DoorDash Google Map vs WISE Map

Google has several pitfalls for delivery services which limits production for doordash and delivers cold food overall to the customers. Two examples are A) Google/Google map has an in place policy to favor underprivileged neighborhoods. So when doordash adjoins Google, merchant are very far away from customer and are found in underprivileged places. For example, Yum Yums Chinese (Southeast DC) food is triangulated for a customer in Upper Marlboro whereas Upper Marlboro, Maryland has 20 Yum Yums in that city. These two places are very far away, overpaying the dasher for miles and the order is cold thereafter.

Second example is that Google Map overlooks Burger King and “very common” merchants and send dashers 20 miles outside their zones whereas BK was 2 miles from their closest BK.

D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area have unethical speed and red light cameras (i.e., unmarked speed limit signs). These are ok and mentally mapped by a dasher familiar with the area. However, when Google Map is used to erroneously triangulate Burger King and similar merchants to dashers far outside their zones, dasher will decline based on them extending into distant zones, cold food, zero tips because orders late all based on doordashes choice in using a faulty Map.

Desired outcome: Resolve, do not use Google Map to triangulate the merchant to the dasher to the customer.Dashers can use apple, I am suggesting that doordash to stop using their default Google Map in doordash business models.

DoorDash Merchant payment

I am a very small business and Doordash stopped sending me my payments on 8/29 today is now 9/14. I received nothing but excuses, blame to a third party and still have not received my funds. My account "specialist" has mis-represented the situation numerous times stating that STRIPE is the reason. I have spoken directly to STRIPE, they have done nothing to suspend my account and that in fact they have received nothing from DD to process. I am now 2 weeks plus with no payment. I have received emails from my "specialist" that are unprofessional, addressing me as "Hey" Teresa, requesting specific information that was provided then telling me that the information provided wasn't acceptable EVEN THOUGH she clearly stated in her email that it was. Well as soon as I spoke with STRIPE and got the truth, she called me and told me that my account was fixed but she had to re-send my payments and it would take another week to receive my money. Well that is unacceptable and to top everything off, she failed to process over half of my payments. We are talking about over $3,000.00 which for my small business is devastating. I am officially requesting a phone call from Corporate to explain why this happened and what they are going to do to make this right.

DoorDash BJ’s Fort Lauderdale delivery, missing an item

Young lady by name Shaniqwa (not sure is her real name) made delivery and after she sped up, I realized that item was missing. Of scammers never leave a source of contacting them, because when they deliver there is way to trace this thief. My advise to future victims of DoorHub, don’t trust their fake smiles and sweet [censored] talk. Make sure every item is delivered.

DoorDash Service

The driver contacted me that @803pm and he said that he would be here soon as possible. I looked at the app and he stated that he was at another order. That’s fine, i understand that, but now the app says 922 est time. All I order was two blizzards from Dairy Queen. My ice cream will be melted. This is crazy! That means I have been waiting for 1hr and some mins to get a blizzard! I’m just passed!

DoorDash Deactivation department

Hi I was a dasher, [protected] my phone number attached to my account. On Sunday evening I was unable to log into my dasher account and was told it was deactivated. I called the company to find out why…. I’ve talked to 5 different agents and not a one can explain to me why I was deactivated. I was told it’s confidential; which makes no sense since I’m the person in question?!? Anyway, I did receive a form email telling me that my appeal was rejected. However I would like to know what I did wrong that I was essentially fired as one of your dashers! I was enjoying dashing and had a good acceptance rate. I feel very frustrated that there is no reason for this and I have only received a form email.

Desired outcome: I’d like to be reinstated as a dasher

DoorDash Order was late

On September the 3 I ordered a pizza from Piezanos Pizza and Im looking on the map seeing when my order would arrive after it left the store. Im looking on the map and the drivers 10 mins away and it goes from 10mins to an extra 20 - 25min from the original time I get my order and its cold. Afterwards, I proceeded to contact doordash explain to customer service that my order was late and cold. Two days later I get a email at 12am-1am saying I didn't respond and if I had any other concerns contact customer service which made I was confused because I had already explained what happened. And then I received another email stating that I would receive $6.94 which with no explanation. When I paid $29.92 on the meal. And now today Sept.6,2022 I receive a refund for $6.94 which was far off from what I paid and very insulting.

