Mixed Experiences with EliteSingles
As an expert in the category of online dating platforms, I've come across a range of reviews about EliteSingles. While some users praise the platform for its thorough personality assessments and thoughtful prompts, others express frustration with the abundance of fake profiles and scammers. It seems that the site struggles with maintaining a safe and authentic community, leading to disappointing experiences for many users. If you're considering EliteSingles, it's essential to proceed with caution and be vigilant about reporting any suspicious activity. Ultimately, the platform's reputation appears to be a mixed bag, with both positive and negative feedback shaping the overall perception of the service.
Good option
I don't know what makes this site more elite than Mingle2day or Match but nonetheless it looks like a legit online dating site. I have tried, it did not convince me BUT I can see that it is a pretty good option.
It is worth to try
First, I signed up for eHarmony and after paying for a membership, they basically stop sending good matches. Nobody took a peak even on my profile :) I am the attractive woman. I switched to Elitesingles and was pleasantly surprised receiving quality matches every day and men started checking my profile and sending messages.
I don't regret paying for both services. I got an experience :) Good luck everyone.

Elite has very few local members so it sends me old and remote matches
Elite has very few local members so it sends me old and remote matches__-+---__-+---__-+---. Elite's services are of the lowest quality. The App is poorly designed. I cannot delete those unwanted faces on my message list. Dating and searching on this website is not pleasure but suffering. People are not members without photos, but Elite will send them to you. If you contact them then they might want to read your invitation, and pay too high membership fee. In fact the website doesn't have enough members to run as a dating site.
Good and patience
Good evening ghuys I need a simple chat meet

Scam
Complete waste of money. Glitchy. Decline matches continue to show up due to technology issue. Anyone I matched with seemed to lie about their location, as their area code didn't match with the location noted on their profile. There's only an option for a 3 month subscription, not one. They clearly state there isn't a refund after use but didn't specify the timeline upfront. I later find out, it's 3 days after using the app. They do not hold up their end of the deal, so why not extend the refund policy.
I paid: I couldn't get in: I cancelled
I paid: I couldn't get in: I cancelled. jdate continues to show my photo when I am not even there. and sends me notifications hoping I will repay. I emailed. I've sent a letter. They ignore me. I had a good photo and it's their come-on. Very Sleazy, to me.
Creators of “Christian Mingle” fail to a appropriately respond to customers reports of bugs and failing if app. They advertise what they can’t provide. Spark is a Sham.
This is a paid dating website but it doesn't take into consideration what the client wants. I couldn't see many people within the distance I chose or the age range I chose. There is no way to remove people you don't want to see and you are forced to see the same people over and over again because there aren't any options in Wichita Kansas. I attempted to contact the company several times for a refund or an explanation as to why their service and selection are so poor and they just canceled my account for after the six months I paid for is up. This service is even more useless than the free dating sites because you pay for the chance to talk to scam artists (that aren't removed) or creepy men who are interested in women who look like young girls for their sexual fantasies or men who are into bestiality. Both of those men were picked for me with the Zoosk Smartpick. It's been several weeks and the options are still awful and I haven't received a response from this worthless company. Don't waste your money. It's trash.
This company after initially canceling and asking them to remove my profile completely at same time and being refunded back in Dec 2021. Well they didn’t cancel or delete my profile. Now they charged me a renewal fee of 108.00 that went through my bank acct. I have all my email threads of the cancellation done by Alice Kelly dated Dec 21st. As of July 8 th the new charge of 108.00. Without my authorization. This profile was to be deleted. I wanted it removed completely because of fraud n fake profiles that were reaching out to me. Confirmed by elite singles who were sending me emails of profiles that were reaching out to me that I shouldn’t respond to. So I immediately wanted completely off this site. They keep renewing the membership. Forcing my profile that I don’t want and have emailed several times. On July 8 they sent me a notice that they renewed it and charged me! I emailed same day and they refuse to cancel, remove my profile and refund my 108.00. Charge I give 0 stars. I don’t complain or get upset if I make bad decisions of services I sign up for. This is straight forward fraud and I hope that this doesn’t continue happening to others.

Too many fake profiles and if that weren't bad enough, dozens of emails per day informing me of "messages" but all from fake profiles. I'm convinced hackers have gotten my email as my spam email has increased significantly. I added one star since there are a few real profiles and I have gone on a date or two from women I've met on the site. But I'm paying too much to do Spark Networks work to detect and report fake profiles.
This is possibly the worst online dating service I have used. Considering that this is my fourth one, I have much to compare it to. The service does a terrible job at vetting matches and I have had more than a dozen spam/fake/spoofed accounts contact me in less than two weeks. The site also does not require a picture in order to match. This could be ok if people were not falsifying their information. Additionally, I had one match who was from a foreign country and it was only because I am very savvy that I picked up on it. His messages had double spaces in between and the grammar/spelling was obviously not a native English speaker. I also sent them an email stating the issues I was having and that the amount of money I paid was ridiculous. I only received fake or spoofed accounts with people who want me to immediately communicate via email, What's App., or another service. I will never recommend this service unless there is a much better vetting process for people who sign up. To begin with, if people cannot add a picture, then they should not have anyone matched with them. Secondly, you message feature should scan for any request of "I showed my friend your profile..." and delete the account immediately. Third, the ability to delete matches should be much easier than having to click on the profile, then the three dots, and then delete. Additionally, once someone is reported for abuse, they should be blocked. It should not be a two-step process. There is NOTHING Elite about it and no one should waste their money on this app/website.

they advertised and I quote "thousands of singles in your area", try 5 in my area, this is completely misleading, saying "thousands". then I proceeded to "unsubscribe" to email's from this company, yet they continued. i get a message, but have to pay to read it, what a joke, im not paying for "5" people, now if there were "thousands" as they advertised, then I would probably pay. what a joke, and a rip off site.
