EZcosplay Extremely Disappointed!

Before I placed an order, I emailed customer service asking about the size difference of a costume, since I couldn't afford the additional $30 fee for customization. I went with a large to be on the safe side, but it was too big. I wanted to return it and get a refund since the event I was going to wear it to was today! After many days of waiting for a response they said no. I asked if I can return it to exchange for a medium so I could at least get my money's worth, and they also said no since the product wasn't damaged. They told me to "...have it tailored"... I spent over $100 after shipping/handling and they offered to refund me only 15% since they "value the customer experience". After I expressed my disappointment they raised it to a whopping 20%... I feel robbed! I will not be ordering front this company again :(

Recommendation: Buy from Micostumes or DokiDoki

The cosplay came in on time and was in a plastic package. As I opened it and reviewed that item I found that it seemed to be a bit wrinkled, but this was remedied after a bit of time. I had it custom fitted and it fit well, but took some time getting used to wear and felt a bit tight at first. It may be beneficial to order it with an extra inch if you're taking near-exact measurements for you body.
Also what's important to note is that the cosplay obeyed the laws of physics and creased where there wasn't support to hold it up. For this one it was around the bicep area. The text on said biceps also seemed to favour one side, but it worked for the look.

EZcosplay Somehow I overlooked the fact the product needed to

Somehow I overlooked the fact the product needed to be 'produced/made' which took two weeks from time of order. I paid for speedy delivery, which was extra, but it didn't arrive in time for event.
Additionally, I was getting these for my thirteen year old granddaughter. She tried one of my soft contact lens to make sure she would be able to wear them. But, these were not soft. They appeared thicker and she wasn't able to tolerate wearing them. She only got one eye in and wanted them out right away.
They would probably be good for someone accustomed to contacts, but make sure you give yourself at least three weeks lead time.
Otherwise it's a great idea. I give 3.5 stars.

EZcosplay Would Recommend

Ordered a cosplay for a convention in October in May to ensure it came on time. Not only did the costume arrive early, but it was better than I expected! The boot sleeves are really loose but it's an easy fix, and the lacing on the back is easy to adjust. The wig came with a cap (which I did not expect so I ordered a separate one), and the earring for the costume came with candy tucked in! I also appreciated the option for a clip for the earring since my ears aren't pierced. Aside from the loose boot covers, only other issue I have is one stocking is too tight and the other too loose, and styling the wig. But it's a very easy fix with some fashion tape and time. I adore wearing this costume and would absolutely order from them again!

Nice cart system, easy to fill out order form. The clothing is beautiful and looks very professional. Had the outfit tailor made and it fits very good. Reason for 4 stars instead of 5: Unfortunately there is no stretch in the clothing/fabric, so although it looks good and fits great, it is not very comfortable to move around or pose in. Perhaps a cotton+polyester blend would be more comfortable than fabric with zero stretch? Either way I am in love with this cosplay! The colors and the details are spot-on, very amazing! I am just an amateur so I would never be able to make a cosplay this beautiful. I can't wait to wear this to a convention, I'm super happy and excited! (also the shoes fit like a charm and are very comfortable to wear! Shoes are 5 stars!)

EZcosplay I ordered 4 Cosplay "Avatar

I ordered 4 Cosplay "Avatar - The Last Airbender" outfits for myself, my husband, and my 2 daughters. We plan on wearing them on Halloween Night on our upcoming Disney Cruise in October. The outfits are very well made and not at all cheap like what you would get from a regular "Halloween Costume Store". The outfits were wrinkled from shipping but I easily used an iron and got them looking perfect. Be careful when ordering sizes. I ordered based on our tape measurements and which size range we fit under and all the outfits fit fairly well except for mine. It was way to large for me. The only items that needed to be adjusted were the velcro arm bands for my daughter and the velcro belt for my husband but this is an easy fix that I will do myself by sewing on additional velco. Since I need the outfit soon and I didn't want to have to go to the trouble of mailing it back for a refund, I just ordered another in the next size down. It arrived last night and it is a perfect fit and looks really well on me. If you can handle the extra $10 for "Custom Sizing", I would recommend it because this way it will definitely fit you and it won't be a guessing game. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and will definitely order again from ezcosplay.

EZcosplay Sesshomaru Wig and Nails

I placed the order for one long silver wig and 10 sized sharp press on nails. I placed the order 1 month and a day before I would leave for the convention. These things were absolutely pivotal in pulling off the cosplay, so as you might expect, I was a bit worried come 1 week before I had to depart. Fear of walking the convention floor without the wig chilled me to the bone, but I put in the work and finished making the rest of my cosplay.
Finally I finished dying the Yukata and adding the final touches to the armor 2 days shy of the convention with no sign of the package. I sadly gave up hope and purchased a tacky white wig from a party store. Forlorn as I was, I packed all my things and put them in my car, ready to depart for the convention. On my last trip down to the car I saw it. Sitting in my mail room was the most beautiful package I had ever seen. Glimmering in the buzzing florescent light of my mail room. I scooped it up with out hesitation and set it with the rest of the cosplay. I didn't get the chance to open the package until I had to wear the cosplay, so I was a bit nervous to see it all. My fears were quelled by the sight of this beautiful wig. Long and styled perfectly. The nails were great but they fell off quite a lot until I superglued them to my fingers.

Anyways. TLDR: Great buy. Highly recommend it.

EZcosplay Disappointing Experience with EZcosplay: Late Delivery and Poor Communication

I ordered some cosplays from EZcosplay back in early June. I requested that they arrive by mid to late July to ensure that they fit properly and to allow time for any necessary adjustments. However, the arrival date came and went without any word or shipping information from the company.

I decided to message them in August to inquire about the status of my order. I finally received a response on August 9th, stating that my items would be shipping out by the end of that week. However, two more weeks went by without any further communication or shipping information.

