Hey cannot fulfill next day delivery orders so don't bother paying the next day charge. Every single time my has failed to turn up next day. I have spent over ?400 on one order which has failed to turn up. Customer service have emailed the courier, emailed?! Ridiculous if you have an account you should have access to contact them. I can't believe this company is still allowed to trade. No solutions or help offered. I only order because of Lorna Luxe once her contract ends I will be shopping elsewhere as the service and quality if we are being honest is not worth the pricehey cannot fulfill next day delivery orders so don't bother paying the next day charge. HalloweenCostumes The costume I ordered was great!

The costume I ordered was great! Well made, lightweight, fit exactly as it said it would fit (It was a bit big on my, but I was easily able to make it work with some double sided tape and rolling up the sleeves.) Shipping was fast and easy; in fact, I accidentally ordered it with regular shipping when I wanted to pay extra for expedited shipping, and customer service was quick and painless to remedy this. Also, arrived earlier than promised. I got a lot of laughs as a leprechaun in work that day. Also, the pants had pockets! Yes, who doesn't love pockets. The price was great, and I will definitely order again and again.

HalloweenCostumes Excellent Customer Service

After having such a bad experience with H & M today i joined this site to share my experience. I then remembered what a good experience i had with this company and needed to leave a review. I am suprised at the negative reviews. I ordered a costumer in the beginning of october for an early halloween party. I paid for overnight shipping since i needed it for saturday night. It was wen or thurs i ordered it i cannot remember. I got the tracking number later that day and it said it would arrive on monday! NOOO which was UPS fault anyways it clearly said overnight and they just decided they would deliver in two days. I called customer service and they overnighted another one to me and i got it the next day. That is what customer service is all about. They were so nice... i had to send the late package back, no problems

HalloweenCostumes Terrific Customer Service Department

Terrific personal customer service reps are available to answer your questions in a friendly knowledgable manner. I am so glad that when I call these folks I am not caught in an endless loop of computer prompted questions which 95% of the time end up with me being put on an endless hold (with/or without elevator music) and then a mysterious "disconnect" occurs.
Thank goodness this company still values there "human" connection. I think if other company's followed their example the world would be a better place. I applaud them!
Their products are of high quality and at a good price. I've only got good things to say about HalloweenCostumes.com
I also get a kick out of their humorous product descriptions. Someone there knows you can be professional and funny at the same time. As Jessica Rabbit said "He makes me Laugh"!

The site was very well laid out. Key word searches actually turned up what you were looking for without having to get creative like on other sites. Products that were in stock were easily identifiable. The sizes are very accurate. At first, i was confused at which size i should choose as i am usually an xl in most brands. I was informed that the good folks at halloweencostumes.com measure the products themselves, and those are the sizes they have on display. Again. A perfect fit! Excellent customer service and very fast delivery. I called the customer service number as they were getting ready to close and the representative took the time to help me find what i was looking for and set up an appropriate delivery method. I received the package in days, which is ridiculous by all standards considering that i currently live in korea. I am telling all of my friends and colleagues to shop at this site for future costume purchases.

HalloweenCostumes Excellent costumer service and AMAZING quality

So, I ordered my daughters duck costume from this site and I was super excited because its what she asked to be and every other site and store in my city was sold out, this was the only site that had it in stock. Than I read the reviews and seen bow terrible they where so I was worried. I kept emailing them to make sure it was going to be shipped and they answered me right away and assured me it was coming. My package didn't end up coming on the date it said it was it was only a day late but the lady from halloweencostumes.com gave me a refund on my shipping which was amazing because I didn't even ask for one and when my costume did come the next day it was AMAZING quality super soft and I'm SO happy! I think this site is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone. Some of these comments are rediculous and I don't think there is anything wrong with this site or th quality. The size and everything is on point amazing and I WILL be shopping here again.

