I've been tryin' to get an estimate of my gap insurance refund and platinum warranty plan refund since May 15 - same date as cancellation
I've been tryin' to get an estimate of my gap insurance refund and platinum warranty plan refund since May 15 - same date as cancellation submitted and confirmed with 10,927 miles on the vehicle (Today is June 28). The original costs for these plans (Gap Insurance and Platinum Warranty) that were purchased on September 19 were $995 for gap insurance and $5,995 for the Platinum warranty (period of validity to: 09/18/2027 or 75,012 miles, whichever comes first) on VIN: ***. I've called *** Warranty multiple times and they told me to have Epic Chevrolet contact their warranty representative to provide the estimate. I'm worried that nothin' is bein' done and I just wanna know when the refund will come and how much it'll be. They told me on May 28th that I should get a check for the refund within one week. I can give more papers, emails, and phone records if needed.
I took my Cadillac Escalade for service/repairs on May 5th
I took my Cadillac Escalade for service/repairs on May 5th. After 17 exhausting days of trying to get updates on the work progress, they completed the repairs on May 21st when I went to pick up my car. My car was delivered with dashboard damages (they scratched the main screen of the dashboard that needs to be replaced). Upon discovery of the damages on site, I spoke with my service advisor *** who took pictures of the damages and said that he will escalate the issue with management for a resolution. I asked for an expecting call back and Mr. said 24 hours (Friday May 22). As expected, Mr. did not call me back for a resolution so I decided to contact them for an update on Tuesday May 26th since Monday 25th was a nationwide holiday. I was lucky to speak with Mr. on Tuesday May 26th after my call was transferred to the service department where he answered the call and I asked him for an update on the issue. Mr. stated that management was informed about the damages to my vehicle and he was still waiting for a resolution from management on my case. He did mention that he was going to ask again for an answer and promised to call me back within 1 hour (approximately 5:00 pm on Tuesday May 26th). Today is Saturday June 6th and I still haven't received any calls, emails, or written notification from Epic Cadillac's management on the resolution for the damages to my vehicle during their possession from May 5th to May 21.
