Avoid at all costs. You will be out of pocket!
Appalling experience with driving instructor NAILA MANSOOR. Driving instructor to empty your pockets on lessons with no taught content. The instructor uses her phone during lessons, turns up late and doesn’t actually teach you anything; she wants to make a profit. I was not taught to complete cockpit checks, and the handbrake was always left down. How to do an emergency stop, moving away and stopping, safe positioning, mirrors (vision and use), anticipation and planning including MSM and PSL routines, how to use junctions, crossroads and slip roads. How to use rounadabouts safely and confidently as she would just grab the wheel or abruptly press the brake if I was in the wrong lane. I was not taught any of the manoeuvres including reversing and turning the car around. I was supposedly taught a parallel park but she lost temper after two attempts saying to leave this for another day. I could go on about the beyond poor experience. Customer service initially responded to my complaint but then allow Naila to make inadequate excuses which just proves I will not be the last pupil to suffer from poor experience and be out of pocket. “Helping pupils to learn to drive safely and pass fast is our speciality” clearly not. Avoid at all costs.
Recommendation: Use another company!
Avoid DriveJohnson's: Unprofessional, Unreliable, and Refuses Refunds
I strongly advise against using DriveJohnson's as they are highly unprofessional and extremely unreliable. I made the mistake of paying upfront for 10 driving lessons, only to be met with a series of disappointments. Firstly, my driving instructor consistently made inappropriate remarks, creating an uncomfortable learning environment. On top of that, they were frequently late or simply failed to show up for our agreed upon appointments.
Frustrated and fed up with their unprofessional conduct, I made the decision to cancel the remaining lessons and requested a refund. However, DriveJohnson's flatly refused my refund request, citing the excuse that their instructors are self-employed. To add insult to injury, they informed me that my instructor no longer works for the company since I started my lessons, further justifying their refusal to reimburse me. As a result, I am now left out of pocket by a staggering amount of over ?150.
The audacity of DriveJohnson's to deny me a refund is truly appalling. They should be deeply ashamed of themselves for their lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction. It is clear that their primary concern lies in protecting their own interests rather than providing a quality service to their paying customers.
In conclusion, I strongly urge anyone considering DriveJohnson's to think twice before entrusting them with their hard-earned money. Their unprofessionalism, unreliability, and refusal to take responsibility for their actions make them a company that should be avoided at all costs. Save yourself the frustration and financial loss by seeking out a more reputable and trustworthy driving school.
Disappointing Service and Inconvenience: A Review of driveJohnsons Driving School
I recently made a booking with driveJohnsons for my son's birthday, but unfortunately, things did not go as planned. The instructor did not show up, which was quite disappointing. When I contacted the head office to inquire about the situation, they reached out to the instructor who claimed she had been waiting outside our house. However, this was clearly a blatant lie.
On the bright side, the office staff were very apologetic and managed to rebook us with another instructor for the following week. Thankfully, this time the instructor actually showed up, and the lesson went relatively well. However, my frustration began to mount when I tried to book another lesson after that.
For the past 10 days, I have been attempting to schedule another lesson, but it has proven to be an impossible task. The instructor is refusing to provide me with one-hour time slots, and the next available lesson is not until two weeks later, which is not at all convenient for us. By the time this lesson takes place, it will have been a whole month since the initial lesson was supposed to happen. This level of service is simply awful and completely unacceptable.
Due to this whole experience, I am now left with a bitter taste in my mouth. I feel compelled to seek out alternative driving schools as I cannot rely on driveJohnsons to provide the quality and convenience that I expect. It's a shame because I had high hopes for them, but unfortunately, they have let me down.
Terrible Experience with driveJohnsons: Paid for Lessons, Assigned Dismissed Instructor, Refund Denied
Absolutely rubbish! I paid for a block of 20 hours with driveJohnsons and they assigned me an instructor. But guess what? Turns out that instructor was no longer with the company! Can you believe it? And get this, they didn't even bother to tell me that he had been dismissed a whole month before they assigned him to me. What a joke!
