Uniden R7 Radar Detector
Terrible radar detector products, physically. I would imagine this is happening to all of the radar detectors they sell, with this design. I own an R7, which I paid many hundreds of dollars. They will not sell me a $2 plastic piece that holds the detector to the windshield. They want to scalp me for a $100 repair. From a customer service point of view, I would have just asked for my address and sent one for free. One stamp and a $2 part. THAT would be superb customer service...but no, they do NOT support their products. I will buy the Valentine One next time...ANYTHING but Uniden. You should do the same.

UM 435 VHF radio
I bought the radio last year, I only used it twice in 2020. The radio will not transmit, we checked all of the cables put a new cable on checked the antenna did all the troubleshooting, and it will still not transmit. So my husband went online to check the reviews on this particular model and it has terrible reviews and he's having the same troubles that the reviews are addressing on this. My husband called unit in at one [protected] and talk to a guy name Mark and he sounded lost he was no help at all. Need someone from your corporate office in customer service to give us a call at [protected] ASAP my husbands name is Chuck thank you

Uniden seems totlly unavailable to customers with problems! My extension cordless phones all started having their red light on their bases constantly blinking. I tried everything I found on their common questions site, plus searching google on line. Then I phoned uniden's customer service, where there is no one to talk to. After that, I went to uniden's website and sent an email describing my problem. No reply from them, so two more times I sent emails again. Still no reply. I am amazed that they seem inaccessible to my customer need for help. I will be unlikely to replace my phones with the uniden brand again!
