Items not received but paid for; customer service refuses to reimburse
I’ve gone round after round with your customer service, simply trying to get reimbursed for an item I paid for but never received. I attempted to handle this online but your system apparently has some issues that prevented me from successfully submitting a complaint. I immediately contacted the restaurant directly and spoke with the Manager who acknowledged that I didn’t receive part of my order. The Manager promised to refund directly to the card I used, and advised that he would also send me a free gift card ($10) for the inconvenience. Not only did I not get reimbursed but never received the gift card. I finally contacted your customer support and advised; I was told “I’ve had too many reimbursements”, and there was nothing that would be done to resolve this issue. First I want to impress upon your company, that if a customer gets reimbursed, it’s because your company or one of the many restaurants using your services have failed to provide the service expected or product paid for by the customer. Keeping the customer’s money and not providing the product is Theft! My reference number is [protected].

Doordasher stole food
Driver is seen on my Ring taking photo, then walking away with order. I called him, no answer. Called again, and he picked up. I told him I saw him on camera steal my order and hung up. He came back with the order, several minutes later (after I had already requested a replacement order be delivered INSTEAD of a refund). He said “Ashley?” My name is Harley, says so on my account. Then handed off my order and started cursing and being loudly disrespectful after he got a couple steps away. Very frustrating getting cold food, now having the same exact order redelivered…and if I cancel I cannot get a refund. Very upsetting experience. I left a $5.50 tip too, for him to be so rude and try to steal my meal.

On August 12th 2022 I was charge for food I did not order, when contacting my bank they stated they could not do anything because my account has been closed due to compromised account ,In return I contacted door dash and they stated they would refund my money of $106.73 I stated thank you and they explained they would refund to account / card used when order was placed I explained to them they could not refund on the account that the funds was taking out of because it was closed ,they did anyway which bank declined ,talking to door dash again they said they would not refund again ,I told them it was declined from bank and they stated there was nothing they could do , in turn I stated so your telling me I will not get refund ,they said no .I have never been a door dash customer nor will I ever be ,so now I am out of the $106.73 that I did not authorized the transaction , I cannot believe for one second they would refund to an closed account then tell me I will not get my refund I work hard for my money and struggle every week to make ends meet I need this money refunded ,I have cancer and this is taking its toll on me .I have been fighting this issue since August ,I do not know where else to turn please help solve this issue

I ordered some food from Grill’d kotara at 5:20 with an email saying I would receive my order at 5:52pm. My order number is 49bfe67. The person who was supposed to pick up my order was Bhoemen, their number is +[protected]. At 5:52 there was no order delivered. I called Bhoemen at 5:58. The number was disconnected. I called Grill’d at 6:06pm. They said the delivery had been picked up. I checked the tracker and the person who was picking up my order had changed. I was called back by Grill’d Kotara at 6:15 advising the original delivery person (Bhoemen) had picked up the order and then cancelled the delivery. Stealing my food. I’m appalled by this behaviour. I hope disciplinary action can be taken. Grill’d recooked my food and another person delivered it. This was over an hour after it was supposed to have bee. Delivered. I look forward to hearing from you.
Desired outcome: Disciplinary action to Bhoemen as this is unexceptable behaviour as an employee. A refund for the food that we waited an hour for.
never got full order/order made wrong
ordered food from door dash. driver forgot my bottled water and food was made wrong. complained to door dash customer service and got a foreigner on the phone with broken english . they had me on hold 25 minutes, said they would refund never did! that was the last door dash order from me. SUBWAY took no responsibility blamed door dash. You lost me as a customer both companies!

had a food order through subway on north main street in bristol ct.
my sandwich was made wrong, never received the bottled water i ordered.
i stopped delivery guy and complained where was bottled water? driver said you need to complain to the restaurant. Called subway girl said door dash needed to handle complaint they were supposed to check the order upon taking it.
i spent 25 minutes on the door dash toll free number was told would get a refund i never saw it they stated would go to my email.