I messaged them again on a Sunday night/Monday early morning, but did not receive a response until Tuesday. They promised to provide me with information, but Wednesday came and went without any word. I messaged them again on Thursday and received the same copy and pasted response.

At this point, I was extremely frustrated. We were less than a week away from leaving for our convention and we still had not received the cosplays that we had paid for. I informed them that I would be requesting a refund if they could not provide me with any information. They offered me a 15% refund on my shipping, but I declined as I did not want to pay for something that would arrive while we were out of state for a week.

To make matters worse, they informed me that if I cancelled my order, they would keep 50% of my money as they had already made the cosplays. I was not happy with this response and informed them that I would be disputing the charge with my bank if they tried to keep any of my money.

It is disappointing that this is my second time buying from EZcosplay. The first time was great, but they never provided me with any shipping information and I just found the package on my doorstep one day. However, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I am hesitant to order from them again in the future.

EZcosplay Disappointed with EZcosplay's Exusiai KFC Cosplay Outfit: A Review

I just want to start off by saying that I'm not trying to bash EZcosplay, but I do have some concerns about the quality of their products. As someone who has experience in sewing and metal fabrication, I decided to purchase an outfit from this company instead of making it myself. I understand that they are not master seamstresses and that the quality of work will reflect the price range.

I ordered the Exusiai KFC Cosplay outfit, the wig, and the shoes. Overall, I was disappointed with the price I paid and the quality of work I received. The website's photos didn't show enough detail to accurately depict what I was paying for. After receiving the item, I realized why the item appears online to be of better workmanship than it truly is.

I ordered a large, male size, but the chest area was extremely tight for both the undercoat and poncho, severely restricting shoulder mobility. The shorts were significantly longer than I expected and made of a single-layer, synthetic fabric instead of cotton or denim. The shoes had some loose threads and the "AIR" written on the side wasn't sanded off, so I had to do it myself. The blue large patches on the poncho had adhesion issues and many bubbles underneath, causing it to pull off easily and requiring me to glue it back on. The belts and bags were atrocious, with the big belt for the harness assembly not being adjustable and the small belt using a super cheap, probably stamped sheet metal tri-glide slide that will definitely cut you if you hit it hard enough.

The shoes and costume come out to 238 USD SUBTOTAL. Let's say this outfit took 4 hours to produce, at the absolute most, and 5 USD of material. Let's say the person (or people) who made this outfit get paid 10 USD/HR. Finally, let's say there's an overhead of those 4 hours of approx 5 USD/HR. That's 65 USD to produce, being sold for a price of 238 and was made for 65. That's a ~73% profit margin, which is about 10% above what I see in retail.

Overall, I cannot support a company that charges this much money for this quality of a product. I expected better for this price, and I am now trying to fix their mistakes less than a week before Halloween. Maybe their other outfits are better, but I am never going to order from this company again. I honestly expected this outfit to come after Halloween, but I hope that it wasn't partially my fault for setting the use date on Halloween, perhaps causing them to rush my order. That said, I don't see how this quality of work is acceptable by any means, and I'd rather have an outfit worth wearing too late than one I don't want to wear on time.

EZcosplay Disappointed with Portgas D Ace Hat Accessories from Ezcosplay.com: A Honest Review

I recently purchased the Portgas D Ace hat accessories from ezcosplay.com, and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the product. While the pictures advertised on the website made the accessories look impeccable, what I received did not look anything like what was advertised. I personally feel that the amount I paid for the product could've been spent elsewhere, perhaps even in making the hat myself.

One of the first problems that I faced with the product was the fact that there weren't enough beads for the hat as was promised. The hat only came with 15 beads, and it barely covered half of the hat. This led me to believe that the creators of the product didn't bother to measure out how many beads were actually needed to get the full effect of the accessory.

The second issue was the quality of the tassel. On the original pictures, the skull on the tassel looked like it was made out of clay, while the bamboo piece looked like wood or plastic. However, when I received the product, it was clear to me that it was all made from foam paper! Not only that, but the faces and the tassel weren't even centered properly. Had I known that the quality would be so cheap, I definitely would not have spent my hard-earned money on this item.

Furthermore, I discovered that ezcosplay.com is based out of China, and this made me skeptical about purchasing the item in the first place. It's such a shame because the accessory had the potential to look really cool, but unfortunately, the poor quality ruined it for me. As someone who is not satisfied with the product, I am now in the process of trying to fix it up as much as possible.

I'm hopeful that I can find the right matching beads for the top of the hat, but I'm having a tough time finding beads that are big enough. I plan to check local stores for better options, but overall, I'm quite disappointed and frustrated with the product. I certainly will not be purchasing anything from ezcosplay.com again.

EZcosplay Mixed Experience with EZcosplay Costumes: Sizing Frustrations and Poor Quality

The process of finding the perfect costume on EZcosplay was great, but the sizing options on their website created frustration. It was difficult to select one size for both my husband and I, as we have different sizes on different parts of our bodies. As a result, my husband's shirt was too small and his pants were too big. Unfortunately, since EZcosplay is located in China, exchanging the costumes was not an option.

When we received the outfits, there were many discrepancies. My Mary Poppins dress had sleeves that were too long with slits in them, which caused fabric to drape over my arms. There were no buttons to fasten the sleeves, which I had to fix myself. Additionally, some buttons on the dress fell off on the night I wore it, and flowers on my hat came undone. The same was true for my husband's "Burt" costume: the buttons came off during the event.

We paid almost $300 for our costumes, which were very poorly made. My husband wasn't even able to wear his shirt! When I tried to communicate our concerns to the company through email, they were not very helpful. I had to fight with them to receive any kind of refund, and even then, it wasn't much.

