Worst Company ever.
I have tried endlessly to contact Whirlpool Canada. The first time I dialed LG by mistake and spoke with someone immediately. Unfortunately it was the wrong company. When I did call Whirlpool I held for 28 minutes to talk to a man for 10 seconds and was told he would need to transfer me. After holding for 30 more minutes I hung up and tried to reach Whirlpool USA. For some reason it would only contact Canada. There is no reaching Whirlpool to get any help. NEVER, EVER BUY WHIRLPOOL. I did not even want to give them one star. As a side note I was just at Home Depot and talked a couple into buying LG and not the Whirlpool washer and dryer they were looking at.
Recommendation: NEVER EVER BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS.
Terrible Service and Frustration: My Experience with Whirlpool Canada
This company, Whirlpool Canada, is not the best to deal with. The technician I dealt with was not very helpful. My fridge stopped working and it took him two whole weeks to figure out that it couldn't be fixed. He tried replacing three different boards and a compressor, but it didn't work. Then he disappeared for three weeks and when he finally came back, he told me that my fridge was no good. Now I'm still waiting for a replacement and it's been a whole week. Whirlpool says they sent it out, but I haven't received anything yet.
I'm really frustrated with this whole situation. I wish there was something I could do to make them pay for their terrible service, but I don't know what to do. This is definitely the worst company I've ever dealt with. Even their customer service is terrible. Everyone I talked to had a bad attitude, from the regular staff to the management. It's really disgusting.
I hope that Whirlpool Canada can improve their service in the future. It's not fair to treat customers this way. I just want my fridge to be fixed or replaced as soon as possible.
Mixed Experience with Whirlpool Canada: Great Appliances, Poor Customer Service
Yo, so I gotta say, my experience with Whirlpool Canada has been a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand, they got some pretty sweet appliances that I've been eyeing for a while now. But on the other hand, their customer service ain't exactly top notch.
I mean, I tried calling their hotline and let me tell ya, the hold music was straight up torture. I had to listen to that garbage for what felt like hours before I finally gave up and decided to hit up their customer service team through private message.
They did respond pretty quick though, so I'll give 'em that. But even after I gave 'em all my info, I still haven't heard back from anyone. Like, come on Whirlpool Canada, I just wanna know what's up with my oven (model number YKESS907SS00, serial number XU***). Is that too much to ask?
Overall, I'd say Whirlpool Canada's got some work to do when it comes to their customer service game. But hey, if you're willing to put up with some hold music and a bit of waiting, their appliances are definitely worth checking out.
Whirlpool Canada's Poor Customer Service and Defective Products: A Warning to Buyers
Horrible Customer Service and Faulty Product: Our Experience with Whirlpool Canada
We bought a dishwasher from Whirlpool Canada in April 2022 and got it installed by a pro in May 2022. But, within a month, the face plate started bubbling, and we couldn't use the buttons at all. It was dead and useless. We were lucky that it was under warranty, so we contacted them to fix it. But, they tried to "fix" the machine five times, and it was still having the same issues. We had to wait for six months without the appliance we paid for. It was frustrating, and we had to use lawyer language like "Time is of the essence" to get them to act. Finally, they installed a new dishwasher on November 30, 2022.
However, the dishwasher died again on March 6, 2023, in the exact same way as it did last May. We went online to contact Whirlpool Canada, and a bot named Pearl claimed to be a person and tried to charge us money on a credit card to "speak to the expert." We said no, and Pearl said we were rude and ended the chat. We don't want to spend another eight weeks talking to Whirlpool Canada representatives who live in Texas, Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. It's not cool, Whirlpool Canada.
We just want our money back, and we'll buy elsewhere. Your customer service is brutal, and we don't want to deal with it anymore. We hope you can improve your service and make your customers happy.
Disappointing Experience with Whirlpool Canada: Warranty and Registration Issues
I recently ordered a product from Whirlpool Canada and it took a whopping 3 months to receive it. I understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has caused some delays, so I didn't have any issues with that. However, I was disappointed to find out that the warranty starts from the purchase date, not the date of receipt. I was considering returning the product, but I decided to reach out to their chat line first. The representative assured me that they would make the warranty effective from the date I received the product. She took all my information and said she would register it for me.
