Loan agreement
My name es Maxime Mabizela. Today l received a call from this no. [protected] and the person wanted to offer me a loan and l asked abiut my outstanding amount and months that l am left to pay off. I was surprised when l heard about the year 2025 July and my agrrement weth you last year was that my last payment is in October. I asked her to check my contract but she dropped my call and never came back to me. Please respond to my request/complain.

Unable to get statements and excess payments
I took at two personal loans from Direct Axis in 2019. I have called Direct Axis many times since 2019 to get my loan statements and supplied them with my updated email address. I can see my outstanding amounts via my FNB al, but as off 21 July 2023, I have not received any statements. I have yelled, pleased and cursed but it’s as good as speaking to a wall when you call their call centre.
During the last call, I again asked for statements, again supplied my email address, and mentioned that I will be paying in additional amounts every month so that I can pay the loan off faster.
On 5 June, the FNB app indicated that I owed R2381 on the smalles loan. I paid that on the same day. Long story short, when I checked the app again on the 9th or June, it stated that I now owed R4762, which I paid. After my debit order, more payments, interest etc I now owe R14303! How is that even possible?
I dread calling their call center as - to date, they have not managed to correct my email address or send me a statement - how the [protected]@k will they even be able to understand this problem?
Maybe I should go directly to a lawyer.

I am sending a reminder that I will take legal action against DirectAxis for SMS spamming, for SMS harassments, for violation of my privacy rights, for SMS spamming policy violation, for reckless trading.
I have tried numerous times to opt out and I keep receiving spam from DirectAxis unwarranted loans and money lending.
I do not hold an account with your bank.
Therefore, I want you to remove my phone number ([protected]) from your system, otherwise I will contact my lawyer.
The spamming is causing me financial, emotional and distress and panic attacks.

Unfair treatment
I applied for a loan with Wesbank three weeks ago which is administered by DirectAxis. I had to go through a whole lot of steps for the loan to be approved and everything checked out fine and yesterday I was called and asked to send a selfie which I did.
Today I got a message from them saying that my loan has been approved and I should follow the link in order to sign a contract, but when I followed the link there was no contract but a application form wich left me puzzled.
While still trying to figure out what was going on I got a call from DirectAxis which rang once as soon as I answered the person hugh up, I then returned the call but their lines are so bad it's either the person on the other end is mute or we can't hear each other properly but I kept trying.
I finally got through to someone I could actually hear and he te tells me that my loan was declined, I asked him why he said because of my credit record, so I told him that it doesn't make sense because I was cleared three weeks ago and all my documents were cleared as well then he changed and said no my application was cancelled, I asked on which bases and he said when they can't get a hold of you they cancel.
I then ask him "but you guys called me and hung up and I then called you back and your lines are so bad but I kept calling I bought air time three times trying to get through"I then asked him to speak to the supervisor he told the supervisorwas not available I then asked him the turn aroundtime for them to revert backvto me he said he did nit know, I receivedno help or answers from him until we git disconnected. I then called back and was assisted by a lady who told me that she will ask the supervisort to call me shortly but up till today I have heard nothing from them.. I did not receive any resolution from this institution at all.
Desired outcome: I would like them to reinstate my application and send me the contract I was supposed to sign to finalize my application.
Refund to be paid on my paid up loan account
My account was paid up on the 04 April 2023, I have paid more than the required amount and it is reflecting as such on my FNB account.
I need my account to be reconciled and the excess to be refunded to me as soon as possible.
I have been on endless calls you your contact center and have sent through all documents that was requested including or proof of payment. Most of the time the agent just cuts the call while I am speaking.
I find it extremely frustrating to have to have this back and forth for money that is owed to me.
My original loan amount was for R 6736.80 and was commenced on the 29 November 2022. The amount that was paid on the 04 April 2023 was R 11 710.00
Desired outcome: My account to be consolidated and my refund to be paid to me immediately
My account must be closed and settled on the 1st of December 2022.
Paid my loan off in full on 1 December 2022, I called the call centre to advise them and the line just rings or you get cut off. Eventually I spoke to someone and they advised me the payment was not reflecting yet but all the details I used were correct and to call back a few days later. Still not able to get hold of them. They then handed me over to attorneys despite being told it had been settled in full. Advised the attorneys I paid in full and they are still harrassing me for payment. I have emailed the proof of payment to Direct Axis as well as the attorney and no response from either of them.
Personal loans
I had two loans with Direct Axis that were paid up and are trying to get confirmation settlement letters.
I am trying to talk to someone in Direct Axis now for two days, with no success.
I was lucky to get a line answered and talk to a lady that was clearly not prepared to do something extra to help me.
She put me through to an other department and I was cut off again!
Direct Axis staff are running around like headless chickens and will pass the bucket before they think of a solution.

Long term loan
Good Day.
I am really disappointed and annoyed with Direct Axis consultants. I have been trying to get my settlement letter for my loan for sometime without any assistance. I was put on hold by 2 different consultants today 06 September and the 3rd one told me that it does not show on their system that I have a loan with Direct Axis. This really raises concerns and it is frustrating as I do not understand what is happening with your processes.

