Entergy Arkansas Entergy Arkansas

I had solar panels installed almost 4 months ago and Entergy has yet to perform their test to give me my permission to operate. They won’t answer my feedback or respond to my solar installation company. You can’t talk to a real person and customer service is worthless. I have a supposed case number that someone is working on but no one in customer service can tell if anyone is doing anything. This is ridiculous! Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Zero communication on what I believe is a pretty easy fix. This company sucks!

Recommendation: Don’t use them, they’re unreliable and will ignore you completely.

Entergy Arkansas There can be no rain, no storm, just a little wind and you will have an outage

There can be no rain, no storm, just a little wind and you will have an outage. I have lived all over Arkansas and have only experienced multiple outages with entergy. I don't know what the other companies are doing but someone should give entergy some tips because if you breathe wrong in your own house, there will be an outage and it will take them hours to figure out what caused it.

I've been with them for a over a year, they were supposed to give me back my 220+$ security deposit and have been tiptoeing around the issue for months now.

I have been a customer with Entergy for almost 4 years and I have never had a issue until now. When I transferred my services to my new residence in August somehow I started receiving double bills with different amount due on the same date. I started receiving my bills 2 months in advance and then to top it off I received a bill that increased $300 than normal. My bills have ALWAYS ranged from $80-$120 now I have a bill That is $450+. Called and spoke with Entergy supervisor Jennifer who was rude and non understanding about my bill. She did not want to provide me with any information pertaining to herself to file this complaint. She did not want to send someone to my home to check my meter, I basically was left to do everything myself. While still being held responsible for the high bill. This is by far the worst experience I have had with Entergy and I am very much *** about it.

Entergy Arkansas I would give 0 stars if I could

I would give 0 stars if I could. I've heard so many bad things about Entergy and now I see why nobody likes to use them but in my situation I don't have a choice. Nobody has called to verify our account to get our lights on at our new house. It's been 5 days and no call. I done called Entergy and was told we would have to wait. They can't help us. Entergy is such a *** electric company. I would use Woodruff Electric Company if I could!

They are the worst utility I have ever worked with. They are monopoly so they do not care. Spent 3 days to simply have access to my account online to change account information .and no success yet. No one is available . They do not even have an online help line . So it is impossible to make any changes . It takes forever to reach someone on the phone just to learn that they can not do anything about it . Beyond belief. They do not even deserve one star. I am going crazy here to find someone who can help me on this . As a consumer you feel vulnerable and helpless .

Worse electric company there is! They price gouge their prices in Harrison AR. Electric bill went from $70 to $355 once they put new meter in with me not running anything extra and I live in a very small house. Called customer service they hung up on me multiple times or acted like they couldn't hear me. Finally got ahold of someone who I thought helped me had her to put me on a payment plan for my high bill and she took out my WHOLE bill amount without my knowledge days before it was due.

I recently was credited a 680.00 for prompt payment refund. The credit hit my account on 6/11, I was set up for auto draft on 6/15. 4 days was not enough time for Entergy to stop my auto draft from processing. I learned of the credit on 6/15, hoping that this would not turn into a whole ordeal, I called on the 15th to have the auto draft stopped or returned and for the credit to be used. The lady said it was in a pending state and there was nothing she could do about it. She advised me to call the next day. So I call on the 16th another lady tells me I now need to wait 21 days to request a refund since the payment had already processed on the 15th. 7/6 would have been 21 days... I call today 7/7 now I am being told that there will be another 10 day wait in order for Entergy to cut a check to me... I am a programmer and I know for a fact I can write code to enable entergy to service their customers much faster than 21 days... What decade are we in where ANYTHING takes 21 days to get processed? This is POOR customer support. If there was any other Entergy company available to me I would switch... such is life...

By far the worst utility I have ever dealt with. Customer Service is awful, worker are rude, and service is terrible. I have spent thousands repairing irrigation wells & appliances due to low voltage. This company doesn't give a *** about their customers, just want that payment. If you have another option in your area, take it! I promise it's not as bad as using these clowns!

This has to be the worst electric provider in the county! Very poor customer service and quality. I sold the house I was living in and they continued to bill me for 3 months. The new owners were also paying a bill for this property. I have been calling and disputing these charges for 3 months. They either do not answer or hang up on me. I have refused to pay the bill. If this is impacting my credit at all i will take legal action. I am currently list my new house for sale in order to move out of entergy service area! if there were a negative star button i would use it.

I'm giving them a 1 out of 5...we are building and getting ready to move to Arkansas. My wife called the company to try and set up some electrical service with this company because this was the only company for that area. The person she talked to was rude, obnoxious and disrespectful during the entire phone conversation and in the end did not help with our electric needs for our property. Looking at overall customer reviews and rating I have to say I don't understand how they have an A+ rating...they should be closed down...or at least let some competition to work in that area.