This "business" is a scam. I have cancelled twice now and they billed me anyhow the first time. So the second time, I cancelled both on their website and through PayPal. Now they are threatening me with a legal suit for not paying up. Three months notice isn't enough?

Only one person near me within 50 miles, and after a barrage of questions, believe it or not, I have to 'upgrade' just to send that single person a message. What a rip-off, I deleted my account within 10 minutes of signing up.
I think this company should be shut down! #1 There are scammers on this site and profiles are not reviewed or removed #2 I have been trying to get my refund over 3 weeks now. #3 When you call their number you are put on hold for hrs and then your put on a call back list and you might receive a call back that day or not and the problem still does not get resolved. You keep calling and the answer is I see you are to get a refund. Let me see what is going on with your account and they never come back to the phone. I would never recommend this dating site and I wll be reporting this to the BBB.
I signed up for Jdate, and within 24 hours, my account was suspended. No explanation. No response my emails. Nothing. I followed every rule. Never even had the chance to speak to anyone. And feel like I am being targeted and defamed. Yet the company is doing nothing. I also have no criminal record, nor did I say or post anything inappropriate. There needs to be an explanation, so that I can take the necessary precautions if there is any libel against my character/or defamation towards me. Please respond to my emails. And be careful of any of the spark dating apps. Thanks.
Silver Singles is trying to ach my account when I canceled it a month ago
Silver Singles is trying to ach my account when I canceled it a month ago. My email to them yesterday requesting complete deletion of me account and advising them that I canceled a month ago was addressed as follows. None of what I just explained was addressed at all. They just told me that they were going to ach my account again and gave me an amazingly difficult and convoluted means of cancellation. Very difficult site to get rid of
Total. Rip off. Refuse calls. Placed on hold for hold for hours. Requested my cancellation for 3 weeks — no response. Just want my. 167.67 returned
This is the worst sham of a dating service I have ever seen. I just recently joined and am receiving numerous supposed contacts from other members via a "smile" being sent to me. on one evening shortly after I went to the website to check for messages, I got 15 smiles all in the span of one minute, obviously from some sort of bot. Many of these supposed members were more than 20 years younger then me. This is an obvious scam and I only wish I had checked the reviews before signing up. Now I cannot even send the customer service a message as I try to fill out their form and get a message saying to try later. I am trying to give 0 stars but probably can only give one. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!
Worst experience of my life. This site consists of approximately 95% scammers. Waste of money. I tried to contact customer service several times with no success. I'm inundated with emails from women 20-30 years younger than me. Get a new algorithm ! Or, the site is just a scam . thanks for a waste of time.

I have never written a rating here and typically never write reviews in general unless I'm unsatisfied with something (except for products I've purchased on Amazon), but in this case I want to write a very positive review. When I first joined Zoosk, I did so because both Match and eHarmony both either were currently under investigation by the government, or previously were and lost, and Zoosk was the only one that didn't have this issue. I joined and though there have been some upsetting moments, overall in my case, they really did go the extra mile regarding trying to please the customer and make up for some terrible experiences. The negative experiences were trying and it was very difficult to call and get a supervisor, but when I finally did, I was very impressed. Even when I first joined, there were times where they went the extra mile, where other sites would not have. I say this because my previous experiences with other sites have either been getting fake profiles, or poor billing practices. So I'm leaving this to say Zoosk is not perfect and I've had issues, but with some persistence and maybe taking more than just one phone call to find the right person, they really went out of their way. For this reason, I would say of the sites out that charge, I would recommend this one.
EliteSingles It's a bust
signed up with them and could not communicate with anyone since an error would pop up , sent 5 emails to both tech support and customer service and they have failed to respond or fix the issue at hand
I have disputed the charges at this point
Beware of Elite Singles they will charge you and take your money but wont provide any service or money back
EliteSingles Review: Poor Site Design and a Huge Waste of Time - 2 Stars
I recently signed up for a 6 month membership on EliteSingles, hoping to find my perfect match. However, my experience on the site was far from satisfactory. While the site claimed to match me with hundreds of members, the majority of them had nothing to do with my preferences. Despite setting up my preferences, it seemed like the site just claimed every member to be a match of some varying degree.
To make matters worse, all matches appeared in one long thread, with no way to categorize or filter them efficiently. There was no way to refer back to "maybe's" later, and the only options were to "favorite" someone or block them. This was premature if you were starting out with 400 people and trying to narrow it down, or just flat out block those who weren't actually a good fit. It was time-consuming to click through each match and eliminate them one by one. There was no way to scroll down and delete multiple users at a time, which made the process even more frustrating.
The site design was poor, and the app didn't sync properly with the website. Once you scrolled past the first 30-50 profiles, the site started freezing up, and you lost your place, forcing you to start over again. There were no filtering options, and even those that were there didn't work properly. The photo/no photo filter didn't work, and there were no private preferences.
In my opinion, there need to be more preference categories, and they need to be adhered to. There should be more filtering criteria, and more ways of sorting/categorizing/deleting or achieving. It was a waste of time and money as it is now. I wish I could get a refund, but unfortunately, I had to pay the 6 months as one lump payment up front. Now I know why...
Overall, I gave EliteSingles 2 stars for poor site design and a huge waste of time. I would have preferred to have a few matches that were actually a good fit, rather than hundreds of unsuitable matches. I hope the site improves in the future, but for now, I would not recommend it to anyone looking for a serious relationship.
