Dr. Vega did a psychological evaluation for my husband, Guy Wade, on September 9, 2020. In Mr. Vega's report, he diagnosed me, Guy Wade's wife, Linda Wade, with "Paranoid Schizophrenia" without EVER talking to me or meeting me or doing ANY kind of evaluation or seeing any of my medical records.

I've never been diagnosed with this significant mental illness. In fact, Dr. Vega most likely diagnosed me, without ever seeing me, evaluating me or meeting me, based off incorrect police reports and other incorrect records.

This unethical misdiagnosis caused significant mental damage and distress to me and my children. It caused my PTSD to become complex and now chronic. I've had schizophrenia ruled out multiple times by PsyD psychologists, and other mental health professionals. In fact, Mr. Vega wasn't given a copy of my completed psychiatric evaluation showing significant domestic violence at the hands of Guy Wade resulting in a diagnosis of PTSD, anxiety, depression and nightmare disorder done in 2020. Guy continued abusing me and actually got worse, went right back to the way he was after the children moved back home where our daughter made a disclosure of sexual abuse. He has now lost custody of the children.

In fact, this unethical diagnosis, cased my son to remain in group homes longer, where he was sexually raped/assaulted by his roommate every single night in the last one. This is a direct result of the Paranoid Schizophrenia Mr. Vega diagnosed me with in Guy Wade's psych eval.

Guy recorded this evaluation and gave me a copy of it.

Desired outcome: I would like Mr. Vega reprimanded for his unethical "armchair" psychology. He isn't allowed to diagnose someone based of reports and hearsay without every seeing a patient.