So, I called them up to ask for a new instructor and you won't believe what they said. They told me that my payment was still with the old instructor and I had to wait for him to return it before they could give me a new one. Can you imagine the nerve? I wasn't having any of it, so I told them I just wanted a refund. But guess what they said? They said my money was with the old instructor and it was no longer their problem. They even had the audacity to tell me I had to chase him up myself. Like, seriously, do I even have his contact details? What the actual heck!
I'm absolutely fuming with driveJohnsons right now. This whole situation is a complete mess. I paid for lessons and all I got was a runaround. It's like they don't even care about their customers. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. Stay away from driveJohnsons if you want a hassle-free experience. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Terrible Experience with driveJohnsons: Misinformation, Delays, and Refusal to Refund
Honestly, I gotta say, it's been the absolute worst experience ever with driveJohnsons. I mean, seriously, I just wanted to switch my transmission from good ol' Manuel to Auto, you know? So I went ahead and asked them if I needed to contact my instructor about it. And guess what they said? They said, "Nah, mate, don't worry about it. We'll handle everything on our end." Well, let me tell you, that was a load of rubbish!
They told me it would take about 24 to 48 hours to sort it all out. But guess what? It's been nearly two whole weeks now, and I'm still waiting! Can you believe it? I had to keep bugging them just to get an update. And you know what they told me? They had the audacity to say that I lost a whopping 2 hours because I didn't cancel my future lessons with the instructor. Can you believe the nerve?
Now, hold on a minute. Let me make this clear. This was not my fault, alright? I did everything they told me to do, and they still messed it up. And you know what they did next? They went ahead and took my hard-earned money without even blinking an eye. Can you believe the cheek of it? And when I asked for a refund for those outstanding lessons, they flat out refused! Can you believe that? I mean, come on, I just wanted to go somewhere that actually takes responsibility when their staff members give out wrong information.
So, let me give you a little piece of advice, my friend. Be careful when you book with driveJohnsons. Make sure they give you all the necessary information because it seems like they only tell you what suits their fancy. They pick and choose, you know? It's like they have their own little agenda going on. And let me tell you, it's not a good look.
So, yeah, take my word for it. Don't make the same mistake I did. Find yourself a driving school that actually cares about their customers and takes ownership when they mess up. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Disappointing First Lesson with driveJohnsons: Lack of Instruction and Condescending Attitude
I recently had my first lesson with driveJohnsons and I must say, it was quite disappointing. The instructor seemed to have a condescending attitude towards me, which really affected my self-confidence while driving. Now, I'm not a complete beginner as I've had over 40 hours of lessons many years ago with a fantastic instructor from AA driving school who taught me everything I know today.
During my first lesson with driveJohnsons, after a long break from driving, I noticed that the instructor didn't seem to take the lesson seriously. Instead of focusing on teaching me, he was constantly glued to his phone. It was quite frustrating. Throughout the entire lesson, all he kept saying was, "Take the next left," over and over again. We just drove around a block of flats for a solid two hours. That was it. There was no real instruction or guidance from the instructor, and his attitude was incredibly rude and condescending.
To be honest, I really dislike this instructor and his attitude. It's just not something I appreciate or find helpful at all.
Extremely Poor Customer Service and Lack of Communication from driveJohnsons
I had my first driving lesson booked for 2pm on 14th April. I received a call from the DJ team around 11am on the day, but they abruptly hung up when I answered. I tried to contact them back through email and phone, but there was no response. I also tried reaching out to the instructor, but no luck there either. I decided to wait until 2pm because I wasn't sure what was going on. Unfortunately, the instructor never showed up, so I called DJ again and finally managed to get through.
They informed me that the instructor wasn't feeling well and had to cancel. They said they would contact me within 2 working days, which I understood, especially considering the current Covid situation. However, I didn't receive any contact from them for over a week. Frustrated, I decided to call them back as the situation was becoming ridiculous. The lady on the phone apologized and rebooked me for 10th May, almost a month later. I thought to myself, "Okay, maybe they have a backlog of bookings," and reluctantly accepted the new date.
