Really have had the worst experience with this company in refinancing my vehicle
Really have had the worst experience with this company in refinancing my vehicle. At the beginning they were easy to reach, responsive, and quick offer better interest rates and lower payments. It wasn't until I handed over a check and my personal information that they suddenly were impossible to reach. The process took 3 months. In that time I made 3 car payments, and for the 3rd month ended up paying both the old loan and the new one. They asked for the first month's payment for the new loan, and that payment has yet to be found or reflected with my new loan. 2 months later. Had I not inquired about that check, they would have just kept it I presume. Communication was extremely poor once they got what they wanted. I'm still trying to get questions answered. Where is my money? Frustration is an understatement.

The advertisement I Responded to was prompted to me by Experian
The advertisement I Responded to was prompted to me by Experian. I was looking for a balance Transfer card when this hit me, Save Money on you vehicle note! The agent, *** was super to deal with. I was exact on the documents requested and he was awesome getting my interest cut in half. I know that not everyone will have the same results, but I did. I went from a 6.6% note for 96 months and remaining 80 months to my balance on a ***% loan and 63 months with the same payment. I wanted to save real money, not monthly money and I did. They knocked out 17 payments, all interest and pre-payoff my truck early. They made it easy and saved me a ton of money. It was a pure pleasure to deal with *** and I hope the other agents do the same for their customers too. Thank You Very Much for my note, Very Well Created! Amazing Job and I will be a return *** to go!
SCAM! Beware. A certain car sales company uses them as a third party, which is ridiculous. People are not as responsive. They also promised to give me a refund if I bought the car, which was my intention. However, due to this agent instructing me to mail out a $25,000 check to a dubious address, I decided to cancel this purchase and return the vehicle. I lost $300 and will be disputing these extra charges I received due to the negligence and lack of communication from the company. Had the sales representative communicated in time with this unreasonable request, I would have returned the vehicle sooner. No one in their right mind should use this company; they also take months for you to receive your title and documents. They make a lot of clerical errors and are just a shady company overall. No thanks. They should be shut down.
I found TRESL on Credit Karma to refinance my vehicle (800 credit). Based on my car, credit history, and other factors, the advertisement mentioned a rate of ***% APR. I spoke with the first loan officer, who said I would be able to get a loan for 4% or lower, based on the information I had submitted. I was then transferred to another specialist, who could only find a loan that was higher than what I'm already paying. Even worse, as they did a hard inquiry on my credit (which impacts my credit score). Please save your time and energy and avoid TRESL. Also disappointing in Credit Karma for promoting this company.
Great customer service! There were a few hiccups and whatnot but they were so patient and understanding. *** is absolutely amazing and Im so glad she was able to help me!
Was recommended tresl for refinancing my vehicle through credit karma and decided to give it ago. Was in need of lowering my car payment amount and that is exactly what this company was able to do! Though the APR is higher then I would like, my payments are ultimately going to be lower each month then they have been. Very happy with the customer service I have received from my advisor as well
This is either a bait-and-switch company, or just a money laundering scheme
This is either a bait-and-switch company, or just a money laundering scheme. And let me tell you why. I wasted my time applying to refinance my vehicle this morning. They told me to get a "co-borrower". It was at that exact minute that I laughed so hard I fell off the toilet. Me? A co-borrower? Comedy! Keep reading, it gets better! My credit score is 790 (seven hundred and ninety). I have a flawless, 100%, perfect on-time payment history for 19 years, for everything. Never ever been late for a single thing in nearly two decades, EVER. I am only using 14% of my revolving credit. And I make well over a quarter million dollars a year. And they told me to get a co-borrower? Hahahaha! if I can't successfully refinance my vehicle with my credentials, then don't waste your time because most likely you won't either. If you do, give it a month and see where your money goes when the Feds kick in their door.