Absolutely horrible customer service would never recommend ever using their service. You'll be waiting on the phone for at least an hour and you'll have to call at least 35 times to be able to talk to someone without your call dropping. Everyone working there has no knowledge behind the system and no one seems to know what is going on ever

Entergy Arkansas Just said excuse for a company

Just said excuse for a company. I have not received a light bill in months..On levelized billing but my bill jumped to $500 all of a sudden back to back with no explanation..Been having to call them just to find out how much the bill is and when it's due and I guess since most of them work from home now they feel like they can be rude and have smart mouths and lie to you and give you incorrect information. You can talk to different representatives in a day and they all say something different. I assume they just taking a guess on how much the light bills should be because all my neighbors are in the same situation.

Entergy Arkansas Worst Electric company!

Worst Electric company! With the worst customer service. I spent three days trying to contact and talk to someone about a billing issue. I would spend 1-2 hours on hold. Once I got an answer it would be silent & next thing I was directed to the "customer satisfaction survey" I wish I had the luxury to saying "I'll just take my business elsewhere" but it's the only mediocre utility company in my area & I'm forced to continue to use this company. I also requested to speak someone in Spanish & an agent answered in English.. how are non English customers are supposed to contact & speak about their issues if there's a language barrier.

Entergy Arkansas They turned my electric off at 9pm, we called them because our bill was paid

They turned my electric off at 9pm, we called them because our bill was paid. They told us you have to call after paying a bill or they will shut off service. I've NEVER had to call after paying a bill. I asked if they could turn it back on and was told "we can't turn it on because that department closes at 5." We called the next morning and they said it would be back on before 5 that day..i was at work got home at 6 and it was still off. Called up there and this idiot says "why didn't you call before 5, they're closed now." well I thought it would be turned on and can't leave work to come flip my light switch. Then told me again she couldn't turn it on. So you can't turn it on but you can turn it off? It took THREE days for them to turn it back on after talking to 3 supervisors. They turned it back on at 4am.

Entergy Arkansas Absolutely awful services in all departments

Absolutely awful services in all departments. There is nothing nice or decent to say about this company. One person does something, talk to them again and that person says that they "do not even do that here" and "I'm sorry for your frustrations". They cannot provide the last call logs for what reason? Has happened multiple times and it's just sad that this business is this disgusting and horribly MANAGED. The CEO should be ashamed of the constant scams that are allowed. The poor call center gets hammered because of the "BIG GUY" in charge. Something has got to be done before they allow people to die in their care (seeing that electricity IS a necessity and a health form). Paying more for electricity than you do for a mortgage is unheard of and they wonder why people cant afford to pay their bills and means of living, wonder why people are on the streets, wonder why people need so much assistance from the government, the list goes on and it is because of companies like this one. Look up the definition of humanity. All in all, ENTERGY IS THE WORST.

Entergy Arkansas Bought a new manufactured home

Bought a new manufactured home. Had it put into place all the paperwork was finished on a Thursday they claim that if I did everything I was supposed to do that prior Monday and everything was completed on Thursday energy would be restored to the property on a Friday. Then it was going to be Monday then it was going to be Tuesday eventually ended up being Thursday where they didn't come after being on hold for hours on end they told me for sure Friday. A week later nevertheless. So that Friday comes they did not show up call and was on hold for a couple hours again then talk to two supervisors which pretty much told me it was up to them when they decided to turn it on I was short staffed and hopefully it would be Monday. I explain to them how I've been living out of my car because I had nowhere else to go and they apologize again and said sometimes it happens that way very rude. I'm just a tax paying citizen that bought a home that is deserving of power. I've had accounts with them in the past always pay my bill. But now they are just putting me off and leaving me in the dark.

Entergy Arkansas Bad business to deal with

Bad business to deal with. I always pay my bill on or before the due date. Tried to pay my bill in July but the online energy account would not work so I called customer service. They said I could pay by phone but a $2.95 fee would be added but that it would be credited back to me on my next bill. I did not receive a credit on my next bill so I called customer service and they confirmed that I had indeed talked to them in July and a note had been added to my account about receiving credit on my next bill. They referred me to Bill Matrix and said they would take care of the refund that is owed to me. Bill Matrix said they could do nothing about it and referred me back to Entergy. After waiting a very long time on hold, Entergy said that the note that had been added to my account said that I had 'requested' a credit, but they would not honor my request. Makes me wonder how many more people have had a similar problem because of Entergy's website malfunction. Entergy very rudely said that if I subtracted the fee from my next bill, that a late charge would then be added to my account. I would not hesitate to change to another electric company if one was available, but unfortunately there is not one. Shame on Entergy for their very poor stance toward their loyal paying customers who keeps them in business and provides for all their retirement funds and pensions and above average pay checks. I encourage any one considering moving to an area serviced by Entergy to seriously think twice about it.