On 4th May, I called them again because I had been checking the app daily and noticed that the lesson still said unconfirmed. The lady on the phone informed me that the lesson was declined because I was too far away. She didn't provide any explanation as to why I wasn't contacted earlier about this issue. It was absolutely terrible customer service. I would never recommend driveJohnsons to anyone. It's better to pay a little extra and go with AA or Red. What a complete waste of my time and energy. As the paying customer, I shouldn't be the one chasing after a service that I have already paid for.
Disappointing Experience with driveJohnsons: Booking Mishaps and Letdowns
I recently organized driving lessons for my son's 17th birthday present through driveJohnsons. I scheduled a Saturday lesson and booked a block of 10 lessons. However, I was disappointed when the instructor called shortly before the lesson to inform us that he wouldn't be able to make it on time as he was still completing a lesson elsewhere. I offered to bring my son to him, but he declined. He suggested a shorter lesson, but mentioned that he would be very tired, as he had already done a lot of lessons that day. Obviously, I couldn't accept this offer. It's worth noting that I had made these arrangements with the head office beforehand.
Frustrated by this situation, I contacted the head office to express my disappointment. They were very apologetic and offered to schedule a new regular slot with a different instructor starting the following week. Today was supposed to be the day for the rescheduled lesson, but unfortunately, the instructor didn't show up. When I called the head office to inquire about the situation, they informed me that there had been a technical glitch with their new electronic diary system, which resulted in the booking not being sent to the instructor. Once again, there was nothing they could do to rectify the situation.
My son was extremely disappointed by the consecutive letdowns from this driving school. As a result, I have decided not to take the risk again and will be opting for a different driving school. I feel thoroughly let down by driveJohnsons. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any feedback on the quality of their driving instruction, as we never even had the opportunity to experience it. It is imperative that driveJohnsons sorts out their booking system to avoid disappointing future customers.
Terrible Experience with driveJohnsons: Unreliable Instructor and Poor Customer Service
So, like, about a month ago, I decided to book my first ever driving lesson with this company called driveJohnsons. At first, everything was going alright, you know? But then, out of the blue, the instructor goes and postpones the lesson that I had already booked. I was like, seriously dude? But whatever, I tried to fix another day to meet up that week. The instructor tells me what days he's available, and I pick one. But guess what? He changes his mind and says we'll do it next week instead. I was getting pretty annoyed by this point, but I thought, okay, let's give it another shot.
So, he tells me that the lesson will be on the following Monday around 10ish because he's away for the weekend on some bank holiday. He says he'll confirm the exact time later in the evening. But you know what? He never does. I'm waiting and waiting, and finally, on Sunday, I decide to send him a message asking for confirmation. And you know what? He doesn't even bother to answer. Rude, right?
So, the next morning, I wake up early and send him another text asking for the exact time we're supposed to meet. Finally, he replies, saying that he was supposed to come back from his holidays the day before, but he's still away. He says he'll let me know about another day in the afternoon. But guess what? He never does. I'm getting pretty fed up at this point, you know?
So, tired of chasing after this guy and waiting for my lesson, I decide to call the head office and ask to switch instructors. But you know what they tell me? They only have this one instructor in my area. Can you believe it? And get this, they say that maybe, just maybe, they'll put me as a priority later on if I stick with them and spend more hours. Like, seriously? They made me feel like my money wasn't worth it because I only paid for one hour to test their service. Thank goodness I didn't go for their 10, 20, or 30-hour bundle. I would've been even more frustrated.
So, needless to say, I asked for a refund and went with another company. I definitely wouldn't recommend driveJohnsons to anyone. The whole experience was a total nightmare. The instructor's communication skills were practically non-existent, and they made me feel like I wasn't important. Trust me, save yourself the trouble and find another driving school.
Beware of driveJohnsons: Unqualified Instructors and Lack of Responsibility
Warning! I gotta tell ya, there's somethin' fishy goin' on with driveJohnsons. Ya see, a lot of their instructors ain't actually fully approved drivin' instructors. They're just trainees, or as they call 'em, PDI's. Now, ya might be wonderin' why this is a big deal. Well, let me tell ya, it's a big deal 'cause ya wanna make sure ya got someone who knows what they're doin' teachin' ya how to drive, right?
