Initially, I was notified that my package had been left in a locker and was unable to be retrieved due to issues opening the locker. Despite this knowledge, Evri made no attempts to contact me or the sender and left the package in the locker for six full days. Eventually, after some unspecified action, they were able to retrieve the package, only to lose it again at the first depot. It was then found again, but despite being told it would arrive before 2:00 p.m., it still failed to show up.
I have been lied to countless times by Evri, and am at my wit's end with their incompetence and lack of transparency. Tracing an Evri parcel has proven to be more challenging than searching for the Holy Grail, finding Franklin in the Arctic, or even embarking on the Amazonian search for Fawcett. The experience has been a complete waste of my time, and I would not recommend using Evri for any delivery needs.

In fact, I was even told by a former courier for this company never to use the word "fragile" on a package, as this basically challenges the drivers to make sure the item is broken upon delivery. Shocking, to say the least.
I have also heard stories of parcels being stashed away in storage units that courier drivers operate out of, only to be later found for sale on eBay. It seems that profits are the only priority for this company, at the expense of both their employees and their customers.
For anyone looking for a reliable courier service, I would advise looking elsewhere. While Royal Mail may not be the cheapest option, at least you can have peace of mind that your parcel will actually be delivered safely. I, for one, will never be using Hermes or Evri again.