Entergy Arkansas June 15 - I arrived home from work around 6:30PM to no electricity

June 15 - I arrived home from work around 6:30PM to no electricity. I checked for outages online (using mobile data) and saw that outages were near me that would be corrected by 8:00PM. I called at 9:30PM because I still had no service. I was told that there was not an outage issue and that I would need to all their customer service number in the morning. I tried to look at my account online, but the website was down while they transitioned to a new system. June 16 - I called as soon as they opened at 7AM and was told my service was turned off BY MISTAKE when my neighbors moved in ( I was "pushed out".) I had no notice that my electricity was to be turned off and it wasn't meant for my electricity to be turned off. The representative told me that service would be restored before the end of the day. Since they closed at 7PM, I called at 6:15PM (on my way home) to verify service was restored. It wasn't. The first person I spoke to informed me that they would not credit me for a hotel stay, even though this was their mistake. I explained that I expected a credit for my hotel stay. Also, the representative told me it could not be restored until the next day. I kept asking for supervisors and refusing to hang up until someone helped me get service, as I needed electricity to complete work for my second job. I also had to present to a statewide group and needed electricity to get ready the next morning. I asked this representative for his name and a direct line so I could talk to him if service wasn't connected. He would not provide anything. Before I hung up, the representative told me someone could "flip a switch" and my service would be restored in the next hour to hour and a half. It wasn't. After waiting 3.5 hours, I checked into a hotel so I could do my work and be ready for the next day. Temperatures were also high and I would not have been able too sleep. Keep in mind, this is during COVID and I was not looking to stay anywhere but my home. I put some ice in my refrigerator, since I didn't have many other options, and my freezer food still seemed to be okay. June 17 - I called at 7AM and spoke to another representative, who told me that the service request had been placed and she could provide no additional information. I asked for a physical location where I could go and follow up to ensure my service would be restored. She would not provide that information. I called again between 3PM - 3:15PM and finally spoke to enough supervisors to get a helpful person. At that time, my service still had not been connected, nor did they have any idea who would be responsible for ensuring my service would be restored. They asked for information that I would have needed to be home to provide, but I was 40 minutes away at work. My landlord went out of his way to check. I asked why they didn't have someone they could contact, themselves, to verify the service had been restored. They claimed not to have any way to know who would do this work until that person submitted that the work was complete! When my landlord went to check the tag on my electricity box, he let me know my electricity was back on. Based on my blinking clocks, it was restored after I called that afternoon. The supervisor I spoke to this last time told me that I would have to discuss credits to my account with billing once my bill came in. Also, they had to give me a new account since they cancelled my old one. July 15 - I received my first contact since the ordeal and it was a LATE notice! I never received a FIRST bill! I tried to reply to this email stating: "... after you apply a credit for my hotel stay and groceries, I will be happy to pay the balance on this account. Please ensure I was also credited for the two days of service that was stolen from me (not just the lack of electricity used, but also loss of ACCESS to electricity for 1/15 of the month." , but the email came back - no reply email. This was 100% their fault. I was lied to repeatedly about when service would be restored, so I was not aware that I would need to protect my groceries more than keeping the door closed. My service was not restored for TWO DAYS! My groceries spoiled and I had to stay in a hotel to do my work, which required electricity to complete. The only option to contact them is by phone and when they lie, the customer is completely at their mercy (or lack thereof). This monopoly should be put out of business. I was told they used to be a good service, but have really gone downhill in this area in the past year. Maybe that is why they have an A+ Complaintsboard.com rating (but also a 1 Star customer rating).

As manager of my father's house rental business, I am the one responsible for overseeing payment of utilities and other related expenses for vacant homes. I was shocked to see a usage charge of over $450 in July 2023, on a house that usually has usage around $20. Upon studying the bill more closely, I realized that the charge from another rental house, that...

My bill is the same as it was when Air conditioner was functioning. Entergy Arkansas estimated usage incorrect

Our house burned to the ground on July 5 (the meter was destroyed as well). Entergy came out and shut off the power at the pole on that day. We thought that terminated our service until we received a bill a month later with estimated usage as if there had been power to the site, but they couldn't get to the meter to read it. I called to get this fixed and was told there was nothing I could do except pay it. They shut off our service as of a few days after that call. We just received our final bill and MORE usage has been estimated. This is so unreasonable, but the Customer Service Rep said basically "too bad." I asked for her supervisor, but she said she had already asked the supervisor and got the same answer and would not connect me. We are beyond frustrated as we are being charged over $300 for service to a pile of ash with no electricity coming from the pole.

