TD Auto Finance Auto loan

in June 2018 we paid off our 2012 dodge avenger. Never received a title, when called TD said they sent it to an old address. However, we have been receiving statements from them. In march we gifted the vehicle to someone and we have been waiting since march 17th for the lien release. We have been told three different stories and that it would take 7-10 business days. The last representative said that it has to be notarized and should be coming. Will we ever get a lien release so the new owners can register the vehicle. We were never late on the payment and this is unethical

Desired outcome: lien release

TD Auto Finance Auto loan

This complaint is on behalf of my 89 year old uncle. Central Avenue Hyundai in Hartdale NY. are also very much involved in this case of fraud of an 89 year old veteran. My uncle went to return his leased car and was convinced to buy instead. He had been leasing a Hyundai Elantra 2018, for 2 year. The price on the car when he leased it was $19, 995.00. The sales person convinced uncle Dave to pay $4, 000 and then finance $15, 000. The regular financial bank for the dealership refused because the requested amount was more than the car was worth. That's where TD Bank stepped in. Three weeks after buying the car, my uncle had to be admitted to the hospital for confusion and is currently in an assisted living facility due to forgetfulness and poor decision making. We have tried to work with both TD bank and Central Avenue Hyundai to return the car and cancel the financial agreement that never should have been made. They are definitely not helpful. We plan on filing complaints with Federal Trade Commission, NYS Attorney General's Office, Better Business Bureau and the Westchester County office of the aging civil rights division. I recommend anyone else to do the same.

Desired outcome: Cancel financial agreement

TD Auto Finance refund from total loss

I had a total loss on 9/5/19. My insurance company/GAP paid off my vehicle and since I have been told multiple times that I would be getting my refund check. Going on 5 months now and I continually get told that my refund check has been cut and will be overnighted to me. I get told I will get a call with the tracking number. Every time I call I get told the same thing. If I were late on a payment I would be charged tons of interest and fees. I WANT my refund NOW! I had to pay with a credit card some items while I awaited the total loss verification process and now I am paying a VERY high interest rate while I wait on this. I want a truthful statement instead I continually get a lie.

TD Auto Finance auto pay

Purchased a jeep in 2013 paid for five years on auto pay and when I called to see why I never received a title and was told I was over thirty days late, I paid the balance instantly over the phone to a very rude individual. It really didn't bother me until they attacked my credit., Buyer and co signer both affected. My agreement states, that if I do not receive a last payment notice, they will deduct payment automatically. I never received a notice of any kind and also no call or any thing to let us know there was a problem. We have been at the same address and have the same phone over forty years and can honestly say once on auto pay we never received any type of communication from TD Bank there after. Please reinstate our credit.
Thank You

TD Auto Finance an auto loan

I did not agree to any accruing daily interest. I was told that the interest charge would amount to roughly 8 thousand dollars. So far I paid in like 4 thousand in interest in just a little over 2 years. I have until 2023 on this loan, if TD Auto keeps charging me this outrageous daily accruing interest, the interest will come to over 10 thousand. That is breech of contract. This is not in my contract. This is unfair debt collection. I haven't missed one payment, my credit score is 730. What would a Jury say? I will be contacting a good attorney. Class Action, because I'm not the only one.

I asked TD Auto finance to send my vehicle title to Alabama because I need to have my license plates changed over. They said 4-6 weeks(it was over 2 months), I was specific that I needed the title ID number. The faxed over an electronic title WITHOUT the title ID number, so Alabama rejected the title. I called them, told them I needed the original title, they said California sent the title to the wrong address so it would be another 4-6 weeks. The electronic title they sent to Alabama had same address which California mailed the title to, so obviously they are not updating their address and now I have to wait 4 months for a 4 week process. Their representatives are dismissive and do not listen to my questions. I need my car to work so I have been losing money, and they refuse to waive or delay one of my payments. Each time I call they are completely lost in regards to what is going on with each different rep I speak to, so they do not bother to read file notes and half of them gave me attitude and spoke over me when I called. I have called them numerous times, each time without reaching a resolution besides being told I have to wait.

TD Auto Finance loan service

Simply put - do not waste your time using TD Auto if you enjoy the convenience of handling everything online through a nice organized web page. Their website is so poorly laid-out and managed that you will have no idea what your payments are and how they are being applied. They have a handy secure message option on the website, but they are incapable of responding via email through this option - you will only receive auto-replies that include symbols making it appear as if this whole thing is a scam (still not convinced it isn't at this point) - see picture for email response which have typically looked worse. These auto-replies are only capable of saying TD Auto cannot respond via email and you must call them... which is a waste of time, unless you enjoy sitting on the phone for an hour to remedy absolutely nothing.

TD Auto Finance getting errors

I have been a long time paymeing clients on time since the moment i got the loan with td for my car.

On 01/2019 i made a payment on my auto loan and they applied it towards my principle, not my regular payment. I never requested that to occur. Thus making my first late on my perfect payment history.
I never knew that had done that until i got one of their automatic calls stating that i am late on my payment. I called immediately. and within 2 weeks they got that rectified. and assured me this mistake would never happen again.