In conclusion, EZcosplay is great for those seeking an exact match and secure pay options. However, it comes with the risk of receiving poorly made costumes, and the company may not be willing to help. Be aware of these issues before making a purchase.

EZcosplay Mixed review of EZcosplay's product and customer service

Let's start with the positive - the product from EZcosplay is fantastic. It is the best that the writer has come across and the material is thick. However, it's worth noting that it might not be suitable for warm weather. The customer bought a large size, but found the tunic to be quite snug despite being of average height and weight. The pants were slightly too long, but overall, the product was highly recommended.

Unfortunately, the customer service from EZcosplay didn't quite match up to the quality of the product. When the writer had ordered the costume in September, they had requested that it be delivered by October 13th for an upcoming function. They had made it explicitly clear in the notes and even emailed to double check the delivery date. However, despite reassurances from the customer service team that the costume would be shipped in time, it arrived six days later than intended, on October 19th!

To make matters worse, throughout this entire ordeal, there was no offer of cancellation or compensation from EZcosplay. It was evident that they only cared about getting the customer's money, rather than providing good service. The outfit that arrived was great, but it was unusable for the intended function, and the writer was deeply disappointed with the customer service experience. As a result, they decided to write an honest review to warn potential customers of this issue.

Overall, the writer recommends EZcosplay's products if you have sufficient time between ordering and delivery dates. However, it's best to be wary of their customer service as it can be unreliable, and they may not read requests as well as they should.

When I decided to purchase a custom-sized costume from ezcospaly.com, I had high hopes for the end result. After submitting my measurements and paying an additional fee to ensure that they were correct, I felt confident in my decision. I also requested a wig and shoes to accompany the costume, which they promptly provided links to as well as asked me questions to ensure my satisfaction. My interaction with their customer service was polite and professional, and I felt like I was in good hands.

However, my experience took a turn for the worse when my costume finally arrived. While it was similar to what I had envisioned, the colors were off and the sizing was all wrong. Some components were far too tall or ample for me to wear, and there were several noticeable mistakes. I immediately requested a refund, but the response time was frustratingly slow. Despite explicitly stating that I did not want a replacement, that was the first solution offered to me.

In contrast, the wig and shoes arrived in a timely manner and were satisfactory. Although the shoes were a little too tight, this is a minor issue that can be resolved with some wear.

EZcosplay My Negative Experience with EZcosplay: Poor Custom Sizing, Botched Design, and Inadequate Refund Policy

I recently had an experience with EZcosplay, a popular cosplay website, and unfortunately it was not a positive one. While the customer service was initially helpful and responsive to my inquiries regarding a custom sized Asuka Flare Costume, the payment process through the site was difficult to navigate and kept crashing.

Additionally, the only shipping option available was express shipping, which was quite expensive. However, the costume was tailored on time and arrived within a week of completion, which seemed promising.

Unfortunately, this is when the problems began. Although I had provided accurate measurements for the custom sizing, the final product was significantly smaller than requested with almost 20cm less in the bust area. Furthermore, the design was completely botched, with gloves sewn into the costume, no zipper in the back, and many of the essential details missing or poorly executed. The accessories were of poor quality, the materials were incorrect, and the design was simply not up to par.

Upon contacting them about these issues, the company initially offered a 20% refund, which was vastly insufficient given the severity of their mistakes. It was only after my persistent efforts in providing side by side comparisons with similar products from other shops that were better priced and of higher quality that they finally admitted their errors and offered a slightly better refund.

Ultimately, I had to escalate the issue to Paypal and open a dispute to receive a refund. While I am grateful to finally be receiving my money back, I would strongly advise others to stay away from this store. The quality of their products is nowhere near worth the price, and their lack of accountability and respect for their customers is simply unacceptable.

EZcosplay Disappointing Experience with EZcosplay: Poor Customer Service & Delivery Delays

It's incredibly frustrating to order a costume for an event and have it not arrive on time, and that's exactly what happened with my order from EZcosplay. I made sure to order early and even paid for express shipping, but my costume still hasn't arrived over a month later. Despite contacting the company several times to express my concerns and ask for updates, they have been unresponsive and unhelpful.

It's disappointing to see a company ignore their customers and fail to take responsibility for their mistakes. I would have appreciated an apology or explanation, but instead was left with no information on when my order would actually arrive. The lack of customer service alone is reason enough for me not to recommend EZcosplay to anyone.

I would urge potential customers to proceed with caution when considering purchasing from this company. If you do decide to order from them, be prepared for delays and poor customer service. I regret not doing more research before placing my order and hope that others are able to learn from my mistake.

EZcosplay A cautious review of shopping with EZCosplay: My experience, reputation, and considerations

Last year, I had the opportunity to shop at EZCosplay for the first time. A friend recommended this site to me, and I was excited to order some K/DA Akali shoes for my cosplay. Despite initially opting for the cheapest shipping option, EZCosplay contacted me to warn that the shoes may not arrive in time as it was their busy season and suggested opting for an expensive shipping option. Although it was an unanticipated expense, I appreciated their honesty, and the shoes were critical for my upcoming convention.

After paying for the expensive shipping option, my order still showed "processing" for weeks on the website, but I assumed it was just a glitch. Unfortunately, when the 10th of October 2019 arrived - my desired delivery date - the shoes still hadn't arrived. I was disappointed and frustrated and reached out to the customer service email for a refund on the shipping. However, I received a late-night email saying that the order had already been shipped. Seeing that the website order status had changed too, it made me wonder if they only shipped it out because I had requested a refund, which felt unfair.

Despite that experience, the shoes arrived in good condition, though I wasn't pleased with the way the laces were done up. However, I learned some negative stories about the website from other cosplay enthusiasts and decided to be cautious in shopping there. I was specifically concerned about EZCosplay's reputation for stealing product images from other sites and claiming them as their own, which several friends experienced first-hand. The company responded to being caught doing so by replacing the images immediately, making it challenging to fully trust their practices.