Door dash drivers.
Doordashers are signing up under friends accounts because they themselves won’t pass a background check. I have had very sketchy people who are obviously intoxicated bring my food. It is very scary as a single woman to order door dash and be expecting a woman because that’s what the account is under have an impaired man at my door.
Security measures need to be in place so that every person delivering food is who they say they are and have passed a background check.
Desired outcome: Door dashers required to have legal name that they are unable to change in their account and require a headshot photo.
Refuse to refund my funds
On August 12th 2022 I noticed a charge on my bank account from door dash for $106.73, I called the bank there was nothing they could do because my account had been closed due to it being hacked and charges I never made were made. They stated I have to contact door dash which I did they were happy to refund my refund, I told them the account had been closed so you can not refund to that account, she stated we have to refund were charges were made, I told them I am not door dash customer nor will I ever be, Every time I call I get no where with my refund, they keep telling me there is nothing they could do, I stated why would you refund money on an bank account that had been closed? They had no answers for me and still don't all I want is to have my refund sent to new account, I have been fighting this since August, I am not the only one this situation has been so profound. They say they cannot refund to different account, I am just blown away with the nonsense of not refunding to new account. I have stage 2 cancer this stress I can not deal with. Their business practice is not up to standards with refunds, especially when your not a customer, And obviously they have no regards when people get their accounts compromised. DoorDash not honoring prices advertised
DoorDash cancelled shopping transactions rather than honor accidental price they advertised on website. Then they erased entire transaction from my dashboard on their website. When they canceled the transaction, they said it was because items were unavailable but I was in communication with the dasher who assured me the items were all there. The store was Safeway.
Desired outcome: They should honor advertised prices.
Leon's BBQ
• 2022-09-29 ordered at 8:40pm and recieved food around 10:15 or 10:30. I was okay with the delivery because Leon's was due to close at 9pm.
I gave 2-stars strictly for the delivery person for delivering it in a timely manner and a friendly smile.
I paid $36.00 for 2 orders of mini tips. Unfortunately the food looked as if it was scraped from the bottom of the pan, small hard crumbs crusted black on one side. There was not even one (1) rib tip present in either order.
I believe we were given the part that gets thrown away.
We want to support you but you have got to make a drastic change.
Don't just throw anything at your customers. Don't you care?

Dairy Queen pricing
I was looking at the Dairy Queen menu on your app. I noticed that a single taco was $2.06 but 3 tacos is $7.19. Shouldn't the price be less expensive the more you buy?
It's bad enough that almost every order I place with Doordash has something wrong. But over charging for 3 tacos isn't right. It makes me wonder what else you're overcharging on. Please fix this.

I live in a condo and every time I order food that is delivered via DoorDash, the drivers never bring it to my door. Even though I include the very simple instructions to enter the building "press 515 at entrance", no driver ever has. I am paying for the order to be delivered to my door, not in the lobby three steps down from the street. I am very very disappointed with your company's level of service. So disheartening. What if I was handicapped? If people leave instructions on how to deliver your provider's' products, they should be followed. It's simple. No other service has consistently ignored delivery instructions as much as yours.
Desired outcome: I hope you retrain your drivers to pay attention to people's needs... it's called customer service.

One of your drivers almost hit me as I was crossing the street with the right of way. He was driving fast and probably on his phone and did not even stop while I was crossing. I went to the sidewalk and saw that he parked on the right side and got out of his car and went into the same restaurant as me to pick up food and identify himself as a Door Dash driver. I was going to confront him, but he avoided me, and I did not wanted to have an argument with him but I am still scared about the incident. The place where he picked up the food was El Paisa Happy Chicken, 119 Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, NJ 07104 at about 4pm. He was a white male with glasses and a hat.

Delivery drivers (Ton & Joanne)
I work at the hospital where food was ordered by an employee (not me). When delivered by tony, he stood at nurses station for 25 minutes complaining because he only got a $2.25 tip. After finally leaving, a complaint was filed by employee receiving food. Food was redelivered by joanne who steadily mouthed while throwing the food on counter, stating we were stealing from the restaurant by not leaving a tip or anything. You should have respectful delivery drivers who know not to act a fool on the hospital floor. I will never chose to use door dash.

The doordash driver came into the hotel causing a scene and flashed her gun holster at the desk and valet when they asked her to move her car and she refused so the General manager got involved. She was very rude and made all of at the front desk very uncomfortable and guests that were waiting in the lobby were uncomfortable about the situation as well.