Elite Singles: Expensive and Shady - A Total Waste of Money
This website is quite expensive, requiring a payment of over $125 upfront for a six-month premium membership. Without paying, you cannot communicate or view photos. However, after a few months, I noticed a concerning pattern. The same "new" members would appear every two weeks or so, with the same photo and profile, even though they should not be able to sign up again for at least six months. Many of the profiles seem fake or padded, with broken English and claims of being from the US, but clearly not. When I pointed this out, I only received emojis and no responses. As a good-looking guy, I have had success on other dating sites, but this one seems to have a lot of shady activity. I even found the same profile picture under different names and cities. It seems like Elite Singles has no incentive to be honest or accurate, as they collect the full subscription upfront with no refunds, even if you cancel after one month. I would not recommend wasting your money on this site, as it is unlikely to provide matches meeting your criteria. It is a total waste of money, and I wouldn't be surprised if the FCC eventually shuts it down.
Elite Singles Review: Obnoxious Questionnaires, Generic Profiles, and No Follow-Through
Elite Singles is a dating site that provides matches for you, so you don't have to go looking. They use a personality profile questionnaire to help find your match, but let's be real, who actually looks at that? It's just a bunch of obnoxious questions that nobody wants to answer. Plus, can you really trust someone's self-rating on a dating site? Everyone rates themselves as kind, generous, and wonderful people.
Another issue with Elite Singles is that many people don't post a photo or even say anything personal about themselves. It's all generic, and who can say no to a wish that no one would ever go hungry again? But how are you supposed to connect with someone if you don't even know what they look like or anything about them?
Elite Singles also wants photos, but can a fully paid member filter out those without photos? Nope, they don't let you do it. So, you'll spend an inordinate amount of time deleting people without photos one by one. And if someone doesn't want to submit a photo to a dating site, doesn't that make you wonder?
You can also specify your preferences, but Elite Singles doesn't always follow them. For example, if you live in Boston and ask for a small radius, why are you getting high school educated truck drivers from Maine? It doesn't make sense.
Lastly, Elite Singles puts "In Review" next to some of your profile information, but do they ever actually review it? Nope, it's just a farce. Some of my most innocuous information has been "in review" for six months. So, don't believe that Elite Singles is doing anything to verify a single scrap of information posted.
To make matters worse, they keep sending me the same people I already rejected. Within the first six months, we're already into recycle mode. It's not a good sign. I've canceled my membership because there's nothing elite about this site.
Beware of Elite Singles: Limited Options, Fake Profiles, and Unauthorized Charges
I decided to give Elite Singles a try since I recently moved to a new area and wanted to meet new people. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the limited number of options in my area, but I don't blame Elite Singles for that. What did catch me off guard, however, was the number of fake listings mixed in with the real ones. These fake profiles would try to connect with me on another platform after just saying hello, and they all used the same language in their responses. It was pretty obvious that they were fake.
I cancelled my subscription weeks before the next payment was due and received an email confirming that it was cancelled. I even edited my profile to remove any personal details and pictures. But to my surprise, Elite Singles still charged my account after I had done everything correctly to end my subscription. I requested a credit for the unauthorized charge several times, but I only received an email from Elite Singles in Berlin, Germany asking for a bunch of personal information and a scanned copy of my bank statement. That's a major red flag for me - I'm not comfortable handing over access to my finances to a company in another country.
There's no phone number to call for customer service, only email. My advice to anyone considering Elite Singles or its sister companies is to beware. I went into it with an open mind, but it ended up being the same as another site I used years ago. If you're looking for a long-term commitment or marriage and can afford it, I would recommend reaching out to a true matchmaker instead.
EliteSingles Review: Scummy Payment Tactics and Disappointing Results
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with EliteSingles. I spent a good 4 hours creating my account, answering all sorts of questions in detail, adding pictures, and all that jazz. And then, when I was finally done, I found out that I had to pay to actually use the site. Now, I don't mind paying for things, but the thing is, they didn't mention anything about payment on the main page or during the sign-up process. It's a pretty scummy trick, if you ask me. They let you spend all this time creating your profile, getting attached to it, and then they hit you with a mandatory $15+ per month fee.
I tried the "free" version, but it was pretty terrible. I hardly got any matches within 50 miles, and all the pictures were blurred out until I paid for a membership. It's like they're trying to force you to pay just to see what the other users look like.
So, I decided to bite the bullet and pay for a membership. I chose the $15 per month option for a 12-month membership, but then they charged my card for the entire 12 months all at once. That's not what I signed up for, and it's definitely not okay. When I contacted support to request a refund, they flat-out refused.
I'm not one to take this kind of thing lying down, so I filed a dispute with my credit card company. I'm still waiting to get my money back, but I'm hopeful that it'll work out.
Honestly, I was really excited to try out EliteSingles. I was even planning on deleting Tinder for it. But now, I feel pretty violated. I was looking forward to using this site, but now I just feel like they took advantage of me.
If you're looking for an alternative dating site, I'd suggest checking out Pure or Tinder. Pure is a hook-up app that might be up your alley, and Tinder is the best dating app out there right now. It's free to use, but they do have a paid option if you want some extra features. Good luck out there!
EliteSingles Review: Frustrating Matches, Flaws in System, but Good Customer Service and Refund Policy - 2 Stars
I gotta say, I read some of the other reviews for EliteSingles and I gotta agree with them. My experience with the platform wasn't great at all. I set my preferences for age and location, but it seemed like the site didn't really care about that. Most of my "matches" were people who were completely different from what I was looking for. It was frustrating, to say the least.
Another thing that bothered me was that I'm not sure if they keep old accounts on the site after they're supposed to be deleted. I asked for my profile to be deleted and I deleted my pictures, but I couldn't delete the answers to my questions. I think that's a flaw in the system.
However, when I reached out to customer service, they did respond quickly. At first, they said they wouldn't issue a refund for the 5 months I had prepaid for and wasn't going to use because I had deleted my account. But after some back and forth, they did end up giving me a refund.
I think if you have a real case and are willing to stay off the site, you can get a refund. If you don't think the site is for you and they didn't fulfill their obligations (which I don't think they did), you should get a refund for the time you're not going to use. Even if you got the 6-month membership like I did, because you were hopeful.
