Horrible business practice
I placed me order and was provided a delivery date from their agent even though the order gives a window. When the order didn’t ship I calle sand was told about the date range and then told another date. Didn’t ship again. I finally got a manager ( ridiculous that the managers hide from calls). The manager said would ship by today 5/31 also the last possible date from the date range. There was no shipping info listed so I called for the information and was told it would not ship until next month. I asked for a manager and was told there are none to take calls and all I could do is wait for them to call me. This company has done. I think g but lie to me. This is a lot of money for them to take and not provide the product they said they would by the date they said. And do not give me the crap about supply chain issues. If that’s the case then put that one the web site instead of telling people the items are available. And the managers need to grow some balls and talk to the customers instead of hiding from calls. Expect a BBB COMPAINT AND A ATTERNEY GENERAL COMPLAINT TO BE FILED since you can’t even handle customer service and shipping as promised.
Recommendation: Unless they change their business practice don’t do business with them.

They forgot to ship half of my order. So what should have been a month long wait turned into a two month wait for the whole thing to arrive. When it did arrive and worked, it worked well. We loved it. However, it broke after 4 days. It no longer cools. Weve been going through technical support for over a month and have only received two responses from them. Ive tried calling support (which you can never reach anyone) and tried emailing. This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. For spending over $1,500 on something for a mattress, you would think theyd have some customer support. If you want customer support, you have to manage your support and make sure they do they lie job, even though they never answer.

Something isn't right here. We ordered our King pod on 2/21. The website said it would be DELIVERED in 3-4 weeks. I reached out at 4 weeks since I didn't get a shipping notification (therefore its highly unlikely it would be delivered that week). They told me that they apologized for the delay and offered me a free gift for the delay. We accepted the gift thinking that we would be waiting another week or 2 for delivery. I was sent an email and told my product would be shipped on 3/30. I did not receive a shipping notification and reached out on 3/31 and they shared they would look into and let me know. Crickets. Today (4/6), I reached out and they told me that the expected ship date is 4/12. But I've had enough. I ordered this bed with the expectation that it would be DELIVERED no more than 4 weeks after 2/21. I'm now into week 7 and it hasn't been shipped. Unacceptable. I called their customer service line and it just rang and rang and rang. Told them via chat that I wanted to cancel and they said they "would put in the request and let me know when it is processed". If this isn't addressed by the end of the week, I will be handing it over to my bank for investigation. To pay over $3,000 for a bed and expectations set being false and no proactive communication about the change is poor customer service. Unfortunately, when purchasing a tech product I require good customer service because something is always bound to go wrong with the product. I don't have a problem with that, but need the company to support to make sure it is rectified. I don't want to be left holding the bag and it seems that this company is bound to do that. Also, if you check their website, they have not fed any reviews into their website since September . I think that's when they knew things were going down hill and cut off their comments. They need to stop selling mattresses until they can get their operations together. Not worth the headache and follow up for such a high priced item.

If any part of the pod-pro system breaks including but not limited to the mattress encasement which is approximately $10 worth of fabric, replacements cannot be purchased, the entire $1500+ product becomes completely worthless.

After three weeks had passed with no tracking information I reached out and was told it would ship by the end of the week, which would have been May 14th. After another week passed with no tracking information I reached out again and was told it would ship May 27th to June 2nd. I could forgive the delay if they had been honest about it but at this point I have zero faith in the new delivery window and we need a mattress by the 28th so I am now scrambling to find a backup option.

I was ready to purchase this bed for my birthday until I got to the financing. This company is using, what can only be assumed, a scam financing agency. Below is what I left for "Affirm." So, I was trying to purchase a bed through eightsleep.com and on there it said "Get pre-approved for 36 months at 0% APR!" So I did. I have an email stating I've been approved for $5,000 at 0% APR for 36 months. When I try to purchase the bed, it takes me to a screen where I can choose between 3 payment options, at at a specified percent of interest, breaking it down on how much I'll be paying in interest over 36 month, then totaling the entire pay off amount at almost $5,000. This is a scam loan agency. I called and they said, "even if you're told you'll get that APR percentage, it doesn't mean you'll get it at check out." Ok... WHAT?! Scam. Stay AWAY! Not only did they lose my business, they also just cost eightsleep.com my business as well. In the email it says "starting at 0%. That means, I have the option starting at 0%. That's how that language works. Not, "starting at 0%..." and then we give you a different one on some financing spectrum. I can only chalk this up as a scam retail site if this company is going through such a scammed, dishonorable, finance entity. Eightsleep.com is definitely too good to be true.

I ordered the Pod Pro in Queen Size during their Black Friday sale. Eight Sleep specifically advertised the product as being delivered in 7-10 business days. The receipt for the item even says on it delivered in 7-10 business days. They sent me the mattress and then told me the controller and actual cooling portion of the product is not even in stock and won't ship for a month. This company engages is deceptive business practices by selling products that they don't actually have. Their customer service had the nerve to offer me a $50 amazon gift card as compensation after I purchased a $3000 mattress and cooling system that they didn't even know if they had.

The company has been trying to resolve the case for a month and then they finally got back to me and said 'Eight Sleep has been unable to verify this purchase as being eligible for promotional credit. This means no credit has been earned for this purchase and as such cannot credit your account.' This means that Eight Sleep is refusing to issue a referral payment to me. Also, the sleep tracking is super inaccurate - when I'm awake, the algorithms don't recognize this. As a machine learning engineer, I know you need accurate data for smart temperature adjustments. The Hub, which powers the bed, generates a lot of heat. Ensure you're not in a closed system or the heat will be trapped.

