I been in Arkansas at the TPD school today I’m leaving at 11:50 am using my own money to get back to Houston this school has been one of the worse experience and today was the last straw. My roommate not only ran up on me in front of everyone outside of the hotel but also threaten me due to her own personal problems this isn’t the first time she went off on...

PAM Transport Driver in East Texas area

Last night, 1/31/23 at around 9pm, a driver for your company was on Hwy 79 South. in East Texas. The driver got in behind me just south of where Hyw 79 and FM 42 intersect. I applied my brakes to get the driver to back off. This apparently did nothing to slow the speed of the truck. I again applied my brakes for a longer period of time and did not try to regain speed. To the driver, this must have meant to get closer and use bright lights. This continued for almost 10 miles before the lights were dimmed and the driver backed off.

Most of this stretch of road is just 2 lanes with very few passing lanes, It was sleeting and a light mist was falling, making the roadway slippery. When I got to the closest passing lane, I moved over to let them go past. Unfortunately, I did not think about getting a truck number until the truck was way ahead of me. I was unable to catch up to the truck, even at 65 miles per hour. I realized that the driver had somewhere to be. So did I, and my goal is to arrive at my destination with minimal amount of personal injury to myself or others.

East Texans are not overly familiar with driving in winter weather. I also own the roadway, as well as anyone else, since I do have to pay taxes. I work in the medical field and I have to respond if I am first on the scene of an accident. That would be a difficult issue for me to move anger out of my heart and treat such a selfish person, should they had been involved in an accident.

Desired outcome: not sure of company policy, but if the driver could be found and a letter of demerit be given, perhaps that may help with the driver's disregard of his former self.

PAM Transport Misuse of information

I drive for PAM and was never told if my spouse posts a video on her face book page sitting in the passengers seat the company has the right to assume she is driving the vehicle or make claims of such ...Which they did they called me on my home time accusing me of letting her drive the tractor which never was true in the first place them she made another video showing the reason why it looked like she was in her cell phone she has 2 cameras one facing front the second flips the image to reverse about 1 hour later the head supervisor of PAM Safety called me and basically showing no respect or regards for the issue at hand began telling me no one will disrespect the drivers or the company personnel which I agree with But He felt compelled to do it to me and on top of it all proceeded to go off about something my wife posted on HER page for HER kids, I had to move the vehicle several times due to street sweeping and limited parking in the area I was in and in doing so forgot I was logged off the QUALCOMM so He didn't want to discuss the issue instead he demanded I come to HQ so he can talk to me about this as well again with no respect to me after I spoke to one of his subordinates with total respect I'm thinking this other person told him I was being disrespectful to him this is what caused this guy to act like this towards me which was uncalled for along with my spouses passenger permit being expired so he claims but this is what happens when PAM keeps you running a dedicated lane from Clarksville TN to Laredo TX so you cant get into a terminal unless you have mechanical issues only paying you 32cpm for all those miles and taxing you to death ...Just goes to show they like to misuse face book information that belongs to your family as ammo to fire at you I admit I moved the truck off the logs that was my mistake Yes but as for the remainder of it this company cares nothing about your personal privacy and Infringes upon your personal information to suit them best BEWARE of this tactic.

PAM Transport I was hit by their company

I was parked legally at a truck stop in Austintown OH. Their driver drove in and hit me. They have dragged their feet in getting this done. As of right now I will be off 4 weeks and the truck has not been touched. I have had an estimate for 3 and a half weeks. I'm an owner operator. My fiance has had to file chapter 13 in order to keep the house and vehicle. DO NOT HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH PAM TRANSPORT. THEY LIE TO THE PUBLIC ABOUT HOW THEY LIKE THEIR DRIVERS. THEIR TURN OVER RATIO IS A JOKE. LAWYER UP A JUST SERVE THEM. Make them go to court.