I called my bank and heard 'Halloween Costumes" cause I didn't even notice the name of the website when I placed the order cause of how desperate, I was shocked but at the same time The price was so cheap that I told my boyfriend that I think I bought a halloween costume for our wedding and he's about to get married in a costume I found it sooo funny that I was laughing and I even called my daughter and told her. She was like "Oh my God Mommy" But I didn't care, I got a great bargain and I was happy. Now when I got the box I was so extremly happy, It didn't look like a halloween costume at all. I was really pleased with the tux I bought from you guys. The shoes were the wrong size but the lady that helped me over the phone was so nice that nothing mattered. I didn't care. I was still happy. She told me she would talk to her manager and have them sent free of charge cause it wasn't my fault. You guys are great all around. Thank You! From a satisfied customer. :)

HalloweenCostumes One stop halloween shop

Amazing online shop they are under fun.com or halloweencostumes. Com I belive there like sister stores is all. I start way early usually around June i get my theme an by July or so Iam stocking on supplies from decorations too costumes. Plus size is about impossiable to find online you order a 6X an find out its actually a USA large if lucky an the quality is poor. My hubby is 6 foot a tad over and 412 lbs he wanted to do the bigfoot acting this year well went to my goto spot of 5 yrs an BAMM plus size 5X he has room an he says its very comfortable no alternations need made. The costumes are so well made on most you can do alterterations. Well this year bigfoot is fighting a werewolf in the cematary of course so I had to get a werewolf for my SIL about 5 foot maybe 200 lbs she wears ladys size 16 pants. Anyway got her a large same result excellent comfort an fit an the mask even better the jaw moves when she opens her mouth so thats gonna be super creepy!Been using this site 5 years only 1 time i had to do a return and i got the same plesent service as when i ordered, They made the return super easy an before they even got the package back my money was on my card. Also live chat and phone number talking real ppl! BONUS u get rewards that are actualy worth using, You can not go wrong with these guys trust me.

I was looking for a Harley Quinn costume at the very last minute for my 14-year-old. I found it here, and as soon as I placed the order, I realized I had ordered two instead of one. I called, and it was the middle of the night, but someone actually answered! She was awesome! Immediately pulled up my order and fixed it and sent a confirmation of the change. I received the costume the very next day. It was refreshing to have someone answer at such an odd hour AND be courteous, helpful and efficient!

Last weekend I went to Comicon and took my Hook Elite costume from Fun.com and everyone loved it! Got compliments all around fans of the movie! They loved how professional it looked! I am 173 cm tall and I usually wear Large clothes, I ordered a large and it is a bit bigger , the look is perfect, I love the jacket and the shoe covers, It does not come with a Hook, mine was 3d printed and painted by me, and I also added a sword. All in all I do recommend this costume if you want to cosplay as Dustin Hoffman's Hook! You will have a blast!

I ordered the pink gogo boots for "Purim" holiday in Israel, it was taking a chance on a site I don't know with very limited time... the order was made on February 10th and was scheduled to arrive in February 14th - we dont get mail so fast inside the country so from the US ... mamamiya... I even asked the customer service on live chat to change the size just in case it will be small on me and it arrived to my hands on February 14th - AMAZING the boots were nice, just as described I had such a good buying experience, very pleased and will definitely recommend and order next year :-)

This is my 2nd year ordering from this company (2 purchases and 1 rental) and I couldn't be happier with my experiences. This year I wore the Deluxe Kansas Girl costume dress to two costume contests and rode my horse twice in it (total of 4 hours riding). I got it really dirty and it came through the wash just like new! I am short waisted so I shortened the front and back straps so I didn't look too small in it. It has a really nice full skirt, lots of layers. I had a little extra room in the waist which was nice but the cuffs at the sleeves were very snug but I do have very muscular arms. I got so many compliments and really enjoyed being Dorothy this year. I'm getting my list together for our Christmas parade costumes order!

I ordered my son’s costume and was given a delivery date of 9/28. On 10/1 we still didn’t have the costume and the tracking showed it had been delivered to our local post office on 9/23. After contacting the post office and determining they could not find the costume I called customer service. After explaining the situation and letting the rep know we needed the costume for an event 10/8 she was fast to confirm the issue and get a replacement costume shipped to us by 10/6. Even though the company was not at fault for the lost parcel- they still graciously offered to ship me a new one. My 8 yr old is so happy knowing he will have his sonic costume for his event this weekend and for Halloween. Thank you for your great customer service. We will absolutely be shopping with you again.