a very easy organization to do business with in the buyback off of lease of my car. Tresl representative was efficient and knowledgeable and completed our transaction in a timely manner..highly recommended !
Terrible service, slow at everything, errors in paperwork sent to DMV which caused delays and they refused to provide a new temp tag, unprofessional and will NEVER work with them again!
Had an excellent experience with Finance Advisor *** for our lease-purchase. Communicated clearly, expectations were discussed at length, options were reviewed. Calls were timely, ability to text was convenient. Appreciate being able to do everything from home.
Excellent service and pleasant experience. Everything was explained clearly and the process was very fast. I saved a lot in fees that the dealership was trying to charge. Thanks
This company is disorganized and shady
This company is disorganized and shady. I submitted all of my documentation then didnt hear back from my financial advisor for days. I sent a follow-up email only to find my email bounce back to inform me that the advisors email was no longer valid. I reached out to customer service and eventually another financial advisor was assigned to me. I was sent inaccurate documents reflecting a large discrepancy from the loan amount to my actual pay off amount. I requested the documents be corrected prior to signing. The documents were corrected and I signed and submitted them on 8/29. I waited several weeks then reached out to my financial advisor via txt. He told me to continue to make my payments to my old lender but my payment from Tresl should post soon. I reached out to the financial advisor again on 9/25 only to find him allege that Tresl never received any documents. The company is disorganized at best and shady at worst.
Referred through Credit Karma. The conversation went ok, but then I was ignored. Applied on July 19th, uploaded all documents when I had initially submitted the application knowing what they may need ahead of time, additional documents uploaded by July 21st. Called Tresl directly as they direct you to do to expedite the process, reviewed the information with my advisor, who I guess is my unfortunate luck who picked up the phone. He said he would call within 2 days as of July 19th. Explained that my tags are due by the end of July and the advisor said NOT to pay them as new registration is all wrapped into the finance by the advisor. He mentioned he would call back as it looks like we have a good offer with a certain company, and said, 'I want to try one more though and see if we can get a lower payment.' No calls. I sent two emails to my advisor, with no response back during this time. Immediately let him know the rest of the documents were loaded and then sent a follow-up email expressing my willingness to proceed with the first offer. No response to any of my emails. Even reiterated the importance of my tags expiring in one of the emails.
Called Tresl on July 25th and calmly explained the situation to see if I may have another advisor assigned to my loan, I was sternly told no one else can help because then that takes away from other advisors' customers and it is too difficult for someone else to learn my loan. I was told I needed to leave a voicemail for my advisor. I was also informed that the person I spoke with would send an email to both the General Manager and advisor and that I would be called back the same day. That did not happen. Called again, spoke with a nicer person but received no information.
On July 28th, 2022, I was called by my advisor and told they do not know why I wasn't on their queue to call back (even though 2 emails were sent directly to them). I was told I was declined after 10 days. But 'he wanted to try one more thing.' I went to another Credit Union and the refinance was approved and being finalized within 24 hours of the application.
Was extremely happy working with my advisor ***. He was so kind in answering all my many (and there were many) questions and helped me with any issues that needed my attention immediately.
Bryant Smith at Tresyl was excellent! He was very knowledgeable, patient with my questions. He made the transfer very smooth and I would definitely use this company again!
Worst experience I have ever had. Very bad communication with customer.
Tresl- from paying tresl cash for the car on February 16 to receiving the plates on May 27, it took 3 months 11 days
Tresl- from paying tresl cash for the car on February 16 to receiving the plates on May 27, it took 3 months 11 days. Avis uses Tresl and Avis was good. I asked Tresl questions they never answered. Avis responded. I wanted to reuse my plate because it has a recreation passport on it. Tresl ignored that and ordered me a new plate. Tresl claims to save you the hassle of fighting with secretaries of state. I still get to work with my Secretary of State to correct the mistake Tresl made. I have never had the problems or delays at Michigan's secretary of state that I had with tresl. I did not insure the car until I had a bil of sale. I may have had a bill of sale, and the car, but I did not consider the transaction complete until I had the plate. The temporary plate expired april 30 and I received the real plate on May 27.Tresl is just inefficient, doesn't listen to customers and does in three months what most people do in a few days.
