DoorDash My complaint is how they read the alcohol verification

My complaint concerns service and the way different folks understand the alcohol deliveries. They had us scan our ids up into the app. when viewing the image, it indicates 'verified' and And has... Your Dasher will match you to the photo your provided...

So, I went to the door no id in hand as I have had alcohol delivered many times. The guy demanded my id and looked at me like I was the rude one! Called Customer support and was told someone would get back to me today. That did not happen so I called.

The guy tells me "they are having training because you are correct." I demanded a supervisor and he tells me I am wrong! So, they say I am a VIP.. I am done with the support-less bunch! They are not the only deliveries in town. Thanks

Desired outcome: Validate me or change the verbiage on the id in the app

DoorDash Delivery and customer service

Door Dash provided terrible service and refused to take responsibility.
1. Not only did my order never arrive, but worse, the driver sent a text to claim that he had delivered it.
2. The driver did not answer the phone when called by Door Dash, and he apparently didn't call Door Dash back when they left a message with him. It is one thing if a driver is late-- this is understandable. It is another when the driver goes AWOL, and apparently lies about having delivered the meal. And it's still worse if the company refuses to take responsibility as a matter of company policy.
3. Door Dash customer service kept me in the phone 40 minutes, placing me on hold 4 times.
4. Door Dash refused to take responsibility. They said it was up to me to call the restaurant to ask for a refund. But it wasn't the restaurant's fault-- I had already confirmed from the restaurant that the driver had picked up my meal. I gave Door Dash several opportunities to make things right, even speaking with the supervisor (who was totally unhelpful).
5. The restaurant manager told me he suspects the driver just stole my food. We heard at the restaurant that another Door Dash driver had shown up there a couple months ago with two dogs, who ate the order!
6. As company policy Door Dash won't give refunds even if the driver fails to deliver the meal. They hide behind an excuse that they don't have payment details. When offered the payment details so they can credit the credit card, they refuse. They also refuse to send a check or give another credit. So even if the problem is due Door Dash's negligence, they expect the customer to spend the customer's time and energy to ask the restaurant for a refund. They won't even refund their own delivery fees. This is even if the restaurant was not at fault and even if the order is very late. Amazing. Restaurants are losing their own goodwill by entrusting food delivery to Door Dash. They ought to drop Door Dash and find a reputable food delivery provider.

Desired outcome: Door Dash Resta customers should drop Door Dash. Restaurant customers should not order from restaurants that rely on Door Dash.

DoorDash food delivery

On Oct. 27th 2021 I ordered food from Buffalo Wild Wings in Arlington, Tx. The order was late coming and delivered to the wrong house. I had to search each door step to find my order. The food was cold by that time. I waited so long to report this because I was in the hospital for a heart operation, and I also didn't know how to report this. DoorDash Delivery

So I'm waiting for my order to arrive and watching the driver gps in real-time. Watched him go past our house and turn down a lane one house away then proceeded to go to the end of the lane which is shared with 6+ homes, so it's pretty long(a good 300 feet at least). I get a text from the driver saying he can't find the address. (Our house number is posted in 4 different places) When I try to call or text him back it says "unavailable ". I'm just about to go outside and wave him in I get a text from DoorDash saying that the driver was instructed to leave the food in a secure area at the address. My husband went out and down the lane he found our food sitting under a mailbox that was 7 numbers past ours, sitting in the dirt lane. Not even at someone's house, it was just sitting on the side of the road!
If I had not been watching the gps real-time there's no chance in hell that we would have thought to look that far away from our home! We have never had anyone else say they couldn't find us and we get delivery ALOT.
I was so angry I just told DoorDash we didn't get the food and made them refund us.

DoorDash CPK through door dash

Ordered 11 meals and they only delivered 7 and one of those was with wrong meat on a salad. Took half hour to talk to someone from India telling me I would get a partial refund and they would still deliver the missing meals. Then they texted and cancelled everything. I've never been so let down and abused by a business. Whole evening was ruined with only half of my guests eating

[call and chat at least three times, till not yet process the debit to my account, I ordered groceries at Safeway and use Doordash for deliver the groceries.]

2. I have at least 5 times people tried to intrude my Doordash account to make order, two times succeeded, I reported to Doordash and got it back total over $250. 3. The other 3 time not succeed. I changed my debit card, and changed my password since then.

