Unprofessional dishonesty
This group of people are dishonest, crooks. You can have your vehicle almost paid off and be late a few days and they will take your vehicle a way they scandals of making more money off the customer. I would highly suggest not to use these crooks. You can call the towing company here in Daytona that does their recovery and they will tell you the same. I have also file a complaint with the state of Florida business regulations and with the state attorney office regarding the crookedness of this group. I will be at the next open state representative meeting and see that businesses like this be put out if business
title loans on cars
This is the worst place ever to get a loan do not Title Loan your car you will pay 100% on it my loan was for 500 and I paid 1200 back. Then they put a hold on my tag because I was late on a payment now it's 2 months later and I can't get my tag for 3 days because of them. It's been a year in my loan still isn't paid off I still have $287 to pay so I really...

I paid off two loans with embassy and the last one I paid on June 12th, 2015. I was told that I would be able to get my title back in 10 business days and this lien is still on there. I spoke to the title department yesterday and she informed me that this lien would be off today. The lien is still on there. My truck was inoperable for 5 months and I had no payments deferred, when I was told I would receive them. I was late on 2 payments (which I was told that those were being deferred, due to me just getting the vehicle back from aamco. The truck was getting a new transmission installed) and my truck was taken. After this I paid off the loan in full on June 12th, 2015. I am tired of this company lying to me and I would like the title clean like I was told by 3 employees here. I feel like I was played around with and lied to.Can someone who has communication skills and can actually do their job get the lien off my title. I have spoken to Jenny, Sandy (mainly), Marlena (title dept). I have been to the DMV twice to get my title and its wasting my time and gas. I am missing work and I need someone to actually comply with what they say, instead of speaking to liars. When I called yesterday, I was told that the lien would be gone today, yet here is this lien that has cost me lots of money and frustration.

They are scammers and you won't get loan from them
I had the horrible situation with the company Embassy Loans Inc. I filled the application and provided them some documents. After that I went to the car inspection and they approved my loan. But when I went to Money Gram, it turned out that there wasn’t money for me. I tried to contact the rep, but no one replied. I understood that they are scammers and I wouldn’t get any money from them, but I lost money and want to get them back. Please, post your comments if you have the similar situation.
Embassy loans is the worst company I've ever dealt with in my life they lie and sell you alone and then tell you that you have to buy insurance when you already have comprehensive coverage. They tell you that the insurance can be cancelled at any time to which it cannot. They make it impossible for you to pay your bill by charging you exorbitant fees in information world this is not something that they have to do. They make it so you can only borrow $2, 000 intentionally so they can charge you a 30% interest fee on top of the $700 that they make you get when you're in a jam on this coverage that they say in case you get in an accident it will cover your loan. They repossess my car halfway into my payments then they tried to charge me a $500 Towing fee as well as $200 erroneous fees totaling $700 I only owe them approximately $1, 500 to which they wanted me to pay them $2, 300 to get my car back. They also said I had to pay to get my own personal property from inside my car to which I contacted the state attorney general and that is not true. They are supposed to give you a 10-day notice to tell you when your car is being sold and where it is being sold that was not done either. The State of Florida needs to put an end to this predatory lending customer service does not work with you they do not communicate with each other and you're on hold for a good 45 minutes. I was told that my car would not be repoed I was approximately 10 days late but because my loan was halfway through being paid off they took it because they thought it would be more profitable. Run for your life from this company they are scammers liars and cheaters and the State of Florida needs to put all car title loans out of business. They did this approximately 10 years ago you couldn't get a car title loan because they said it was predatory lending and now somehow their operating again throughout the State of Florida and many other states. I tried to work a resolution to get my car back by offering to pay them half of what I owed and the other half of what I owed a month later and they refused so they can keep my car but I will sue them for my personal property
It took them 3 months to close my account when I refused the loan by not collecting the money and then sent me paperwork showing I paid the loan off
This is a horrible company for many reasons. First, they do not tell you upfront that you will pay a fee on your payment no matter what you do. The only way not to is use a money order which charges fees to get. We live in the information age and their is absolutely no reason to charge a huge fee to get a payment except to gain more profits. Second, the interest on a loan like this for me turned out to be about 52%. A rate this high is illegal, but somehow this company is getting away with it. You do not have a chance to think about what they are saying when you read that contract because you are just in a jam. These people prey on the misfortune of others. Third, the only way to talk to someone is by phone and they have horribly long phone wait periods. When you finally get someone on the phone, the customer service is absolutely horrible. I will agree, if you are thinking about a loan at Embassy, run as fast as can the other way.