The website also has a reputation for erasing negative reviews in favor of crafting a friendly image. I have attached images of the email screenshots from my experience with the website, and a screenshot of an Instagram story by kinpatsucosplay, which showcases EZCosplay stealing other product images. It's important to take all of these factors into consideration when deciding whether or not to shop at EZCosplay.

EZcosplay Buyer Beware: My Negative Experience with EZCosplay - A Warning to Others

I recently had a less than ideal experience with EZCosplay (ezcosplay.com), and I feel it is important to share my story with others so they can avoid a similar situation. I made a purchase of a Hol Horse costume on June 1st, 2021 without doing enough research on the company beforehand. I spent $136.29 on the costume and eagerly awaited its arrival.

However, as the days passed without any notification from the company, I began to question their credibility. I reached out to their customer service team via email and Twitter, but received no response. I then contacted my bank about the faulty purchase, but unfortunately was told that I needed to physically go to the bank. After much frustration and waiting, I ultimately was unable to receive credit for the purchase due to the company's expertise in scamming.

Despite this setback, I decided to order from AliExpress with the help of my father, and thankfully the order was successful and on its way. It wasn't until a month later, on July 1st, that EZCosplay finally notified me that my purchase was being shipped. This was after I had already sent a request for a refund nine days after making the purchase without any response from the company.

Unfortunately, based on numerous reviews I have read, I am not optimistic about the quality of the product I will receive from EZCosplay. However, I am curious to see what they have in store for me and will update my review accordingly.

Overall, I advise anyone considering purchasing from EZCosplay to do thorough research and consider alternative options before making a decision. The lack of communication and unprofessionalism from their customer service team is concerning, and their reputation for scamming is clearly warranted.

EZcosplay EZcosplay Review: Disappointing Sizing & Quality, Slow Shipping

As a dedicated cosplayer, I was looking for a high-quality, well-fitting costume to wear to my next convention. I stumbled upon EZcosplay, an online store advertising an array of stunning cosplay designs, and decided to give them a try. At first glance, I was impressed with their size chart, which seemed to offer accurate measurements for each size listed. I ordered an extra small, as per the chart, and eagerly awaited the arrival of my new cosplay.

When the package finally arrived, I couldn't wait to try it on. I was pleased to see that the top-half of the costume fit perfectly. However, when I tried to put on the bottom half, it became immediately clear that the measurements provided were not accurate at all. Despite following the size chart, the skirt and accompanying belt were both far too small to actually wear.

To make matters worse, the quality of the fabric and craftmanship didn't seem up to par. The material was a cheap polyester with a noticeable sheen, and the stitching was not as well-done as I had hoped. I was incredibly disappointed, as the costume was far too tight and uncomfortable to wear, even for a short period of time.

Additionally, the shipping time was a major letdown. Despite being promised a 24-hour shipping timeframe, it took three to four days for my costume to even be shipped out. Then, it took over two and a half weeks to actually arrive. Given that I paid for faster shipping, (which promised delivery within 6 to 10 days) I was definitely expecting faster shipping.

Overall, my experience with EZcosplay has been disappointing. While their designs are stunning, the sizing is not accurate, and the quality of the fabric and craftsmanship leaves much to be desired. As a result, I wouldn't recommend this company to fellow cosplayers, especially those who are pressed for time and looking for a reliable, well-fitting costume.

EZcosplay Warning: My Horrible Experience with EZcosplay - Terrible Quality, Appalling Service, and Refund Nightmare

Dear fellow cosplayers,

I wanted to share my experience with EZcosplay, which I can only describe as a complete nightmare. I ordered their Trick Or Miku cosplay with shoes for Halloween, which in hindsight was a huge mistake. The quality of the costume was beyond terrible and the shoes did not fit right at all. The fabric was thin, ill-fitted, and the sewing was odd. The cape that came with the outfit was dark blue instead of black, with a misprint as well.

After the disappointment and frustration of receiving such a terrible product, I reached out to EZcosplay for a full refund. They asked me for pictures and measurements, which I provided. They did acknowledge that the size was a few centimeters too big but ignored all the other faults with the product. They suggested I find a tailor to fix it and offered a minuscule 27% refund.

I agreed to the refund, but they refused to refund me back to my original card due to it being cancelled for fraud. Instead, they asked me to buy something else from their website and to use that as the way of refunding me. While I was hesitant, I went ahead and purchased the cheapest item to get my refund. However, they only refunded me for the item I bought and not the 62% refund I was promised.

I kept contacting them, and they kept giving me false promises that I would get my money back. It has been a month, and I have yet to receive my refund of any sort. As a student who works part-time, I cannot afford to lose any money, especially toward my cosplay hobby.

The service was dishonest, and they even delete bad reviews and repost photos of cosplayers who do not wear their products, making it misleading for potential buyers. I urge fellow cosplayers not to waste their hard-earned money on EZcosplay, as the quality is terrible, and the service is appalling. Save your money and buy from a reputable retailer.

Please spread the word about EZcosplay and help prevent others from experiencing the same disappointment I did.

EZcosplay Wrong measurements

I'm on a time crunch so I followed a size chart that they list for separate sizes. I ordered the size extra small because that is what I am in American size. I can fit sizes between extra extra small and extra small or size double zero to size 2. The top of my cosplay was appropriately sized. It was an extra small jacket top, it was an extra small dress shirt top, and it fit well because it was true the measurements.

Then I put on the bottom half of the cosplay and was immediately disappointed and it dawned on me that the measurements provided were not accurate whatsoever.