Overall, I don't think EliteSingles is worth the time or money. But maybe it's for some people. I highly recommend just getting the one month and seeing if it's a good match for you. It might be.
I wish everyone luck with online dating. It's just not for me, I guess. Especially in a small town during COVID times.
I gave EliteSingles 2 stars because the customer service did come through in the end. But I would give 0 stars for the site itself based on my experience.
EliteSingles' Unprofessional Approach to Country Exclusion: My Experience
I recently signed up for EliteSingles, a dating website that promises to connect like-minded individuals looking for love. I was excited to join and filled out over 20 questions, uploaded my pictures, and paid my subscription fee with my card. As a resident of Latvia, I was eager to share information about my country and its beautiful places with other members. I started conversations with some of the members who were linked to my profile over the weekend. However, to my surprise, my profile was deleted after just 24 hours without any warning or notice. I received a message stating that my IP address did not match the country Latvia.
I immediately contacted EliteSingles and provided my contact details to prove that I am a real person who paid with a card issued by a Latvian bank. However, the response I received was unexpected. EliteSingles stated that their website is not supported in the country where I reside and apologized for the inconvenience. They suggested that if I relocate, they would be happy to set up my profile again.
I was disappointed with EliteSingles' unprofessional approach. They did not state this fact on their website, nor did they prevent me from setting up my profile. This was damaging to other members who had already started conversations with me and were waiting for my reply. They had no idea that EliteSingles had deleted my profile without explanation. This lack of transparency can cause psychological damage to members who express interest in establishing friendships with someone who later disappears. It can be seen as rejection, which can be disappointing and discouraging.
I strongly suggest that EliteSingles make a clear and visible announcement on their website about which countries are excluded from their service. It is unfair to assume that there are no professional people in countries like Latvia. This exclusion can make people feel unimportant and unvalued.
I wrote this review to prevent confusion about mysteriously disappearing profiles from EliteSingles. I hope that my review will help others who may experience the same situation. It is important to be transparent and honest with members to avoid emotional distress. I do not want anyone to feel emotionally befriended and rejected. If my review can help at least one person, it is worth my efforts. Thank you, EliteSingles, for ruining my experience.
EliteSingles Complaints 103
I kept hearing about them, but no, they still suck!
I originally tried this when the site was rather new about 2, or 2 1/2 years ago. And right away I was completely suspicious of the site activity. When sites like this start up, They won't have the traffic to pull people over from other sites and be competitive... So they hire SHILLS from East Asian countries like Philippines and others that speak English, to fill out their database with fake profiles from all over the US...
It was very obvious and none of these prospects or fake profiles contacted me, or even made the slightest attempt at being conversational... I filed a charge back and had a look at their BB records and basically they are paying Google to keep their website in the top 10, which really pisses me off when I do a search nowadays and it still pops up, last time at #1! Congrats you took a scam to #1... or at least you paid a search engine, for a high rating, over using the last when it has never ever been a site of any repute.
In fact there are very few that I could actually recommend, But certainly there are ones that are populated with actual people! All of those personality models are made with the same simple algorithm... which doesn't work, no matter how many of their dumb questions you answer. People on this site are just too lazy to throw that rock at the corner bar!
It's interesting to note that the top 5 personal sites they are all owned by the same company, including elite singles, and akso the reason that they can afford to pour all of this money into it. Basically these websites are in business to stay in business and getting you hooked up with a actual prospective mate is not even their #1 priority. The only thing they are trying to do is give you hope that their algorithm and their website will give you the edge over real life, when in many situations it's actually the opposite. If they can keep you on the site for years at a time, they make even more money. The only thing they are actually interested in is how many of these websites can the market support nationally! That's why the 1st 5 sites are all owned by them... possibly more...
By owning as many as they can in the actual market they are aware of how saturated the market is and how many it can actually support.
And one thing I really despise about this is that that the algorithm is is very limited in scope and doesn't let you do even simple keyword searches... And unlike almost every other competitors site, this one will not let you try anything for free... meaning you will not get any functionality of your profile for the hours worth of work you put into it answering the dumb questions... Your profile will not do s*** until you pay the money! No test ride... just throw your money down a hole and face odds MORE DAUNTING, than if you went to the corner bar, threw a rock and hit a girl! It's THAT bad, not to mention riddled with scammers, often times as many as genuine ads, but they leave the scammers in. Because they fill out the numbers! Yep! They really suck!
These guys regularly scour and scrub comments against their website off the net because they don't want people to see them and understand that they are completely worthless completely meaningless personal website. But one thing they can't hide is the history of complaints that the Better Business Bureau has on them and even though they have dealt with almost all of them you'll be able to see the history of what makes this the worst personal website ever.
There are pictures and screen shots I have going back before I met my wife. They can do something. They won't.
Not really a scam, but definitely not worth the [very expensive] price!
After registering for a free (basic) membership on this site, completing a "personality test", and, finally, filling out an extensive user profile (a process which took several hours to complete), I found out that I had to purchase a "Premium Membership" simply to view the FACES of any of the other members, let alone send someone a message. I had received numerous emails with subjects entitled "Meet your matches!" and "Your profile has been visited - curious?" almost immediately after registering. Naturally, I WAS very curious about who was interested in me, and was anxious to see with whom I had been matched. However, the least expensive option for a Premium membership was $69.95, and that was only for a single month of access! I wasn't about to pay that much money for a dating site that I knew nothing about, despite my curiosity (which was greatly impacted by the aforementioned steady stream of emails that I was receiving, which led me to believe that there were many women interested in me).