Worst customer service ever... It is sad they just lost a repeat customer due to it. Loans rates are way too high as well. I do not want to even give them one star. 3 years ago this company was okay. I do not know what has happen over the years but they have no concerns for their customers... It was so bad i just sad cancel my loan completely.
Embassy is a SCAM!
Run away, run far far away. This was the worst mistake I have ever made and I wish I would have read some reviews on the company before I went through with it. They don't care about you, they don't care about helping you (or else they wouldn't make you pay 700 not to have insurance through them)
This company needs to be shut down. Horrible company. There are better options out there. I would not use them again if they were the last company on earth.
RUN
I was told that in 10 business days my title would be clean and itsit's not! I paid off my loan June 12th, 2015. I have been lied to by this company, do not try to get a loan from these people! They do not communicate with one another and will lie to you no matter what!
Hilarious. The last thing Embassy is is legitimate. Embassy is not legally licensed as a title loan lender under chapter 537 Florida statutes and violates numerous provisions of chapter 516 (the chapter of law they are licensed under). The fact is, Embassy is just one of several hundred title loan companies in this state doing business illegally. And that is because the OFR and DMV are allowing them to. In other words, the entire title loan industry in this state is a scam, a criminal fraud conspiracy and the OFR and DMV are directly involved. This is your state government knowingly and willfully committing fraud against Florida consumers. And as always, it all revolves around money.
Everybody who reads this comment and has obtained a title loan from ANY title loan company in this state (especially Embassy) please email me at bdexter01@gmail.com for all of the details. There is a possible class action lawsuit in the works over all of this. So please contact me. Together we may very well be able to finally put an end to this blatant fraud.
Unfortunately Karen because you did not actually obtain a loan from Embassy there is little you can do. One thing you CAN do though is report Embassy to your local state attorney's office for conducting business at a location that they are not licensed to conduct business at. Embassy is licensed under chapter 516 Florida statutes and as such they are required to have a seperate license for each and every location they conduct business out of. Currently Embassy only has ONE license and that is for their Cooper City location. They think they are slick and refer to all of thier other locations (usually insurance agencies) as "inspection stations". But the fact is all of the loan documents are signed at these locations and therefore these locations are not merely inspection stations. These locations are where the loans are actually consumated. As such Embassy is illegally operating out of each and every one of these locations without a license.
Of course Embassy is not properly (legally) licensed under chapter 537 of Florida statutes as a title loan lender.in the first place. And they violate numerous provisions of chapter 516 with each and every loan they make. Indeed, contrary to the assertion made by the Embassy employee, Embassy is everything BUT legitimate.
Having said all of that, the fact is, Embassy is just doing what the OFR and DMV are illegally allowing them to do. There is a massive fraud conspiracy in this state regarding title loans. And it all revolves around money (what's new). If you are reading this and have gotten a title loan from ANY title loan company in this state (especially Embassy) feel free to contact me at bdexter01@gmail.com for all of the details. Together we can put an end to this blatant fraud.
I work for Embassy Loans. We have not had a customer named Karen in recent days.
I can assure you we are a legitimate company that has been helping consumers with loans for the last eight years.
I've been a customer for a few years and I testified under oath this is a legitimate buisness and very courtesy, they work with you and don't harass you when your a little late late they get a 5 star from me
Technical problems, rude staff
I applied for the loan in Embassy Title Loans. They told me to provide three payments in amount of $500 each. I have no idea why, but all these payments weren’t provided to this company. Now they call me and tell to pay more, but I have no such amount of money. I wanted to refuse, but they started to threaten me. I wonder if there are other people, who had the same experience. Can you provide any good piece of advice?
The law firm of Shepherd, Finkelman, Miller, and Shah are currently conducting an investigation into Embassy Loans Inc. At present their investigation is focusing on only one legal issue that being that Embassy is illegally taking Powers of Attorney from borrowers in violation of Fla.Stat.516.16. This investigation was initiated by the firm based on information that I provided. However, although their investigation is, at present, limited only to the power of attorney issue, Embassy is in fact violating numerous state laws and is in fact engaged in serious consumer fraud. If you obtained a title loan from Embassy loan the I have two suggestions for you. First, contact th law firm referred to above If you received a car title loan from Embassy Loans then you probably signed a DMV non secure power of attorney form and pursuant to s.516.16 it was illegal for Embassy to require you to sign that form. So contact that law firm and let them know if you did in fact sign this document when you got your title loan from Embassy. Second, contact me directly. I will review your loan agreement and specific situation and let you know if Embassy violated other provisions of Florida law in connection with your loan and tell you what steps you should take. I do not charge one penny for this advise. My interest in this is to finally expose Embassy's fraudulent activities and put an end to them so that they can never again victimize another Florida consumer. Please email me at bdexter01@gmail.com
