Disappointing Customer Service Experience
As someone who has been a customer of Chrysler Credit Corp for several years, I must say that my experience has been extremely disappointing. The Customer Service Department has consistently been unhelpful and obstructive, making it challenging to resolve any issues. It seems like their main goal is to get you off the phone without providing any real assistance. I regret not refinancing with a more reputable company sooner. If you value efficient and supportive customer service, I would recommend looking elsewhere for your financing needs.

Unlawful Vehicle repossession. Repossession Department never ever answers
My vehicle was repossessed on 9/5/23. By state law I am required to receive a 30 day notice beforehand. I did not get any information from TD Auto about this. My vehicle has all of work equipment in it and several personal items inside of it. I received a repo letter on 9/14/23. I was already calling the TD Auto repo department when my letter arrived. I have spent hours on him and no one has answered the phone. All of this is a scam to keep my vehicle. I will not stop until I get my vehicle back. I have been prepared to pay my past due payments but no one will take them. You have removed all of my online privileges on your website. When I login I literally can’t do anything.
Desired outcome: I would like my vehicle returned and then given my 30 day repossession notice. I will happily pay my past due balance and continue to be in good standing.Billy [protected]@gmail.com
Did you get this issues resolved?
Did not reach past 3rd missed payment prior to repo
I had been moving from job to job and my direct deposit had not been added yet. TD knows already that I would be paying 08/18/23 for pay day. The 27th of every month is usually when I pay however this morning without notice or email my vehicle was repossessed. I have bank statements and calls proving the situation at hand.
I am able to now make proper payments now that my pay is set up with the company.
Desired outcome: Vehicle returned so I can return to making payments.
How did you get this resolved? I am in the current situation with them as well
Customer Service
I called to make a payment as a POA for my boyfriend while he is deployed for basic training for the Army. I spoke to a representative by the name of Kimberly White. She would not only not allow me to make the payment, even though I have all the necessary information, she refused to escalate me to her manager. She said since the account isn't under my name I am " just a third party" and would not be transferred. As a person with POA (POWER OF ATTORNEY), this shouldn't of been an issue, nor should I of been spoken to this way. I was simply trying to make a payment for a deployed soldier.
Desired outcome: The desired outcome would be better customer service that would help troubleshoot or help find a resolution for payment on the account could be made. To not dismiss a POA when they call, and not to refuse speaking to their manager.

Unlawful repo
I financed my car from TD Auto Finance in May 2022Over the course of one year I fell behind on 3 payments I tried to rectify it with td bank but they would not help me untill my behind payments were paid in full. I have some medical issues with my son which has made me fall behind due to not being able to work. In April 2023 I got a call from the repo office stating that they were taking my car If I didn’t make a payment on my loan arrears so May 2nd I made a full payment of $650.00. Td auto fiancé took my car June 12th 2023 one month after I made a payment on it. When they took it they told me it was going up cost me almost 10k plus to get it back I can’t financially pay that all at once nor should I have to we are now at the end of July I haven’t heard from td auto fiancé and they are threatening to sell my car. As far as I’m concerned they are in the wrong there customer service it’s absolutely disgusting.
This isn’t my first loan with td either . I am not in a huge financial hardship due to not being able to get to and from
Work to pay for my children and everyday life they took a payment and then took my car not even 30 days later.
Desired outcome: I want my wages to be reimbursed since June 12th, I want my car back without having to pay their fees. I have posted my proof of payment history and some months I paid more the what was expected.
My car registration
the finance company has allowed my co signer to take my name off registration so now i cant register or tag my car. i paid co signer for her credit to use only. the car has not been in anyones possetiom but mine im the only owner to the car. i have not allowed anyone to drive have possession of nor lend it to anyone not even to cosigner. she is in her 80s and has no way to pay or has any need for a sports car. she done me a favor as i needed a cosigner so i paid her 5 grand to use her credit. now my name has beeen taken off registration and it was on there the day we signed papers for me to get the car. i spoke to salesman and he said that my name should be on registration so i needed to file a complaint with ya and have ya contact me. i have all the paper work and as you caan see youn have recieved payments from my bank account and not cosigners.
Desired outcome: i need my name on paperwork and if possible take and refimamce without cosigner since this is going to end up with her family trying to take my car.
