We purchased an extended RV warranty from Jacob Weeks with Eagle Vision RV in November 2023 with the understanding that the contract would not be effective until November 2024. The reason for the contract to begin in November 2024 is because we had just purchased the RV in November 2023 and had a 1-year warranty on the RV, so we wouldn't need coverage until November 2024. We began the purchase in November 2023 because Jacob said the price would increase the following year so we wanted to lock-in the current price. Jacob gave us the rate of $3600. We paid $1800 in November 2023 and the remaining $1800 in January 2024. Well, we ended up getting rid of the RV and purchased a new RV. We needed to cancel the contract because we no longer needed it because we now have a new RV with a new one-year warranty. We tried reaching Jacob several times but could never get in touch with him. Not even today. No contact. Can't even leave him a voicemail message because his phone does not allow it. We finally ended up getting in touch with AAC (American Assurance Corporation). AAC refunded us a portion of the money we paid, but not the full amount of $3600. We assumed that we would be refunded most if not all of what we paid since the contract didn't start until November 2024. AAC told us that Jacob Weeks submitted a contract to them showing that the policy went into effect in November 2023 instead of November 2024. However, the policy that we have on file from Jacob shows that the policy went into effect in November 2024, which is what we discussed with Jacob when the contract was written. Additionally, we paid $3600 and have the receipts to prove that. The contract that Jacob sent to AAC shows the price paid as only $2901. So, we've learned that Jacob is writing fraudulent contracts. Had we not called to cancel the contract, it is highly possible that we would not have learned of this. I caution others to be aware of Jacob Weeks at Eagle Vision RV when looking to purchase an extended RV warranty. Additionally, if you decide to do business with Jacob be sure to get everything in writing because we have been scammed by Jacob. We will be pursuing this further and posting on other social media outlets to make others aware of what we've experienced with Jacob Weeks of Eagle Vision RV.
Recommendation: Be cautious of purchasing an extended RV warranty from Jacob Weeks at Eagle Vision RV. We have been scammed by Jacob.