So, here's the deal. driveJohnsons wouldn't even tell us how many of their instructors are still in trainin'. They're keepin' it a secret, which makes ya wonder why. If they had a bunch of fully approved instructors, why would they need to hide the numbers? It just don't add up, ya know?
Now, I ain't sayin' all their trainee instructors are bad. But, ya gotta be careful. It's always a good idea to ask 'em if they're fully approved. Don't just assume they are. Ask to see their badge and check their number with the DVSA. It's better to be safe than sorry, right?
Now, let me tell ya 'bout my son's experience with driveJohnsons. The instructor they assigned him turned out to be a trainee PDI. And let me tell ya, this guy was all over the place. He'd give my son conflictin' advice and didn't seem to know the rules of the road himself. On top of that, he'd be takin' personal calls durin' lessons and showin' up late all the time. Communication? Forget about it. It was always a struggle to even arrange lessons.
After months of drivin' with this trainee instructor and goin' out with me, my son was ready for his second test. He was well-prepared, havin' driven a lot with me. But guess what? The day before his test, the instructor didn't even show up for the lesson they had planned. When we called him, he claimed he had an accident. But get this, he sent us two pictures of his car parked next to another car, and there wasn't a scratch on it! What's up with that? We were left waitin' all day with no communication from the instructor. Finally, someone from the driveJohnsons office realized the instructor wouldn't be able to get a new car in time, so they asked if we had a vehicle we could use instead. It was already 4pm, and the test was at 8am the next day! Our only option was to use a relative's car. I had to provide L plates 'cause the instructor didn't even have any. When we got to the test center, the examiner noticed right away that there was no additional rearview mirror, which is required by law. Can ya believe it? Our instructor didn't even know he needed one! The examiner was furious and had to go look for a spare mirror. My son was gettin' more and more nervous by the minute. With all the last-minute changes and the examiner bein' all worked up, it's no surprise my son didn't pass.
Now, here's the real kicker. When we complained to driveJohnsons, they refused to take any responsibility. They kept sayin' that their instructors and trainees are self-employed and not their responsibility. Can ya believe that? We chose driveJohnsons 'cause we thought a bigger, well-known school would be safer. But boy, were we wrong! Turns out, they're the ones providin' the trainin' for these candidate instructors, so they've flooded their ranks with 'em. It's a clever little business they got goin' on there.
So, listen to me. I strongly recommend ya look for another drivin' school. Do your research and make sure ya get an approved drivin' instructor. Don't make the same mistake we did. Stay safe out there, folks.
Avoid DriveJohnsons: Terrible Instructor, Lack of Structure, Poor Time Management
I started takin lessons again after a 2 year gap from one of the other larger driving companies. My previous instructor was great from that company, but I had lost his contact details so couldn't resume with him. So I thought I'd give a relatively smaller independent company a go. Came across DriveJohnsons' youtube channel and was impressed (naive much) with what I saw and decided to give them a whirl.
I should have paid closer attention, there were tell tell signs during my first lesson that something wasn't quite right. Firstly my driving instructor was due to pick me up at 12.30pm, text me an hour before the lesson to say that he was going to be late and if I could do 1.30pm instead. Little did I know that this would turn out to be a regular occurrence. So he picked me up got chatting and I explained to him that I am a nervous driver and need to build up my confidence etc. The first lesson had no structure, there wasn't any focus on trying to tackle and learn about say roundabouts or bay parking or clutch control etc. No. Just general driving. By the end of the lesson he was like, 'see that went well, you are not a bad driver'. Not going to lie, this made me feel great. However, a good informative instructor will always back up his positives with things that they observed that you need to work on. If they sense you are weak on clutch control or roundabouts, then what they will say is, 'ok for the next lesson we will be tackling this until you are confident enough and then we will move on to this- but for now don't worry you are quite capable of driving well'. But there was no structure to any of the lessons, it was just general driving and every now and then we would do a manoeuvre, maybe once or twice, then we'd move on. At the time I thought this was normal, it is only now that I've changed driving instructors that I know it is not.
