We have used Plessers for MANY years when we lived on Long Island. It was our go to appliance dealer. We just relocated to Florida and were in the market for a new fridge and we did NOT hesitate to purchase it from Plessers. John D our sales associate was very helpful every step of the way. Although the fridge was back-ordered it actually arrived much sooner than expected. Delivery to Florida was seamless and again, much sooner than anticipated. If you are ever in the market for a major appliance, Plessers should be your go to place. A VERY satisfied customer once again!

An oven was purchased at a local appliance store through a sales representative. The stove was researched before the purchase, and the representative assured it was in stock and would arrive before Thanksgiving. The rep promised a two-week timeframe for pickup at the warehouse. Despite ongoing communication, after five weeks, the stove had not arrived, and the representative stopped returning calls. The representative was dishonest and is now unresponsive. It is advisable to avoid this salesperson and the store, as customer care seems to be lacking.

I have not yet received my order, but *** has provided phenomenal service thus far. After endless frustration with ***, ***, and other appliance retailers, my experience with *** at Plessers has been enormously refreshing and relieving. Furthermore, whereas other retailers have promised they had refrigerators in stock when they did not, and other retailers have promised false delivery dates, Plessers scheduled my shipment within the week.
I ordered a 36 cooktop to replace the same brand, model and size. Plessers delivered a 30 cooktop which obviously would not fit in the 36 cutout. I advised of the problem and they took days to get any response. I eventually got a call from a delivery company saying they had my correct cooktop. They didnt. Now Plessers refuses to talk to me further, to pick up the wrong unit or to refund my money. I will be filing a lawsuit next week seeking return of my money and punitive damages. Dont deal with Plessers. They are crooks.

I had a great experience at Plessers. Emily was the salesperson who helped me pick out beautiful appliances for a kitchen update. Emily had extensive knowledge with all 4 appliances that I ordered. She was very patient and answered all of my many questions. Emily was a "no pressure" salesperson who had great confidence in Plessers appliances which helped me make the right selections for my kitchen. I went with the GE Cafe series and I'm extremely satisfied. Thank you Emily for all of your help and for giving me the lowest possible prices on each appliance! You are and asset to Plessers and I will be back in the future for some more shopping!
Excellent advice regarding replacement of an aged gas dryer. And prompt and friendly placement of order and scheduling of installation. Could not have gone more smoothly.

Ordering my washer & dryer through Plesser's Appliance of Southampton was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. For 39 years, I have worked in the luxury retail industry & have conducted customer service seminars internationally. This Plesser nightmare began back in March.when I decided to convert my coat closet into a washer/dryer space. I went online for price comparisons & was pleasantly surprised to discover that Plesser's had comparable, if not better pricing than the big box stores. My only contact for these past 4 months was with the store manager. Most of my communication with him was by email. His recommendation was an Asko Washer & Dryer. On March 22, I requested pricing including delivery/installation & if they were in stock. He answered my questions & said $349 for delivery/installation. So, I proceeded with my order & he confirmed I should have the washer/dryer by mid-April. On April 19, I asked for an update since I hadn't heard from him in almost a month. He responded that my order had been delayed until May 25. I accepted this new delivery date but wondered why I hadn't been informed. On May 17, I asked for a delivery update. On May 20, I asked for another update (second request) only to be told my order had been pushed back to July 8! I only discovered these new dates because I asked not because the information had been offered to me, the customer. I then asked what is the store's solution for this customer service issue? The manager recommended a GE washer/dryer. When I asked if the dryer could be vented on the side, he sent me an email attachment of the pamphlet to read. I then called the GE representative myself & she assured me that the dryer could be side vented. On June 14, I asked for an update on the GE delivery only to receive an automated email response that he would be out of the office until June 2! Then, on June 15, from Plesser's Customer Support Center, I received an invoice confirmation of $2684.10 all inclusive with a "schedule to ship" date of June 23. Then, on June 21, I received another invoice confirmation from customer support of $2906.77 with no explanation of the difference. On June 24, I sent an email to the store manager, marketing department, & customer service asking why there was a difference of $222.67 between the 2 invoices. On June 28 the store manager responded: "we had to add items to complete the installation." with no further explanation. When I went through the invoice line by line, the installation/delivery totaled $400, $50 over his original quote back in March. Also, there was a $55 charge for an "exhaust cover plate". I sent an email request asking for an explanation of this charge since I already had a cover plate installed. As of this date, I am still waiting for his reply. On July 9, from customer service, I received an announcement of their appliance sale and guess what? My washer & dryer were included in the sale $531.80 less than I paid! So I sent an email to marketing, customer service, & the store manager asking for a price adjustment since only 2 weeks had elapsed since my installation. No response. Then on July 14, I sent a second request to the same 3 (marketing, customer service, & the store manager) with the manager's response: "once the appliances are installed, we do not offer price adjustments". Moral of this story - do not buy your appliances at Plesser's!