Terrible experience, from start to (hopefully almost) finish
Terrible experience, from start to (hopefully almost) finish. It has been almost 2 months that they have been giving me the run around, my first advisor *** straight up lied to me throughout our several phone calls, each of which took forever to even get into contact with her. Got handed off to the manager ***, who also lied to me our first phone call and made up things to explain different fees that were showing up. Every paperwork that was sent over was incorrect, or they just changed the titles of things to be able to better explain them off. After a little pushback I got handed off to another agent. Basically I got trapped in a scam, and I cant return the car at this point or else I would pay a ridiculously high rental fee. VERY unprofessional, would never work with anything or anyone that works with tresl ever again. And I have not even made it to the titles part of the transaction, which Im reading people also had lots of problems with.
I went through Credit Karma for options to refinance my car and Tresl has the best rates
I went through Credit Karma for options to refinance my car and Tresl has the best rates. I did my application on September 22th, and have been working with *** since September 27th. He was really great, but after I sent a duplicate of my title and sent paperwork to them through FedEx(October 9th) the communication went cold and I cant even get a hold of someone. I called numerous times and sent emails, now calling my advisor it goes straight to voicemail. Now today October 19th no updates, the customer portal is not working, and I cant check the status of my application as it appears the website is down or I cannot connect to the server. For some reason using my information when checking status or signing into my account, I get that message or that 404 service unavailable message when trying to launch the customer portal. Its really worrisome when you sent your title and car documents to someone else just to suddenly lose access to your account or even the website. I dont know what to do know besides stick with my current car loan and watch my credit score, I would not recommend using Tresl.
I received outstanding assistance from *** at Tresl
I received outstanding assistance from *** at Tresl. She is a finance advisor. I had paid off my lease for my *** Elantra and the dealership in the *** insisted I did not. It was horrific for me with myriads of calls. Then thank goodness I was turned over to *** by a *** Representative. I then went through a process and received my packet to purchase the car in cash. I followed all instructions assisted by *** and finally, the Fed X packet she sent me was returned to the person she told me to send it to with the Cahiers Check for the car. I am waiting to hear from her again that *** is finally out of my life. The next step is getting the title and the *** taxes paid. *** will assist me with that as well. If there is another person involved *** will let me know who that is. It is not over yet but very close to the end of this horror. I wanted to write to the *** of Tresl *** but could not get an email. If anyone knows her tell her she has a STAR at Tresl! *** is kind, and caring has excellent business skills, and has tremendous follow-through.
I purchased a car o/a 17 Nov 2020 and was waiting for information concerning the title being sent to the Arizona MVD for processing
I purchased a car o/a 17 Nov 2020 and was waiting for information concerning the title being sent to the Arizona MVD for processing. About 1 month after I purchased the car, I contacted - with great difficulty - the titling folks in Texas and was informed that they had not received the title from Avis Car Sales; however, they were having a meeting with them and would get back to me in a couple of days. Unfortunately, another 2 weeks passed without any contact. I finally had to call through their corporate offices to reach a specialist who was finally able update me on the title. Basically, the specialist had the title and was preparing to overnight it to the main DMV offices in Phoenix. After a brief discussion, she implemented a conference call with the AZ MVD main office who informed her she could send the paperwork to the local office in Sierra Vista where I would be able to, after they contacted me, complete the title work and get my registration and license plate. The ladies I spoke to today (07 Jan 21) (Kimberly and Loretta) were extremely helpful; however, it took me over a month to get to people that COULD help me and my messages to the Tresl personnel I had been speaking with went unreturned. I am sorry but I cannot recommend using Tresl to other car buyers. Prior to my retirement, I was a senior level executive managing multi-million dollar contracts and went through 3 periods of serious illness throughout the U.S. and, despite the issues, we were able to maintain our services at or near normal levels. It just took a concerted effort on the staff's part and they put in the extra time willingly.

