Good morning
On 30 November 2019 I had a problem at Dunns Ladybrand, Free State Province when I needed to make an exchange; I bought three items cash before, and made a laybye for other items that same day. On the ones I bought cash, the sizes were small when I got home, I returned the items with the original invoice, I was helped. Again, when got home the sizes were small, I had a problem when I needed to exchange the second time, the cashier told me that it is impossible for the exchange to be made because their auditor will need the original invoice. So my argument was, but the original invoice was taken by you people with my first exchange, the lady gave me attitude, I then told them if this is one of your store's terms and conditions, it was supposed to be written on the invoice, that I am only given one chance to exchange at your store, I furthermore told them that the invoice that I am producing today with my second exchange was given to me by you with my first exchange, but according to them it is no longer an original invoice, and my question to them was if this terms and condition is not written on the slip were you not supposed to at least explain to me with my first exchange, that I am given only one chance to exchange, I was told that their customers knows that, so there is no need for them to keep on explaining one thing. They then told me to produce my original ID book after that long argument, they made a copy and I was told to write some sort of an affidavit stating that I lost my invoice and would like to make an exchange, I only did that because that was the only option according to them for the exchange to be possible. Again my question was why such a long argument at first whereas you could have told me to produce my ID book, write the affidavit and be helped. What pushed them to finally agree for the exchange to be possible was that I was demanding a refund if the exchange is impossible, because seriously what will I do with something that does not fit me.
After that long argument with them, I felt so helpless that day, I was even thinking of cancelling my laybye that I still have with them, so that I will not see myself at their store ever again.

I am not satisfied, the reason being my complaint is unresolved.
I made payment on the 30th June 2023 and they said I didn't pay my account.so I went to the bank to get proof of payment and emailed to them.so nothing is happening no response at all
I placed my order online, paid for it. But, it was not delivered. And, Dunns are ignoring any messages which I have send. Seems, to be yet another criminal company. Which is becoming a trend with such fairly unknown businesses. Rather buy from Truworths, Woolworths etc. At least your money will not be stollen.