I ordered 2 costumes from HalloweenCostumes.com - plus a wig accessory. My order was delivered on time as promised, and the quality and value were terrific. I ordered the swinger suit for my husband, and it was more than I had anticipated in terms of quality. We did take it to the cleaners to get the packaging wrinkles out, and to add a crease to the trouser portion, and it looks perfect for the event we are attending! I got the Caribbean woman pirate costume for myself, and it fit very well. The size guides on the website were accurate which was a BIG plus for me. I am still trying to figure out how to manage the hat that came with the pirate costume - but I am overall VERY pleased with my purchase, ease of purchase, and delivery time. Been a customer of Fun.com for almost two years now. And my favorite time of year to buy online is just around the corner. My favorite place to shop online to find all the gifts I need is hands down Fun, everytime. I always find the coolest most unique gifts on this site. Gifts for everyone I know that I have never found anywhere else. From license character PJs for my kids, to cute kitchen appliances for my sisters to their one of a kind Marvel Hidden Identity business suits for my husband and most recently the best quality Spidey costume a mom could ever hope for. I recommend fun.com almost everytime I'm asked for holiday buying guidance and I've never been let down by them. Customer service is super efficient and great to deal with and shipping rates and times far exceed my expectations every time, even during the busiest season. I will be back for more because I won't ever get enough of fun.com!

HalloweenCostumes My experience with repackaged costumes and awful customer service

I received my order and was quite disappointed to see that the costume had clearly been worn by someone else. There was hair hanging off of it and it had clearly been repackaged. I contacted customer service and they assured me that this must have been a one off mistake and they would send me a new costume in new packaging. The second package arrived and yet again I received another costume that had been repackaged. I contacted customer service and they offered a full refund only after I had to argue with them. First they said it was outside of the return window of my first shipment and then another excuse. It was only after I said I would do a chargeback multiple times during the conversation if they weren't willing to help me that they agreed to a full refund after I returned the costumes. I shipped the costumes and checked on October 26th if I had been issued a refund. Sure enough, no refund yet. I contacted customer service to ask for an update and they told me a refund had been issued on October 1st. I asked them to send me an email stating that so I could follow up regarding why the refund had not been processed on my end. They then said they were busy processing returns and I would get my refund soon, which contradicted what they told me before. This whole process has been a pain and I've learned my lesson not to order from companies like this again. Amazon and the big box stores are so much easier to deal with and you are more likely to get a new product when you pay for it. Also, when they ended the conversation they just said, "bottom line, you'll get your money soon." I was quite shocked and responded again. They just said they had nothing more to say. I think their customer service says a lot about the company and what to expect when you make a purchase.

HalloweenCostumes Lacking Communication?UNTRUSTWORTHY!

I WILL UPDATE WHEN I ACTUALLY GET MY ORDER

*Heres somewhat of an update*
I spoke with a rep today (10/13/22) and now my costume won't ship until Monday (10/17/22). I was told i had 2 options, just wait for the costume to be sent "eventually" or cancel the order all together(being plus size costumes this was my only option) It'll be 2 weeks after my original order was placed for it to even be shipped. I asked if other people had the problems I was having. They told me that my order was the only one (highly doubt that). My original order was completely refunded according to them although I have yet to see the money. They also refunded me for the 1 day shipping on my 2nd order (they paid for it to begin with but ok?). I am absolutely APPALLED that this company is still in business. I originally ordered 12 days before my costume party and paid for express shipping, I still can't even get my costume with 1 day shipping. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS

I ordered a Harry Potter robe with multiple accessories on 10/4/22 with 2-day shipping. I never received my order and have been in contact with reps since 10/7/22. From 10/7-10/10 I was told my order was just pushed back and that it would be sent out by the end of each day. On 10/10 I was finally told 1 one of my items was out of stock, did not have a restock date and would have to be taken off so my order could ship. I agreed to take the item off as long as I had confirmation of the refund and that my order would then ship out the same day. I never received an email about the item refund, so I contacted customer service again on 10/11. I was then told the item was in stock, but my order had been pushed again but assured me the order would be shipped out that day. 10/12 I contacted them again since I still had no tracking number, I was first told the item was in stock, but my order had been delayed again. I urged the rep to check again since I was being told multiple different things, upon further investigation the item was out of stock but was not removed from my order like I was told it was going to be. The item could not be taken off like the previous rep said it would be, since I went through a 3rd party to pay (Sezzle). The rep told me the only way I could get my order soon was to cancel my 1st order and rebuy everything. I currently have not seen a refund for my 1st order. I am only giving 2 stars because HalloweenCostumes did pay for 1 day shipping for the 2nd order, and they refunded me for $14.99 for 2-day shipping on the 1st order. Every day I contacted them, the reps told me they would have to speak with their team leaders, I know October is a very busy time for this company but with my experience, it feels like no one talks to each other. The constant miscommunication and the failure of my order never being shipped out has left me never wanting to buy from this company again.