In the midst of the pandemic, having just lost my job from a permanent spinal injury; our previous vehicle was totaled by a deer to top things
In the midst of the pandemic, having just lost my job from a permanent spinal injury; our previous vehicle was totaled by a deer to top things off. So we had to take out our meager savings, and started looking for a new used vehicle through AVIS and sold / financed by TRESL. The only damage listed, prior to the vehicles purchase were scrapes on the paint or 1 or 2 small dents, cosmetic stuff. I asked for service records and only received the last (most recent) one. They (TRESL) won't give you the complete service history for some reason. So we pay to test drive the vehicle for 3 days checking EVERYTHING out, safety, door locks, a/c, hows it handle, etc. Thats $150 out the door you aren't getting back to rent the vehicle - unless you purchase the vehicle. We take the car to our mechanic who notices the rear passenger side window doesn't work. He quotes installation and a new window motor at $650. We were baited & switched. Plain and simple. We asked the TRESL associate(s) handling our purchase to either be reimbursed the $650 and have it taken off the listing price since there was no mention of its defection on the website, by AVIS or by TRESL, or to allow us to have it repaired at TRESL's expense since they were taking responsibility of selling us the vehicle. NOPE. They weren't going to do a thing to work with us. Now the vehicle, WITH NO PROBLEMS LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE PAGE (we have screenshots too with the VIN and no problems listed) other than some paint scratches - suddenly has a $650 problem no one at AVIS and no one at TRESL has a service history of. And if they do, they won't tell you anything past the vehicles last oil change anyways, because lack of transparency equals good customer service in their minds? At this point after the inspection, gas, and 3-day rental fees we're nearly $400 into this vehicle at loss to us if we don't purchase it. $850 loss (gas, vehicle inspection, rear window repair) if we take the damaged car as is, and eat the repairs while getting reimbursed the $150 rental fee. To go through the time and expenses and potential future bait & switch fraud occurring through TRESL, we would be out $800 with nothing to show for our efforts if this happened to us twice. So we HAD to settle for accepting the damage. I will be filing a complaint to Josh S, our North Carolina Attorney General in hopes that others aren't baited & switched and forced or pressured to make a decision like this. I think an investigation should be done so that others aren't being baited and switched without vehicle issues being listed on their website prior to your test driving the vehicle. You should be able to know what is wrong so you can decide if you even want to test drive the damaged or defective vehicle.
This was arguably one of the worst experiences I have ever had
This was arguably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. If timing wasn't an issue I would have pulled this loan from you guys and went with literally anyone else. I would have even considered just pulling the money for the car out of my savings and paying it off in full at one shot. I was assigned a rep that works west coast hours and has Wednesdays off when I live in New Jersey and am most available from 8 to 5 EST. This meant that for the first 4 to 5 hours of my day I could not communicate with anyone at Tresl. Secondly, the representative got none of my work done in time and I have been dealing with constant calls with Hyundai to stave them off from repossessing the car and sending my account to collections due to not returning the car. Thirdly, there was a completely separate insurance included in my original loan price that I never requested to be added. It was not explained to me until I was told I was approved for the loan and was lead to believe that it was just part of the process. It was not until I specifically asked who was providing the insurance and if it was optional that I was told it was in fact optional but highly recommended. It was only when I denied this additional coverage that I received a call from my rep's manager for the SOLE purpose of trying to persuade me to include this insurance. Every time I asked this manager about the status of the loan he would tell me he sees its going through and that I shouldn't worry b/c they will get it in in time and that Hyundai doesn't come right away. So just don't worry, you'll be fine. That was the advice. All he really wanted to do was sell me on this insurance. I was told I needed to sign two documents and we'd be all set. The following day I received a 36 page packet to fill out in 2 days and send back. Instructions said to sign where it was marked however there were several other pages that looked to need more information to be filled out so I had to get on yet another phone call to go over these documents to make sure that all I actually needed to do was sign the spots it said to sign. Here we are today, June 2nd, a full month and 2 days past the due date of the lease expiring. While the reps were very polite throughout the process, they seemed entirely too cavalier about the severity of the situation that I was going through and this took entirely too long to accomplish. I'm in the middle of trying to get a mortgage and greatly concerned with anything affecting my credit at this time. The advice from Tresl was just not to worry and was essentially told that I didn't fully understand how mortgages work and that I had nothing to worry about. There's more to this but I'm honestly sick of working with you guys so I'll leave this year. This is the same review I left on Trust Pilot, minus this section right here. They replied to my Trust Pilot review stating they didn't make first contact with me until 5/19. This is another false statement from them. I first contacted them the last week of April, when the lease was up. 5/19 is the date wherein I reached out for an update b/c I had not heard back from them and was told "we are waiting for you to send us your driver info and documents". The documents were in fact sent to them also, in the last week of April... DO NOT use Tresl for your car loan or anything else. I'm warning you, shop around and use just about anybody else.