Before ordering and deciding that this was going to be what I was going to cosplay I measured my waist, my hips, my chest, and it fell within the measurements for the size extra small and let me just say that the standard extra small that they have listed in the size chart is extremely incorrect.

The bottom is more like an extra extra small, but it's also apparently not for individuals who have organs or bones. The waste is so tiny and tight that there is no flexibility. There's no room for breathing. It literally pushes into your rib cage. And I'm not talking about anything between like my skin and my ribs, it's literally so small that you would have to push it against your rib cage. It's like wearing a really bad corset.

And then the accessory which is the belt was twice as small.

You have an incorrect waist size, that does not follow the size guideline, and now you also have a belt accessory that can't even go around the original sizing of the waist.

Like literally the accessory is half the size of the waist in portion. I know this because I wrapped the belt around the waist without it on and it's still too small for the skirts waste.

Not only was I sent something with incorrect sizing or measurements, I can't wear it without being in agonizing pain and at this point I don't have the time to modify it or purchase another one.

I purchased this within the time frame that they said they would ship it. I expected it to be shipped within the 24 hours that they stated because it was an in stock cosplay that was a extra small. It took them about three or four days to ship it even though it says 24-hour shipping, and then it took them about. I would easily say two and a half weeks to get to me which a lot of people might consider a good deal, but I paid for shipping that would take about 6 to 10 days not nearly 20 days so that I could possibly alter it in time, which at this point I don't have the time to do. But I already spent the money on it, the convention is days away, I don't really have a choice.

So I'm extremely disappointed with my experience, the fabric in itself is not that great. You can tell that it's that kind of cheap polyester shimmery fabric but not thin which I'll give it credit for because at least it's not thin fabric. I just think that my experience is what a lot of people have experience with this website in regards to measurement, and that my cosplay was inaccurately measured when made and that they should keep in mind that women do have organs.

EZcosplay They delete bad reviews and steal their product pictures, save your money! Don't buy!

This is a message addressed ***@EZCosplayAnd I will be posting this EVERYWHERE until I get my money back.

Long story short they delete bad reviews steal their product pictures from a store called Artistic Sprouts, they sent me an atrocity priced at 200$ after shipping, promised a small refund, then a better refund, then made me buy something again to get the refund, and then NEVER refunded
First of all, don't buy from them. It is extremley overpriced, the quality is horrible, and the service is dishonest. They delete bad reviews and they also repost pictures of cosplayers that aren't wearing their product for better exposure and misleading advertising.
About a month before halloween, I ordered their Trick Or Miku cosplay along with the shoes. The pictures speak for themselves.
Overall the fabric is really thin, and the sewing is really strange. Everything is ill-fitted. The socks were so long, even if you are taller than 2 meters they still wont fit you. Even though the shoes were the right length they were made unusually wide, they just fall off my feet and it's extremely dangerous to walk in. The cape that came with the outfit is dark blue and has a misprint, it was advertised as black.
I can't use anything, there's nothing that is wearable. Therefore, I reached out to EZcosplay and asked for a full refund. They asked for pictures and measurements, which I sent. They admitted that the cosplay was made a few cm too large. But they ignored me when I told them about the different colors, misprint on the cape, and unusual wide shoes. And this is what they replied:

"Hi,
Thanks for your pictures and sorry about it. The costume seems a little bigger than the size chart, sorry again. Could you find a local tailor to fix it? The shoe length is normal, the foot-wide cannot make customize size and we make it in normal size. We will refund you 15% of the costume and shoes, and you used a 12% discount before, the total is 27% discount, is it ok? "
Despite the fact that a 27% refund is a joke, they seemed apologetic, but I insisted that there really isn't anything I can salvage from this costume, and they ignored everything except the tailoring. I also told them that if buying from them entails spending extra money to go and have it specially tailored, they need to mention that on their website.
They finally accepted a 62% discount which is a little better so I agreed. But they couldn't refund my original card because my old card got cancelled for fraud. I asked if paypal was ok or any other method. And they said no, I need to purchase something AGAIN from their website and they will give the refund that way... I was really hesitant, but I did. I bought the cheapest thing I could find. And sure enough, they refunded me. But only for the item I bought, not the 62% of my previous order.
I told them I only received the refund for the item they told me to buy, and not the refund I wanted. They said to wait a week. So I did. And then a week later I contacted them again telling them that I would regrettably post a bad review if I still don't get my money.
Well here I am. I still haven't received my refund and it's been a month.
I am a student, I work part time, and I don't make a lot of money. A small portion of my money goes to my hobby of cosplay. And they treated me like $#*!. They didn't even give a penny back for the mistakes they made.
I would REALLY appreciate it if you share my review about EZcosplay. I don't want another cosplayer going through what I did. And apparently I am not the only one.
I learned the hard way, but I can tell you now. Save your money, and NEVER BUY FROM EZcosplay. I won't settle until I get my refund. Make it 100% refund because of the wait and bad service.

EZcosplay Very disappointed

Before I write anything I want to show before anything else, I am not talking trash about a company with no clue about what I am really saying. I have some experience in sewing (leather, primarily) and metal fabrication, admittedly cloth and synthetics not so much, hence why I purchased an outfit from this company rather than making it myself. Please keep in mind that due to that, my terminology in this review will be inaccurate and somewhat in lamens terms. I understand profit margins. I understand this company is not a group of master seamstresses and I understand the quality of work to be expected from this price range.

For context, I am a man (I know, wearing a girl's outfit, it's ironic just for giggles) and I wear a large at 5'10" and 170lbs.

I am very disappointed with the price I paid overall, and the quality of work I received. The website's photos are not detailed enough to show what you are paying for. After receiving the item (which, pleasantly took less time than I expected) and reviewing the pictures, I can now see why the item appears online to be of better workmanship than it truly is.