His time management was woeful to say the least. If it was an afternoon lesson, he would always delay it by half an hour. By the end of our time together- 6 months (had a 4 week holiday inbetween)- we changed the lesson time to 8am. This time though, he never delayed the lesson but would turn up at 7.40am expecting me to be ready. And instead of finishing the lesson at 9.40am, he would finish the 2 hour lesson at 9.20am! By the time the lesson was over I was so exhausted from driving that whenever I was meaning to confront him on this issue, I would forget and be glad to be home.
Earlier this year he stated that I was ready to book my test, even though something told me I wasn't, but being the naive fool that I am I booked it. This was when things really started to go from erratic to horrendous. Twice he never turned up to the appointed lesson at 8am in the morning. The first time I let it go because he said he was ill. However, the second time I sent him a reminder the morning of the lesson saying that I will be paying him that day, he replied back to me apologising saying that his alarm clock did "go off" and that my text was the thing that "woke him up" and if I could reschedule the lesson to that afternoon. Which I could not do as I'm a working adult and I had things to do that day! He would then continue to do this several times, rearranging MY scheduled lessons because a few of his pupils were "parents" and had to arrange child care needs for there kids, so he would sacrifice my lessons to book theirs in in my time instead!
When we did eventually have lessons, he would then constantly forget to do mock tests with me and would apologise and promise to do it the next week, then forget again. When I did request extra lessons from him within the week, even going as far to book a few days off work to do them, he would get back to me late saying he couldn't do them because he had to wait for his pupils to rearrange their times before getting back to me. But he had no problem rearrange MINE to accordate others! I finally lost it with him (I know I should have lost it ages ago) when he didn't turn up to my last lesson. And when I rang him to ask why, his excuse was that he was in St Albans because his other pupil had a last minute test rescheduled to then. So he could not have told me this earlier, at least a DAY before I would wake up early for my scheduled lesson?
I finally plucked up the courage to email drivejohnsons and demand a refund of the remaining lessons I had with him, and i made it abundantly clear to them that I no longer wanted anything to do with him or the company. A day after sending them that email, the driving instructor then proceeded to constantly call my phone. I listened to the voicemail he left and he stated that he was instructed by the office manager at Drivejohnsons to call me and arrange a refund directly with me! I sent a furious email back to DriveJohnsons saying and I quote "I see no reason why I should have to have- what will inevitably be- an awkward conversation with the instructor I no longer want teaching me; and explaining to him why I no longer want him to teach me. It is a rather dubious situation to put a customer in to say the least."
To which the office manager replied back to me saying that she will handle the refund herself. Well common sense prevails then.
You might be thinking why I stayed with this driving instructor if I was having all these problems with him and the company. I mainly put this down to my own stubbornness and fear that if I were to change driving instructors that I might fall further behind in my learning. Luckily though I have changed and it is the best decision I have ever made. My new instructor is amazed that I spent all that time with drivejohnsons and I still haven't done certain tricky test routes that are a must to do before the test. Seems like drivejohnsons were just making life easier for themselves and dragging out my lessons and taking my money.
Long and short of it is - AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID! I am seriously considering reporting them to BBC's Watchdog as well!
I passed first time today thanks to John at driveJohnson's. Really nice man and great instructor.

Disappointing Experience with driveJohnsons: Car Explosion and Lengthy Wait for Next Test
So, I had this driving instructor from driveJohnsons, right? And let me tell you, this morning, on the day of my test, he drops a bombshell on me. He says, "Hey, mate, the car has gone and 'sploded!" Can you believe it? I mean, I was driving that very car just yesterday, and now it's apparently blown up or something.
Naturally, I was fuming. I demanded my money back from this bloke. I mean, who wouldn't? But here's the kicker: I gotta wait a whole two months before I can even think about booking my next test. Two months! Can you imagine the agony? I'm absolutely gutted, devastated, you name it. This whole situation has left me feeling like a right proper mess.