I decided to email Customer Care and complain about how I had already completed a profile, that I would like to try out Elite Singles, but that the cost of a one month subscription was far too expensive at $69.95 (especially compared to a site like Adult Friend Finder, which only costs $29.95 for a one month "gold" membership). I was shocked to receive a reply offering me a free 3-day trial of their premium service. Realizing the value of this gift, I spent much of time during the next three days on the site. I filled out my profile completely (well, almost; the site has a "completeness gauge," and it stated that my profile was 85% complete). I was notified that I had "new matches," which I was excited to review. Very few (if any) of my matches lived close to me (within 100 miles); however, I was not surprised by this, as I had been a gold member on Adult Friend Finder for some time, and I rarely found any women located near me. I sent out MANY messages and "likes" (both to my matches and to anyone I could find within 300 miles of my location), hoping to get a response. However, at the end of my 3-day trial period, I found that I had not received a single reply to my messages (despite the fact that my profile had been viewed numerous times, and that I had been matched to over a hundred other women).
Besides this obvious lack of active members, I found three other major problems with the site: 1.) You can only see the name of the city that another member lives in, not the state. So, unless the person lives in a large city, there is no way to know how close they are to you. 2.) At least HALF of the members (likely more) that I was matched with did not include a single photo of themselves in their profile! (so, well over 100 members) 3.) I would conservatively estimate that 80% of the members that I was matched with had filled out less than 25% of the information on their profile (a more realistic estimate would be that 90% of the members had filled out around 10% of their profiles).
Also, based on the few women on the site who actually had posted pictures and completed a profile, I didn't find hardly any of them to be very "elite" (as one would expect, given the site's moniker). In fact, I would consider very few of the women even "attractive" (and I am not a tough critic) - I would give my matches an average rating of 6 out of 10 in terms of attractiveness. Moreover, since so many of my matches had filled out so little of their profiles (and NONE of them had responded my messages), I am not even able to give an average rating based on personality.
One final annoyance: the site would send me emails with subjects claiming that I had new "messages." However, I discovered that the creators of Elite Singles had redefined the word "message"; in every case, when I received an email claiming that I had a new "message," I found that my "message" was nothing more than an alert that one of my matches had (finally) uploaded a picture to their profile! What a let down!
Dating site that claims to match you with other single members
Dating site that claims to match you with other single members. There is a basic membership offered which is a free service. The basic membership allows you to set up a profile in the network, and this profile is utilized to match you with paid members. The basic membership will apprise you of a match via your personal email, but you cannot communicate with the paid member until you upgrade to paid status. Therefore, paying members (me) who receive a "match" notification are matched most usually with a non-paying member who is in the system. In my three week membership, I have sent out over 150 emails to my "matches". Nonetheless, I have received only email responses from 4 people. In requesting information from Spark, they state they have matched me with over 500 people, and my parameters are too strict. They also suggested that I should not take non-responses personally, because there are so many people out there! The statistics do not support 4 responses in 150+ outreaches; obviously, greater than the majority are only basic membership. Additionally, I have received multiple duplicate matches, and in apprising Spark of this, I was asked to provide "screenshots". I deleted the duplicates, I do not have the capability to screenshot. Do they not have access to all of that information? How are they matching people, and ensuring that profile requirements are being met? In addition to the duplicate matches, my matches have not followed my requirements of age and distance. This dating site is duplicitous, and should either be banned or force full disclosure that most "members" are non-paying. Armed with that information, one can then decide if it is worth the money-and odds to have a paid subscription.
I was a member of silver singles for six months and was able to use the app. Once my membership ended the company tried to continue my membership however, when I tried to log on to the app it stated it was elite dating. On my iPhone silver singles offers an 18.00 a month membership but they were charging me 116.70 for another 6 months which I did not want. I tried to cancel immediately but they have created their own version of their story and it's not acceptable. I do not want to maintain my membership and I want a refund of all except for 18.00 for one month. I want 98.70 returned to me. I feel that silver singles misrepresents itself in the market and is not an ethical company. First of all, why do silver singles go to elite dating when I am not a member of elite dating. They think that because the people who join are over 50 that the people are not with it and will accept any conditions. I am also not happy with the people on the app at all. I no longer wish to work with them at all.
I originally signed up for this service and cancelled it so it was set to NOT auto renew automatically but I was charged for another 6 months. I cancelled the service within 3 days of first signing up so I would not be charged again. I understand my original charge from June 2021 valid but not the one from December 2021. They fraudulently have charged my card another time. I have reached out for a refund but haven't heard back.
I requested to close out my account and was told it would continue until subscription ended which was to be this month, I have no proof because you just select a button and that's it. Yesterday I found my account was deducted $81 for a renewed subscription, I emailed the customer service and they stated they would stop the renewal process but I would not be refunded my money despite it being the same day, I'm not sure when I closed the account but they should see it was done within the week of it being renewed, please assist.

Online dating app/service
I signed up for the EliteSingles dating app approximately 2-1/2 weeks ago, and since then I've had 5 scammers contact me through the app. Two were brought to my attention via the app and three more were reported to EliteSingles by me. While I'm on several other dating apps at the moment and have used them for a couple years, off and on, I've never had so many scammers attempt to contact me in such a short amount of time. I'm concerned about my online safety and identity, due to the sheer volume of scammers that get through in this one app alone.
Also, it's virtually impossible to find the "customer care" contact form on their website. There are instructions on how to fill out their contact form and that Customer Care can be found under their Help pages, but no way to easily find this Customer Care that they speak of.

Renewed account without authorization
Signed up in June 2023. Took down profile and selected not to renew 2 weeks before my subscription terminated. I was charged a renewal fee August 14, 2023. Sent in a request to cancel my account and refund money. Never heard from them. They have NO phone number. Thank goodness I used my Capital One credit card. They will dispute the charge.
This is not a viable dating site. Lots of scams. Did not meet one person I wished to pursue. DO NOT use Elite Singles.
Desired outcome: Bank is disputing charges.
Scam
You are falsely advertising which is unlawful. How can you have the word "singles" in your name, when the very first "match" you gave me is a guy who's married?!