However, 11 days later, I decided to check on the registration and to my dismay, it was not registered! I had to re-register it, but there was no place for comments. So, I put down the date I received it, but now I'm worried that they won't honor it. My recommendation to others is to make a copy of the chatline conversation and verify within a couple of days that everything is in order.
Another issue I had with Whirlpool Canada was that in order to register the product, I was forced to agree to terms that I knew nothing about when I purchased the product. I couldn't see how it would be any different in the United States. I felt like I was being forced to agree to something without knowing what it was. The terms can be found at https://whirlpoolcorp.com/legal-notice/ and https://www.whirlpoolcorp.com/privacy-notice-united-states-and-canada/. So, buyers beware!
Overall, I was disappointed with my experience with Whirlpool Canada. The delays in receiving the product were understandable, but the issues with the warranty and registration process were frustrating. I hope they can improve their processes in the future to make it easier for customers to register their products and receive the full benefits of the warranty.
Terrible Experience with Whirlpool Canada and CAS - Stay Away!
My new dryer from Whirlpool Canada is a complete disaster. It makes a loud, unbearable sqreaching sound that makes it impossible to use. I reached out to CAS for help, but they were no help at all. They refused to let me speak to a manager and gave me a lot of attitude. Whirlpool offered to send a different technician after the first one cancelled on me, but they only contacted the same one who refused to do his job once again. He then contacted another technician from a different company (also outsourced by Whirlpool) who was supposed to confirm the rescheduled appointment. But I never received a call, text, or email from them.
When I finally spoke to a manager from Whirlpool, she was not very helpful either. All she could do was offer to send me $50 in the mail for the work day I missed and the other I will need to miss for the next appointment - if any technician is willing to do their job. It's clear that no one is taking responsibility for this issue. Once they have your money, they don't care about anything else.
I asked for a video call appointment, but they refused. They also refused to reimburse me for the work days I've had to miss. It's really frustrating to deal with these companies. I would advise everyone to stay away from Whirlpool and Canadian Appliance Source. They are both scammers!
Unsatisfactory Warranty and Customer Service Experience with Whirlpool Canada
I bought a new oven from Whirlpool Canada on January 3, 2023, for over $1800. However, on April 15, 2023, while wiping out the oven after using the aqua clean, I noticed a 3+ cm chip out of the side of the oven. I have only used this rack position once, and I am not rough on equipment. The chip doesn't even align with the rack, so it's not like the rack could have caused it. I called the local store where I bought it, and they sent a repair tech to look at it. The tech had to stay in our kitchen on hold with Whirlpool until they answered the phone. Finally, the tech was given a file number and told that the 'customer' must contact Whirlpool.
I found the process to be very unfriendly and not user-friendly at all, and I'm not tech-challenged. When I contacted Whirlpool, they denied warranty, stating that it was 'cosmetic' and they wouldn't warranty 'cosmetic' after 30 days. I find it hard to believe that a 3-month-old, very lightly used oven should be chipping. How is this chipping 'cosmetic' and not defective material/workmanship? If you research, you'll find that this is a very commonly reported consumer complaint. I guarantee that this will be rusting soon. Would Whirlpool employees or executives think this is acceptable if it were theirs? I doubt it. Chips and rust in your food anyone?
I find their policy to get around a known issue to be horrible, and their customer service is even worse. It's robbery. I would not recommend buying from Whirlpool Canada.
Terrible Customer Service Experience with Whirlpool Fridge Purchase from whirlpool.ca
I just gotta say, I bought a Whirlpool Fridge from whirlpool.ca at the end of June and it's been a real headache. First, they told me it was on backorder and I had to wait a whole month for it. Then, after only two weeks, it stopped working and I had to throw out a bunch of food that went bad. So, I reached out to Canadian Appliance Source (CAS) for an exchange or refund, but they said it would take two business days to process. After two days, I just got an email telling me to call Whirlpool because of Covid.