Now, I don't know about you, but I reckon this is a major letdown. I mean, driveJohnsons is supposed to be a reputable driving school, right? You'd think they'd have their act together and make sure their cars don't go boom. But no, here I am, stuck in limbo, waiting for my chance to prove myself on the road.
Honestly, I expected better. I thought driveJohnsons would have my back, but it seems like they've let me down big time. I just hope that when I finally get my next test booked, everything goes smoothly. I can't afford any more setbacks or surprises. My nerves are shot as it is.
So, if you're thinking about learning to drive with driveJohnsons, I'd say proceed with caution. Make sure you double-check everything before you commit. You don't want to end up in the same boat as me, feeling utterly crushed and counting down the days until you can get back behind the wheel.
In conclusion, my experience with driveJohnsons has been a real bummer. Their lack of reliability and the whole car explosion fiasco has left me feeling pretty down in the dumps. I just hope they sort themselves out and learn from their mistakes. Until then, I'll be patiently waiting for my chance to hit the road again.
Terrible Experience with driveJohnsons Driving Instructor: Unprofessional Behavior and Waste of Money
I had a really bad experience with my driving instructor from driveJohnsons. I was absolutely shocked when he started swearing at other people while we were driving. It made me incredibly nervous and I couldn't focus on my first lesson at all. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this driving school to anyone because it's just a waste of money. If I had the option, I wouldn't even give them 1 star because the instructor definitely doesn't deserve it. I'm just grateful that I only booked 2 hours with them and not more.
Terrible Experience with driveJohnsons: Unprofessional, Late Drivers, Cancelled Lessons, Useless Admin Staff
I had a really bad experience with driveJohnsons. They were so unprofessional and it felt like they just wanted to take my money. The drivers were always late and wasted my time. They would cancel lessons without any notice and sometimes they wouldn't even show up at all. It was so frustrating!
The admin staff were just as useless. Some of them were nice, but they never actually solved any of my problems. It was like they didn't care about helping me at all. I really regret choosing driveJohnsons for my driving lessons.
To make matters worse, I didn't learn much from them. My driver suddenly bailed on me and stopped teaching me less than two weeks before my test. Can you believe that? It was such a disappointment and it really affected my confidence going into the test.
I would strongly advise anyone to avoid driveJohnsons. They are not reliable and they don't care about their customers. Find a different driving school that actually values your time and money. Trust me, you'll be better off elsewhere.

Frustrating and Inconvenient: My Disappointing Experience with driveJohnsons
I wouldn't recommend using driveJohnsons if you're looking for a smooth and hassle-free experience. My personal encounter with them was quite frustrating, to say the least. First off, booking lessons over the phone was a real pain. I spent hours on the phone just to secure a lesson, only to have it cancelled at the last minute. And let me tell you, these cancellations happened frequently, ranging from a day before to just an hour before the scheduled lesson.
To make matters worse, after wasting three whole weeks trying to arrange a lesson, I was informed that they didn't actually have any available instructors for my specific area. Can you believe that? It's absolutely ridiculous! I mean, why didn't they mention this earlier? It's like they didn't even bother to check their resources properly before getting my hopes up.
The customer service I received from driveJohnsons was nothing short of horrendous. They were unhelpful, unapologetic, and seemed to have no regard for the inconvenience they caused me. It's clear that they lack the basic understanding of providing satisfactory service to their customers.
Overall, my experience with driveJohnsons was a complete disappointment. I strongly advise against using their services if you value your time and sanity. There are plenty of other driving schools out there that can offer a much better and more reliable experience. Don't waste your time with driveJohnsons.
Disappointing Experience with driveJohnsons: Poor Communication and Reliability
So, I decided to give driveJohnsons a try and booked a driving lesson over the phone. They sent me a text to confirm the appointment, which was a good sign. However, when the day came, the driver didn't show up! I was pretty frustrated, so I called them to make a complaint. But guess what? No one has gotten back to me yet! Talk about poor customer service, right?
But I didn't give up just yet. I decided to give them another chance and called them again. They gave me another appointment and sent me a confirmed text, which gave me a glimmer of hope. However, my hopes were dashed once again when the instructor canceled the appointment the next day, claiming that he was fully booked. Seriously, what a letdown!