PAM Transport Rip Off

OK i have been working for Pam for 3 Months it has only been a nightmare with them. They have no communication in the main office I have had 4 Dm"s (Dispatcher) in three months. Two told me they was quitting because of bad management and they were treated like dirt.(welcome to the Pams driver world) They have no respect for the driver at all and they threaten to fire you when you have to try and get home fast.(without them taking three weeks to get you home)They say that they pay for your CDL School if you stay with them a year (Well don't believe that) The school cost $5000 when you go to work for them they take $50 a week out of your check to pay toward the school. Thats come to $2600 for a year that half of the cost. But it dont stop there, if you don't pay anything to go to school which is what drivers solutions want when you go to for Pam they pay you .25 cents a mile if you pay for your school they pay you .34 cents per mile that .09 Cents per mile diff. They want you to run team but were going to use a solo as a example here. They say that as a solo you can average 3000 miles per week.(6000 for team) Times 52 weeks that 156000 miles a year. So if you take .09 x 156000=14, 040 a year that they keep for them to pay for your school. Add that to the $2600 they hold out of your check each week that comes out to $16, 640 you are paying for them to pay for your school. As a solo i'm only getting maybe on the best week 1800 miles per week. I have talk to team drivers and they are getting 3500 miles a week. They pay 17.5 cents a mile for team that only $612.50 a week by the time that they take money out for school and other things you might bring home $300 for the week.Use you own judgement about going to work for Pam but if you want to pay $16, 000 for a cdl go ahead I made that mastake.

Driver 8852 parked in a Handicap spot on the night of 08/05/2019, in Kingston Springs, Tennessee without a visible handicap placard and no handicap plate

He/she should be ashamed! What a sick sense of entitlement.

I was a student at Pam and they treated me terribly bad. I passed all my test and gave me a bus ticket home. They kept me at the terminal in Tontitown for 3 days waiting to go home. They listen to lies from a girl named Michelle Bains that works in the insurance department that by the way doesnt know me. And they breached their contract with me. My school isnt paid. My first mentor didnt get paid who was by the way a bad mentor, that complained that I know how to drive a truck and I have drove before his name is Robert Jeffrey. Pam put me out with a 2nd mentor who was great his name is Carl Knittle who also didnt get paid. So not only does Pam treat their drivers like dirt, they treat their trainers worse. Eric Bunch who works for safety. Discriminated me and another lady as we were waiting to be tested out. Eric stated that women dont need drivers license because they dont know how to drive. Amanda Caras heard the comment and disagreed with Eric.Eric also stated that the trucking industries need to stop working women. For one women makes the best drivers, we go through more dirt than anyone else and we get up shake the bs off and go to work. Michelle Bains worked at the same auto insurance company that I went through at that time, I bet that the only reason that Michelle Bains has a job is because the company doesnt know about the ABC Insurance scandle that she was involved in where Michelle and Leslie stoled a huge amount of money from the companies customers. So not only the people in the office treat their driver and trainers like dirt, they like to cheat people out of money.

i drove for afs out of jacksonvile fl. pam brough this company and closed the company down in 2007. it was by far the best trucking company to work for the staff at afs were great. dennis tucker, barry carty, all the dispatchers, outo, cory, kim and judy in safety dept. you got the miles with this company. then pam destroyed the company. we lost avon corp. deer park water, k-mart, sears, wal-mart, if you drive for this company. look to be last for you pick-ups and deliveries because they do not know how to run a company. and cushman should be replace with someone that knows how to run a trucking company. drivers took pride in driving for afs. stay away from pam transport out of tonitown ar. no good miles and no good pay. go work at a fast food place. you make more money then you will with pam transport. good luck. shaffer trucking will treat you a hole lot better.

here's how you deliver or pick up last with PAM there's NO organization They govern the trucks to 63mph and they treat the drivers like old grease on the fifth wheel now if you try to call in plan to wait with the line ringing for no less then 45 mins before someone answers and being left in the dark if you send a message

We are in the same place but only my husband is team driving and they are telling him that he can only get paid for the miles he drive. He is on the truck 24x7 but can only get paid for what he drive. This week his check after taking out for school, insurance etc. His check was under $200. How do they expect a man to take care of his family and himself on the road with that kind of pay. I all sounds so good when they are in school and they tell them what they can make and what the company is about, but once you are in it things changes from day to day.

So what do you suggest for someone like my husband who is stuck in a year long contract with PAM? The way is sounds is he would do better to quit and just pay them back for his school.

your best bet on this situation is have him quit the contract with PAM protects only PAM no one else I drive for them as a Solo driver avg for me is 2800 miles round trip on a GM lane after they guaranteed me western 11 runs instead they use the excuse of "Oh we don't have any western runs just east of I-35 and North south of I-35" I checked my pay they said 38cpm turns out I'm getting only 32cpm and getting hammered on taxes since they been taking too much and forcing dispatches If I were you I would tell the husband to run from PAM I'm doing myself

My husband and I weren't even making ends-meet when he decided to go into the trucking industry. He stumbled upon the driver solutions website and we both thought it would be a good idea since he wasn't having good luck with getting a job our here. Well, he applied and was contacted by a man named Brian Kelly I believe. We went through a process of...