Received a statement and balance was R61000. Paid R60 000 and asked for final settlement (5 emails to their different email addresses with no response). Phoned several times and was put on hold (1 call was 30 mins, I have proof).
On 25 June received an email confirming account is settled and that account is logged for closure.
End of June no debit order goes off (stopped by DirectAxis).
When I ask for the confirmation of account closed I am given a NEW settlement amount (more than R3000) and told that the mail confirming settlement was an error from their side.
All the extra costs were added from the 26th onwards. I have complained, spoken to a consultant twice and are told it will be escalated. No feedback as yet.
Desired outcome: I want a settlement as at 20 June when requested several times
Call center and assistance to settle
Trying to get ahold of someone in the call cenre is almost impossible. you hold on for long periods, when you speak to someone they very unwilling to help and just end up dropping the call on you or transfer you back into the loop - ive never experienced such discussing service form a financial institution. i work cor a financial service provider and im shocked at the level of service ive been handed since monday. these advisors dont want to speak to client!? are they working from home, if so why have you as a company allowed this if your complains are so high? who is measuring the productivity and talk time with clients?
your voice prompt man giving banking details is not clear - we cant tell if the account number starts with 622 or 623? Just to find out from the call centre that this is the complete wrong account and that the settlement banking details are different?
the advisors are rude and when you speak to them they become extremely rude.
please sort your call center out! this is pathetic business service delivery! i will never recommend using Direct axis.

They will not close a settled loan account and issue me with a paid up account letter.
I paid up my loan from Direct Axis 21 September 2021. I sold my house to settle this loan with the profit. It's been about months now since they promised to send a cancellation letter and their debit order is still going through. Whenever I phone there they always promise to get back to me but never do. I wrote hundreds of emails without replying.
I even went to their head office and demand speaking to someone senior. The team leader promised me to get back to me but never do. They also do not take my name off ITC!
I want to buy a house but this is negatively shown on my record.

Failure to clear my personal loan
I have asked for setlement offer on my personal loan, but due to the incompetence of direct axis,she refused to email me the reference number,resulting in me missing the first alfabet,ie Bax instead of DAX,I called them several times after one of the consultants highlighted the matter,I was informed that the matter will be escalated and resolved within 48 hours but invain, some consultants have the decency to drop your call, others would send you from pillar to post until you run of airtime.
Still debiting my account even after claiming for retrenchment benefit
After receiving a retrenchment notice from work I send an email to Direct Axis letting them know and that how I started the process in Nov 2021. Dec 2021 that's when the claim went through and the insurance let me know that it will pay for my loan for the next 6 months. Month end Direct Axis debited my account and they didn't find money but I was left with a 25.00 fee of unpaid debit. I called them that they fix it. January 2022 the sake thing happens send an email and it was never answered February still experiencing the same problem and each month I am liable for an unpaid fee, after doing calculations it means after 6 months I would have paid 150.00 of this charges.
Desired outcome: I would like this matter to be solved. It is causing me unnecessary stress. I thought having a protection plan would give me comfort. I want them to pay for my bank charges
Consultants more than incompetent
For the last week I have been attempting to have money paid into my personal loan account refunded.
proof of payment was submitted and last Friday I was advised that I would take 5 working days to get MY money back.
Today I was advised it would take 5-10 working days!
When you phone in, you get put on hold, if you were lucky enough for someone taking the call

Refund due
I paid an amount of R19931 on 5th November 2021 a day later they sent me a settlement letter after requesting it for 2 days of which they advised the amount wa 19453.10
Since the 5 of November I have been requesting for a refund and now they have come back to me and advised interest was charged... How on a up account

Settlement of personal loan
I have made a payment to my personal loan (full amount, not the settlement amount to avoid further interest). The DirectAxis escalation team contacted me wrt my refund due, after proof of payment that it was in fact I settled my loan account, no one is coming back to me. I've even addressed the matter (copying the CEO) and complaints department at NCR, but no response.
Phoning them just ends in one of the consultants disconnecting the phone; they continue to debit my account AFTER THEY confirmed that the account has been settled and just shared another email informing me that I need to note they will be deducting the December debit order earlier.
What is going on with this company?

I have settled my loan on the 18th October 2021, and I have notice that Direct axis debited my account on the 30th, well i have tried to make calls but never get a clear solution when I asked the consultant about it she said she will find out from the manager if Im gonna get the refund again I asked for Ref number for my call then she hang up this happened yesterday twice with two consultant ...
I really feel robed and regret for doing business with Direct axis...
I dont think it was fair to debit my account and still send and sms yesterday to tell me for december they going to make debit order on the 15th.

Incompetence
Directaxis handed me over, said I defaulted on payments. I sent prove of all payments done. I hired an attorney to help me, battle this. I also sent my complaint to the NCR. I struggled months on my own, with no success. They couldn't take legal action as I never defaulted on a payment. This is the worst creditor I have ever worked with. They added interest and Legal fees, making the loan account basically double. And no one knows who needs to fix it. And the keep on redirecting my attorney to a new department. No one is willing to sit and go through the account to see the mistakes.
Desired outcome: I want to settle my account with the correct amount, write of legal fees and interest as its not my fault.
They will not close a settled loan account.
I had a loan from Direct Axis. I sold my house to settle this loan with the profit. It's been about 2 months now since they promised to send a cancellation letter and their debit order is still going through. Their customer center told me that they will reverse the debit order or I should go to my bank and do it, but they have used a Debicheck that banks cannot reverse. The account now has a balance because they did not close it when I gave them the instruction to do so. The customer center is so rude, that they even cut calls after I had to wait in line to get through to an agent. This company is quick to give loans but has trouble when the loan is to be closed off.
Desired outcome: I need this account closed and an apology for bad service.
