Empower Energy Solutions installed solar panels on my house almost 3 months ago, but they still don't work. They were fast to finish the job and get paid, but they used a bank that I refused and still got the money. They also lied about no payments for a year, as we're now down to 9 months. I need to call them repeatedly for updates, but they promise to call back and never do. I just want them removed, and I'll go with any other company. They even have cosmetic issues like different color panels, no end caps, and dipping panels that they over-tightened, which I noticed and told them on the installation day.

Ryan Severin from Empower has been amazing to work with. He knows so much about solar, including how to get those sweet incentives from the government. When we needed a new roof before the installation, Ryan figured out both the technical and financial parts for us. The install team was great too, being professional and careful to not mess up our gardens. They were quick and efficient, and everything went off without a hitch. We totally recommend Empower!

I started with Empower Energy to buy some solar panels for my house back in June. It was all real fast, they signed me up, finished the loan thingie, and made their sale. At long last, they scheduled the installation for August 10th. A bunch of people arrived on 8/10 and after one hour they said they could not complete the job. They needed to put a battery in my basement but they ain't have the stuff to do that, and they also said there ain't enough space in the basement to have the battery. So, they skadoodled and did not finish anything. And then they said a rep would call me soon to discuss other options. Finally, 3 weeks went by, and Empower didn't say nothing, and solar panels were just taking up space in my driveway. I called the sales rep who sold me this stuff and he said he didn't know what was going on. But he followed up a day later, on 8/30 and promised to set up a new installation date, and this time, they would make the battery work as they first planned. A whole new team appeared on 9/8 to do the installation. They said they would need at least three hours to cut my power off, which was not in the initial plan. Very inconvenient since I work at home. But finally, my husband told them just to get it done that day, no matter what. Around 3 pm, they packed up their stuff and said nothing to me and just left. Half the job was still not done. I called to ask what was going on, and they said to their boss that I would not let them turn off the power since I work from home. Which was a big, fat lie. So now it's September 15th, and they have not scheduled nothing yet to complete the project.

Phenomenal experience so far. Cost per kilowatt is comparable to national average and financing terms were almost zero percent , unbelievable service so far.

I reached out to a couple of companies for quotes on my system. I picked these guys bc they were the most knowledgeable. I'm satisfied and would recommend them to anyone.

We have been very impressed with Stefan P who has worked with us day and night, answering all our questions and been available 24/7. We are in need of a new roof and Stefan has, again, walked us through every step. While we haven't had the roof or solar installed yet, we are very close and Stefan has been instrumental in making this all come together. The process has been seamless with Stefan at the helm.

I signed up for solar and was told it would take 30-45 days to set up. It's been 6 months now and the company lied to me about waiting for a permit. I called my local town hall and found out that no permit had been submitted. Finally, they got the permit, but I am very unhappy with how they have handled the process. They came and worked for 2 hours, then didn't come back for 7 more days, repeating this pattern for 2 weeks. Now they won't even contact the inspector for my town to come out and check their work. They cashed my check but I'm still not up and running. I've called and asked to speak with the owner, Asim H, but it's been 2 months and still no call back. Please help me! I've told them I'm contacting the ComplaintsBoard.com, but they don't seem to care.

Got approached by D2D solar sale in August . We agreed to meet and on 9/12 signed contrct to install solar. We thought we'd have solar by Christmas or soon after, but it wasn't until Spring 2022 that the panels went up on the roof, and twice they've failed inspection. Customer service is willing to talk, but they don't know about inspections, installation, or the deets in general. They just say "I'll escalate your concern". Our sales rep who was supposed to help us through the whole process has left the company. His boss messaged us, but won't pick up the phone or hear out our concerns. At this point, Empower is breaking the contract since they had 12 months to get the installation done and dusted from the signing date.