Desired outcome: $6.94

DoorDash not being reimburse for orders i paid for

please call me i've tried too many times and sent receipt too many need real help your help people ask for me to pay for 4 different times cause your system was down you show you gave me order and pictures showing I got them ther and you paid me for that my wife sent you copies I did you even e mailed saying you got but need bank account ssnumber drivers number address and more your own policy state you will not ask for this plus the info you ask for you already have something not right and I gave you times all you had to do is check red card for the amounts and time to see you didn’t pay for them plus one of you supposed supervisor haug up on me

DoorDash Order Delivered aand left on the floor outside of the bulding

On September 1, 2022, at approximately 9:15 a.m. I placed and ordered from BJs to be delivered to my mother's apartment - she is disabled. I stated on the delivery order to make sure the delivery person has his/her own cart to bring the food to her apartment (she lives on the 5th floor of a senior building that has elevators).

When the delivery person, Andre arrived he texted me that he needed a shopping cart. I told him to go to my mother's apartment and get it from my mother's aide. He texted that the aide should bring it down to him - I told him that she was unable to bring it to him because she was taking care of my mother as she does in the morning, and that he should go up, and get it - he asked if the building had an elevator - I told him yes.

He texted back that it was not his job to bring the food upstairs.

After the last text, I didn't hear from him anymore and assumed that the food was delivered. at approximately 10:40 my mother's aide called and was wondering what happened to the food because the food was never delivered.

The a few minutes later the building security called the aide and mentioned that some food was left outside of the building on the ground. When the aide came downstairs, there were food items left outside the building on the ground - including bread. She immediately began to pick up the items and brought what was left of the food inside the building. She went upstairs and got the shopping cart to bring the remainder of the food upstais - this is a rather large building. She did not know what was ordered and what could have been taken.

I also received an email from building services about the food that was left on the ground outside. They stated that the delivery person was angry and did not know who the groceries should go to.

This delivery person was rude and had the audacity to leave my mother's food on the ground outside of the building. No one knew exactly how long the food was left outside and if any of it had been taken by someone walking into or outside of the building.

I immediately call Doordash and was transferred to three different people to eventually be told that since I ordered directly from BJs, that the incident would have to be reported to them, and they had a special department for orders. I spoke to John - he gave me a case number and a telephone number. The phone number he gave me was [protected]. When I called - no one answered - it is BJs general number - it is not a dedicated number. I was not able to get through to anyone on the number given.

I found a customer service number for BJs on my own and called it. The person I spoke to listened and said that the order would be sent. However nothing ever happened - they did not reach out to me again.

Desired outcome: I would like the delivery person to be reprimanded, tip returned. Apology from DoorDash

DoorDash Customer service

09/03

I placed a $60 order and was promised at 1158. The dasher could not find her way here, then her phone required a signature and would not let me sign. I had to call customer service to be able to sign it. This took 30 minutes. My food is cold, made the dasher late for her next delivery and was told that they could not compensate. They have messed up so many orders and I have gotten compensated for some of them but it’s not my fault they messed up. DoorDash customer support took me in circles and did not resolve the problem. I will be using Uber eats from now on. This is absolutely unacceptable.

DoorDash Order never arrived

This is the exact email I have sent to Door Dash:

I AM FURIOUS!

YOU say you offer a delivery service and you do not even you that!

You are pathetic!

I placed an order on Sat 3rd Sept 2022 and it not only never arrived, but the so-called 'dasher' left it on my doorstep and emailed it to me to state it had arrived. Yet, long and behold, I went out there immediately and it was NOT THERE!

The 'dasher' had stole it!

This is totally unacceptable and you should be ashamed of yourselves.

I WANT MY MONEY BACK AND A REFUND IMMEDIATELY

AND

I WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM YOU EVER AGAIN, NOT EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, EVER!

YES, I AM ANGRY.

Angry, for you stealing my money .

Angry, for you saying you offer a service when you don't .

Angry, for you saying you have trustworthy employees when you clearly do not.

This is deplorable and you should be ashamed of yourself. (okay, I already said that, but it is true. I know, and everyone else I know says so too, which indicate the reason why the majority of your customers have home to Menulog or Uber eats.)

On that note, that is where I shall be ordering from, from now on.

The last note,

I WANT A REFUND!

AND, I WILL BE TAKING THIS MATTER AS FAR AS I CAN GO WITH EVERY POSSIBLE AUTHORITY

Trust me, that is what is going to happen.

DoorDash Food

I have been using door dash for the past 2 1/2 years due to the pandemic.