"Things that Rick would never part with:
. . . I love my children the best and my dog. I also love my wife."
I just paid a year in advance, without an option to try this service for a month.
Now I know why. You're in the business of misleading and stealing from people.
You are a venue for people to cheat on their spouses; and those platforms get extremely negative attention in the news. Please remove "Rick" and any other married guy's filthy profiles seeking extramarital affairs -- with innocent people seeking SINGLES. As in Elite"Singles." Or you'll make the news in a way you do not want to.
7:30 8.13.23
Desired outcome: Reply. [protected]@gmail.com. Act. Get married guys off your "singles" platform.
Elite singles data handling and sham
I have not had an Elite Singles (full account for years). I looked at the sight and what it offered and never really used or pursued it as the profiles looked fake and it was expensive.
This week (7/16/23) I got an email saying my Elite Singles data/profile was possibly compromised. I was surprised becuase I was not even subscribed to it.
I notified the "service" link provided to remove all profiles, data (test and production enironments) and all data and pictures related to me.
The next couple days 7/20/23 I got a nasty email (attached) and below saying my profile and data was removed bacause if lied on my profile and was posting demeaning comments. I HAVE NOT EVEN USED this site!
Something shady going on - REPLICATING and using my data withour permission in systems and sites is wrong!

July 12, 2023. After reading terms and conditions, privacy act, joined site with free subscription. Filled out profile, uploaded photos. Received matches decided to join with 6 month pay option. Once pay transaction page completed, directed to name address form. Site kept telling me (error message)to input # of home and zip code even though info inputted was correct. Tried 3 times re-inputting, no success, loop back to same error message.
Attempt to go to matches section to see matches. Got kicked off site. Went to log in and error message stating password incorrect. Made 3 attempts with password (I wrote down at initial joining) same error message. Emailed to reset password 6 times and have not gotten email from them. Yes checked junk mail not there either.
Checked CC statement and charges for 6 month joining went through. Went back to site and started from beginning (new user) and it stated email already established. This confirms my email is correct and is in their system.
Why no email received from them after 6 request to change, sounds like take your money and run scam.
Desired outcome: Reset password or refund back to CC.
Dating service
I am complaining about the lack of a contact form on the Elite single website. The site refers to it but it is impossible to find - probably because it doesn't exist.
Similarly the cancel subscription button does not work, it just comes up with a message to cancel premier membership first, which I've already done.
Also, my age range preferences are continually ignored, so I am sent matches older than I want, despite repeatedly trying to correct this by stating my requirements.
Desired outcome: Cancel my membership and delete my account.I would like a refund of my premier membership fee.
I cancelled and they tried to take money after I cancelled and no phone number to talk to anyone!!
I cancelled my account as of June 20,2023. My bank notified me that they attempted to charge me again I went in again and hit cancel again have spent over an hour trying to get someone to chat, e-mail to talk to, to no avail! Worst customer service I have ever run into in my 75 yrs of life! I want my account cancel my profile taken down and rate you as the worst customer service ever!
Desired outcome: I want my account cancel led, my profile taken down as of 06/20/2023 and rate you as the worst customer service ever.
Elite Singles Review: Unethical Practices, Poor Customer Service, and Unpleasant Subscribers
I decided to give Elite Singles a try because they claimed to cater to professional and educated singles. Although the price was higher than other dating sites I had tried, I thought it was worth the investment because of their advanced algorithm and the quality of their subscribers. However, my experience with Elite Singles was far from satisfactory.
The first issue I encountered was that my profile went live without being approved, which meant that half of my information was missing and there was no picture. Then, they rejected my occupation. As a certified Reiki Practitioner with my own practice, I take pride in my work and the services I offer to my community. Unfortunately, Elite Singles did not recognize my occupation and did not provide any way for me to contact customer service through the app.
When I decided to cancel my subscription, I finally received an email from customer service. I raised the issues I had experienced, but the agent simply told me to choose an occupation from the drop-down list, which did not include Reiki at all. I was shocked by their lack of ethics and integrity. It seemed like they were more concerned with making a profit than providing a quality service to their subscribers.
Furthermore, the subscribers on Elite Singles were often rude and pretentious. While I understand that this is not the fault of the site itself, it did not make for a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a genuine and meaningful connection with someone, I would not recommend Elite Singles. In fact, I would say that it is the worst dating site I have ever used. Even Tinder, which is known for its casual hookups, is better than Elite Singles.
In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering Elite Singles to think twice before signing up. The high price and lack of customer service, combined with the site's unethical practices and unpleasant subscribers, make it a poor choice for anyone looking for a genuine connection.
Navigating the World of Online Dating: My Experience with EliteSingles
So, I recently joined EliteSingles and I have to say, it's been an interesting experience. I've come across some profiles that seem too good to be true, and unfortunately, they are. I've received messages from people claiming that their friend saw my profile and was intrigued by it. They go on to describe this friend's physical attributes and how beautiful they are, and then provide an email address for me to contact them. It all seems fishy to me.
I've actually emailed a few of these "perspectives" and when I ask them certain questions, they never reply. I even tried calling one of the phone numbers they provided, but it turned out to be bogus. It's frustrating because I'm genuinely looking for a friend or maybe even a relationship, and these people are just playing games.
I think it's important for people to be aware of these scams and to be cautious when using dating sites. It's easy to get caught up in the excitement of meeting new people, but we need to be careful and protect ourselves.
On a positive note, I have come across some genuine profiles and have had some great conversations. I appreciate that EliteSingles takes the time to match people based on their personalities and interests. It's a refreshing change from other dating sites where it's all about swiping left or right.