Based on Consumer Reports recommendation, we decided to purchase both an LG fridge and Bosch dishwasher from Plesser's Appliance as their on-line prices were very competitive. Thank you John D. for the awesome sales advice. Although final delivery did take ~3 weeks, understandably due to both products coming from NY to Los Angeles with Covid-19 not helping. AM Transportation Logistics guys were on-time and careful getting the fridge up 2 flights of stairs into our condo. We discovered a few minor issues with the fridge but Laury A. took excellent care of us reaching an acceptable resolution. Plesser's Appliance is highly recommended -Thank you once again!

Don't buy if the item has to be shipped outside of NY. Our items shipped from Plesser's and took 22 days to arrive. Furthermore, Plesser's shipping partner wouldn't respond to inquiries, and Plesser's provided little assistance. THEN, it got worse. When the shipping company finally arrived (at 9:45 PM), they didn't have a dolly. So all they claimed to be able to do was leave the refrigerator in our garage -- even though we paid extra to Plesser's for "gold" installation. Plesser's provided NO assistance in the matter. The little money we saved was more than eaten up by the cost of having to have another company come to install it, not to mention the headache of having to deal with them and their shipping company. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM PLESSERS AGAIN NO MATTER THE PRICE.

Highly recommend Plesser's for your appliance purchase. They have great deals regularly as well as certain manufacturer package deals for additional discounts. I feel you do get a better source of reviews on appliances that you search for. The direct feedback from customers as well as hearing from service repairmen help in deciding what to eventually purchase. Of course, there is no excuse for not doing your homework, ultimately the deciding factor is reliability. Even though the saying of "They don't make them like they used to" may hold true, I find there are enough choices and styles to fit all our tastes and eventually improve all those bells and whistles that they offer to be much more reliable like in the old days. I thank and highly recommend my sales person Emily D. for helping me with my purchases as well as the rest of the Plesser's staff for a very smooth and pleasurable experience.

I'm dedicating these words to some place where shop is a Pleaser, Some day, about 10 years ego I was making a search to find quotes for my kitchen and laundry appliances, and per surprise I found Plessers, in that moment Plessers hit the lowest prices in the internet, and yesterday 10 years after I was asking for the first seller person to by a new refrigerator, because the original seller person was super polite and dedicated whit me, but another person pick up my call and took my order, 10 year after again I felt the same courtesy, the same good attention and over all the things the same HONESTY. At this time when we close the deal and pay for the total price for my refrigerator, a few hours after of the final transaction I received a notification in my phone from the bank, Plassers was trying to withdrawal the money from my credit card, and another extra $50.00 had been collected from my account. When I see that notification I thought that something wrong was occurred but in the bottom I was peaceful. Then we I check my email inbox the first notice was the seller person giving to me the excuses for that mistake. The $50.00 has been refunded to my account. Again for me Plesser is a store when shop is a plaser but where the HONESTY is its great voice
Absolutely horrible customer service
Absolutely horrible customer service. We purchased a Blue Star stove from Robert in Southampton. We paid for the conversion to be done. We used it for a few months after calling a service company to come look at it twice because of the horrible smell we would get when using it. We were assured that it was converted and was told it was new stove smell. We had a second service company come and we were told it was never converted. So our $400 set of copper pots are now burnt. Our brand new cabinets are burnt as well as the inside and outside of the oven. No one at the main office ( Joleen ) will return our calls or Robert at the showroom in Southampton. They reimbursed us for the $453 for the conversion and replaced the doors, but not the $995 we paid out of pocket to have service company come, nor have they sent anyone to clean the ovens or send us new grates. Now.. our ovens are not working correctly and are off by 75 degrees and no one will call us back to help us. We paid a lot of money for this stove and only want it working as a brand new stove should. This has been going on since June this year 2020. We are now in December and still do not have this resolved. We will never ever purchase a appliance from this company again nor will we ever recommend them. If we could give them zero stars we would. -