So, I called the number they gave me, but I couldn't talk to a real person. Instead, I had to go on their website and chat with multiple employees. The last person I talked to was named "Kodjo" and I asked for a refund, but they said they don't do refunds. They said they could send a tech to see if it's fixable and if it's not, then they'll send a replacement product or a refund. But the earliest someone could come is next Monday, which is more than a week since I first complained to CAS.
I asked Kodjo to speak with a senior manager or director, but they said they couldn't escalate and told me to call the same number that sent me back to the website. And then, in the middle of typing to have someone call me, Kodjo just disconnected from the chat!
I mean, come on, Whirlpool. Is this really how you treat your customers? I hope someone on your team takes this seriously and gives me a call at XXX XXXX. This has been a frustrating and expensive experience and there's been zero accountability. If you really care about your customers and their experience, you'll do something about this.
Whirlpool Canada's Lack of Customer Service and Compassion for Faulty Product
I purchased an over the range hood from Whirlpool Canada about a year ago and it was working perfectly until just over a week ago when it caught on fire. I was shocked and scared as I had my children and pets at home. The fire was not caused by the food inside, but by the wheel attached to the mechanism that makes the glass table turn. I immediately booked an appointment with Whirlpool's service person to confirm if it was a safety issue or user fault. However, the technician never showed up on June 2nd and didn't even bother to call me. They just rescheduled my appointment to a week later from 8 am to 4 pm, which was inconvenient for me as I have a job and cannot be available during those hours.
I was frustrated and disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service from Whirlpool Canada. I called their customer service and spoke to a lady who was willing to give me a Friday morning appointment, but she wanted me to speak with a manager first as she was upset with what had happened. However, the manager was not helpful at all and did nothing to resolve my issue. He refused to offer me a Friday appointment and only gave me the same Monday appointment from 8 am to 4 pm. I live in Canada, and we are in complete lockdown, so I offered to send photos or do a zoom call, but they refused to accommodate me.
To make matters worse, a company I didn't give my personal information to called me and said they won't be able to come until June 14th, while I have a fire hazard still in my home. Whirlpool insisted that the product needs to stay in place, which is unacceptable. I'm disappointed with their lack of compassion and customer service. This product almost burnt my house down, and they are not doing anything to work with me.
I will be leaving reviews everywhere I can to reflect Whirlpool's poor customer service and lack of compassion. As a Canadian, I should have been allowed to speak with a Canadian operator, but I was refused this. I spoke to a manager named Maxime from Michigan, and he did absolutely nothing to resolve my issue. He proved why I will never buy another Whirlpool product and why I will make sure everyone I know and who will listen to me knows that their products are unsafe for a family home.
In conclusion, I'm extremely disappointed with Whirlpool Canada's customer service and lack of compassion. They need to get their act together and take responsibility for their faulty products. I hope they will take this feedback seriously and improve their customer service in the future.
Whirlpool Fridge Water Dispenser: A Never-Ending Problem
I gotta say, I bought my first house back in June of 2020, right when the COVID pandemic was starting to hit hard. All the appliances in my new home were Whirlpool, which I thought was pretty cool. But from day one, the water dispenser on my fridge wasn't working. I told the builder about it during the supervision, and they said it might just be a filter that needed to be replaced. So I tried that, but it didn't work. I put in a service request, and the first technician found that there was some ice build-up in the water line that was stopping the water from coming out. They got rid of the ice, and the water dispenser worked for the first time in six months. But the technician warned me that it might happen again. And sure enough, within two months, the dispenser stopped working again.
The second technician was just as surprised as the first to find ice build-up in the water line. They couldn't figure out why it was happening, so they warned me that it would probably happen again. I was getting pretty frustrated by this point, especially since the one-year warranty was almost up. I talked to Coast Appliance about my concerns, and they told me to contact Whirlpool directly.