Overall, I think EliteSingles is a good option for people who are serious about finding a meaningful connection. Of course, there are always going to be scammers and fake profiles, but that's just the reality of online dating. My advice is to be cautious, ask questions, and trust your instincts. And if you do come across any suspicious activity, don't hesitate to report it to the authorities. The Internet Crime Complaint Center is a great resource for this. Good luck out there!
Disappointing Experience with EliteSingles: Spam Accounts, Useless Matching Criteria, and Bugs Galore
I gotta say, I'm pretty disappointed with EliteSingles. Like many others have mentioned, the amount of spam accounts and messages is just ridiculous. I've tried other dating sites before and sure, I'd come across a few fake accounts here and there, but with EliteSingles it was like I was getting bombarded with fake "smiles" every single day. It's pretty clear that the people running this site either don't care or don't know how to deal with this issue. I only lasted about two weeks before I got fed up and deleted my account. In that time, I only exchanged messages with two accounts that I think were actually real.
Another big problem with EliteSingles is their matching criteria. It's basically useless. You can't filter by age, location, education level, or anything else that actually matters. They ask you if these things are important to you, but it's just a way to make you feel like you're doing something. The site claims to be for "elite" singles, but I don't see any evidence of that. It seems like there are just as many regular people on there as there are people with advanced degrees.
And don't even get me started on the bugs. The "Have you met?" feature, which is supposed to be like Tindr, just doesn't work sometimes. It's frustrating and makes me wonder if anyone at EliteSingles even bothered to test the site before launching it.
To top it all off, they make you take this long quiz and then you have to pay to see your matches or the first set of incoming messages. It's pretty deceptive and feels like a waste of time.
Honestly, I wish there was some way to take legal action against EliteSingles. The service is so bad that it makes me wonder if it's even a legitimate site. But for now, I'm just going to stick to going out to singles events in my city. I probably won't meet anyone who's interested in me there either, but at least it'll be more fun and less expensive than using EliteSingles.
EliteSingles Review: High Price, Low Expectations
I was hesitant to try out EliteSingles due to the high price, but I stumbled upon a deal that made it more affordable. It's worth noting that the price varied depending on the search engine I used. As a male seeking a male partner, my experience may differ from others.
The sign-up process and format are similar to other dating sites I've used. However, it took a long time for my profile to be approved. I had to call customer service three weeks after initiating the process, and my age still hasn't been corrected as of late March 2021. Additionally, changes I made to my profile four weeks ago are still "in review."
I've also had trouble with altering my wording to better reflect myself. EliteSingles rejected my changes because they didn't match their suggestions, which missed the point entirely.
Many of the match suggestions I've received don't have profile photos, and some are completely inappropriate. Like other sites, I received a message saying my preferences were too strict when I indicated that I can't tolerate smokers. This may mean that I won't receive as many suggested matches.
I wasn't fooled by the initial personality questions, but I answered them anyway. Perhaps that's why I'm receiving matches with little else in common. It's possible that I could find someone disciplined like myself to cuddle with in front of the TV every night of the year.
Overall, my experience with EliteSingles has been disappointing. I recommend keeping your expectations low and searching for competitive prices. The sites seem to draw from the same pool of users, so it's worth trying out for yourself.
EliteSingles Review: Disappointing Algorithm, Limited Matches, and Exploitative Practices
I gotta say, EliteSingles ain't all it's cracked up to be. I mean, I wish I had found other sites before this one, but like most folks, I trusted that they would treat me right. Boy, was I wrong! These guys are all about making a buck, and they don't care who they exploit to get it.
The algorithm they use is just plain awful. I mean, you'll get these so-called "ideal matches" that leave you scratching your head. And they only give you like 4 or 5 profiles a week! How are you supposed to find love with that kind of drip-feed? And to make matters worse, most of these profiles don't even have photos or complete information. When I complained about it, they just told me that not everyone pays for membership, and not everyone bothers to fill out their profile. What kind of excuse is that?
And don't even get me started on the "wildcard matches." Sure, they send you 20 of them at a time, but most of them are non-paying members who live thousands of miles away from you. And they want you to message all of them? Come on, EliteSingles, you're just using us as bait to get more people to join!
I paid for a six-month subscription, but I made sure to cancel the automatic renewal. The money isn't the issue here, it's the fact that I feel like I've been taken advantage of. And the way they treat their customers is just plain wrong. I wouldn't recommend EliteSingles to anyone.
My Experience with EliteSingles: Disappointing Matches, Difficult Refund Process, and Safety Concerns
I heard about EliteSingles from a friend and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience was not great. I only used the site for two days and found that most of my matches were not suitable for me. Many of them were located outside of my designated geographical area and were not professionals or highly educated. I decided to cancel my premium membership within the three-day window allowed by law and requested a refund. However, the process was not easy. The company charges the full amount of the several-month contract up front and it was difficult to find the links to delete my account, request contract cancellation, and request a refund. When I finally got to the third step, the form asked for a code that was in my profile, which I could not access because I had already cancelled it. It took me several attempts to delete my profile and there was no human to talk to for help.
One of the main reasons I cancelled my membership was because I did not feel safe on the site. I received many emails saying that "X might be interested" and "your profile is popular," which felt overwhelming. I also came across a man who was obviously married, which is unfortunately common on dating websites, but I expected better from a site that is supposed to be better-vetted. Additionally, anyone can claim to be anything on this site and none of the information provided is verified. This was a major turn-off for me. I was looking for men in the senior age bracket of 58-70 and found that many of them answered the "children?" question with "someday maybe." This was not what I was looking for and there should be a way to filter those types of profiles out.
Overall, I would not recommend EliteSingles. The site was not user-friendly and I did not feel safe using it. The matches I received were not suitable for me and the refund process was difficult. I would suggest looking for other dating sites that are more user-friendly and have better vetting processes.
EliteSingles Review: Scammers, Fake Profiles, and Terrible Security - Stay Away!
