On 7/7 i received confirmation of my order for a new generator, the projected ship date was 7/23 even though the unit was listed as "in Stock" with PRE-ORDER ships (est) 7/23. On 7/14 PayPal charged my card for my purchase at FactoryPure. I contacted FactoryPure after seeing the charges hit my card thinking the unit had shipped, i was reminded that this was a PRE-ORDER item and that anticipated ship date was 7/23. On 7/27 i contacted FactoryPure again wonder why i had not received the promised email with shipment tracking. I called at 7.04am west coast time 9:04am for them, i was told they would contact their factory rep and let me know eitherway what to expect, I told them i understood their factory rep was probably on west cost time and that i would be happy to wait time after 8:00am west coast time to get the answer. i was assured i would get a call with whatever information on shipping was available. Well you guessed it, i didn't receive a return call and so at 5:00pm west coast time i called FactoryPure for an update. After near 20 minutes on hold and still being asked if i could hold, i said i had already been on hold, the operator started to take my basic information, when i objected, and wanted the promised information, that is when the operator informed me they where just the answering service, (i spend 30 minutes on hold just to leave a message, time to get a new answering service, if i new the name of that service i would write a review for them) At 9:00am on 7/28 i again called FactoryPure. After answering my call i was placed on hold so the operator could check the status of my request, they keep a record of calls about and order. When the very nice operator came back on the line, she said the manufacturer of the generator was having troubles with their inventory and the new estimated shipdate is now 08/08, at the same time i was on FactoryPure website looking at the same unit i have ordered, the website said "IN STOCK" with PRE-ORDER ships (est) 8/8 . As the operator told me the manufacturer was having trouble with inventory and had a container due in 8/8, i pointed out that their, FactoryPure website said IN STOCK, and then i said "so the IN STOCK" is a lie, and the response was YES it is a lie and it is done so that they can collect payment. I was STUNNED, I could not believe that and operator would admit that contents of the website were a lie. I told the operator i was AMAZED at being told the website was a lie, FRAUD so that they could collect the money. I do not fault FactoryPure for the delay in shipment, the product is made in China and with this Covid thing going on imports from China are being restricted in ways i can imagine, BUT posting a website that has fraudulent information, and then admitting to the lie, i still don't know what to do with this, They offer the product that i want at a fair price, their employees are honest, i guess i wish the company had the integrity of their employees, I will wait for 8/8 and follow-up again, then i will decide whether to test the integrity of the company with trying to cancel the order and get a full refund.