I purchased a costume using the size guide available on the website but when the costume arrived, I discovered it was too large. I had only removed the black skirt from the package to try on and nothing else. I immediately put the skirt back into the package and placed everything into the box it came in. I then began the refund/exchange process for a smaller size. They credited me the amount of the costume ($84.07) to what they call “FunBuck$”, which I used to purchase the same costume in a smaller size plus accessories, and it was perfect. Today I received an email from them stating they had received my return and they would “verify the products are eligible for a refund…” Moments later, my debit card was charged. I contacted them through their Live Chat option in which Joneesha F. informed that my return was rejected due to “a brownish stain on the back of the blouse and dark marks on the skull wrap.” There is no way possible I caused any stains on either the blouse or the skull cap because I never touched them. My hands and body were completely clean and free of any makeups or lotions, etc. when I tried on JUST the black skirt. I’ve asked for proof of this with pictures but after reading others’ complaints, I don’t trust that they will be legitimate pictures of the costume that I returned. And as I’ve seen others mention here, if it is stained, how do I know these stains didn’t end up on the costume from the receiving associate? Also, to charge my debit card within minutes of sending the email stating they just received my costume seems a little odd. They sent no notice of the second charge or anything explaining the charge; I had to contact them. They are clearly very unethical and have a low standard of conduct.

I purchased a costume on 10/19/22. The Boys Starlight Deluxe Women's Costume Size: *** $54.99 1 = $54.99 Subtotal:$54.99 Tax:$4.41 Shipping:$7.99 Total: $67.39 I should have received the product in 3-5 business days. I tried communicating beginning Sunday with no luck. Tuesday morning I received a live chat that the item was oversold. However, no email or refund was issued or sent. I double checked to see if I was billed since it will not be shipped out and I noticed that not only was I billed but the company set up a recurring monthly payment for the price I paid through another business name called Fun. I canceled the recurring payment but have not received the refund. I got ahold of a customer service agent after 2 hours of wait to tell me that it was oversold. I was promised an immediate email confirming that information & a processed email. After researching, these is common with this company.

I ordered a cat Halloween costume for my one year old. I paid additional for shipping so that we would receive the package on time. I received an empty bag. The bag had not been tampered with at all. The bag is sealed and there are no rips or tears in it. I did attempt to contact them via email, live chat, and phone. I received no response from my email. Live chat just loads and no one ever responds. I called during their business hours at 12:30pm EST and received an automated message that said that I called outside of business hours and to try again during business hours. Which is ridiculous because I called DURING their business hours. I just want to be refunded the full amount since I received NOTHING. Getting no response from them is very frustrating.

HalloweenCostumes On October 12 I ordered an Energizer Bunny costume that was listed at one size fits all

On October 12 I ordered an Energizer Bunny costume that was listed at one size fits all. Received the costume and it did not fit my daughter when she tried it on. On October 20th I called to arrange for a return, but was told that the item could not be returned which was not visible to me on the website. I informed customer service that was not fair and the online process goes so quickly it was impossible to notice any notice that it could not be returned. I was told I could exchange it instead. So they sent me a return label and gave me fun bucks (credit) to use for the exchange. I purchased another costume on October 20, 2020 (Ghost Costume) and sent back the Bunny Costume on October 21st and it was received by them on October 27th (tracking information is provided). It took them weeks to process the return of the bunny costume but I finally received an email on November 20th that they processed the bunny return. Maybe someone at the store wore the costume during that month long delay and got pet hair on it? On November 21st I received an email from paypal with a charge from Halloween Costumes that they charged me $54.99 AGAIN!. I called and spoke with Julie on Thursday, November 20th and she informed me that there was a pet hair on the costume and that's why they charged me. I asked that the manager call me. She never called. I called again on November 21st and asked to speak to the manager and instead Jennifer said she emailed the manager and was waiting to hear back. I called back twice and no information. She told me the manager was at lunch at 1pm and would she would get back to me. I called back around 3pm and no response from the manager. Jennifer promised I would hear back by EOB on Friday. No call from her or the manager Justine.