I purchased the Exusiai KFC Cosplay (191 subtotal), the wig (which was actually okay) and the shoes (47). So my only criticisms will apply to either the shoes or the outfit itself.

Not a huge deal, but I ordered a large, male (they allow the choice between female and male for sizing so I picked the right one) when I am in between a medium and large according to their size chart, and because I wanted room to grow into it. I found out the chest area is extremely tight for both the undercoat and poncho, severely restricting shoulder mobility. But that's not a big deal, it's to be expected when they aren't custom tailoring it to my measurements, but considering that all of the upper body measurements were supposed to be too big for me is the problem I have with it.

Really my main issue is with the shorts, shoes, and the belt/bags of the outfit. Every single article has some sort of loose threads, and a number of them were not knotted at the end so they pulled out exceptionally easily.

The shorts are significantly longer than I expected (although that may be due to me picking the male option in sizing) and are made of a single-layer, synthetic fabric (when they should be cotton or denim). And it uses a plastic snap button instead of a proper flat button. It would have cost them barely anything to buy higher quality shorts of the proper material, but they chose this instead.

The shoes have that yellow vinyl trim around the sole, well it's not cut straight as if they cut it freehand. The shoes also have "AIR" written on the side and on the bottom of the sole you have some hilariously cheap depiction of a man dunking, obviously some air Jordan knockoffs. But that's perfectly fine to me, the problem I have with it is they didn't bother to sand off the "AIR" on the side when they made the shoe and you can see it through the vinyl trim, so I had to do it myself. I know they are buying these shoes for pennies on the dollar, how hard is it for a few minutes of sanding, melting with acetone, and using a ruler to cut your fabric to sell it for 47USD? Exusiai's symbol on the tongue is cut in a poor manner and isn't even correct to the outfit. But, other than that the shoes actually look really cool and fit well, especially after I was done messing with them. Although it's displayed in the pictures and not a negative consideration for my review, the place where the vinyl seam meets should be at the rear of the shoe, not the inside middle near the arch.

The blue large patches on the poncho have adhesion issues (I mean it is translucent plastic, of course it won't stick well, and that's why we sand smooth surfaces before painting) and has many bubbles underneath, causing it to pull off easily and requiring me to glue it back on. The edges of the patches are not cut square and they are fraying from lack of rolled and glued edges or chemical/heat sealing (like cauterizing the edges).

The belts and bags are atrocious. To understand the outfit, you have one small bag that goes on the black undershirt and its own belt, and then a much large shoulder harness-type belt with two larger bags that goes outside of the poncho. Surprise surprise, the big belt for the harness assembly is not adjustable, so it just hangs down. The way you get the waist to look good in a big baggy jacket (which wasn't that baggy, same material as the shorts, synthetic and sad) is the belt will pull it tight. If it just hangs it would look terrible and unstructured. Belt was far too large, and no way of changing its length. So I just grabbed a belt from goodwill, sewed the clip buckle onto it, and used that instead. The small belt is adjustable funny enough, but it uses a super cheap, probably stamped sheet metal tri-glide slide that will definitely cut you if you hit it hard enough. Like I said, cents on the dollar (less actually).

This company obviously made the small bag with its own belt, but it doesn't make sense to me why they did that. The larger bags on the harness belt are some Chinese brand, and look much better (but overall not amazing). I also noticed, but I may be wrong that Exusiai has three bags on her harness belt, not two, along with the smaller under-jacket bag I mentioned earlier. The material the belts are made is a single layer with no rounded or stitched edges, and some of the lowest quality synthetic leather I have ever seen. The over-shoulder piece actually broke at the loop around the belt while I was test-fitting it, and I did not have it particularly tight. But all this makes me think,

Why not just get premade bags and belts for everything? Overall knowing domestic Chinese prices, it would cost (and this is being generous) a few dollars more, for a significantly better end product.

This is the main reason for my 1-star review.
The shoes and costume come out to 238 USD SUBTOTAL.

Let's say this outfit took 4 hours to produce, at the absolute most, and 5 USD of material (they buy in bulk, this is generous, I've spent my time on Aliexpress). Let's say the person (or people) who made this outfit get paid 10 USD/HR (which they most definitely don't). Finally, let's say there's an overhead of those 4 hours of approx 5 USD/HR (remember, that number is only for my outfit, not the tens of others they are making at the same time for their custom-made ones).

That's 65 USD to produce (extremely generous in my numbers, most countries DO NOT get paid anywhere NEAR American wages and pay American prices, especially one known for their cheap labor)
Being sold for a price of 238 and was made for 65. That's a ~73% profit margin, in my experience, that is about 10% above what I see in retail.

TLDR; I cannot support a company that charges this much money for this quality of a product. I expected better for this price, and I am now trying to fix their mistakes less than a week before Halloween. Maybe their other outfits are better but I am never going to order from this company again.

I honestly expected this outfit to come after Halloween, I hope that it wasn't partially my fault for setting the use date on Halloween, perhaps causing them to rush my order. That said, I don't see how this quality of work is acceptable by any means, I'd rather have an outfit worth wearing too late than one I don't want to wear on time.

EZcosplay Disappointed with Portgas D Ace Hat Accessories from Ezcosplay.com: A Honest Review

I recently purchased the Portgas D Ace hat accessories from ezcosplay.com, and I must say, I was quite disappointed with the quality of the product. While the pictures advertised on the website made the accessories look impeccable, what I received did not look anything like what was advertised. I personally feel that the amount I paid for the product could've been spent elsewhere, perhaps even in making the hat myself.

One of the first problems that I faced with the product was the fact that there weren't enough beads for the hat as was promised. The hat only came with 15 beads, and it barely covered half of the hat. This led me to believe that the creators of the product didn't bother to measure out how many beads were actually needed to get the full effect of the accessory.

