I just found out that I could file a complaint against a dasher on this site. I am filing a complaint against the Dasher Ammar, because on November 27th, at 5:30 PM, I placed an express delivery order from a local pizza shop through DoorDash. My apartment is on the fourth floor, so I left detailed instructions that the Dasher had to ring my buzzer. I seriously hurt my back and use a cane or walker, and can not do the stairs safely. I received a text at 5:42 letting me know that my order had been picked up. I received another text at 5:47 that he was approaching with my order. I finally checked my order statue at 6:00, and it showed that my order had been delivered. I did not even know that my order had been delivered, because he did not ring my buzzer, or call me, he just placed my order in the entryway of my apartment building, and left. I called customer service to report that my directions were not followed, and that it was a safety issue, so it was necessary that the Dasher followed my delivery instructions, I was unable to get my order. I was given a refund for the total amount to use on my next order.
Desired outcome: Dasher should be suspended or fired. I am sure I am not the only customer that he has done this to.