4. And the portal chat box has a new button that can linked to customer file explorer, and I do not think is okay. I prefer use the button "attached file" instead.
5. I like the refund system though, it is fast, but you have to use the cost value at doordash, I think it is there system, like the store item cost always changed?
6. I depended on Doordash, like instacart's delivery can only handle purchase around $10 - $50, other over that amount, they can not handle it.

I think DOORDASH has to close down, due to the recent news of their delivery people action in the public trash bin. PLEASE SHUT DOWN now. OR change the name of something, The delivery person poohed the being in a public trash bin by pulling his or her shirt up. THIS STAFF IS INSANE, please stop virus. DoorDash service and health issues

July 23 2021 i ordered food one it all came cold and 2 i almost choked on a hidden toothpick inside one of the chicken taquitos i was talking to someone and they couldnt refund me due to me having problems with previous orders. i dont understand how they can but a limit on how many times you can get a refund if the order is wrong its wrong. and that isnt my fault but the place or the driver who forgot or took to long and food is cold. and most of the time reheating makes food worse or not edible. This was just one of many times i havnt been issued a refund and deserved at least some credit back. i also was a doordash pass holder but canceled that since this company doesnt seem to understand how to treat peoples concerns.

Desired outcome: i want a refund for this meal it was $106

DoorDash My order tonight from mcdonalds

Worst service ever. I did not get my large French fries. I did not get my BBQ dipping sauce. I did not get my 2 straws

The driver says I am out of luck because he is busy

I AM STILL HUNGRY AND NEED MY LARGE FRIES. I don't want the money back. I want the fries. This store in Cicero is excellent

I am STARVED. Please have my fries delivered ASAP and remove the tip from my order

The dasher has no control over what is in the bag that is the restaurants responsibility. The bags are sealed and we deliver the sealed bags. We do not make and bag orders. Your beef is with Mcdonalds.

Just letting ya know as an active dasher with over 3 thousand deliveries we are told by doordash company if the restaurant forgets an item or whatnot there is nothing the dasher can do about it we aren't even allowed to open bags and check to see if order is correct anymore however you will definitely be reimbursed fully and more for your troubles I understand it's easy to blame the dasher however in this case he was literally just doing what he's told to do i will usually go out of my way and call doordash support for the customer so they don't have to. Even though it means more wasted time on a job where you get paid basically nothing unless tipped of course but even when I'm not tipped a dime which is almost half of the time I still go above and beyond however possible but expecting the doordasher to drive back to the restaurant and get whatever item the RESTAURANT forgot and then to take it back to your house for nothing is absurd doordash refunds you whatever item they forgot as well as extra compensation for the hassle when it's the restaurant who is 100% at fault I think is more than fair but you can't please everyone no matter how hard ya try...

My name is Julio Wright and I need file a complaint toward doordash driver named () for committing larceny 6th in further stating that my order was delivered when it was never received.

My door dash account e-mail is ju.[protected]@mailfence.com and my telephone number associated with my account is: 860-4##-4#$#.

This on regards Order Number: 1457034389 which was placed for McDonald's (13568-CROMWELL II), on 2/27/2021 around 8:41 pm. (see attachment

The order consisted of 1 20 McNuggets & 2 Medium Fries $6.01 1 Coke® $2.59 3 Hamburger $3.57 Subtotal $12.17 Tax $1.07 Delivery $0.99 Service fee $1.46 Dasher tip $0.00 which resulted in the total amount of $15.69. (see attachment)

While the order was on the way to be delivered. I was assigned to had ( ) as my delivery driver. The driver I noticed was going in the wrong direction off the Door dash GPS tracker so I had decided to had left several text messages to this driver so that they would be able to locate me. The driver was hostile in their responses and stated that they know how to get here but still was proceeding in wrong direction off the GPS tracker.

I later then decided to had called the driver upon whom had acted hostile and stated to me that they were on their way to my residence and then decided to had hang up the phone on me.

As of 2/27/2021 I had never received my order. I believe the driver was motivated to had stolen my food and marked it as delivered as a result of them being unable to locate my residence.

I need an angency's help ensure that I receive a refund from Doordash on this order since I had never received my order.

DoorDash Delivering meals ordered online.

A week ago we ordered two meals from Applebee's be delivered by DoorDash. About two minutes after the scheduled delivery time I got a text from the driver telling me he had a flat tire and would be here in 10 minutes. Twenty-five minutes later I texted him and he said he needed another 10 minutes. I said that the food would be cold and he need not deliver.

