Excellent service and professionalism
Excellent service and professionalism. The Tesla battery was installed in just several hours and the electricity was out for less than an hour versus the four to five hours I was expecting. The installer thoroughly explained the system functionality and also demonstrated the Tesla power wall app. The installer also demonstrated how the power wall would function in the event of a power outage. The transition from the grid to the power wall was seamless, just a slight flicker in the lights. I'm very happy with the power wall installation.
Guys they didnt pay me for this review I know when you read these your like this dude got cash but I didnt I really like V3 they are honest
Guys they didnt pay me for this review I know when you read these your like this dude got cash but I didnt I really like V3 they are honest super nice I got solar 2 years ago and now I have 2 powerwalls installed great service great employees great job passes inspection and works perfect very little to no settle up and if solar wont work for you due to low usage or due to low light they tell you the truth told my dad they couldnt help him and he shouldnt get solar when someone else was about to install and screw him over most companies dont care V3 seems to care which is good
All V3 employee' arrived on time and were in uniform with badges. They conducted themselves, and their work, in professional, competent, and dedicated manner at all times. They paid close attention to our questions about the various details of the installation process, and what we should expect from the new solar power operational experience, including the valuable energy savings during these trying days of weather and possible power outages.!. Thank you V3 for being an obvious excellently run company top to bottom. Well done!
My experience started with sales person, ***, a super young man. The crew sent to install the equipment was first class as well. Simply been happy/impressed with the quality of V 3 people.
The V3 technicians were on time and did a great job. From the sales to this point everything has been professional..Still waiting for the final walk through and starting my life with V3 solar.
V3 has been great. From the knock on the door to the install, service has been spot on. No complaints!

I was home ay 640 pm Sep 23 and a salesman shows up ringing the door ***. Wears a V3 shirt, very pushy about selling solar. I tell him we get a lot of break-ins/burglaries here is *** and to be careful. It is late to be soliciting and I have a do not solicit sign. I can't believe how many times I have been rudely interrupted by these pushy sales *** in the evening. We have such a high crime rate here this is a horrible practice. Then they won't take no for an answer. This is just wrong in a senior community. *** Stop it.
Excellent service so far in our process. The installers and electrician completed the job in a timely manner . Fabulous at responding quickly to any questions I had and has kept me well informed of the various stages of the project. The set up looks great inside my garage, nice and neat!
The techs were knowlegeable and quick at all steps of installation. They explained what they were doing and why. The setup looks good and fits with my surroundings very nicely.
I did enough research on solar companies in the area to narrow the field significantly to those that had a good reputation, worked with top rated solar technologies and did not seem to be extremely affected by supply chain issues. V3 has multiple programs available from PPA to cash purchase to hybrid programs. Although my sense is that they probably arrange more PPA's they did not try to steer me away from a purchase (which fit our situation better). The proposal process was straightforward, answered all my questions. I expected the permitting and installation process to be longer-term but they were ready for installation in no time. The team installing was very professional, were very communicative about the process and answered some of my more detailed technical questions regarding the installation (I couldn't go up there myself due to a recent injury that had me in a stabalizer boot). All throughout the process they have timely texts and emails to keep me in the loop on progress. We are now moving to inspection and then flip the switch! I can't wait to see the power production of the system (I understand there is an app to monitor everything). When I have more information on the results I will return to add comments.
The V3 *** were very professional and took pride in their work. The communication between myself and their dispatch office was spot on with their schedule and plans for the work project. I highly recommend any prospective customer to give them a call and request their services for any future projects.
I have been trying to purchase a Home that has a Solar System on it
I have been trying to purchase a Home that has a Solar System on it. It was revealed very late in the Transaction that there was a second "HIDDEN" or Undocumented or Unrecorded Lease on part of the Solar System. I have tried working with the Seller and have found out that V3 will not let the Seller Purchase or Buyout the Lease under Section 12-b of the Solar Lease Contract. This has forced me to Cancel the Escrow and has cost me a lot of lost time and effort in trying to purchase this house. Also, I have been unable to contact them through their USELESS phone system where you cannot talk to a Live Person.
Oh my Gosh! Every interaction we've had with V3 from the canvasser to the installer has been amazing! Professional, Courteous, timely and informative. We are so impressed and thankful we chose V3 for our Solar!
they guys came out to install and were respectful of where we had pets buried. they completed the job on time despite stifling heat and humidity. i took them a couple of bottles of apple juice.i was impressed with their professionalism and friendliness.
Great team to install your solar, fast, professional. They added panels to my current setup.LF zerro *** due to electric company!
V3 has been a fantastic company to work with from start to finish. Weve had no regrets. Give them a try!
WARNING - Be sure to ask V3 about True-Up costs before agreeing to use them
WARNING - Be sure to ask V3 about True-Up costs before agreeing to use them. I was told that based on V3's calculations that I would save money each month on power usage. As result, I pay severely more each month with a $3k per year true-up ***. I have asked them for help and they advised me that I need to cut down my 100+ year old trees in order to cut my $3k true-up costs by 25%. Even if I did cut trees down (which I am not), I am still losing money each month with V3. Instead of taking accountability for their mistake in miscalculating my projected energy production, V3 blamed me for using too much power. I got screwed using V3. BE CAREFUL...
I would give this company no stars if that was possible
I would give this company no stars if that was possible. It took this company 5 months to install my solar. My solar had an under production for the first 7 months. When V3 electric finally came out to fix the issue within 2 weeks the system was again under producing. They returned again and replaced all the wiring. Finally, since the issue was not fully resolved the financing company sent their own techs and found that the 10K back up battery is not functioning properly. At 9 months of owning this solar system I have yet to have a fully functioning system. I am not sure how this company stays in business. If you are looking for a solar company I suggest you look elsewhere.