The last time I used Door dash was on Friday August 26, 2022 and I ordered from smart and final. A few of the items were spoiled and rotten so I called numerous times to Door dash to report this issue. I requested a refund for the few items but was denied. I was first told that yes I will compensation then a few minutes later I received an email that I was denied any compensation due to too many refunds in the past.

Desired outcome: Some compensation for the 5 items that were spoiled and rotten.

DoorDash Canceling an order / not being credited for missing food.

Was charged twice for an order. I contacted support and they said that I will be credited for the 1st amount. I ask why I was charged more then I approved. She informed me that I had special request which was to leave an item off and replace it with something else. I requested to cancel the order; she then informed me I would only get the tip amount & tax back. So, I am being charged for a meal I wasn't going to receive. I told her to let the order come. This isn't the 1st time this has happened I also requested help for missing food. I was told they'd let the store know, So once again I paid for food, I didn't get NOR did I get help from your company to refund my money.

If this is how you're going to do your customers than maybe the next step is to contact the BBB !

Desired outcome: would like to be able to receive a refund for the mistakes I've paid for. From missing food, paying full price for a pizza and given the wrong size, cold food from Mcdonalds & now this one.

DoorDash Lauren Lahrman

I believe this woman works for you, as she claims to online. She is a vile human being. Spewing nothing but hate, ESPECIALLY for God's chosen people, the Jewish, who have suffered enough without her harassment! How dare you have this woman work for you, her simply touching our food makes it unkosher and I am astonished someone would let this happen. 0 customer service. Disgusting.

DoorDash Driving for doordash

Doordash will commonly have 'app malfunctions' in which the drivers will do the driving and complete the orders and then either not get paid at all or just a fraction of what they said they would pay. On a bad day a driver can spend more on gas than doordash will pay even though they say they will pay more. This company lives off of slavery and is pure evil

Desired outcome: put them all in prison would be a good start but at least pay the drivers what you said you would

DoorDash Terminate this individual

I recently stumbled upon one of your Doordashers who livestreams and publicizes that she works for you. I have some major concerns regarding her behavior as one of your long time customers.

Her name is Lauren Lahrman, and she works for you in Los Angeles. I will be including some links to her bizarre, and abusive behavior and ask if she is an accurate representation of your company. If she is, I will ask that you immediately cancel and close my account.

Warning, her behavior and words are not safe for children:

I do not live in California. I live in Florida. I do not currently, nor have I ever, worked at Doordash.

This person is very vindictive and I feel bad for them.

DoorDash Non delivered product

Good Afternoon,

The information below is not correct. If you look into the order you will see not only was the address correct, but I asked that the order be left with me. I immediately contacted DoorDash to inform them my order has not been received. I need proof of delivery as I have asked for several times. So far that request has gone unanswered. Please refund my $118.57 Chick-fil-A (04083) for an order I never received.

DoorDash Dashing

No way to contact door dash while driving...I get these messages telling me i am not going in the correct direction...even tho I am following the map. No way to respond...this has been happening all the past two weeks, today I get to location for pick up and the order is cancelled. Completely wasting my time getting to location, again, similar messages saying i am not driving to location.

The biggest problem is that there is no way for me to respond to these messages, because it appears to be an app issue on your end, because I am going in the direction of what map says.

Then I can't contact anyone after either, and eventually found this place to make my complaint.

Today I am going to download uber eats, hopefully they dont have the same issues with being able to contact dasher for problems.

DoorDash Customer service is trash.

Had a safety issue with my order on top of it being stone cold . Got a hold of customer service though chat and the guy was rude . He didn't want to answer my question when I asked him why and then just closed the chat . Got the same attitude when I called the female agent sounded like she didn't want to be bothered with this and just transferred me to a "higher up" only to have him tell me he can't do anything but send in a report . Meanwhile his dog was practically barking in my ear the whole time.

DoorDash Delivery order from firehouse subs athens, georgia

My food was cold, soggy and the bacon was missing on my order today august 14th,2022 between 7pm-8pm

my food was cold due to being prepared as soon as the order was placed but it was not picked up unitl almost a hour later, this location is literally less than a mile up the road from delivery address. The order was not prepared properly but door dash charged for bacon that was not on the sandwich.

Desired outcome: APPROPRIATE REFUNDS WITHOUT ALL THE EXTRA CHARGES TO EAT UP THE CREDITS ISSUED TO ACCOUNTS WITH SUCH HUGE MISTAKES