Desired outcome: We would like to have the Estimated Usage changed to -0- and our bill re-figured.

Entergy Arkansas Neighbors fence

We have a neighbor who is building a fence in the area that I believe is where our utilities are located. We would like someone to come out and check to see if this is ok or not.

Fencing is behind 8050 Severn Landing in Alexander, AR

All the neighbors want to make sure this isn’t against policy and to ensure that in the case of emergency services can be taken care of immediately.

Desired outcome: Fence to be removed so that servicemen are able to get in the area whenever needed.

Entergy Arkansas My lights

Hello I had a outage in my area that involved 6 other houses around me on July 1st 2023 at 11 am today and kept being told two hours my lights would be back on every two I was told this and here where I live we have been in and excessive heat warning and I have children and pets and a wife that had to sit in the heat all day long and it is currently 9:27pm and my lights are still not on and it is aggravating to know that our little area is the only area in our town that doesn’t have lights and I need to know why like for real it’s ridiculous! And I don’t think we are getting lights on anytime tonight either! Disappointed Energy Customer!

Desired outcome: Y’all need to do better and figure out the grids for the different area and they need to be better!! More timely for sure!!

Entergy Arkansas Entergy-arkansas energy service provider

this is the second month in a row they've disconnected my power dispite it having been paid, asvwell as me having been on level billing for at least since November im fairly certain that its been set up for ovwr a year, as well and yet have mot charged the correct amount once. Everytime i call to resolve this issue i am met with nonsense about having an outstanding balance that never gets paid, dispite that they forced me to lay the entire balance when it was back paymentdisconnected last month, and refused to tuen ot on til i paid this months bill as well. and would not let me speak to a person about making a payment arrangement 9n the part that was jot due until this month, also my billing date is not until the 18th, i believe was xhanged to the 24th they cut it on the 5th. and will not turn it back on duspite my oayment already being paid, the die date not being til the end of the month, and the temperature beong nearly 100% which in Arkansas its not legal during the extreme cold or hit months ti cut powe. now my food has spoiled, my clothes are ruined due to being cut mid cycle and mold now growing on them.I have tried resolving this but just recieved the same person xlaiming they are only showing pauments that were in my hacked email and aren't correct. via bank statements as proof. i intend to sue if this is not immediately resolved. im on disability and can not afford this extortion. nor can i replace my groceries at the price they charge that ive now had to throw away and go hungry.

Desired outcome: i want my lights turned back on. i want my food replaced. i want my clothes replaced. And my account credited for all the over payment I've been extorted out of.

Entergy Arkansas Electric

I called Entergy on 03/25/2023 at 230 pm to report and emergency outage. My lights were blinking flickering and popping. I was told an emergency report would be made and someone would be out to check. I had to call entergy over 10 times and I have proof of all calls. No one came until today 03/26/2023 about 2:00pm. An emergency report was not made u til 7:56 am today and not yesterday. The ground wire to the meter went out and they had to leave a box outside to the meter to keep the lights on. My refrigerator is damaged, my son’s PlayStation 5 is damaged, a LED light and mirror costing about $1000 in my bathroom is ruined and will not come on. I have to throw away about $1000 worth of food between the refrigerator and deep freezer due to my lights being off for 24 hours and the report wasn’t put in correctly. This has absolutely ruined my weekend and damaged items in my home. This has been very frustrating to repeatedly have to call Entergy and have my things ruined due to people not doing their job. And having people lie to you about doing things that they haven’t done. My house could have caught on fire. Safety precautions was not given to me until today. Something should be done about my ruined items and about people not doing their jobs correctly and causing peoples’ homes and items to be damaged. The meter has caused all of these unnecessary problems in my home and it took 24 hours for anyone to come out in such a serious matter.

Desired outcome: I would like ALL my items replaced. I can’t afford to and my bills from the last months reevaluated due to them being $400 and having a malfunctioning meter.

Entergy Arkansas Cables left sticking up in yards and yards torn up after Entergy Ar repairing a secondary electrical line

How in the world do you contact Entergy Ar to come back and bury cables sticking up in common area yards in an HOA and destroying the lawns? Erosion in said areas that are washing away due to subcontractors and making it a terrible mess. Who repairs said grounds with topsoil and sod. Who smooths out and repairs said areas back to the way they were before they started this mess. Boring underground and absolutely messing up and destroying areas.