Credit Usage/Driver Pay
Credits are just automatically used on the next order right after you get them.
I would like to save up my credits to use at a later date though I assume that means that Door Dash wouldn't make as much money.
It seems as though they don't want you to save up credits which feels like a very devious thing to do to get the customer to spend more money.
It probably leads more people to order out more, believing "oh I have a discount I might as well use it up" instead of being able to save it and use it when it might be needed more.
This leads into my next point, which is being stated as someone who has driven for DoorDash many times within the past couple years. They already have a lot of money, and charge extra fees in some areas (referred to as a "regulatory response fee") that were to insure that they could continue to pay their drivers fairly.
Doing a drive around here nets to maybe $15 an hour at best, which is under the minimum wage. But not only that, they're counting on people tipping in order for the drivers to get paid a living wage. However, this is an area, like many others, where not only do most people not tip, it's also quite dangerous, especially at night.
Sure, they added safety features, but why would we want to do a job that is potentially risking our well being, while also getting paid under minimum wage, and no one tips? Which is the reason why I've stopped dashing altogether here.
Unfortunately, not everyone has the privilege to make that decision.
Not to mention we also have to pay for our car's upkeep and gas, which is where the money we get paid goes back to first. As a person who is currently residing in California, gas is not cheap, and so what we get paid really doesn't end up being a lot.
I assume DoorDash has made a LOT of money by: having a fleet of "freelance" workers whom they can pay minimally and claim the rest is on tips, and have those workers provide their own equipment and pay for its upkeep.
Therefore, I think they can afford to pay their workers better and/or compensate them for their gas/vehicle wear.
Desired outcome: Allow us to decide when to use credits.Pay drivers better and/or compensate for gas.

my roommate ordered on 10 1 from kentucky fried chicken well the order was received at different adress ours is #8 she dilivered to #6 we are both in our eighties so had to go find our food when we called her she said she delivered and not her problem and we have been charged twice p.s another just delivered our order again to our door which this driver was great

The pay as a dasher
As a dasher I figured I could make at least 15 dollars an hr. But no that's not even close to being true! Say u worked 6 hrs and dashed the whole time ,made 40 bucks. But right at the end u take a order that is cash order and it's 40 dollars,door dash takes the whole 40 dollars back from u! Not half the whole amount! So if u are a dasher I would advise against cash orders! I don't know how this is legal. I made absolutely no money for my 6 hr shift, because door dash turned right around and took that money from me. I don't get hourly pay since my daily pay kicked in! So all I have is tips,which takes hours to get up to 20 dollars! U wear and tear your car for nothing, u work for nothing if u take a cash order! No way this can b legal. But yet when u call u get the same foreign chic with kids screaming in the background and nothing resolved! Door dash owes me money! And I'll collect one way or another!

Pizza delivery
Tonight was my first time using doordash. I ordered a pizza on 9/27/2022 @ 6:05. Doordash said delivery by 6:43 by Shanda E. I tracked my driver and saw that she had indeed picked up my pizza but was not heading in my direction which is Meraux, La. She instead drove to New Orleans east, a town that is 16 miles away. The tracking then said 24 more minutes until delivery. I called and texted her. No answer and no response. When I finally received my order it was 7:40, over an hour after she picked it up and of course it was cold. I doubt I’ll ever use doordash again.

Account security
Our DoorDash account got hacked. Someone who knows our info changed the account number to be theirs. We haven't receive our money for 2 weeks, total cost of 2,400$. I cannot even log in to merchant portal, that theft changed everything. I AM THE ONLY ONE who can access to DD account because we are small family restaurant, there's no one else. When I called the escalated support team, the lady name "Shay" is not nice at all. She keep saying like it's my fault that someone on my side did this. She asked me to send EIN, voided check, entity letter of the business, account number etc. I was like wait a minute why I have to do all of this over again plus I don't feel safe sending all of these important info thru the email. Shay said if you can't submit this then you won't get your money back and the account can't be changed. Does this sound right? I don't think so. DoorDash got all of these info, why you just go look for it plus this problem is not from me. Someone knows all of my DoorDash info, if it's not from me then from who else, think about it. I think cancel the service with your company, it's easier. Definitely will do after I got my money back.