Would not take payments for 300 Chrysler
My name Jackie Livingston I had a car financing TV finance company Chrysler 300 2015 and I miss some payments on it and I was wanting to make up with the payments they would not let me back a payment or take it and then my niece trying to even make payments and they will not take them so I got my car repossessed when I didn't know it they took my tag and they sold my car and I only had a little bit to pay on it then I had to go refinance another one and I didn't have the money to do that with so I think that TD should let me make the payments and I still have my car I don't understand why they wouldn't take the payments so I just want to know why they took my car and what made me and payments my name is Jackie Livingston the owner of the car with Johnny Livingston and my husband he was the one that was signer on the loan he passed away in January the 3rd 2020 he passed away and I was trying to make some payments on the car cuz I had had mine set up on auto pay and the companies can't you know but let me make a payment or 95 years old and now I'm paying for another vehicle I can't afford. I almost had that car pay for I like that car I like driving that car I had never had no problems when he was alive and after he passed they put on the checks the state I don't know how they're going to wheel of his I like to know that I've been trying to talk to him and trying to find out what's going on so I can't afford a lawyer nothing but I'm just 85 year old woman out here that's struggling trying to get my bills paid and they're not helping by doing this.
Auto finance
I paid off my car loan and did nor receive my title I contacted TD Auto fiance to find out when I would receive my title. They requested as a security question, how long was my finance the length of my contract and the month I bought the car! If your like me I have trouble remember what I ate for dinner last night!
I have the Vin # of the car, my address, the amount of the payoff , the check # the payoff was made with it with, the date I paid it off and my social security number.
Sheba, a supervisor said I would have to cal back so that they could ask me another security question.
I asked her in general for all customers who pay of their car how long do it take to get the tile. she reused to answer.
I just wanted to know when my title wold be mailed to me
Desired outcome: Discipline supervisor and agent
Buick verano 2014 - late fees and returned check fees after mother's death
My mother passed away [protected], we contacted TD Auto on [protected] to notify them but they would not speak to us. 45 days later when we received the transfer of assets form and death certificate we immediately mailed them copies. They have assessed several late fees and returned check fees claiming they did not know my mother was deceased. That is a false statement - they did know!
We are trying to payoff the vehicle but want the late fees and returned check fees removed.
Desired outcome: All assessed fees removed and actual detailed payoff information provided.
Your company
This is the worse financial company ever! They try they best to not give you a extension. They make up every reason and constantly ask you for money. I am in a medical financial hardship and I been playing catch up with them since I been sick. Every time I call its a excuse. The first one is. You haven't had the loan longer then a year. I'm like I never heard of that. Then I try again all of a sudden, they didn't receive my payment so they cant do it. They receive my payment every other time but now I need a extension yall didnt recieve it! [censored].
Website navigation
Navigating their website is such an infuriating experience. I only want to give them my money and it's like they don't want me to. I log in, error, logs me out. I log in again, go to my account, go to pay, error, logs me out again. repeat 5x until I can actually schedule a payment. Oh, I want to see my payoff amount. Error, logs me out.
Next month: I want to make a payment. "We can't find your account, please provide your account number, vin and social." This is a joke, isn't it. I'm sure you have enough money to hire a competent website designer, or do you just hate your customers that much?
Desired outcome: Fix your website.
Car title
I paid off my car at the beginning of September, as of today almost four weeks later I have yet received my title. I have called every week and they just tell me I should have it by the end of the week. Well 4 weeks later I call again, and they just tell me is in the process of getting released. I checked my local DMV and it still has a lien on it. So, I have to pay for another month's insurance at my cost. I offered to pay and have the title overnighted to me they refused. I asked for an electronic title, and they said no can do. Customer service is polite but not really helpful. So, if you ever consider financing a car from them Don't Do It!
Paid off the loan they will not release lien
Paid off the loan will not release Lien
This whole mess started with me trying to change my name due to marriage on my registration and title and they wouldn’t send the paperwork to my DMV for like two months I got frustrated with it and decided to pay off the loan with a cashiers check (no other lienholders the payment came out of my savings) and now they won’t release the lien so I can get the title. Even though I emailed the document that they need to fill in for my DMV. Their customer service is horrible and does not read emails - they do not read the secure messages and even when I’m on the phone with them they don’t pay any attention to the actual details of the case. I had one incompetent agent asked me what my new last name was at the end of the call even though this whole thing started with me changing my name and they had all that information and I explained that to start with. Useless. Completely useless.
Desired outcome: I need them to send me the lien release form that I provided to them via an email or something equivalent that my DMV will accept so that I can go get replacement copy of my title.
Surrendered auto
I surrendered my 2016 Dodge Challenger in 2019 and TD Auto Finance charged me over $4,000 the difference in what I owed and what they sold it for. I had stage 3 Cancer in December 2018 and had to leave my job of 28 years and get on Social Security Disability which is one fourth of what I was earning and couldn't make payments anymore so I voluntarily surrendered the vehicle. I knew it was going to ruin my credit but I was fighting for my life. The account is closed and the $4,000 has been charged off since 2019 But they are still adding interest to the amount and reporting to the credit bureaus that this closed account is delinquent and the amount is now showing over $5,000. How can they add interest to a CLOSED AND CHARGED OFF ACCOUNT?