Desired outcome: Someone to contact president of HOA with plans to fix and repair

Entergy Arkansas Entergy canceled my utility service without my consent, made me open a new account, and then charged me an additional $220 deposit

Entergy canceled my utility service without my consent, made me open a new account, and then charged me an additional $220 deposit. At the end of August , I woke up to my electric being out. I immediately called Entergy and reported an outage, to which I was given no indication of a canceled service. I called back later in the day, as my service was still out, to try to get to the bottom of it. I was told my account was canceled, someone had called to open service at my address, and I was never given any kind of warning to let them know I wasn't moving and nobody else should be opening service at my place of residence. I was ensured by Entergy that my service would be switched to my account, which was already on a bank draft, and my bill would be paid off of my initial deposit. I then attempted to contact Entergy in November twice through their online contact system and never received any kind of response or follow up. I called in December and let them know that I didn't have access to my account, which I was told was switched over into my name in August. It was finally set up and then I was charged with another $220. I was put through 6-7 different employees, supervisors, and managers at Entergy. I was told each time that customers should receive a robocall letting the individual know their service was going to be canceled if they didn't respond. I never got a call or a voicemail and my voicemail is functioning. The workers at Entergy told me that it is up to collections on whether or not I have to pay the deposit of the account, which I never canceled, they didn't transfer, and I was not communicated with.

Entergy sent me a bill due in July for $2,944. Our current charges only show $11.92, and we're not behind on our bill. There was no explanation on the bill for what the additional $2,932 was for, so we contacted Entergy. When my husband called customer service to inquire on 7/7/2022, they said our meter was reading incorrectly since October , and when they changed it to the advanced meter that's what we owe. It showed a usage of over 13,000 kwh. My husband proceeded to show them the bills we paid from [protected], and our kwh averages 700 because we are only in the condo part-time. Our usage is nowhere near where they say it is. The representative agreed with my husband after reviewing our previous usage, but said there was nothing he could do to change the bill, so he transferred us to his supervisor, who was of no help either. We were only in the condo one week in June (I can easily provide documents to prove this if needed), and it's a 1300 sf condo - there is no possible way this billing is correct, and does not reflect our average usage over the past 2 years prior to when they said the meter was not functioning correctly. Obviously something is wrong with the advanced meter system - I don't know if it's reading all of the condos since we're attached, or if something else is happening, but it's not even possible for a condo our size to utilize that much kwh in a month. I am seeking a billing adjustment to reflect our actual usage.

Entergy Arkansas After a downed power line was "repaired" by the company, my garage door opener and light no longer work

After a downed power line was "repaired" by the company, my garage door opener and light no longer work. Power board blown. November 11th, I brought my first home. I had all the inspections completed so I knew everything in the home was working and good to go. After living in my new home for only a week, someone hit a power pole which caused a wire to disconnect from my house. I contacted the power company (Entergy) to have them come out to fix the power. They did some repairs, then left. However, I continued to have power issues, so I contacted them a second time and they came back out. The second time out, they were able to get everything expect the back part of my house working. The worker who came out the third time was very nice, but could not figure out why everything expect the garage was working. He explained to me that he thought it had to be the main mother board in the garage door opener. He said it must of blown. He said there was nothing more he could do, and I would need to contact the main office. The next business day, I contacted them and filed a complaint. For some reason my complaint was denied, but no one ever contacted me to tell me. I didn't receive a call or letter stating why. It wasn't until I contacted them to find out the status of the claim in December, so that I could have the repairs done. Once I was told the claim was denied, I submitted another claim. They told me it could take a couple of weeks. With the holidays the next week I was understanding. Here we are February 22 and I still haven't heard from them. I contacted them and spoke to a supervisor. I was told my claim was still open, but that they couldn't give me any information and they would request for someone to call me back.

I have reached out to this company at least seven times in the last ten months using various methods such as phone, letter, and through credit bureaus, in an effort to clear a debt that has been inaccurately reported on my credit report. Unfortunately, I do not possess the specific address the company requires to access the account, despite having provided every address at which I resided in Arkansas, along with my social security number. The company's representatives have consistently declined to connect me with higher-level supervisors who might have the authority to accept a payment and remove the account from collections. Furthermore, following my reports to the credit bureaus, I have received two letters instructing me to contact the business using a phone number that is non-operational, which my credit representative has also confirmed to be unreachable. When I called the correct phone number and attempted to use the account number provided in the correspondence from the energy company, the representatives I spoke with insisted that the account number was incorrect or did not exist. Both my credit restoration representative and I have tried every available method to contact the company, but to no avail, as we have not been successful in finding someone capable of assisting us. I have attempted to settle this debt to have it removed from my credit report, but my efforts have been met with refusal. It is imperative that this credit entry be removed immediately if the company continues to be unwilling to accept payment, as it is having a detrimental impact on my credit reports.