The second issue was the quality of the tassel. On the original pictures, the skull on the tassel looked like it was made out of clay, while the bamboo piece looked like wood or plastic. However, when I received the product, it was clear to me that it was all made from foam paper! Not only that, but the faces and the tassel weren't even centered properly. Had I known that the quality would be so cheap, I definitely would not have spent my hard-earned money on this item.

Furthermore, I discovered that ezcosplay.com is based out of China, and this made me skeptical about purchasing the item in the first place. It's such a shame because the accessory had the potential to look really cool, but unfortunately, the poor quality ruined it for me. As someone who is not satisfied with the product, I am now in the process of trying to fix it up as much as possible.

I'm hopeful that I can find the right matching beads for the top of the hat, but I'm having a tough time finding beads that are big enough. I plan to check local stores for better options, but overall, I'm quite disappointed and frustrated with the product. I certainly will not be purchasing anything from ezcosplay.com again.

EZcosplay Review: EZcosplay Grey Fullbuster Cosplay - Great Quality, but Pants Not Accurate

It would be really great if EZcosplay could accept payments in CAD$, so that I don't have to pay extra service charges. I ordered my cosplay two months ago and it finally arrived, but the package had a tear in it. I'm guessing that happened during shipping, but thankfully, the cosplay itself was in perfect condition. The necklace that came with it was actually a keychain with a metal chain added to it. I had to take off the key ring and attach the chain myself. The pants on the cosplay are supposed to rest on the hips, but they actually go up to the waist. I gave them my measurements, but the waist is a bit tight. I think the reference image they used didn't show the pants without a shirt covering them, so it's not as accurate as it could be. Grey Fullbuster is often seen without a shirt, so it's a bit disappointing that the cosplay covers my belly button instead of resting on my hips. However, as long as the pants don't rip because of my big hips, I can probably pull them down as much as possible or maybe even remove the elastics to make them fit better. Despite this issue, I'm really happy with the jacket! Overall, the cosplay is of great quality and I'm satisfied with my purchase. Even though the pants aren't 100% accurate, it's still better than what I could have done myself. Thank you, EZcosplay! For next time, when making a Grey Fullbuster cosplay, please make sure the pants rest on the hips and not go up to the waist. The belly button should be visible if no shirt is being worn, kind of like how blue jeans rest on the hips.

EZcosplay Mixed Experience with EZcosplay Costumes: Sizing Frustrations and Poor Quality

The process of finding the perfect costume on EZcosplay was great, but the sizing options on their website created frustration. It was difficult to select one size for both my husband and I, as we have different sizes on different parts of our bodies. As a result, my husband's shirt was too small and his pants were too big. Unfortunately, since EZcosplay is located in China, exchanging the costumes was not an option.

When we received the outfits, there were many discrepancies. My Mary Poppins dress had sleeves that were too long with slits in them, which caused fabric to drape over my arms. There were no buttons to fasten the sleeves, which I had to fix myself. Additionally, some buttons on the dress fell off on the night I wore it, and flowers on my hat came undone. The same was true for my husband's "Burt" costume: the buttons came off during the event.

We paid almost $300 for our costumes, which were very poorly made. My husband wasn't even able to wear his shirt! When I tried to communicate our concerns to the company through email, they were not very helpful. I had to fight with them to receive any kind of refund, and even then, it wasn't much.

In conclusion, EZcosplay is great for those seeking an exact match and secure pay options. However, it comes with the risk of receiving poorly made costumes, and the company may not be willing to help. Be aware of these issues before making a purchase.

EZcosplay Disappointing Experience with EZcosplay: Unreliable Communication and Missed Deadlines

I decided to order my Red Queen costume from EZcosplay with plenty of time to spare, as I had an event coming up and wanted to ensure I had plenty of time for any necessary adjustments or additions to my costume. Despite requesting a measurement change in the waistline, I did not hear back from the company for two weeks. When I reached out for an update, I received conflicting answers which left me feeling confused and frustrated.

After sending another two emails, I was informed that my costume would not be ready until mid-October - despite my event being clearly marked as taking place on October 5th. I was disappointed and angry to discover that I had allowed almost a month for processing and shipping, as outlined by their website, at a cost of $68+ for express delivery. I had trusted this timeline and paid for the express shipping, only to discover that my costume would not be ready in time.

Feeling exceptionally unhappy with EZcosplay, I immediately started a dispute with PayPal in order to reclaim my funds. I also contacted EZcosplay again and requested a full refund of my $313.59, as well as an immediate cancellation of my order. I will not rest until I receive my full refund, and I believe that this company's actions have been deceitful and unethical, with no care for their customers whatsoever. I strongly urge others to be aware of such unscrupulous business practices and instead choose a company with more respect for their clients.

EZcosplay Disappointing Experience with EZCosplay: Delayed Delivery, Poor Customer Service & Inaccurate Advertised Items

When we first discovered EZCosplay, we were excited to place an order for two wigs, especially when we saw they offered two-day shipping. We had an event coming up and wanted to ensure everything was perfect, so we placed our order a week and a half in advance. Unfortunately, soon after we hit the checkout button, we noticed a message stating that the "Wear by" date for the items was a week after our event. This understandably caused us concern, so we reached out to EZCosplay customer service via a message.

Sadly, our concerns went unaddressed for nearly a week before we finally received a response. When they did answer us, their responses felt unhelpful and even ignored our main question, which was whether or not the items would arrive in time for our event. This lack of communication left us feeling uneasy about our purchase.

To our dismay, our order took three weeks to arrive. Even then, we were only notified that one of the wigs had been "lost" on its way to the EZCosplay office, and we were to receive the items separately. We were not satisfied with this arrangement, as we wanted to receive both wigs at the same time. When we requested to be refunded for the shipping (which was as much as one wig), we were informed that we would not be receiving a refund and that they would send the items separately anyway.