This website is a complete mess. I don't even know where to start. There are so many scammers and fake profiles on here, and the site administrators don't seem to care at all. I've received countless messages from people claiming to be leaving the site and wanting to introduce me to their friends. It's the same message over and over again, and when I report them, the site takes them down. But why do I have to be the one to report them? Why can't the site be more proactive about catching these scammers before they bother their customers? It's like they're waiting for us to do their job for them.
And don't even get me started on the site's security. Last night, someone hacked into my account and deleted all of my pictures except for one. They also contacted dozens of women on the site, pretending to be me. I was completely shocked that the site's security could be so terrible. When I contacted the site administrators about it, they did nothing. I even tried to warn some of the women who had been contacted by the hacker, but the site kicked me off for "giving them bad publicity."
It's clear that the people who run this site don't care about their customers at all. They're more concerned with making money than with providing a safe and enjoyable dating experience. My advice? Stay far away from EliteSingles. There are plenty of other dating sites out there that actually care about their customers.
Disappointing Experience with EliteSingles: Expensive, Frustrating, and Lacking in Matching Quality
When I first signed up for EliteSingles, I was a bit confused by their pricing structure. They offer an annual membership, which seems odd for a site that claims to be so successful at matching people. Why would I need to commit to a whole year if they're so good at finding me a match? It made me a bit skeptical, but I decided to give it a try anyway.
I went with the cheapest option, which was the annual membership. However, I quickly realized that they charge you for the whole year upfront, rather than a monthly charge "guaranteed" for 12 months. This was a bit frustrating, but I decided to stick with it and see if the service was worth it.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the results. There was nothing "elite" about the site, and I didn't feel like they understood the concept of matching at all. They don't offer any filters to help you find someone who shares your goals or preferences, which made it difficult to find someone who was a good match for me.
The site also has a bit of a cold, corporate feel to it, which made it hard to connect with other users. And when I tried to get my money back, I found that the customer service was less than helpful.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend EliteSingles to anyone looking for a dating site. It's expensive, frustrating to use, and doesn't deliver on its promises. Save your time and money and look for a better service elsewhere.
Unprofessional and Unhelpful: My Negative Experience with EliteSingles
I recently had an experience with EliteSingles, and I have to say, it was not a positive one. I was charged without being notified, and it caused me to fall behind on my rent. I spoke to a representative named Katie Berns, and she was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I asked why they didn't notify me before charging me, and she simply replied that they had to charge the same amount as last time. I was frustrated because I didn't know if I wanted to renew my membership, and it would have been helpful to receive an email asking if I wanted to continue.
When I saw the email saying my membership had been renewed and paid for, I immediately contacted EliteSingles to request a refund. I explained that I had lost my job due to COVID-19 and was struggling to pay my rent, but Katie didn't seem to care. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional, and when I asked to speak to her manager, she didn't even reply.
I understand that times are tough for everyone right now, but that's no excuse for charging people without notifying them. I have friends who are on other dating sites, and they all receive emails asking if they want to renew their membership before being charged. That's the professional way to do things, and it shows integrity.
I was charged $108 on January 23rd via PayPal, and I immediately emailed EliteSingles to request a refund. However, no one got back to me, and I'm still struggling to pay my rent. I really need my money back, and I hope that EliteSingles will show some compassion and help me out. Overall, I would not recommend this company to anyone.
Elite Singles: A Disappointing Waste of Time and Money
Elite Singles is a dating website that promises to connect you with professional and elite singles who are serious about finding a relationship. However, my experience with this service has been nothing short of disappointing. I received matches that were at least 100 miles away from where I live, which is not practical for anyone unless they have unlimited resources or all the time in the world. When I reached out to the customer service team, they threw the three-day cancellation policy at me with a smile.
I knew about the cancellation policy before joining, but nowhere on the website did it say that there might not be any eligible men in my local area. If there are no matches in my area, then the company should be honest with its subscribers and provide them with real statistics instead of fantasy land numbers that build their hopes up. It's sad that this company preys on the emotional needs of people like myself who are looking for a genuine connection.
The marketing team deserves a gold star for fooling me and probably many others who work hard every day for their money. Money doesn't grow on trees, and I'm all for getting what I pay for. I know what quality is, and I know a good value when I see one. Unfortunately, this subscription is a farce and a big waste of time.
As a veteran online dating subscriber, I enjoy being single and meeting new people. Online dating is a source of entertainment for me, and I enjoy it. However, with Elite Singles, it has been nothing but frustration and disappointment. 98% of the matches they sent me were at least 100 miles away, which is not practical for anyone.
I plan to write a review on Yelp and a couple of other sites to warn unsuspecting people about this joke of a "premium" dating service and how they rip people off. It's time for Elite Singles to be honest with their subscribers and provide them with real statistics about the availability of eligible singles in their local area.
About EliteSingles
One of the key features of EliteSingles is its sophisticated matchmaking algorithm that uses a comprehensive personality test to match members based on their compatibility. The test is based on the Five Factor Model of personality traits and assesses various aspects of a person's character, such as openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. This helps the platform to identify compatible matches who share similar values, interests, and lifestyles.
Another notable feature of EliteSingles is its user-friendly interface that makes it easy for members to navigate the website and find what they are looking for. The platform offers a range of search filters that allow members to refine their search based on various criteria, such as age, location, education, and income. This makes it easier for members to find matches that meet their specific preferences and requirements.
EliteSingles also offers a range of communication tools that allow members to interact with each other and get to know each other better. These include messaging, chat rooms, and a unique feature called "Icebreakers" that helps members start a conversation with their matches by asking fun and interesting questions.
Overall, EliteSingles is a top-notch dating platform that offers a high-quality dating experience to its members. Its sophisticated matchmaking algorithm, user-friendly interface, and range of communication tools make it an ideal choice for educated and successful singles who are looking for a serious and long-term relationship.