Entergy Arkansas I have a $36.33 refund due out of a $220 refund I paid when I opened an account with Entergy

I have a $36.33 refund due out of a $220 refund I paid when I opened an account with Entergy. I placed a stop service order on the account for January 31, 2022. The customer rep I spoke with entered my new mailing address and told me it would take six weeks after the stop service date to receive a refund check (around mid-March 2022). I received an email confirming they had my new mailing address on record. On March 31, 2022, I had not received the refund, so I called. I was told they mailed the refund to my old address. Since the check had not been cashed or returned to Entergy, I was placed on hold while the customer rep got permission from her superior to place a stop payment on the check. She confirmed my new address, and once again, I received an email confirming the new mailing address.May 2nd, 2022, I still had not received the refund check. The first customer rep I reached placed me on eternal hold. The second customer rep told me all she was showing was the check mailed on March 4th (the one on which the stop payment was supposedly ordered), but nothing further. She said a re-issue normally only takes three weeks. I told her I would wait a little longer and call back in two weeks.Today is May 18, 2022, and my refund check is now more than three months overdue. The customer rep I spoke with repeated what I was told the last time, but she added it was open because they were probably investigating it, which make no sense whatsoever. She was stammering with her words and got flustered. I don't think she really knows what is going on with my account. I now believe I am being given the royal runaround, and I am being stalled off for whatever reason. Any and all help you may provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was quoted misleading prices by a customer service representative for level billing and when I received my bill it was much higher and has continued to be since I switched even though I was promised it would be less. When I called the company and complained the supervisor promised me a credit and I do have her name which I never received. When I called about two months later I was told it was delayed by covid due to less staff but I would receive the credit. Here we are almost a year later and I still have not received the credit. I did discontinue the level billing after some time after they kept promising that each bill would show lesser amounts due and it never did in fact my electric bill actually increased.

I moved from *** on Feb. 14th, 2022. I gave Entergy my current address. They owed me approximately $85.00 from a $250.00 deposit. To date, after calling several times, I have not received my payment. I was contacted by a collection agency for approximately $42.00. They have told me three times a check has been sent. I'm tired of messing with these people. They either need to send me the $4?.00 balance or the $85.00 so I can pay the balance immediately. They never sent me a final bill, notice, or anything that I owed them money. They need to take it off my credit report as well. Immediately. Sincerely

A storm caused tree limbs to endanger my power lines. Entergy came out and cleared the limbs but left the branches on the ground causing me problems getting around my house. I asked Entergy to come out but they ignored me. If I pay to have the limbs removed I want reimbursement.

West tree service, contracted by Entergy, dear Complaintsboard.com I am 62 years old and don't have the energy to clean up the mess in my driveway the trimmers left behind at my walkway during a hot day. I was told by the initial trimmers that there will be a cleanup crew following them. That was a week and a half ago. I am not looking for any money whatsoever, just for them to leave it somewhat like they found it. Most everything they cut was tossed back into the area they just trimmed. I have to drive around that mess just to get out of my driveway, my brother across the street got a job... meanwhile, I'm left with a mess on my hands.

Since August we have been trying to get Entergy Arkansas to relocate our existing electrical service to enter our home from a different location on our property. We are remodeling this house and the existing electric line is running across the top of a new garage we are building and a section of the house that we need to construct a new roof on. There has been an engineer from Entergy out x 2 to the property and her boss also came out. But we hear absolutely no answers from them. Initially we were told they just needed 3 days notice and yes this was a service they would do. And yet here we are almost to December and nothing. It is costing us a great deal of money not being able to complete our construction project. We have roofers coming out but they cannot complete the job because the roof isn't constructed because of the electrical line. We have an electrician just waiting to rewire the house...can't be done because we don't have the new circuit breaker box location. We cannot finish the garage which we need dried in for materials storage. We cannot complete sheathing, siding, plumbing, absolutely nothing until the electrical service is moved. We have tried on multiple occasions to get resolution with the company but unsuccessfully. You have extensive waiting periods to even be able to talk with a person, then I cannot tell you the numbers of times that I have been either hung up on or disconnected or sent to their "satisfaction survey". We are left with the option of having our service disconnected (they will do that for us) and purchasing generators to run from or dangerously working around live wires. I have no idea what we do at this point. I have never dealt with a company with such horrible customer service in my life!

Overpaid Entergy and was informed that I would receive the money back into my bank account. After speaking with a number customer service representative from Entergy. It appears that I will just have credit on my account. Let me not pay my bill or reach out to Entergy for assistance my service would be disconnected. Entergy/Bill Matrix are one in the same company and if you over pay your bill, you are screwed and forced to have a credit on your account.

I moved from Pine Forest on December 15, and have yet to receive my refund of $91.75 for my account. It's been nearly four months, and I would think it shouldn't take this long to receive a refund. Can someone please assist me in resolving this matter to avoid the need for involving Channel 7 for assistance?