My review is mixed. Let me start by saying that I have dealt with Plesser's over the years and would not hesitate to return. They have a long established and well deserved solid reputation. I purchased a new LG washer. It was defective from the first day. I was advised by Plesser's to call the LG factory. After a couple of 45 minute phone call holds, finally reached a rep. He talked me through the initial repair fixes, which I performed. Advised me to try washer again and call back for a service call if it was still not fixed. All of this was time consuming and annoying, but no one's fault. Washer still not fixed. Called factory again, more time on hold, eventually they said they would email me to set up a service call. I waited a week and called again. They informed me that "no one was available to come and do the repair". Seriously? That was their answer! Could not reach Plesser's customer service. Waited twice, over one hour each time. Finally went in person to Babylon. Spoke to Joseph who was very helpful. I told him I wanted a new washer. No problem he said, but my washer was not in stock. This is why I dealt with Plesser's. They will do the right thing and replace the washer. Joseph will have Jill from Customer Service call me. Jill called the very next day and was very helpful and agreed to replace washer. Advised me that my original Salesperson, Emily, would call me. Before Emily called, I went on the Plesser website to check on their in-stock washers so that I'd be prepared for Emily's call. I chose a washer that was about $240 more that the one I originally purchased. Emily called and I told her I was interested in a Whirlpool washer this time, due to the poor customer service of LG. She said the only one available was Model --- and that it was $450 more than I had originally spent. This is where my review is less than great. After all of the aggravation I had encountered over three weeks time just trying to buy a new washer, it seemed Emily was trying to upsell me a large amount of money by saying the only in stock washer was Model ---. When I asked her about the availability of the one I had seen on the website prior to her call, she agreed that model was in stock and available. I would pay an additional $240. I felt as though I was being taken advantage of at a time that, if anything, I should have been given a price break, instead of a large upsell. Otherwise, I am happy with the service I received from Plesser's, happy with the customer service from Jill, who made the transaction very easy, and happy (finally) with my new washer.

I placed my appliance order online at Plessers on 3--2020. I have contacted them once a month for almost a year by either phone, email or website complaint ticket and still do not have my order or any contact for resolution. They did ship part of my order in October after my repeated complaints, but I am still missing a cooktop. I ordered these appliances in March well before I needed them because I had custom cabinets made. My cabinet maker suggested that I actually purchase the appliances in advance so that we wouldn't build to suite and then not be able to get appliances. A year later here I sit, with exactly that problem. We are supposed to move into our new home and can't until this is resolved.

I purchased a Jenn air downdraft stove from Plessers
I purchased a Jenn air downdraft stove from Plessers. It was delivered on 05--20. When it was ready to be installed it was found to have a completely different motor and exhaust system. I have owned two Jenn air downdraft stoves prior and they both had the same motor and exhaust system. I live in Florida and my home is built on a cement slab. If I used the new system I would have to have major construction done to my cement floor to include busting the cement. I sent and email to the company and was refused a refund. It was stated in the refusal letter all specifications are sent before the item leaves the warehouse. That is true but there was nothing indicating the venting system style has changed. When the stove was delivered I was told by the delivery person to keep the original box to return it if I had a problem. This issue is not a measurement problem its an issue of no indication of the new style motor and venting and the major construction that has to be done to my home.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.

Ordered appliances from plessers that nobody else had shipped from *** to *** in the amount of time they stated it would take. There was a ding and one of the side panels I was concerned that it was going to be a problem to get it resolved. They reached out to me before I could even call them and resolve the issue very satisfied with the results. Usually most companies ignore problems or make a very difficult deal with plessers was a pleasure

We purchased an Elica cooktop from Plessers. The price was the best I could find. Shipping was nearly flawless. There was a minor issue with a fragile ceramic filter which arrifed cracked, the customer service guy took care of it and a new part arrived two days After Elica finished review of the issue. The entire experience was wonderful. Plessers appears to be run like a family business!