This company is amateur at best
This company is amateur at best. The level of customer service is what you would expect from a donkey. They give you a vague time frame of when your product will ship and then make excuses when it does not ship during the time frame. Hilariously enough, I was on the phone with them inquiring as to where my order was and little did I know (they had no clue either), the bed had already shipped with a tracking number but they were telling me it was still in the warehouse. They literally do not even know if their products have shipped or not. As many others have stated, they are very sketchy and do not give a straight answer for ANY questions. I STILL have not received the entirety of my order, just the mattress which is only 9 3/4" thick, not 11" as advertised even though it has been 2 days since I opened it. I do not recommend that anyone buy from this company, even if their product has great reviews, the process of getting it will make you grow grey hair in your armpits because of the stress from wondering if someone just scammed you for $4,500.

So my husband and I have owned an 8 bed for 3 years now and absolutely love it! This bed is not only form, fit, and function but it's a middle ground for my husband and I. I love a super soft squishy bed, and my husband likes them as hard as a rock. Well this bed has been the perfect middle ground for us both. We love the way it feels, and love the brand because this bed is perfect for us. Even after sleeping on it for three years it still feels just as good as the day we had it delivered! I must say I am still impressed. About a year ago we had trouble with our sleep tracker pod and I reached out to customer service. Not only did they have astounding customer service but they shipped us a new one within a couple of days. So customer service deserves a gold star if you ask me. One of my favorite parts is that on a cold winter day we can turn on the bed to have it warm before we even get into it. Now if you want to talk about the sleep tracker, that is a whole different subject on it's own. My husband and I we're able to adjust our sleep schedules to get better and deeper sleep longer by reading the results of sleep tracker. The app is wonderful it shows the results of my sleep and my husbands. We love looking at how many times we moved or went into the different ranges of sleep! So overall if someone says they are looking for a new bed I always tell them right is the only way to go!

We have had the Pod for a year
We have had the Pod for a year. We have had 2 leaks, and 8 Sleep was great at providing replacement grids. This review is not about that. We financed thru ***, which *** has been great. At this time we owe still about $2600 on the bed. This review is about the wifi connection. As most people are doing, we needed to improve our Wifi coverage and speed in our house, tried various wifi systems and mesh systems. Currently, the only one that has worked well for us is *** Wifi hub and point. This has created a new problem. the 8 Sleep pod can only connect to a 2.4 ghz wifi band. The wifi mesh systems don't allow you to "choose", they automatically connect devices to the correct band that they need or require. I spent all weekend, and many nights trying to reconnect the 8 Sleep Pod via their App to my wifi, and it just won't connect. 8 Sleep has been responsive, but with no help for resolving the issue, other than to say you need 2.4 GHz WiFi band. I believe I can't be the only one with this issue, and 8 Sleep Should be working hard in engineering to resolve this issue for their customers. I should not have to trick the WiFi, change systems that work for all other devices in my house, because this product is didn't think about the customer and that such WiFi mesh systems exist. I basically now have a very expensive, ok/medicore foam mattress that I owe $2600 on, no warranty, can't return. We bought this for my wife to help with menopause systems, and her back issues. The pod bed was awesome and worked well for her. Now it does not and after weeks of trying to get this thing to connect, I am still no where. I feel cheated, and can't believe there is not a software solution, or, a POD that has been changed to work with both WiFi bands so that this situation doesn't occur?

I have suffered internet outages due to flooding this whole week, come to find this product WILL NOT work without wifi, which is absurd. The alarm/vibration still functions without wifi and has to be turned off with a button, but it wont circulate water. This needs to be button enabled but because the vibration works why cant the water circulation? I do t even have auto pilot enabled because it foolishly adjusts based on OUTSIDE weather vs room temp. So its not like it needed wifi to make adjustments it should just operate on its preset schedule or at minimum be button enabled!
Desired outcome: Buttons on the device to control it without wifi.If wifi is lost default to the last set conditions vs disabling the heat/cool.
Sleep eight picked up my mattress for the partial return and do not send refund, can't reach the team
I ordered a pod 3 mattress in March and returned only the mattress as it was giving me back pain. it was within the 100-day-free-return timeframe and customer service was great until they picked up the mattress. They just stopped responding after the mattress has been picked up. I had to reach out multiple times and finally reached someone to send me the new encasement and he confirmed a refund is issued and will arrive within 3-10 business day. It has been more than a month and I haven't received the refund. I reached out multiple times and still heard no responses.
The value of the mattress is more or less $1100 plus tax. The whole experience just feels very frustrating and recently sounds fishy to me...

Everything in the order arrived except an item in the 'Sleep Essentials Bundle,' specifically the Pod Pro queen size sheet set was back ordered. We reached out to Eight Sleep and were told that the item would ship in July. The first week of July we reached out again, and were told it would ship that week. After the week came and went we reached out again and heard nothing back. We also experienced a problem with our Pod Pro bed and reached out, but were told the issue was not with the equipment but with our placement of the router. We have requested a refund for the bed under the 100-night satisfaction guarantee, but have heard NOTHING from Sleep Eight.

Eight Sleep is refusing to repair or provide a fix for my product (Eight's Smart Bed Cover). The only option they provided is to pay them $1,000 for their new product. The product I originally purchased was sold for $350. It is unreasonable to ask me to pay them $1000 to fix this problem. Furthermore, Eight Sleep has an ethical obligation to their customers to repair their existing purchases so that they don't contribute to unnecessary consumer waste. It appears that other customers have had a similar problem with this product and Eight has replaced the product twice for free. They never offered me this option. From what I have read on ComplaintsBoard.com there is a common wiring manufacturing problem with this product. This product was used during normal use. It simply stopped working.