On November 18th, I paid off my entire payment arrangement. On that same day, I called to notify Entergy that I had fulfilled the terms of my payment agreement. On April 21st, 2022, I attempted to set up a new payment agreement for my current bill but was denied. The denial was due to their oversight in failing to cancel the previous agreement that had already been satisfied.

I have multiple accounts with Entergy for my business, C & K Properties, on 4/29/22 I called requesting a credit balance on one account be transferred and applied to the balance due on another account. The amount I was requesting to be transferred was $165.48. I was told that day by a customer service rep that the transfer request had been submitted and should transfer. After a week I noticed the transfer had not occurred and so I called again, I spoke to a different customer service rep that said the initial transfer request was keyed in incorrectly and that was why it hadn't happened yet but that he had fixed it and that it would be transferred so I went online and paid the difference in what I owed on the account leaving the balance due $165.48 which would be paid when the transfer from the other account processed. I checked a few days later and the amount still had not been transferred so I called a third time and this time I was told the transfer could not happen because one account was classed as a residential and the other account a commercial. I went online and made the additional payment of $165.48 then. Then I received a new bill in the mail showing I was being charged a late fee and another deposit ($229.75). I called and explained that the only reason my bill was late is because I was given incorrect information by 2 of their customer service reps about the transfer - they did finally refund my late fee after I called a 2nd time but they are not refunding the additional deposit even though it was their fault that my bill was paid late. This is just one example of the issues I have had with this company repeatedly on this account and others over the past 2 years and they don't care because they know you have no choice but to use them for electricity since there is no other option available.

Entergy Arkansas Called and requested new service

Called and requested new service. Was assured 2 different days that I would have service activated. Now it is day 4 of no power. I have a 3 month old I called December 22nd to schedule a new service for electricity for my new trailer. I was given an appointment for the following Tuesday which was December 29th. On that day I called at 15 mins to 5 asking about the engineer because they still had not shown up. Was told then that a supervisor could not be reached and that they had until 9 PM to complete the work order. On Wednesday at 5 pm right after I got off work I called again because I still had no power. I was told that since they had miss the appointment on Tuesday that I needed to make another appointment time and that the department I needed to speak with closed at 5 so i would need to call back the next day. So again on Wednesday morning at 8:20 am I called again and spoke to a rep. That assured me a service agent would be at my address that day to turn my electricity on. Once again after I got off work I went to the house and again there was no power. So I called again the lady this time told me according to the work order there was a meter and that the service was active... I was standing in front of an empty power loop pole with no meter and no lines run to my pole. So when I informed her of this I was told I would have to wait until the following monday to call back because the department I needed to speak with was closed. I have had to reschedule other contractors because they have to have electricity to be able to do what they need to do as well as I have had to pay another months rent all because Entergy hasn't shown up for the appointment times that they have set. Because I can't stay somewhere right now with power because it is 35 degrees outside and I have a 3 month old as well as a 12 yr old and a 14 yr old

Entergy Arkansas The bill goes incredibly high and highest in March, although we were taking serious energy-saving measures

The bill goes incredibly high and highest in March, although we were taking serious energy-saving measures. We contracted with Entergy since Dec 2020 and our bills goes like XXX-XXX dollars in Jan and Feb. Cooking with electricity, we used to pay $40-50 dollars for electricity per month before we moved in Little Rock. Even in the hot summer we had our AC keep running, we never had the bill over $90 per month. I understand there might be some differences in rates between cities or companies, but so much increase is too much, since we do not use the electricity in a dramatically changed way. In March, our family took all necessary actions to save electricity, hoping that will bring down the bill. As the weather was getting warmer, our AC was shut off. We only used power for cooking 3 meals per day and lightening. We do not even have many electricity devices like game computer, audio, TV, etc. However, the bill we just got, showing the bill for Mark soared to $160, despite all our measure to save power! My family's life style, especially in March, dose not match the keep-soaring bills at all. That makes me start to double the bills. I do not believe this bill authentically reflected our usage in any way. It is just NOT logical. The disappointing thing is, I called the number to argue this bill. The rep told me she can do nothing to help, but someone will reach back to me within 48 hours. It has been one week and no one from company contacted me. please this was not first time this company promised to contact me but never did that. I thus request an investigation into our usage of the past three months. Please show the usage detail in each month and rate, that way I can see how much we did used. I will pay what I used without any word. Nobody should not pay bills just showing the soaring charges without any usage details. Thanks

Entergy Arkansas I have been paying for security light services for 4 months and no one has come to fix it