Tresl car sales agents
I purchased my car in mid October it is now January 29th, I was told my vehicle would be registered and titled for me as part of the service that I paid for. Months and months have passed, and I have acquired multiple temporary plates. I have used my allowed number of temp plates and now my car registration is expired leaving me without transportation and...
Read full review of TreslNot receiving car title
I purchased a vehicle from Tresl on February 27th, 2023 and still have not received my title. I need the title to get my plates, which expire on May 2nd. I was told on March 11th that my title was being processed for Maryland, I state which I do not live in. The agent that told me this told me to call them or email them if I have any questions. I have called them, left messages, and emailed them multiple times and have not heard back from them a single time.
I heard nothing from Tresl until April 10th, on which I received a robot email saying my title was being processed by the DMV. The email provided me with no further instructions, reading: "At this particular stage in the process, nothing is required from you".
I have responded to the email, called Tresl, and left voicemails inquiring how I can get my title and have heard nothing in return. I need my license plates to drive to work and if I get pulled over with expired plates my car is going to be impounded and I will have to pay the bill, not Tresl. It is unbelievable that I had to pay extra fees to this company to buy a vehicle and they are making it possible that I won't even be able to buy the car that I paid for. Give me my title and plates.
Desired outcome: Give me my title so I can get my license plates

I purchased a car from them, was told there is a second key for the vehicle, I have emailed and asked for them to send to me and have gotten the run around since Feb 4. Almost, two months. Below is an example word for word from Jeff D my financial advisor who I who I worked with in the transaction via email since they are in Texas. As far as the second key.. I have confirmed it is still coming to you. I guess they are backed up and we are now telling customers it takes 6-7 weeks. I apologize but I confirmed you will still get it. Thank you for the patience and as always let me know if you need anything. I was told they would send the key, then I have emails saying they lost it. More emails came asking for a quote from a Ford dealership for the price of the remote and key fob which I provided, so they could send a check. Now they are saying no, you need to purchase and we will reimburse you. Well, at this point I have lost all trust. I do not feel they will pay me back.

My experience with Tresl has been TERRIBLE! My advisor was ***. He seemed To be a nice person in the beginning dispute me having to constantly email him because he wouldnt get back to me until the next week. After we were able to refinance my car with another institution, he completely avoided me. I am yet to receive my car title back from the company he instructed me to mail it to. Also, he told me that I will indeed be receiving reimbursement for payments I made to my other auto finance company while my refinance process was being complete. He of course lied to me about that too for absolutely no reason. He never answers my calls. This man is a CON. I just want my reimbursement he told I was going to get and my car title back! Please please help me.

I purchased a 2020 Chevy Tahoe from Avis via Innovative Funding Services DBA Tresl
I purchased a 2020 Chevy Tahoe from Avis via Innovative Funding Services DBA Tresl. As you can see in the attached screen shot I wired them $30,000 on 12/7 then the remaining loan was funded on 12/14 (attached screenshot). They sent me temporary license plates that expired on 2/12. I contacted them multiple times in the weeks prior asking when I'd receive my permanent license plates and title. Today is 2/15 and I still have no plates. I was informed in an email last week by a Tresl rep that they "thought" my plates had been sent but they weren't (attached screenshot), however they were set to be sent overnight to me for delivery on 2/12. I'm now 3 days into not being able to drive my car because it has expired plates. I've emailed EVERY rep I worked with at Tresl asking for a tracking number for the new plates or to email me another set of temp plates so I can drive my vehicle which I payed roughly $45,000 to purchase. I'm being disregarded by them entirely now.

I purchased a vehicle from *** through Tresl. The whole experience has been horrible. No one knew what was happening through the 2 months it took to finalize. I have still not received my title, 4 months later. I also received a letter from the state asking me to pay the taxes that I already paid to Tresl. They obviously didnt pay the state taxes like they are required to do. I am beyond upset about the entire experience and will more than likely have to file a claim against them.
This process has been awful. I sent in all the required documents and now when I try to contact ***, it says delivery notice failure. The last email I had was from March 12, 2022. I tried to call corporate and was on hold for over 20 min with no one answering the phone. I logged into my account and it just says the account is closed. I had emailed all the required documents. This company was recommend through credit karma. I hope this does not impact my credit report.
I applied to refinance my vehicle
I applied to refinance my vehicle. They gave me the price it would cost and had me sign documents. Afterwards there was no further contact with me. I left several voicemails and the lady called I happen to miss the phone call and they didn't bother to leave a voicemail or send me an emails. I finally was able to log into my online portal to figure out how to go about completing or starting my first payment to them for the car and there was no information on the portal either. I tried to call again still nothing can't reach a single person in the whole business no matter which one of the phone tree buttons I use. then I log into my portal week later and see if there's maybe updated information and it says that my application has been closed and there may be adverse effects due to that. Then it proceeds to tell me if I have any questions that I need to call the phone number. I called the number and still no matter what button I pressed could not reach a single person with this company.