Well, 03/2019 the same mistake happened. they applied a payment that .i made without my consent or direction to the principle loan payment there fore making me late again. I started getting the calls telling me i was passed due.

I called up customer care and went thru the whole issue again. the representative was apologetic and assured me that this would be rectified immediately and t hat i would not have to make my payment for March since they see i made the payment and it was an internal error for applying it to the principle vs the regular payment.

April comes along. I log into my account and guess what, it still is reflecting htat i have not paid for March 2019.
I was infuriated. Meanwhile my credit is being damaged. I called up and once again spoke with customer care... the representative started all being very demanding about me being past due. Then i told her she was wrong and to go back and look at the history payment. She started apologizing . I asked her to fix htat right away. She said she can not not but she escalated the case so so the 859.00 payment would be reversed and be applied properly. She also told me i did not have to worry about march 2019. Just go ahead and pay for April and everything will be OK within the next 10 days, and any damage on teh credit would be corrected.

May 2019 comes around the corner. I started getting the calls again saying I am passed due again. I was angry now. I go online and what do you know, the Cashiering Department still has not made the adjustments. we are now well into 80 days. I was not polite this time. I made my payment for May 2019 even thought he representative told me that i should not because the reverse will be done covering the month of May 2019.
At this point i have not confidence. So i said to the girl.

PLEASE - PLEASE, just make sure you apply it to my June 2019 payment and I will make the first payment in July 2019. No worries was the response, it will be escalated and you have nothing to worry about.

JUNE 2019... To day I lost it. I got a call form my lender telling me that they will not be able to continue with my loan because my credit decreased 12 points. Below their threshold. I asked why and they revealed to me because I have been late on my TD auto loan since March 2019. SO know because of TD I am about to loose 40k as a down payment because i can not perform and got to closing on July 2019.
I provided proof that i have made payment on time and that TD is basically ruin my credit because of their lack of staff or the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. 90days for them to correct an error they did, they applied without any direction form me.

I called up TD today and got the same fracking run around.
This time I asked to speak to a supervisor. NON AVAILABLE. She was very rude. Her name was / is TASHINA.
I hung up and called again, this time it as a gentlemen by the name of Rodney. He started telling me how I was late again. Do not these people read any notes? are they just robots with no sense of customer services and reviewing what is on file? He finally did one i stopped him half way while he was giving me me his speech. I demanded to speak to a supervisor...NON AVAILABLE. They can take my name and number and someone will call me back within 24 / 48 hours.
That supervisors name that does not have the time to take the call after HIS company has screwed up my credit, name is Kenneth Boomer ( or Kenneth Broomer ).
Tell me something, will this multi billion dollar bank, TD pay me the 40k I will loose bc now the lender cannot continue with-the loan bc my credit dropped below their guidelines? My credit will continue to go down bc of their lack of employees or proficiency...
I never had anything like this happen to me.

i need the proper credit to be immediately done to my account an applied towards my may payment 2019 even thought it this principle reversal should have bene done back in 03 / 2019.

TD Auto Finance pathetic, rude customer service

One thing I must say, they hired the most arrogant customer service agent, they treat caller like anything, doesn't listen to concern properly. I have been following up with them for my car total loss documents to be released to my insurance co. and my insurance co has been great help and in return they are accusing my insurance co for delay. Totally absent minded administration, not sure how still they exists in us market.

TD Auto Finance worst customer service ever

Trying to simply transfer my title as I have moved out of state. Seems simple and easy, was a very straightforward process when we did my wife's car through a different lender.

Called TD to see what they needed from me to get the process started. Was instructed to fax the DMV documents along with DMV request for title, mail the fees to them and they will send to Oregon DMV. 5 days later I receive a call from TD explaining that they received my fax but not the request. After a bunch of back & forth, they tell me that they actually do have what they need but...it doesn't work to fax because they need the original documents.

Now I have to excuse myself from work because the near week they let go by means I will not have my new registration for months (90days) + 5 extra days.

Long story short, find a lender with quality, knowledgeable, trained, and informed customer service personnel. TD Auto has none of those.

I paid off my vehicle and there has been a delay in receiving the title. After three calls and almost an hour on the phone, I couldn't get any information. They wouldn't even tell me the status of the title. The service rep. said I gave the wrong Social Security number, which was untrue. I then was told I would have to start the call process all over again. I gave up. I will never have anything to do with TD Automobile Finance.

TD Auto Finance haven't received document

I've faxed the same document over to this company a total of three times! Upon reaching out to make sure they've received it, they haven't. I was told by the customer service rep that faxing this document would be a faster way of them receiving it, in most cases indeed but not with this company. I was told by another rep that the fax can sometimes be iffy...so why do you have a fax number? Now their saying mail it! If this company didn't want to change my payment date, the rep should have never offered it as being a resolve to the problem I am having! I'll be mailing the document and sending it certified to make Sure someone, somewhere, over the rainbow receives it.