Whirlpool said that since it was an existing problem that had persisted through the warranty, they would repair it even if it happened again after the warranty was up. But a few weeks later, the problem came back. The third technician told me that the problem might be with the insulation during manufacturing, which meant that the unit was unrepairable. I was pretty upset by this point, so I called Whirlpool on February 24th, 2022. But when I talked to customer service, they told me that they could only give me 15% off if I wanted to buy another fridge within the next 30 days. I was so disappointed. I felt like I had been given a faulty appliance, and Whirlpool had run out the clock on the warranty knowing that just removing the ice from the water line wasn't going to fix the underlying issue.
I really hope that Whirlpool sees this post and gets back to me about this issue. I think it's important for companies to stand behind their products and make things right when they go wrong.

Disappointed with Whirlpool Canada's Customer Service and Warranty Coverage
I bought a Maytag stove from Whirlpool Canada 4 years ago and got a 5-year warranty. But after 3 and a half years, the steam from the stove started damaging the top panel. I was told that the warranty doesn't cover it and that I should contact Whirlpool directly because it was a manufacturer defect. But let me tell you, it's been a real struggle to get a hold of anyone at Whirlpool about this. I've been on the phone for hours on countless occasions, but it seems impossible to get through to them.
I mean, come on Whirlpool, what's the deal? I paid good money for this stove and the warranty, and now I'm left with a damaged appliance and no help in sight. It's frustrating to say the least. I just want someone to take responsibility for this and help me out.
Overall, I'm disappointed with my experience with Whirlpool Canada. It's not just the issue with my stove, but the lack of customer service and support that's really getting to me. I hope they can step up their game and provide better service to their customers in the future.
Disappointing Experience with Whirlpool Canada Appliances and Customer Service
Whirlpool Canada is not a good company and their appliances are not good either. We've had problems with our washer and dryer since we got them. They're only about 2 years old, but the warranty is already expired. Now, we have to pay to get them fixed even though they haven't worked properly since day 1. The washer gets stuck and runs for hours, and the dryer does the same thing. It will increase the time to the max in the middle of a load, even if no one touches it. The customer service is no help at all. I don't think I'll ever buy another Whirlpool appliance again.
Terrible Service: Technician Failed to Fix Stove Top and Refund Denied
Service was terrible. Had a technician come to fix my stove top, but it didn't work. Two hours after he left, it was broken again. I had to fix it myself. The technician was nice though, when I talked to him he said I should call the 1-800 number for a refund. But when I called, they didn't help at all. They just kept saying the same thing over and over again, that the service was scheduled and wouldn't let me talk to anyone higher up. I ended up paying for nothing and had a really bad experience.

Whirlpool Canada's Warranty Service: A Frustrating Experience
My dishwasher stopped working and I called Whirlpool Canada to book an appointment under warranty. They said they would send someone to fix it, but it's been two months and the part is still backordered. They keep saying sorry, but there's nothing they can do. I asked them how it's possible to order the same part on Amazon and get it the next day, but they can't seem to get it for their own product. They just keep saying sorry and telling me to wait. I'm really frustrated and disappointed with Whirlpool Canada. I wouldn't recommend buying any of their appliances if this is how they treat their customers.
Poor Customer Service and Lack of Follow-Up from Whirlpool Canada for Faulty Stove
I recently purchased a stove from Whirlpool Canada and unfortunately, after only 5 months of use, I noticed a burning spot on the plate where I cook. I immediately contacted Whirlpool and was told that a technician would come and fix the issue. However, after waiting for some time, the technician never called or showed up.
Feeling frustrated, I called Whirlpool again and after several attempts, I was finally able to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor informed me that Breault & Martineau store would soon deliver a new stove to replace the faulty one. However, after waiting for a month, I still had not received any calls or updates from either Whirlpool or Breault & Martineau.
I decided to call Breault & Martineau again, but unfortunately, they had not received any information from Whirlpool regarding the replacement stove. As a 77-year-old, I am very tired and this experience has been very stressful for me. I am still under warranty and I am not sure what to do next.
Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of communication and follow-up from Whirlpool Canada. As a loyal customer, I expected better service and support. I hope that Whirlpool can rectify this situation and provide me with a new stove as soon as possible.