I applied to refinance my truck with Tresl and got approved. I was requested to send in many different documents and did that as well as made the down payment of $5000. This has been going on for over a month and I waited 2 weeks for my primary loan to be paid and it never did get paid. I had to make another payment of $1049 to my primary lien holder. I called my case worker for two days and finally got ahold of him and now they need another copy of my paystub and proof that my truck payment is current. I get text msgs but never a reply to mine. I cant get any straight answers and its just costing me more money than I really have. This has cost me more money than I had and still no movement on my new loan. This has been an absolute nightmare on top of hitting my credit twice for the same thing. I want my money back and will highly not recommend anyone use this company
Earlier this year I purchased a car from **** which was handled by Tresl
Earlier this year I purchased a car from *** which was handled by Tresl. The sales process was smooth and credit is due to the sales rep handling my case (***).However, it has now been two months since the titling paperwork was filed. The temporary tags are due to expire September 24th. Since I have not received any update on the status of the new title, I followed up today (September 17th) to request an update. In response, I received a completely incoherent email advising that second temporary tags can no longer be issued and telling me to try and go to the *** DVM to see if I can get another temporary tag - at least, this is what I'm guessing it said since the email was so jumbled, I couldn't understand. In any case, this is a completely unacceptable position, especially since the vehicle will be undrivable once the temporary tags expire. This is made worse by the fact that I haven't been contacted by an representative; what if I had not followed up?

This company completely ripped me off. They promised an un beatable interest rate. Convinced me to sign paper work then completely dropped off of the radar. I have my own personal agent who is no longer responding to emails or phone calls. When I call customer service I get forwarded to that specific agent. This company is for sure a scam

I filed for auto refinancing with Tresl and was approved same day (11/2). I signed the paperwork and changed my insurance over the same day, as well. *** was the agent helping me through the process. Everything seemed to run smooth. He was helpful and in contact with me for the next few weeks. He sent me my final documents to be signed on 11/18 and said to wait to ask for my GAP refund from my dealership until there was notice of payoff (30 days from the original date of filing). He also said I would be reimbursed for over-payments of my current car note once the loan was sent to my new loan provider. It has been 36 days without notice of loan payoff. I can no longer get a response from him (3 attempts to contact him directly in the past 5 days). 2 emails to Tresls customer service department have gone unanswered also. I have no update on anything happening with my loan. This was a 5/5 experience and I even recommended them to a friend. It has quickly changed to a 1/5 experience. *** is unreachable.

In March, I engaged IFS (DBA as Tresl) to broker my lease buyout by connecting me with lenders and facilitating the paperwork between the leasing company (Lexus Finacial) and my new lender *** Everything was going smoothly until late March. My financial advisor at Tresl (***) made some mistakes on my account and later departed the company (I was not notified by anyone at Tresl). I became aware of these mistakes mid-April when Lexus sent me urgent notices about missing paperwork and a missing check. After a week of hounding them, Tresl attempted to fix the mistakes, but made other mistakes in the process too. Due to these mistakes, Lexus has been penalizing me with fees. And, I just received a letter from *** that they are going to raise my rates because they have not secured the title from *** Lexus is holding onto the title because Tresl has not complied with their process. When I reach out to Tresl, I hear back several days later saying they are working on it. When I follow up with Lexus, they say no progress has been made.I am at my wit's end.

Tresl business page was on my credit Karma app who also apparently have access to general info about my auto loan, Based on my loan amount they presented me (in the same app on their page)with a better interest rate and lower payment if i choose to refinance with them, Numbers were specific in terms of term, APR and monthly payment.I liked the numbers since its better than my current auto loan terms so I submitted an application to proceed with the refinancing based on numbers provided, It turns out that these numbers are not true and they dont know what my numbers will be till they reach out to several banks in order to present me with some options! (they still need to shop around) And then i get a notification in my credit karma app that they ran my credit 3 times without telling me and when I confronted the agent he stopped responding to me, Also I tried to reach out to a Manager several times with no luck, they are always busy and not available. To summarize: they lied about pretty much everything to make me submit the application then they ran my credit 3 times, I couldnt refinance my auto loan and i have 3 new inquiries on my credit report for no reason.

I began the process of refinancing my vehicle with Tresl back in September
I began the process of refinancing my vehicle with Tresl back in September. After speaking with *** and getting his instructions on what documents to send, my fiance and I promptly sent them over. We were told we'd hear back from them, but we did not. A couple weeks later, I had to call them to be told that we needed to now sign some documents with a notary. So, we promptly took care of that. Then, no word from Tresl again. Weeks go by with them not answering emails, texts, or phone calls. Finally, they pick up the phone and tell me that we have to send updated paystubs and proof of address because it has now been over a month since the last ones were received. So, we sent in updates documents. Again, weeks go by with no word and no response to my calls. Finally, *** returns my call with a slew of apologies and excuses and says that new paystubs and proof of address are needed yet again because the previous ones are expired. I was irate, but sent what was needed on the promise from him that it was the last time. Now it has been almost 2 weeks since I sent the updated documents and they are once again not responding to calls, texts, or emails.