TD Auto Finance overcharged

I financed a 2019 Can-am Outlander in August. My payments should go out automatically on the 10th of each month. For the second time in a row now, the have taken out the payment, returned it, and took out $45 from my account because I "have insufficient funds". THERE. WAS. ENOUGH. MONEY. So they take out the $45 and when I call them to tell them to try again, I have to pay ANOTHER $45 as though they didn't take it out in the first place. And then they have the audacity to tell me that they take out the payment and then the bank let's them know that there isn't enough money so they return it. [censored]! If there isn't enough money then the payment won't process in the first place. You don't make a payment and then "return" it. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't finance anything at TD.

TD Auto Finance payment not received

A 2018 Malibu was purchased from Steve Raymond Chevrolet on August 14, 2018. This purchase was financed through you. On September 12 a payment was attempted. According to my bank, the wrong account number was submitted and was returned to you as "No good checks". On September 24th the payment was resubmitted and paid. On Tuesday, October 2, I called to have the payment date changed and was informed that my payment had not been received. My bank sent you a letter and the statement showing the money had been drafted from my account on September 24, 2018.
I received a letter from you dated 9/12/18 authorizing the electronic transfer which was completed on 9/24/18. I have spoken to different people in your company every day this week, but have not been successful. My bank has sent two letters and attempted to call you without success. This was the first payment and I have not been able to complete the transaction. I have asked for a manager but was disconnected. This is very frustrating. Please call me at [protected].

TD Auto Finance car purchase

Ordered a Nissan Stanza.
They delivered the same day - 7:30 AT NIGHT
I drove the car for a month. No bill received or information as to where to send the payment either.
Another month went by and exactly the same result.
-- A couple of days later they showed up in the middle of the night - 7:30 PM. They did the belly push threat to see if they could knock me down but having been in Military Self Defense, I did not get knocked down but stood my ground. I told them to call the police. They ignored me. I then went in (and told them) that I was calling the police. They disappeared immediately and the police came and took my statement.
Some online discussions (disguised threats) (well not really very disguised).
A week or so later they showed up with a group of (large, muscular but seemingly respectful BUT VERY DEMANDING men showed up (again about 7:30 at night). They were able to override my remote control device and they took it and RAN. By the time the Police arrived all I could do is give a police report by NO evidence or witnesses.
I decided that the best thing was just to pay it off. I went down and did so the next day.
A week or so later electronically inactivated my car. Later that EVENING they showed up and physically took the car despite my attempt to get the police to show up and stop them. It only took a few minutes to take my car and they split as if they were afraid that the police would show up quickly.
A few minutes after they left he police showed up and started asking for evidence, my opinion and if I could PROVE that they forcefully took my car.

WELL. Now Gilpin Miata has my new car AND the money I had sent to pay it off. NOW they know nothing about what happened and are playing dumb.

I talked to a lawyer and his response was (I had no witnesses and therefore NO proof).

Now I know not to trust car dealers AND the POLICE.

TD Auto Finance representative - customer service

So I haven't paid my car off yet - fine.
The first document I send to them have a receipt that did not show "paid full."
I call on 7/28 and was told by rep. "ok no problem we can hold on to the check and send to you once we received the receipt that said "paid full."
A week later, call back got another rep was told you did not paid your account we can't talk to you until you paid (mind you I was in a car accident no work no money have to borrow from a friend to do that).
call back another week goes by was told by rep there is no information on where the check is in the system no note so what is going on? (seriously? what is this? a joke? new staff? someone don't wants to work? - p***ing me off as this goes on).
call back a week later (this is the fourth week- 8/23/18). got yet ANOTHER rep was told check was send to auto place on 7/23 (and I have to call my ins to find out when was cash- 8/8/18).

How upset DO YOU THINK I SHOULD BE?

TD Auto Finance my title (which seems to be a hotpoint here)

My husband had a jeep that we financed however, he died and I continued to make payments after his death and paid it off. I notified them of his death and faxed them the death certificate which names me as his wife. TD auto first told me they would not release the title to me and wanted the jeep back (funnily enough, not until AFTER I had paid it off). This happens to be legal in some states however it is not in California. Once they found out it wasn't legal here, they said they mailed it to me and gave me an incorrect address where it was mailed.

This company is evil. To put a widow, who is missing her husband desperately and crying every day anyhow, through a lying fraudulent scam to make what...10 grand? is just wrong.

I want the title and I never want to hear from TD Auto again.

TD Auto Finance Title Release

I paid my loan off in full 2 months ago. I paid 49k off in under a year. I reported my new address when I paid it off, yet they mailed my title to my old address. I never received it and TD told me it was on the way. One representative actually lied telling me they sent the title and I would need to go to my local DMV to request a duplicate. I waited in line 4 hours only to be told that all companies know that only the registered owner --TD AUTO finance, can request a duplicate.
I called back and got wrong information several times such as no TD auto finance can not re-send me the title, before finally someone said they can in fact mail it to my new address.
I believe if I failed to pay my loan for 2 months TD would charge me fees and probably repossess my vehicle. There are no consequences for them failing to provide a legal, time sensitive document? There should be. I am reporting them to the better business bureau. They nearly cost me late fees with DMV due to my registration expiring. Terribly dishonest and I will let all my colleagues know how irresponsible this company is.