Terrible Customer Service: My Experience with Whirlpool Canada
Whirlpool Canada is not a good company to deal with. Their customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in Canada. It's really bad. Our fridge is less than a year old and it hasn't been working for over two months now. We have had six technician visits so far and we have made ten calls to customer care. But the fridge is still not cooling. When we call customer care, they always say "our hands are tied, you need to wait for the next technician". It's frustrating because we feel like there is no way out of this situation. We may have to hire a local technician or throw away this Whirlpool fridge. The quality of their products is poor and their service is even worse.
Disappointed with Whirlpool Canada's Fridge - Broken After 2 Months
So, I had a problem with my fridge from Whirlpool Canada (whirlpool.ca) last week. The compressor just stopped working. I bought the fridge only 2 months ago and now I've been without a fridge for over a week. It's really frustrating. The service guy came and told me that there's no one who can fix it right now because it's a newer model and it needs a different kind of refrigerant. I paid $2400 for this fridge and now it's broken. I don't know when or if it can be fixed. I'm really disappointed with the product and the company. I thought Whirlpool was supposed to be good at making appliances.
Disappointed with Whirlpool: Broken Dishwasher and Poor Customer Service
I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher from whirlpool.ca in May 2022, and it broke down in June! I was so disappointed and frustrated with the situation. I contacted Whirlpool customer service, and they told me that the part needed to fix the dishwasher was on back-order, and they couldn't give me an expected date for when it would be available. It's already approaching August 2022, and I'm still waiting for the part.
I must say that I'm not happy with Whirlpool's response to my situation. They seem unwilling to do anything other than tell me to wait. It's been a month since my dishwasher broke down, and I'm still without a working dishwasher. I regret having spent my hard-earned money on this lousy product that only lasted for a month. Shame on you, Whirlpool!
I'm so disappointed with Whirlpool that I've decided never to buy from them again. I'll also make it my life's mission to tell everyone I know about my terrible experience with Whirlpool. I strongly advise anyone looking to buy a dishwasher to avoid this brand at all costs.
I hope Whirlpool takes this feedback seriously and improves its customer service and product quality. As a consumer, I expect better from a brand like Whirlpool.
Disappointing Experience with Whirlpool Canada: Broken Washer and Poor Customer Service
I recently purchased the Whirlpool Canada washer model WFW3090JW, but unfortunately, it broke down in just six months. I was disappointed, to say the least. I scheduled an appointment with a technician, but they did not show up on the appointment date. Instead, I received a quick call from them, stating that they were waiting for parts. I was frustrated that there was no follow-up call from the technician, so I had to call the services desk myself. To my surprise, I found out that the technician never ordered the new part!
The services desk informed me that the part would be delivered in two or three days, and they would inform me when it arrived. However, a week passed, and I still had not received a call. I called back, but no one knew where the part was. There was no tracking number, and I was left unsure if my washer would be repaired before the new year or ever repaired at all!
I understand that things can go wrong, but the lack of communication and follow-up from Whirlpool Canada was frustrating. I hope that they can improve their customer service in the future, as it would make a big difference for customers like me who rely on their products.
Horrible Customer Service and Faulty Product: My Experience with Whirlpool Canada
I gotta say, I ain't too happy with Whirlpool Canada. I bought one of their fridges a few months back and it's been nothing but trouble. The dang thing is squealing and thumping and making all sorts of horrid noises. I had a technician come in to take a look, but because he ain't a Whirlpool technician, they're making him come back and talk to their technician on the phone before they'll do anything about it. And get this, if the fridge ain't making the noises when he comes back, they won't do a darn thing! Can you believe that? I even showed them videos of the noises coming from my fridge, but they're calling me a liar and saying it's normal. What a bunch of baloney!
Let me tell you, their customer service is the worst I've ever seen. They used to be a top brand, but now they're just a cheap product with horrific customer service. I wouldn't recommend buying from Whirlpool if you want a fridge that actually works and a company that actually cares about their customers. Save yourself the headache and go with a different brand.