I have been paying for security light services for 4 months and no one has come to fix it. I lost power Aug. 27, 2020 when Hurricane Laura came through. Once power was restored, my security light wasn't working. I hesitated to call due to the extensive damage in Louisiana and other states. Once I did report it, weeks later, I was given the date Oct. 14 as a repair date. This day came and went. Between the original report date and today, Dec. 23, 2020, I have called numerous more times and have been given more dates (Nov. 20, Nov. 27, Dec. 2, and Dec. 22) when someone would come out and fix the light, but no one has shown up to this day. I have been given the run around and lied to by several people when I call 1-800-ENTERGY: I was told that the reason no one came in Oct. was because they couldn't find my address (which is absurd; I have lived here for 20+ years and the address has not changed; it is on one acre right by the road, no fences/gates, and the light is right beside my driveway...but I'm sure if I stopped paying my bill, they could find my address to shut the power off!); that they were still backed up in Louisiana for hurricane damage (4 months later?!); that someone would call me back (and yet, another agent told me that they DON'T call customers...); I was "ASSURED" that someone would be out either that day or the next on two of my calls (no one has shown up yet...); and that I would be issued a credit (which I believe is another lie; if getting someone out to check on a simple night light has been this much hassle, I doubt I will ever see a credit on my account...at this point, I have paid $25+ for a service that I have not received, and I will personally deduct this from my next payment). "Supposedly" 2-3 complaints have been filed on my behalf by Entergy agents, but apparently, complaints within their own department are completely useless.

Entergy Arkansas Around September 3 - 4, 2021 Entergy workers cut limbs from trees in my back yard, which fail on the powerlines

Around September 3 - 4, 2021 Entergy workers cut limbs from trees in my back yard, which fail on the powerlines. In disbelief we watched the Entergy workers cut the lines as the one female rep looked back at my house when a limb hit the powerlines and sparks came from my breaker box. After the 3 time the female Entergy came to the front door and ask if she could turn off the breaker box. I had no idea what damage this actually caused to HVAC. Around Sept. 5, 2021, I called a HVAC company to look at my 2 A/C units that had gone out. When the HVAC guy came out to service the units he said both units were burnt out. At, the time he mentioned it was weird that both units went out at the same time, considering I had replaced one of the units in June . My remedy at the time was to buy 2 pre owned units, which did not hold up very well, but I had no choice because the heat temps were so bad. Near completion of the units being installed. I informed the HVAC rep I had seen some sparks from light switches in the house, every since the Entergy workers cut the limbs that fail on my power lines. The HVAC rep, reminded me he thought it was weird both units went out at the same time. He told me to contact Entergy because they limbs hitting my powerlines is the reason my HVAC unit were brunt out. Around Sept. 8 - 10, 2021 I called Entergy and made a claim for reimbursement. After calling back several times I spoke with a *** at (XXX-XXX-XXXX) who told me Mr. is assigned to my claim. Since Oct 12, 2021 I have not been able to get Ms. or Mr. on the phone. I have been calling twice a week, I have either been put on hold for 45min - 2 hours or my call are disconnected. I would like 2 new A/C units (condensers) and a professional electrician to check my home for any electrical issues. I would like for Entergy to pay me $9,500 for the equipment and service or they can buy the equipment and have it installed by a HVAC company of their choice.

Entergy Arkansas Power was remotely disconnected due to a fault of Entergy

Power was remotely disconnected due to a fault of Entergy. They are now refusing to reconnect for a week. Our home had a tenant living in it which we were evicting. When the tenant was court ordered to move, we called Entergy on 6/30 to set it up so that the power would not be disconnected, but rolled back into our names instead. We have an alarm/camera system that we didn't want to be non-functional. The call lasted 55 minutes and we were assured that everything was set so that the power would go back into our names when the tenant scheduled shut off. We regained possession of the house last week. Today, our power went out. I immediately called them to find out why. They stated they have no record of us ever setting that up. I looked up the cell phone record for the exact date, time and duration of the call. They again stated they had no record of it. I told them we needed to get it turned back on. They said the earliest they can do that will be next Monday, in 7 days. It was remotely shut off. No technician came to the house. We have the new style of meter that can be remotely turned off and on. I've called them twice today, and spoken to 3 different people with no resolution. Now we are stuck in a house with no power and it was over 90 degrees today. My husband is sick and quarantined and we have no where else to go. We do not owe any money. It can be turned on remotely but they are refusing to do it, stating that due to the hurricanes in the gulf they don't have any technicians available. A technician did not come to shut it off, it just went off. If we had known that the employee we spoke to in June did not set it up correctly we would have addressed it, but we had no way of knowing that. He told us it was all set up and the house would not be without power. Due to that mistake, we don't have power. And we can't leave. They have literally put a life in danger due to negligence. And the only response we have gotten is that it will be on by 8/31.
