door Dash's, but the lack of a call from the restaurant for pick up. The dinner was cold and undesirable when it was delivered. The point I'm trying to make is that I could have avoided all this if I had been able to order directly from Door Dash if the desired delivery time had been shown on the website. I'm not impressed with my first time attempted use of Door Dash.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response of why this happened to contemplate using Door Dash again. Also, Door Dash needs to communicate with restaurant about the delay of calling for pick up once an order is ready for delivery.

I received a dash $6 for 12 miles like why would anyone do that order if I’m working in a area that’s a 14 miles radius why would you send me 12 miles out of that why aren’t you stopping people who isn’t within there zone from ordering clear across town I got one just now for $7 for 22.2 miles that’s absolutely ridiculous and if I decline it my percentage goes down this is absolutely unfair gas is almost $5 a gallon I put $50 in my tank I got 219 miles I start at 5pm by 12am I’m at 30 miles with only $50 to $60 dollars I’m literally just making back my gas money this is crazy

I downloaded the DD app today (2/10/22 - first time using) and placed an $80 order from Atlanta Bread Co. for u business at approx 11:45 a.m. The expected delivery time was 12:45 p.m. When the driver "arrived" at 12:30 p.m., I was on a call and missed the text. 9 minutes later I texted back to call me and let the person know that I was here. I then called several times and left one msg. I tried calling again and the phone was no longer in svc. This was $80 worth of food w/a $12 tip!
This is why I have always been hesitant to use DD or any other food delivery service. I am so disappointed and $93 short.
Desired outcome: I would like to receive a refund.

On Monday Afternoon on 2/7/22 at McDonald's in Buckeye Az on 587 S Watson Rd. Around 12:40pm . I believe She is an Employee of Door Dash was very disrespectful towards my 75 year old Mothand I. McDonald's has new kiosk to order. My mother couldn't figure out how to work it and wanted to speak to A Manager. That's when The Employee said learn how to use it, in A Rude voice. I said excuse me, She said I'm not talking to you. I said to her older people don't understand technology. I have her plate number if that helps.
Stay Away
Because of Door Dash - I will NEVER attempt to order food with them and will make it a point to share my experience with everyone if they even use the word "Delivery" around me!

Their customer service is the WORST I have ever encountered. I placed an order that included 2 soft drinks for a price of $3.99 each. The receipt door dash provided showed the total charge for the drinks was $7.98. But the total on the receipt (before taxes, fees and tip) had the price for these 2 drinks as $15.96. After spending 3 HOURS on their messenger app they still insisted the total charged was correct. I will never use them for any deliveries again!
Tom Thumb Deliveries with alcohol - Door Dash taking pictures of drivers licenses on personal cell phones
OK - is it me, or does anyone else have a problem with Tom Thumbs deliveries that contain alcohol and use DoorDash that requires you to not only show their delivery person your driver's license but then allow them to take a picture of it - on what appears to be a personal cell phone? I'm not OK with it. And I'm not racist either - but these the past 4 out 7 seven delivery people have not been able to speak a single word of English. I refused to allow a picture today and the person sat in my driveway for quite a bit - until I got a call from DoorDash - not Tom Thumb. The person that called me actually only spoke 5 words of English - "she say you won't sign." It wasn't about signing anything. It was about allowing someone to photograph my driver's license. They could easily use the information for identity theft. I recommend that you do not allow this either. This was an approximate $500 order to my home in FlowerMound, TX at 9:15 am today, January 31, 2022.
Desired outcome: If Tom Thumb continues to use DoorDash for deliveries - they need to stop saying that they require taking a picture of you driver's license. It would also be nice if the delivery person spoke at least some level English.
Double dash if it involves alcohol
I ordered a meal from DoorDash and paid. The it gave me the option to pick up some more items from a convenience store on the way. I wanted wine and it asked me to upload my ID. I did and it verified that I was old enough. But it would not let me use my IPay. It kept acting like I had entered my payment information instead of my ID and kept saying my payment method was invalid. I tried it numerous times. The I contacted customer support by IM and they were extremely unhelpful. Then someone from customer service apparently tried to call me at 2:00 a. m in the morning. Worst CS ever
Desired outcome: Someone should have been able to help me when I used IM feature But they had no idea and were not understanding what I was talking about
DOORDASH/ CUSTOMER/ Keeping money
so i ordered some food today from taco la villa, by the time I got my items from the driver, some items were missing, so when I called the customer care rep, she told me they will not be giving me a refund on items that were missing, umm hello, I paid for it!, o yes a customer should get back what they paid for it!, even if its lousy credit! Every month I pay for a dash and still get this nonsense, I want my money back for missing items. and doordash needs to be investigated or do something different!

It is extremely alarming to know that a well-known business is not able to provide simple documents that provide simple information about a dashes work habit in earnings. I have been waiting two weeks, although I've been told by two separate Dash support employees within 24 to 48 hours I'd be situated with my statements & personal information to be sent to me. It's disgusting and deplorable.
Doordash doesn't pay dashers!
s I received an email to complete 15 dashes for an extra $200. Naturally, I dashed out! The status bar tracked my trips and DoorDash didn't pay me! The help department claims to know nothing of the promotion until I forwarded the email. Then they said the promotion takes 5 business days to payout. At 5 business days with a tracking/ticket number, nobody knows what I'm talking about. Now the issue has been escalated with my supplying my date of birth, last four to my license, dash date and amount of last payout and when I signed up to become a Dasher! All of this is information they have. I supplied it and haven't heard anything. DON'T DASH AND DON'T USE DOORDASH THEY DON'T PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES.

I ordered from the Easthampton dunkin' donuts but the order was placed at chicopee two towns over this was door dashes fault. They are not offering me a refund so I guess I will go through with it as a resturant and delivery service reviewer however not sure if I can give Door Dash a gud review online but definitely will give u as driver a gud review. Driver ran in to our garage door
On December 21st my grandaughter ordered food from Door Dash in Brooklyn Park, MN. The driver backed in to our garage door and now the whole door needs to be replaced. We have had a car trapped in there since that date. Filed a complaint . with door dash and they do not respond. We have over $2, 200 in damages and it is unsafe to leave this garage door as is.

I have someone coming on Wednesday January 12th to get a new garage door. I do not have the money to pay for all of this and they will not help.

I ordered a pizza driver delivered to the wrong house she refused to pick it up and redeliver it. She claimed google map waste fault I asked her what address she had she said once delivered she doesn't all info disappears. I find this all hard to believe she could have easily called the restaurant to find out the address she refused to do that also. She threw herself under the bus before I even called her on the number she used when she dropped off the pizza she called door dash to tell them she went to the wrong address. Doordash had already gave us a credit when I was testing with them they gave us another credit of $10.00 she had reported her mistake. I called the restaurant 11 minutes before closing only to be told this was the 5th time this driver delivered to the wrong address owner apologized. Who is tending the store at door dash?