Debra Holman
Desired outcome: Stop adding interest every month on my closed account. I am permanently disabled from the cancer and treatments
Payment Extension
My job had little work for me for a couple weeks and I had numerous Dental appointments to attend to. Up until recently I was working very regularly and told TD Auto Finance that I will be back to my full time work schedule. I simply asked for a 1 month payment extension because I could not make this month's payment.
TD Auto Finance said because I wouldn't be able to make a payment for two weeks they denied my extension.
I made it very clear that the reason I was asking for an extention was because I CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY TO MAKE MY PAYMENT. I told the rep that If I had the money then why would I need to call and seek an extension.
I am regretting every bit of having them finance me instead of my Credit Union.
Auto Loan
My incident sounds alot like others. Mine was extreme, and cost me dearly financially and emotionally.
February 25.
TDA says they have recieved final payoff payment and loan has been satisfied.
March 14th.
I call, they say they have been trying to contact me to find out where to send the title. They had my current information. They say it will be released and mailed today.
March 18th.
I call just to make sure things were on the up and up. Boy this is where it all turns a little wacky.
They say it was only released to b3 released to the mail department.
I call everyday 3 times a day for 9 days. Every single time, it was a different story, different date mailed. Wrong address that we have confirmed twice before. I would ask to speak to a supervisor, where i was spoken to as if i were a kid and wet behind the ears.
I was told it was sent snail mail with no tracking number. HUH. why on earth would you do that when ive been calling daily. Expedite that request.
Here is the kicker, i get a letter from them indicating they would like to speak about what had happened, i got a direct phone line and a first name. I said wow, they gonna make this right. Ive left many voicemails, no call back.
Between two lost sales, a financial decision and storage fees, i have hard documentation i dicating they cost me FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS.
They are lieing, cold people and organization. These statements are back by FACTS.
Desired outcome: I want financial reimbursement
TD Auto Finance
They are holding my insurance check and will not send information to the body shop needed in order to release my vehicle. I was lied to by multiple employees and they could not even give me information about their own company. I was was also told that they could not overnight anything to the body shop without the body shop having a UPS account. It has been excuse after wxcusenwith this company. This is not a way that customers should be treated and I will NEVER use this company again!
Desired outcome: I just need them to send a simple email or fax stating that they will release the check to the body shop.
How they dealt with my reporting the death of my husband.
My husband passed away on 4/12/21 and our car was registered in only his name. His will says I am sole heir and I have not missed a payment since his passing. I faxed a death certificate and a legal document stating I am the executor of the estate. I talked to a representative and they suggested I fill out paperwork to see if I qualify to add my name to the loan. They never sent any paperwork. I just got a letter stating I have to pay the entire amount off and I need to contact them to work out a payment plan. I already have a payment plan. I have it deducted every month from my checking account.
Not one payment has been missed! Ever.
I tried calling the number for customer service and cannot get through to anyone who can help me. I was told by one that this had been turned over to recovery and they gave me a different number. No one answers.
I have been honest in my dealings with the company. God forgive them for taking advantage of widows. They expect me to come up the whole amount immediately.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology as I have been forthcoming with all information concerning this loan and their response makes it appear that this loan is in default. Which it is not.
I am having the same problem. I tried for two months to have the loan transferred to my name. They would not talk to me and said they would recover the vehicle. In the meantime my attorney told me not to take over the loan, to just let them recover the vehicle. I was then told I had to get a 3rd party loan to pay off the vehicle (a lie). My insurance will no longer insure the vehicle as legally, it is not mine so I stopped making payments hoping they would come and get the vehicle. I have told them this and they refuse to talk to me until I send them a Executor of Estate document. There is none as my husband passed away with no assets to pay off his debts so there was nothing to probate. My attorney said she could file paperwork, but it was costly and not necessary. His other two creditors have been absolutely wonderful and simply wrote off the debt per state law. Again, I was told they would recover the vehicle. That was over three weeks ago and I'm still waiting. The stress and axiety on top of losing my husband of 37 years is severely affecting my health. The sad part is both of us have tried to do the right thing and are being punished by people who have no clue what they are doing.
Ted auto finance loan close out.
I was selling my car to a third party who agreed to pay off a lump sum of Approximately $12, 000. I simply had to pay the remaining balance of just under $800. So I call and authorized the TD auto finance agent to make a one time lump sum debit request on my account for $800. To days later my bank shows a NSF fee on a requested amount of $845. So I called to clear up with TD Auto finance and state that they over charged my account and as a result, it was returned. After they assured me that this unauthorized amount of payment would not try to go through my account again, I said I would again like to try to pay the agreed amount of $800. So I authorized a second payment of $800. This payment cleared my account. HOWEVER, the sum of $845 also tried to clear my account again. This amount again was returned NSF.