I used Tresl to refinance my car in June
I used Tresl to refinance my car in June. After receiving multiple phone calls from *** capital saying the previous account was not paid off, I contacted Tresl. The payoff for the auto loan was sent to the wrong company on July 1st. Tresl sent it to *** instead of *** Capital. Fast forward to today 7/20/2022, the payoff still has not been sent to *** Capital. Now I have two loans opened and the *** Capital payment is going to be 30 days late tomorrow, 7/21. On top of that there is now a late fee added to that payment. After multiple attempts to reach a supervisor at Tresl over the last 8 days, no one called me back until today. They told me they still havent received the check back from *** and cant send the actual payoff to the correct company (*** Capital) until they receive it. I was told my FA *** that the corrected check would be sent to *** Capital by 7/21, which is not the case. Tresls only solution was for me to pay the payment to both *** Capital and Consumers. They said that they would reimburse me once the deal is completed but this is not acceptable. I need this to be resolved and this is due to Tresls negligence, not mine.

After applying to refinance my car loan with Tresl, a representative contacted me for details.
On 10/15, I applied for a Tresl application to refinance my car loan. A representative called me after a few days requesting my car information and driver's license, confirming I was approved for refinance. They had me sign a DocuSign agreement for a lower rate and additional coverage. Later, I found my account closed and after no communication for over a month, I reached out but got no response. Eventually, the representative cited credit issues for non-approval. I was uninformed for two months, leading me to believe Tresl is fraudulent. They should face legal consequences for their actions.

I was fully approved for a lease buyout, provided all required documents, but the deal fell through.
I was told that I was fully approved for a lease buyout. After providing my driver's license, proof of income, and other personal documentation, I was also required to pay for the renewal of the registration and insurance immediately. However, I was later informed that the transaction could not be completed because the dealership would not allow a payoff. Upon contacting the dealership, I learned that the company in question never submitted any paperwork to them and had only used their name, acting as a dealership on my behalf, and that they do not finance lease buyouts at all. Not only did they mislead me about their approval, but they also tried to add unnecessary warranties to the deal, incurring extra costs. Their dishonest practices led to additional credit inquiries and wasted my time. Had I been aware of their process, I would not have applied through them, as I already knew the dealership would not allow a third party to buy out the lease. I had already received the same approval from an auto navigator on my own, but could not use it due to their policy on lease buyouts. This situation has negatively impacted my credit score due to their futile attempts to secure approval. They never presented themselves as a dealership and only disclosed this after failing to secure the payoff. I could have visited any car lot and achieved the same result—nothing—without the unnecessary credit inquiries. I am concerned that this may have been a case of fraudulent business practices.

I had recently decided to refinance my car and Nerd Wallet recommended Tresl
I had recently decided to refinance my car and Nerd Wallet recommended Tresl. I figured they would be legitimate enough for me to refinance with them. However, I should have followed through and cancelled when I attempted to the first time. I have signed everything possible and the process is still not done after about two months of dealing with it. My father and I have been told to sign the same set of documents after the first ones were sent back for reasons that I am still unsure of. My loan has not been paid off with my current loan provider and my current loan provider notified me that they didn't even request a payoff. On top of that, they already have a payment date set up when everything is not even complete yet. Now, I am going to have to pay the upcoming payment on the 8thto Tresl, along with my current actual loan on the 20th. I think it's a scam and I should not be given a payment date or set up for payment until this process is complete. I have attempted to finish the process, however, I have not received a call back within a week and when I attempt to speak with someone from their customer service line, I can only leave a message. I have also attempted to login to mytresl.com to view the status of my application. However, when clicking the link, it only says, "not found". I am becoming quite impatient and stressed out over this ordeal and all I want to do now is cancel it and just stick with my current loan without refinancing. However, they make it seem impossible to do so since I cannot get in touch with anyone.