The next day the Applebee's manager was very helpful and also complained to DoorDash. I had already answered the DoorDash request for feedback with my failing grade for non delivery. Later that day I got an inquiry from DoorDash which asked for more information. I answered. The next day I got another email inquiry asking for more information. Again I answered. The next day I received an email saying they were sorry for my experience but it was too late for them to compensate us. I replied that I had filed immediately and I should receive their compensation. Again I got the same reply about being too late. I tried one more time and got the same response. The Applebee's manager gave us the food we had ordered and told us that DoorDash was difficult to work with! That's for sure!

DoorDash DoorDash not honoring coupons emailed to customers

I receive emails from DoorDash with promo codes. Tried using one (15% off next 2 orders) meeting all specifications in the email. System popped back something about not being in the area. I chatted with a customer service rep, who asked for screenshot of email. Email self-destructed. It was on the screen of my phone, and then poof! It disappeared. Seems DoorDash is using dishonest tactics.

DoorDash Refund of Money

Good evening,

I have had issues with orders in the past. The problem I experienced on 1/22/2021 was the last straw. I placed an order with China East on Buckner Blvd in Virginia Beach, VA. I entered the time I wanted the delivery to be made as 5:30 pm. For some unknown reason, the time was saved as 8:00 pm. I tried to change the time with the restaurant and was told I needed to get in touch with DoorDash. I did an online chat with someone who told me it wasn't possible to get my money back even though a dasher hadn't been assigned to me. I called the restaurant back and canceled the order with the restaurant. Someone from DoorDash called me and I confirmed that I had canceled the order and told him not to process payment. After a few minutes of discussion, I was assured that since I canceled with the restaurant, my charge through DoorDash would be canceled. I was still charged $41.37. So, I immediately canceled my subscription with your company. The next day, I had a charge of $9.99 for the next month's subscription. That is a total of $51.36 that needs to be refunded to me. I have tried multiple times to do an online chat but never could get through.

DoorDash Food delivery

Don't use them - no customer service in usa, no refunds when you report missing items and food issues, and they will after using them for alot of times, block you from ever receiving reimbursement.

Tony xu the founder and 2 other [censored], rake in $16 billion dollars in revenue from the delivery business.

He does not care about the loyal customer using it for 2.5 years and 2-3 times a day for inhome delivery.

So, again don't use door dash, if you want to speak to india or philapines or s. America, they do not employ usa help.

DoorDash Poor service and lack of proper credits.

My business used my personal Door dash account. We had 4 orders in a row of missing items or complete wrong order being received. I when a complaint was filed on each order, the refunds became less and less. Two of the credits/refund given did not cover the price of the food items. An example a sandwich I was charged $6.75 for, I only received a credit of $2.75. The item was not received at all. But Door dash would not refund the full price. But I was wrong for becoming upset and requesting a full refund. They have now deactivated my account and anyone that uses my home/business address.

DoorDash dasher driver app/ deactivation

I was having numerous issues with the app since the last update. My ratings have been up to standards. When I did the new update I started having issues with accepting orders, completing them, or the orders coming through on a text message but not on the app. I went to the doordash website to follow the trouble shooting steps. Tried to dash again same issues. I had to call 3 times to confirm the delivery drop off. I than called doordash to explain the issue and my ratings are dropping. While on hold they deactivate my account. I have sent proof to them. Called numerous times. How can we be held accountable for keeping are ratings at standards if the app is malfunctioning. I have been trying to get this resolved the past 4 days and not one person has responded to my issue. This is unacceptable. How can you solve a problem with no communication. My daughter has even seen what the app does. But still I get ignored and no response. When I did everything properly according to the website help site.

DoorDash food delivery

I ordered a $150 + celebratory dinner to celebrate my release from the hospital invited my girlfriend over after I've been in several months recovering from pneumonia and ordered what I thought would be a great dinner for Black Angus it was surf and turf prime rib and lobster and boy what a disappointment the order was poorly cooked over it was overcooked Lobster was okay didn't deliver the desert that we paid for didn't bring any chance allows didn't bring any plates it was late and delivery and didn't bring the au jus sauce for the prime rib which was a major faux pas I mean that ruined it right there then we had like two like lava cakes there was supposed to have ice cream with them no such luck that was half of the you know of the taste of the so that was completely botched drinks were melted order arriving late and what makes it worse and what makes this totally unacceptable and it's going to drive me to use ubereats from now on so these guys so I use a lot I was a good customer response response that said thank you for your input and will we're looking for ways to improve our service or some crap like that I spent $150 dinner I would expect it to be done right and if it wasn't I would expect you guys to stand behind your customer but you didn't that's embarrassing and a customer service terrible terrible