They stood outside my house for about 10 minutes taking notes, then they came up (one representative without a mask during a peak of the pandemic) and wouldn't leave. They tried to get personal information from me (email, contact, name) by saying things like "What was your name again?" when I never told them my name in the first place. When I asked them to leave info because I was working and they interrupted, they just kept going on about the city's utility program (some of it was inaccurate). Even if this is a legitimate company, I would seriously not consider hiring them for anything. Why would I want people who don't wear masks working on my house? And why are they so pushy?

There are plenty of options for who to choose when going solar out here in California
There are plenty of options for who to choose when going solar out here in California... but this company is the one I would suggest to my friends and family. I read reviews and looked into the company beforehand and fortunately I had an honest rep. Unfortunately for others, you might get the ONE guy or gal that's a swindler, but know, that is not this company. I was walked through the entire process and they answered all my questions. I was only surprised at how much was involved during the process and the amount of time it took to get my system turned on. If you're looking for a company to go through for solar, I would pick V3 time and time again. I have had my solar installed for almost two years now and I am a happy consumer.
Sweet talkin young salesman made it sound like everything was refundable and noncommittal to get signed up to go after the Tesla powerwall
Sweet talkin young salesman made it sound like everything was refundable and noncommittal to get signed up to go after the Tesla powerwall rebate for high-risk fire areas. Jump several Hoops for them had a site evaluation and then when the time comes to sign a contract, it is completely different than what the kid says. No refundable deposit after my 3-day right of rescission no mention of when permitting begins no mention of what the timeline is for getting approval and continuing forward. At the price these things are there's no way in heck it makes Financial sense to do it unless you are receiving a rebate. No way to go after this without committing. Very poor practice of leading me on got a good thing I read the fine print in the contract or I would have been on the hook. Do not recommend!
This company has your back
This company has your back. I'll admit, my install was a bit rocky at first. There were a few damaged tiles from all the work on my roof. It was right before rainy season, so you can imagine how anxious I was about getting leaks. After the install was done one of the installers sealed the areas as a temporary fix but they called the main office letting them know. The installers took pictures of the damages to make sure they got the right tiles and their office reached out to a roofer to get things squared away. The office called me and kept me updated on when I can expect things to be fixed. Tiles were replaced very quickly! I am glad they took care of everything because with my schedule there's no way I would have had time to coordinate this. I turned my system on a few months ago and I am already noticing the difference!
I contacted the same rep my daughter used, ****, because she had a great experience with him and V3, and I wasnt disappointed
I contacted the same rep my daughter used, ***, because she had a great experience with him and V3, and I wasnt disappointed. After I supplied the initial info needed for the quote, it came back a little higher than expected. At which time I realized the previous months used to calculate my usage were when I was trying to sell my home of 8 years (more lights, ac etc.) and not an accurate representation of my standard usage. I called the rep and he looked at the statements from the previous 6 mos and he agreed! So, he calculated I needed less panels which brought my quote to a very reasonable amount. I kept the home, and love knowing there will be no surprise bills! And my true up for the year was about what I used to pay (averaged) for 1 month. I also have peace of mind knowing that the system on the roof of my tri-level home will be maintained by them and not me! 15 months later and no complaints!