Overall, my experience with driveJohnsons has been nothing short of disappointing. Their lack of communication and reliability is a major letdown. I expected better from a driving school, especially when it comes to something as important as learning to drive. It's safe to say that I won't be recommending driveJohnsons to anyone looking for driving lessons.
Avoid driveJohnsons: Disorganized instructor, wrong test time, wrong center, and no responsibility taken. Terrible service!
The instructor at driveJohnsons was seriously disorganized and super difficult to reach when it came to booking a lesson. And let me tell you, when it was time for the test, things got even worse. This guy actually tried to take me at the wrong time, even though he had known for weeks when and where it was supposed to be. Can you believe that? But wait, it gets even better. He ended up taking me to the wrong center, leaving me completely out of pocket and without a chance to take the test. Can you say frustrating?
But here's the real kicker. When I complained to driveJohnsons about this whole mess, they refused to take any responsibility for their employees. I mean, seriously? Talk about terrible service. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. So, my advice to you is to AVOID driveJohnsons at all costs. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
Unreliable and Unresponsive: Beware of Last-Minute Cancellations and Poor Customer Service
I'm not entirely convinced by these 5-star ratings. My encounter with this company has been pretty much in line with the other 16 negative reviews. The booking process goes smoothly, but out of the blue, the lesson gets canceled at the very last moment. Attempting to reschedule a new lesson feels like an uphill battle, as they claim to be swamped with calls (which I highly doubt). Consequently, the likelihood of receiving a refund becomes even more distant. I'd strongly recommend steering clear of this company, just like you would avoid the AIDS virus!
Unreliable Instructor and Poor Customer Service: Lack of Professionalism and Disappointing Experience
After I paid for my driving lessons, the instructor didn't bother to schedule any classes. He kept saying he would call me back, but I wouldn't hear from him for weeks. I had to reach out to him again just to ask about the classes.
When I complained to customer service, all they did was send me an email saying sorry. They didn't do anything else to make things right. They didn't refund the money for the remaining classes I had paid for, and they didn't even try to book me with a different instructor.
It's clear that they lack professionalism and don't respect people's money and time. It's really frustrating and disappointing.
Terrible Experience with driveJohnsons: No Refund, No Driver, No Customer Service
I gotta say, I'm not one to complain, but this is just too much! So, they promised to give me my money back, but it's been a whopping three weeks and still no sign of that cash! I've been trying to get in touch with them, calling them up countless times, and you know what they always say? "I'll call you back." But guess what? They never do! Can you believe it?
They couldn't even find a driver for me, and now they're acting like it's my fault! Come on now, if it's not my fault, then why am I the one left empty-handed? I just don't get what the problem is with this company. Their service is just plain awful, and it's got me fuming! And to top it all off, nobody seems to give a darn about helping me out.
I mean, seriously, what's a person gotta do to get some decent customer service around here? It's like they don't even care about their customers. Well, let me tell you, I'm not gonna let this slide. I'm gonna make sure everyone knows about the terrible experience I've had with driveJohnsons. They need to step up their game and start treating their customers with some respect. It's the least they can do after all the trouble they've put me through.
Unreliable and Unprofessional: My Disappointing Experience with driveJohnsons
I had a really bad experience with driveJohnsons. They are totally unreliable when it comes to their driving instructors. It seems like they have no idea who works for them or who they employ. It's a real lack of professionalism on their part.
I was strung along for over 30 lessons, thinking I was making progress towards my driving test. But once I booked my test, they dropped me like a hot potato. They were so arrogant and rude, thinking they knew best. They left me high and dry with no car or instructor.
To make matters worse, when I tried to complain to the company, they were utterly useless. They didn't even have the instructor on their system, so they couldn't do anything to help me. It's clear that they don't take complaints seriously or have any proper procedures in place to handle them.
And to top it all off, the instructor I had wasn't even who he said he was. It's really disappointing and frustrating to have wasted so much time and money with this company. I would definitely not recommend driveJohnsons to anyone. Stay away from this company if you want a reliable and trustworthy driving instructor.