We ordered Halloween costumes on Oct. 5th. They were expected to arrive within 4-7 days. I checked the status multiple times when I started to worry. It said they were coming soon, then shortly and today is 10/21 so I checked again - still not shipped. I called customer service because online chat was not available. I waited TWO HOURS to speak with someone on a static line who completely lacked customer service skills - multiple times I had to ask if she was still there. She looked up my order and told me an item was out of stock. I never received notification of that from my order. I asked to cancel and request a full refund and told her I wasn't hanging up until I received confirmation. Static and silence for several minutes - I had to keep asking if she was still there. Now, my kids do not have costumes for a party they are going to tomorrow. Awful. The only reason I ordered from them was because I could use Amazon pay and thought since Amazon is a trusted big business my purchase would be easy. Never again will I order from Halloweencostumes.com. Horrible experience.

On Sunday 10/16/2022, I placed an order with Halloweencostumes.com. The order number was provided at the time of purchase. These items were needed for my son's Halloween Party on Friday 10/21/2022. The order contained my son's Halloween costumes, some face paint, and some decorations they picked out to hang up for the party. After not hearing anything, I reached out to the customer service line and was informed by a representative that the order was held up due to a missing item. She canceled the missing item and assured me it would go out for delivery on Thursday 10/20/22. Later that evening, I contacted customer service again because of an error I was receiving for the tracking number. Another representative confirmed that the order was set to be shipped and delivered by Thursday 10/20/22 but could not provide a tracking number. I finally received a tracking number later that evening, but the delivery was scheduled for Friday. The customer service department was closed, and I could not speak with them. I reached out to the shipping company and was told because they missed the cutoff time, it would not arrive in time for when it was needed. I had to leave work early that day to pick the items up at the customer care center in time for the party. When I received the order, I checked its contents and, to my surprise, the 'missing item' was in the box, however, one of the decorations was broken due to poor packaging. This whole experience with Halloweencostumes.com has made me question if I will ever do business with them again. I believe they acted in bad faith, by telling me one thing, then doing something completely opposite.

Order placed on 10/13 paid for 3 day express shipping. On 10/24 I contacted company regarding not receiving the package and did not hear back. I called again on 10/25 and waited on hold for 25 minutes. The service rep tried to tell me that it was still being delivered and then said it was a lost package and *** fault. Taking no responsibility for ruining my childs Halloween.

I purchased a costume, referred to the company’s size guild and my measurements to choose my size, but the dress was too big. I only tried it on, in my bedroom, with clean hands and a makeup free face. Upon seeing it was too big, I immediately packaged it for return. I did not inspect the garment for defects or stains, I just tried it on and repackaged it. I contacted the company about exchanging for a smaller size. They credited me the amount of the dress, which I used to purchase the same dress in a smaller size, and it was perfect. Yesterday my returned dress arrived to them and they charged me for it again. When I contacted customer service to ask them to refund the 2nd charge, they claimed the dress had a stain on it. They sent me a picture, but all I can see are shadows in the fold of the fabric, and I know for a fact I did not stain the dress. if there is a stain there, it was either there already when I got the dress or was out there by the person receiving it. Opening boxes makes hands dirty - how do I know the person taking the return didn’t put a stain on there? It’s my word against theirs, but I know how I handled it when it was in my hands for the 5 minutes I had it, and I know I did not stain it. I feel the company is using its policy as a way to rip off and double charge customers. I have bought multiple costumes and accessories from them in a short time period and would have been a repeat customer for life had I not been screwed over. I want a refund for the 2nd charge. I am not convinced the costume was free from defects when it arrived to me or wasn’t tampered with after return. I know I did not cause any stains to this garment and therefore am not ok with being charged for it. They need to refund me $87.19. They didn’t bother to even tell me anything before charging me, I had to call CS to find anything out. Seems pretty shady to me, leaving buyers no way of preventing them from double charging any returns / exchanges.