10/10 Would not recommend
10/10 Would not recommend. *** came to us as new homeowners and sold us on this grand way to escape *** pricing. As a Northern Californian, who doesn't hate *** enough to jump ship? Should have stayed. We were told by our sales rep, *** (who conveniently is no longer with ) that we would have a fixed payment of $154/month, no true-up *** (and if there was one, they would pay for it since their company didn't accurately account for our usage) and if there was a credit, WE would receive it and that they would also apply for government funded solar battery backups. Absolutely none of this is true. After *** of just trying to get service with *** up and running, we were finally successful...then came the billing issues. We have now learned we don't have a fixed monthly payment of $154 as promised, and if there is a true-up at the end of the year WE pay for it. Oh, and the deadline was missed on the battery backups so if we want those, we'd have to finance that on our own. When contacting *** I was essentially told there was nothing they could do for me and to contact *** (the financer) about my billing issues. Even though it was their representative who misinformed us through the whole sign up process. I just spoke with *** and if we want to change our contract to fixed (which it should have been already) its $250 and yeah it won't be $154/month. Please stay away from *** and ***. Neither one of them is going to stick to their word or help you. "
Worst company ever
Worst company ever. They came to us telling us it would cost nothing for power so MY WIFE let them in to give us a cost estimate. Well, it turned out that we can't get free power, and thats OK, but they could install a system that we would own after 25 years. Now to do this they would need to put on a new roof, its an aluminum roof that can't support solar, and yes I new this so that was OK also. Now we had been trying to get solar for some time and most companies did not have the ability to do it but this company seemed to have an answer so we decided to work with them, and so far everyone was great. But then it was time to sign contracts, a man came to our home to make sure all was correct, he was a little harsh but hay all seemed good so far, so he had us sign some papers with him then had us go online with the company and sign the actual contract. After all was done every one seemed good with what was going on and we were told that the work would start in a few weeks. Now lets fast forward 4 days, on the 4th day we received a notice that we had to sign another contract, not sure what was going on, we pulled out the previous contract and saw that the dollar amount was the price they quoted us at first, 170 per month for just solar, it was supposed to be 280 since they had to replace the roof. So we pulled up the new document, having no idea at the time what it was, and saw that the new price was around 360, not the agreed price of 280. We called the company to see what was going on only to be told that the old contract was wrong and we had to sign the new one, and that we really had no choice. We refused because it was not the price we agreed of 280 and its been a fight ever since. We have told them, several times, that the price is not what we agreed on of 280 and that the old contract has never been cancelled, it had to be done in 3 days with a letter per our lawyer, and that we were unwilling to sign the current contract that had the wrong price and not until we had documents stating that the previous contract was cancelled. The person they have assigned to our account is a real gem, used car lot type of personality, keeps threatening my wife and has told us that if we step away from the contract we will have to pay them over $1800.00. We were also told that a PGE pipe issue with our electric needed to be fix and since PGE was not responding to their request that they would cover the cost of the repair, but now they are asking for an additional $2000 for the repair. And the rep on the other side is just rude and threatening. Im starting to think this is their scam just saying. Promise free then bring down the hammer. This has turned into a total nightmare of an experience for my family especially my wife. They came is so positive, and now its just a freaking huge mistake. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH, HEARTLESS, I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE NOT DO BUSINESS WTIH THEM. And now Im going to have to pay legal fees to correct the issue all because my wife let them into our home, errrrrrrrrrr.

I will review the areas of each. Sales associate I would rate as excellent. They arrived on time for the meeting, called ahead, and ensured everything was prepared. The signing of the contract was somewhat challenging because they would call unexpectedly, requiring different information when I wasn't available to provide it. The review of the contract also took about an hour, but overall, I would rate the experience highly. Communication through approval, design, and installation was top-notch.
They did a great job and the final result looks wonderful. For those departments, I would have given top marks! However, then came the problematic part of the experience. I was informed that my solar project had received county approval, only to discover later that it hadn't. They requested that I complete paperwork, which I did. After waiting two weeks without any update, I reached out to them, only to be told they had submitted documents for the electric company connection, which also turned out to be untrue. They continued to provide false information until I confronted them with evidence. Eventually, they connected me with a manager, and the situation improved slightly. The connection paperwork was finally submitted and approved.
Initially, I mentioned to them that during certain hours, I experienced no connectivity. They dismissed it as normal due to the system not being connected and promised to send technicians to investigate. They reported that the issue was resolved after their visit. However, after the system was officially connected, I found that nothing had changed. When I contacted them again, they suggested it was my responsibility to ensure the system was operational. Only after further discussion did they agree to restart my system.
If you don't mind making frequent calls, speaking with various customer service representatives, sending texts, and waiting for callbacks, then this company might be suitable for you. The process was far from smooth, and I would not recommend their services.
V3 was chosen by our solar company for the installation of the battery. I don't think a better choice could have been made. Very professional and left the house very clean. Answered all my questions in a way I understood.
V3 installation was flawless and very professional. I would recommend to anyone.
Installation was awesome. System still needs to pass inspection by edison so cant wait til its finally on