Bottom line - due to clerical errors on TD Auto finance agents behalf, I was charged $45 twice by my banking institution for nsf's on my account. In addition, TD Auto finance charged me as well for two nsf fees. The fees were on a transaction amount that was never authorized. ($845 was not authorized but $800 was and cleared the account)
Through multiple calls to TD auto finance, initiated by myself. I tried to clarify all of the banking mistakes.
In all, TD Auto finance is refusing to refund my account an amount $810.53. Which I had over paid when closing out the loan with a third party. Furthermore, they refuse to reimburse me the $45x2 that my institution has charged me for nsf x2.
Finally, they admitted that they had made clerical errors, they refunded one of the two nsf fees that they applied to my overall balance.
Overall, these thieves have withheld $810.53 refund that I am entitled to too as well, they charged me an additional $45 and I incurred two additional $45 nsf fees through my bank.
I payoff a loan EARLY, in full and they still stick me with an additional loss of $945.53.
Merry Christmas to the bank who just took Christmas from my family.
Desired outcome: Call out these thieves……
Td Auto Finance is the worst.
I've never been late on my payments, but they are always late deducting my payments.
Most recently,
July 1st (Canada Day - Understandable), payment not withdrawn.
July 2nd - 4th
payment not withdrawn. I get worried, so I go ahead and make my $180.60 payment that EVENING on the 4th.
July 5th
Payment is deducted and returned with an extra $45 NSF fee added on the my account.
July 6th - 29th
I receive 5 calls a day (not kidding) from different agents asking me to pay my past due balance. I keep asking them to check their notes. The payment was already made and received, they agree to reverse it from the principal and apply it to the July 1 payment of $180.60. The solution was to check internally not keep calling me. My part was done.
Agents assured me I wouldn't have any impacts on my credit score because they will have it adjusted to reflect my payment (which was made EARLY). They say they have to investigate because the payment has been received but not applied to my.
loan?
Aug 1st
Credit Score drops 54 points. Says I am 30 to 59 days past due ! They also took a payment out on July 15th which should have erased the July 1 due date. So how am I that far past due?
I call TD they say the cash agent is on vacation with noone to cover. The agent was aware of your inquiry but left it alone to go on vacation
And now I am here, waiting for them to apply to payment still and fix my credit score.
Auto financing
My name is John Somers. I purchased my care from Bob King Kia in WInston Salem NC. My friend owns the company. First I was supposed to get interest
at just a little over 3.1% APR. I called today because I used Bill Pay with Wells Fargo and the check for November was sent on 11/10/21 for a due date of 11/20/21. I thought everything was fine until yesterday I received my bill stating I had a late charge. I called and explained the situation and the lady said she would remove the late charge and I should stop payment on the check which I did today. I then tried to use by Debit card to make the payment only to find out the late fee was not removed. I called and the person that answered could not speak English worth a flip. I was told I would have to call back (crazy they are suppose to help your customer). I called back and got a very very rude person who told me I could not have the fee removed. I paid the November payment that should have gone through like all of my other bills except TD Auto Finance. This is the second time this year this has happened.
I have already filed a complaint with BBB. I will pay the last payment over the phone on the due date but tomorrow I am going to one of my two banks and pay off my loan with you. Secondly, I am going to tell my Dealership friend that you are a disreputable company and they should never do business with you again. Thirdly I will tell all of my family, friends, and neighbors how horrible you are. Fourth I will post on as many Social Media Platforms as possible how horrible you are. I am 75 years old
and was the CEO of a company in South Carolina until I retired. I would have fired any customer service rep that talked to my customers like I was talked to,
I am sure like most big companies you don't care what your customers think as long as some poor fools keep coming to you. I am fortunate that I don't have to do business with you but thought the supposedly 3.1% was less than I am drawing on my retirement.
When I ask to speak to the man's supervisor I was told someone would call me 24 to 48 hours. That is the most ridiculous thing I have heard, however for a company that the BBB in Greenville, S.C. complaints about your company is one star out of 5. I tried to give you zero but you had to use a number,
My hope is that your company sinks like a ship, Sadly I am sure there are
elderly people who have been scammed by you and can't do anything.
I really don't want a resolution from your company, it would most like turn out to be a lie anyway.
Desired outcome: None

NO PAYMENTS HAVE BEEN MISSED. I have been honest in my dealings with the company. God forgive them for taking advantage of widows. They expect me to come up the whole amount immediately.
SCRA benefits
I've been deployed for almost 6 months now. Before I deployed I called TD costumer service to ask about getting my interest lowered to 6%. The lady kept telling me if I wanted to change my interest rate I would have to call the dealer a bought my truck from. That doesn't even make sense though. One a bank finances a vehicle from a dealer it is the dealers problem anymore. It's up to the bank to change the interest rate.
Desired outcome: Change my interest rate to 6% and give back interest owed.