Order #*** placed on 9/18/2022 And arrived on 9/22/2022 upon checking the item had a missing adapter. I called customer service and they informed me they couldnt send me a new adapter and instead offered a credit. Gentleman advised I could buy a new one. Said I could return it but I had no way to ship it back because I dont have a vehicle to take it back to the post office. I was able to buy a new adapter but after only having this item up for a week and a half, the item is no longer working. I called customer service and they are refusing to exchange the item. Only option is to give me another $50 dollar credit. I explained to them I only want an exchange and dont want any money back. But their excuse is that because I already used it and received a credit for the missing adapter they wont exchange the item. All I want is an item that works.

I ordered 2 items and one of them does not work. I have spent two days on the phone being in a queue of over 100 people only to be disconnected by the time I was number eight. I tried to chat with them today and when she came on and said hello, I was interrupted and could not type any further and all of a sudden there were no agents available. I do not want to have to pay an 18% restocking fee and I do not want to have to pay the shipping cost to send it back. It simply does not work. I went on the website to start a return, and it says that you cant start a return until the items have received. They dont even show that I receive them and it has to be done within 30 days. Order #

I bought two costumes. Called customer service and told I would get a full 100% refund for the one costume without restocking fee. I didnt get anything back was told I had an initiated refund on 9/30/22. I called customer service and asked for manager and the rep purposelly hung up on me. She told me I needed to call my bank and check for the refund which I told her I did. I have not gotten resolution despite having a string of emails.

HalloweenCostumes Never received my order

Ordered from their website early December 2023. I never received my order and their customer service is terrible. They simply tell you "it's probably been stolen so call your local law enforcement agency, nothing we can do"

I was even willing to pay extra to have a signature required delivery but they apparently can't do that.

No help or alternative resolution offered, they simply do not care.

Do yourself a favor and order from another company. Never again for me

Claimed loss: 75$

Desired outcome: Replacement Order, Cash refund, Store credits, anything would be better than "not our problem"

HalloweenCostumes Service & delivery

Placed 2 separate orders in both I paid extra for an expedite delivery, needless to say the 2 day order was cancelled on the fifth day after I inquired why was late . The second is for a little girl. I paid extra for 3 days delivery, again today is the 7th day and nothing, calling many times i am on customer #140 and so on for three days. They are scammers and instead of using the money for faster shipment they send it by snail mail. Don't use them All of the complaints are about the same reason

HalloweenCostumes Halloween Animatronics

I ordered 2 animatronics, and one does not work...I have been on the phone to CS 3 times for over and hour and a half and then get disconnected. I do not feel I should have to pay an 18% restocking fee when it does not work, but I cannot EVER get thru! I spent 350.00 and it has to be returned within 30 days but I CANNOT get thru to speak to someone!

DO NOT EVER ORDER FROM THEM...I WILL NOT!

Desired outcome: exchange at their shipping cost, not mine!!!

HalloweenCostumes never again!!

Don't make my mistake and never order from them. The pictures on the website have nothing to do with real items. Completely different. And it's a very disappointing fact.
The material is thin and cheap, made of a very rough fabric that's uncomfortable and sometimes painful to wear. 90 dollars for THAT? It's ridiculous. Too overpriced.
Please, don't order from them, avoid at all costs.

HalloweenCostumes non-delivery

We started our preparations for Halloween long before that day because this year we want to be the best in the neighborhood, so we planned a lot.
And we started from ordering costumes for the whole family. The website states that their orders arrive fast, that's why we chose them. But it's now been 2 weeks and nothing arrived. If you meant that waiting for 2 weeks (or more) is fast, you were wrong then. I know we have time and kind of there's nothing to worry about, but we have to do other things, and costumes are just the beginning of our preparations, so we need them first. But I doubt they actually care.

HalloweenCostumes No order and no customer service

I have ordered a costume for an event about three months ago and never received it.
I did not get a confirmation message so I contacted HalloweenCostumes customer service but there was no reply. About two weeks later they finally sent me a confirmation email, but my tracking number was still missing.
All these months I have been trying to get some information regarding my order but no one ever replied. I can't even cancel it without their help!
