This place, Emerald Cove Resort, is a total scam. They try to sell you a timeshare in just one hour, and they expect you to make a decision worth $14,000! On top of that, they make you pay $500 in yearly dues for the rest of your life. They don't even bother giving you all the necessary details about the membership. The salesperson looked really messy and unprofessional, which made me doubt their credibility even more. And when we declined their offer, he got angry. The so-called "gift" they gave us was a gas card worth $200, but here's the catch: you can only get $50 every 60 days if you send in a receipt and register with them. What a joke! It's like dealing with the same kind of shady business you'd expect from La Mesa RV.

I have left my name, phone number, time share number, and my request that I need to deposit my week in order to trade a week for future travel dates to lock in a travel vacation. They have not responded, leaving me with no contact information and unable to use my benefits that I need to go on a desired vacation. I pay for these benefits and I pay Annual fees. I am requesting a full refund on annual dues due to constantly struggling to get a hold of anyone at my own timeshare. Ridiculous. They are taking my money without doing their job to make sure their timeshare people are being taken care of, that is not right, taking advantage of people who put in their hard-earned money for a vacation timeshare that won't communicate.

I keep gettin a call from a woman named Rashad from Colorado River Adventures. I tol her the first time to put me on a do not call list, but she hung up on me before I could get it out. She also spoke over me and never listened. She has called and left messages at least 3 other times. I answered the phone today to finally get rid of these calls. She was extremely rude. I felt like I was bein attacked over the phone. She is the worst telemarketer that I have ever experienced. I am not a person to write a review, but this had to stop. She kept sayin that we entered a drawin in Julian, CA. My husband and I hav not been to Julian in years and NEVER enter contests. From what I can tell from other reviews, this is some type of time share or membership. If this person is like any of the others who work for this organization, I would highly suggest not gettin involved.

I managed to gather all the necessary information to sell the membership and found buyers. I followed the instructions step by step and completed a bill of sale and transfer form. The transfer form clearly stated the cost of the transfer. I sent everything in, but when the couple who bought the membership asked for the contract, it was not provided. They also tried to pay the transfer fee, but they were given different rates and still no contract.
To resolve the issue, I reached out to Debbie *** and asked for specific information, but she refused to provide it. I also asked her to show me where the information was clearly stated on the transfer document, but she didn't respond. I would like either the new buyers to be charged the agreed-upon price or for my membership to be canceled without any cost and for this year's maintenance fees to be refunded. They directed me to a company from FL who took $350 but didn't do anything and never called me back. I continued paying my dues for years because I was informed that I couldn't sell unless my dues were up to date. I contacted CR and they informed me that I could simply give up my share. So, I said 'OK' to the person who answered the phone, and they assured me they would assist me. However, I kept receiving yearly dues bills. I paid until December . Then, I was sent to *** Collections. I called CR and spoke with *** in billing, but I hung up when she said she couldn't do anything and advised me to call ***. I followed her advice and *** told me that only CR could remove me from collections. I called CR again and spoke with *** to discuss a settlement for pennies on the dollar, but she retaliated for my previous hang-up by hanging up on me. I haven't used CR in years and was told I could relinquish my share. I requested to do so, but here we are. I owe nothing. This should be resolved.

I got there early in the morning. There was a radio at the front security office telling everyone to call for 24-hour security. I called security every 15 minutes for 2 hours and no one answered. While I waited, I saw that the place wasn't gated and cars were coming and going without any check-in. It made me feel really unsafe, especially since I'm a single woman camper. Finally, I got to my campsite, but there were shoes and clothes scattered around. I cleared a spot for my RV and set it up. The next day, there were more clothes and shoes from strangers next to my RV's wheel. I think CRA should let me cancel my membership because they didn't keep me safe like they promised. They won't let me cancel or give me a refund.

We were told we would need to speak with the sales agent who sold us the contract so we asked to speak with *** and they said he no longer worked there so we should call the main offices to negotiate with them directly. They knew that we were legally within our right to cancel the contract and they did everything they could to give us the run around so we would miss the rescission period. This is in direct violation of our rights as consumers! Anytime we tried contacting your main offices, we were never able to speak with an actual person. We were sent to voicemails and even when we left messages, our calls were never returned. We were being deliberately ignored so we’d be forced to keep the contract. We were never able to reach anyone that would help us with the cancellation we were requesting.

Since COVID started, I haven't been able to use my membership at all. The parks have been closed most of the time or unavailable. I'm paying $250.00 a month for something I can't use. Unfortunately, my husband lost his job, and we've been borrowing money to make these payments, struggling to make ends meet. I called and was told I have to pay off the membership before selling it, or I can write to the company and see if they can write off the balance. I've sent three emails and mailed them a letter, but I haven't received any response. I've also called, but they keep giving me the runaround. They said if I sent a letter with proof, they might consider forgiving the membership debt. I understand things are different now and companies are short-staffed, but at least acknowledging receipt would be appreciated. My bill and yearly maintenance are due this month, and I'm trying to be proactive and avoid becoming delinquent. If you can help resolve this matter, I would greatly appreciate it.