To add insult to injury, the items we received were not even entirely as advertised. After nearly two months and seven weeks past the "Wear by" date, we finally received our wigs together.

Overall, our experience with EZCosplay left much to be desired. Their customer service was abysmal, and we would not recommend purchasing items from them. We appreciate the two-day shipping offer, but if it's not reliable, it's not worth it.

I recently had an experience with EZcosplay that I feel compelled to share. I was in search of a specific cosplay staff that I couldn't seem to find anywhere else. After a bit of searching, I stumbled upon EZcosplay and found what I was looking for. I must say, I was a bit hesitant to order from them as I had never heard of the website before, but I decided to give it a chance.

I placed my order and eagerly awaited its arrival. When the package finally arrived, I was impressed with how well it was packaged. However, my excitement soon turned to disappointment as I discovered that the staff was broken. The material it was made of was flimsy foam board, and it even appeared to be bent in some areas. I suspect that one of the pieces was broken during the packaging process.

I immediately contacted EZcosplay's customer service team, hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, they were not very helpful. They insisted that the staff had been fine when it was sent out, and they offered me a meager 10% discount if I kept it and fixed it myself. I felt like I was getting the runaround as I kept emailing them, but the response always seemed noncommittal. They claimed it was coming, but it never showed up. When they finally said that my refund wasn't processed because they were in the process of some kind of festival, I called them out on their Facebook page.

It was disheartening to find out that they didn't have my information, and furthermore, it wasn't even under the same name for my purchase. Honestly, I don't believe I'll ever see my refund. Now, I'm unfortunately stuck with a prop that is not very well made and definitely wasn't worth the price I paid for it.

I just want to warn any potential buyers that EZcosplay might not be what they seem. They appear to be shady, and I would highly advise that you approach with caution before making any expensive purchases.

EZcosplay Disappointing Experience with EZcosplay: Lack of Communication and Poor Customer Service

As someone who was excited to receive a costume for a special event, I unfortunately had a negative experience with EZcosplay. I placed my order on September 11th, 2021, with an event date of October 9th, 2021. I assumed that this would be more than enough time for my costume to be tailored and shipped out. To my disappointment, I received no communication in regards to any unforeseen delays.

As my event drew closer and closer, I became increasingly anxious as my costume had not arrived. With no shipping notification, I reached out to the company via email to inquire about my order status. Unfortunately, I only received a generic response stating that my order was in processing and should be finished before Halloween. This was concerning, as my event was scheduled far before Halloween. It was disheartening to not have my concerns addressed, and I continued to wait for my order with no updates.

After several attempts to contact the company via email, I decided to request a refund due to the fact that my costume would not arrive in time for my event. I was disappointed to receive no response, and even more disappointed to have been ignored after sending a second refund request.

I cannot stress this enough - do not trust EZcosplay to tailor and ship a costume on time. Not only am I disappointed in their lack of communication, but their customer service appears to be non-existent. I highly recommend avoiding this company and their lackluster service. While the negative reviews may seem harsh, I personally believe that they hold merit. It simply is not worth the risk.

EZcosplay Disappointed with EZcosplay's Inadequate Customization & Poor Customer Service

Being a cosplayer for over a decade, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous costume sellers and can say for certain that my experience with EZcosplay has left me utterly disappointed. My costume order had been custom-tailored, with additional payment made towards it, however, to my utter dismay, it was far from being custom-fit.

Upon receiving the package, I realized that the bustier zipper had fallen off, making it difficult for me to even wear the costume properly. The jumpsuit pieces and the bustier were several inches too large for me and kept slipping off my body. To top it off, even the gloves that came along were not fitting me well; they were extremely small for my hands, and my fingers could not even go beyond halfway into the holes.

I tried contacting the seller multiple times, hoping for a resolution to this issue, but all I got was a runaround from their customer service team. They claimed that sending a custom-tailored outfit multiple inches larger than the intended size was standard protocol and expected me to pay more for tailoring even when I had already paid an extra amount for the custom sizing. They refused to provide a refund or accept a return.

The seller's response and their indifference towards the issue astounded me, and I was left with no other option but to take this loss. It was an unexpected and extremely unpleasant experience, and I would not recommend EZcosplay to anyone looking for a reliable cosplay costume seller. Even my group of six cosplayers will be finding alternative options for their costume needs in the future. It is safe to say that I would not be ordering from this site again.

EZcosplay My Unsatisfactory Experience with EZcosplay's Customer Service

I recently had an experience with EZcosplay that left a lot to be desired. Initially, I was drawn to this website because of their great selection of costumes and what seemed to be a genuine concern for their customers. Unfortunately, my positive first impression quickly fell apart.

I ordered a complete costume, including a wig, and was pleased with the costume and the speed with which it was shipped. However, the wig that arrived was completely wrong in terms of both color and length. I contacted customer service to try and resolve the issue, but the responses I received were extremely disappointing.

In my first email, I was told that I was expected to style the wig myself, which was something I had already anticipated. In my second email, I explained that they had sent me the wrong wig entirely, and was only offered a 10% refund, despite the fact that the wig cost me $45 USD.

After invoking their return/refund policy, which states that unused and undamaged products are eligible for a full refund, I was offered a 20% refund. When I suggested that I would like to exchange the wig for a different one that would go with a costume I planned to purchase later in the year (a wig that was half the price of the original one I bought), my request was denied.

In the end, I felt as though EZcosplay was not trustworthy and operated their policies in a scam-like fashion. I would not recommend buying from them if you are at all unsure about your purchase. Unfortunately, my negative experiences with this company have left me with very little trust in their ability to provide good customer service. If I could, I would have given them a zero-star rating for essentially ripping me off.