I began researching auto refinances in order to lower my monthly rate
I began researching auto refinances in order to lower my monthly rate. Tresl came up, and I completed some inquiries with them. I also completed inquiries with several other companies. Tresl had the best options, so I went ahead and signed with them in November . It took a while for the paperwork to go through, come *** I began payments on the refinance. Then, I began getting notices from *** Auto finance saying they refinanced my loan. So I contacted the original bank and they said that they cashed the *** payoff and returned the Tresl payoff back in November. I was not happy. So I contacted the company )PenFed) that I was making my Tresl payment through and they said I had to deal with Tresl directly. I have called and spoke to someone many times about this and there has been no resolution. On March 1st, I spoke to someone who said they would have a manager call me back asap. I have never gotten that call back. I called again on March 15th and spoke to a manager. He said he was going to work on getting it resolved as they did get the check back. He said he'd call me back. I still have not heard from him.I have called again on April 15th, and April 18th and left messages every time. I have two different companies demanding payment for the same vehicle. PenFed has the title under their name, and my insurance has them as the leinholder. Yet, Tresl has NOT paid for my loan! My credit score is being destroyed, and I am financially suffering for this. (I am also filing a Complaintsboard.com complaint against *** Auto Finance for the same issue).

I was consistently receiving marketing emails for refinancing my auto loan and discovered Tresl
I was consistently receiving marketing emails for refinancing my auto loan and discovered Tresl. I filled out the online application on Friday 1/21/22 and spoke to a representative over the phone that assured me I would be contacted later in the day. I received a call while I was working and listened to the voicemail instructing me to call the representative back. I called them back within an hour of their call, got their voicemail, left my number and asked that they call me back. I received no contact over the weekend or Monday, so I called towards the end of the day, spoke to a rep that said I'd need to speak with my account owner who said they were unavailable because they were having "computer issues." They assured me I would receive a call from them the next day. I did not receive a call, email or any contact so I called multiple times and cannot reach a person as my call goes directly to the voicemail of the same rep who will not call me back. I have sent emails to three separate contacts for the company and have gotten no response. I called today 1/26/22 and again heard the same unique musical ring tone for the same rep's direct line. This time the call was picked up and hung up immediately with no words. A few minutes later I received a call from an ***, *** area code (nowhere near my state of residence) that I had never seen before, answered, said hello multiple times and heard only silence. I can only assume this call has some association to this shady organization's employees. When attempting to find my account online I receive an error message each time.I am concerned that I received a hard credit pull and provided sensitive information to this company because I believe them to be a scam, dishonest and untrustworthy.I do not want to have any account or association with this company and requesting assurance that I do not have an open account and they are not misusing my information.

Please listen to all phone recordings from them
Please listen to all phone recordings from them. my first advisor *** gave me wrong info and sent incorrect paperwork several times (no name, wrong address, wrong labels, random fees). When asked why a 399 fee was on there she said it was because I was going with their financing; I told her nevermind I will go with my own and after that it was impossible to get into contact with her. Asked for updated paperworkand found two additional fees were added on, I asked what the 399 fee was for again and she told me something different. I asked to speak with a manager because at this point *** was telling me completely different things every time we spoke. First convo with manager ***, she said they were having glitches and that 399 fee should not be on there and would get it fixed. Weeks later, I get the official paperwork, which had several errors along with that 399 fee still there. When asked about it again, *** said there must have been some miscommunication and that fee should be on there. there was no miscommunication, I was lied to several times. I asked for corrections to be made and sent back, and the only changes that were made were the labels being renamed. At this point it has been several months of ignored calls and voicemails, and when I finally spoke to *** about what they could do for me since I was lied to and basically trapped, she said that I can either return the car and pay an astronomical amount of rental fees (Ive had the car for several months) or sign the paperwork as is. Also let her know I wouldnt have gone through had I been given all the correct info from the start. Bit the bullet and signed, and now its been several more months since Ive heard anything about the title work. Called today and got that straightened out, but also found out none of my advisors OR *** worked there anymore. The bank said they were going to pull my loan and raise my interest if I didnt get the title work over to them. My extension is almost over.

Quick and easy refinancing my loan thanks to my incredible agent ***! I was kept up to date and informed during the whole process. All my questions and worries were answered promptly. I was worried about it being a drawn out long lengthy process but I was completely wrong. It took little to no time on my end once the needed papers were turned in. 10/10 would highly recommend. Thank you so much for all the help and assistance!
Incredible service and incredible interest rates. Highly recommend! ***, the financial adviser was really professional and steadfast with his approach and was clear about all the processes.
was really helpful throughout the whole refinance process! Couldn't be happier to get out of my old lien holder and put into a new one.
Great customer service, they looked for different alternatives, they took care of all the paperwork and made things very easy. Highly recommend!
