Today I received a phone call that my phone labeled 'SCAM LIKELY', so I declined the call and sent it to voicemail. Immediately, the phone rang again, from the same number. I again declined the call. The third time the phone rang in a 2 minute period, I thought maybe it was someone that I knew that was calling from a strange number because it was an emergency, so I answered the phone. I was wrong. It was Q E with Family First. He proceeded into a high pressure sales pitch for mortgage insurance, complete by citing incorrect information about my mortgage, but the correct address. I told him that 1) the information he had was incorrect, and 2) I was not interested. He proceeded to ask me questions. I answered his questions and when I tired of conversation, I told him that I was not interested and I hung up. Approximately 2 and a half hours later, I receive another phone call from a different number. It was Quinton. Sitting in my driveway. He said something to the effect of, "Where are you? I'm sitting in your driveway and there is a big dog. What do you want me to do?" I told him I wanted him to leave my property at once. I asked why he was even there. He stated that during our earlier phone call he said that he would be out to my home at 12:00 to do some sort of quote. I told him that a) he never said such a thing, and b) I would have never agreed to it because I am at work, and c) I would have never agreed to it because as I told him on the phone, I was not interested in purchasing mortgage insurance. That is some high-pressure sales - repeated immediate phone calls when the first ones are sent to voicemail, and then when the guy comes unannounced to your house. Not a big fan of Family First for these reasons.

I received a phone call this morning from a gentleman claiming he worked with Family First Life. He told me that my application had just come across his desk from myself and that he was calling to follow up about it. The home in question is one that I have not had a mortgage on in YEARS nor have I lived there in some time! When I asked him what the company was again and his name, he became defensive. I told him I was confused as to why someone was reaching out to me now when I don't even own the property anymore and he claims that they had been trying to reach me several times (this is the first time I had even heard of this company). I am unsure if they are legitimate or are fishing for information, but please be cautious! There should be no reason someone is reaching out about a property that the mortgage/deed was transferred years ago to someone else...

Amazing. My agent was thorough, professional, efficient and helpful. I appreciated that I had options considering she's a broker and worked with many different companies. She kept up with contacting me on a monthly basis. I'm happy with their insurance company I chose. I'm very grateful that I don't need to worry about this important security for my family. Thank you

I do not have a policy with this company but one of their agents, selim m*** in *** is responsible for selling my refinance information to those known scammers who spam your mail box with "final notice" letters for mortgage life insurance. His name is at the bottom of the most recent one. I have a picture. Also, I've noticed in prior reviews that this HQ does not actually take responsibility for the actions of its affiliates so I've also filed a complaint with the insurance commission.

Back in August I mailed in a card seeking information for mortgage life insurance. On January 10th I got a text from James W claiming to be a Field Underwriter wanting to do an in home visit with my wife and I. I informed James we are not meeting with anyone during the Covid 19 pandemic, but would be happy to meet via Zoom. James denies there is even a pandemic. I advised him we are not interested and thank him for reaching out. He says wow and good bye. Beware of this company because they do not take the pandemic seriously.

Got a mailer not too long ago and it was made to look like it was from my bank that holds my mortgage. Said it could sell me insurance on protecting my mortgage in case of death and there was a way to get all my premiums (very strange). I filled out my name and number and today I got a call from a Derek D. Said he had to come to my house to make sure I was not terminally ill or was hooked up to an oxygen tank or something like that and that we could talk in the garage (very strange). Set up a meeting and after we hung up I researched his company and found out that this is just another MLM company selling "questionable insurance" with some bad reviews online along with a lot of people saying "proceed with caution." his company is mainly about recruiting people into their company and having them sell this "insurance." Called him back to cancel my appointment and he became very rude and irate. Told him I did not appreciate the deceptive practice with the mailer and he immediately blamed a "third party vendor" that sends them out and he buys leads from. I told him to shred my info and he sarcastically said, "I don't have a shredder so looks like I'm going to hang on to it and file it away." BE CAREFUL OF THIS COMPANY AND IT'S "SALES PEOPLE!"

Got a call from a person representing this company after i filled out an interest card. They stated they were calling to assist me with my "GOVERNMENT REQUIRED" mortgage life insurance policy. I asked her to repeat that, and she did. I then informed her that not only am I a licensed Life Insurance Agent, I have also taught Life Insurance licensing courses. I told her that was an illegal, misleading and incorrect statement. She then says "whatever" and hangs up on me. This company is scamming people into purchasing life insurance.

Rob R with Family First Life is not to be trusted. He said the information for mortgage protection was to verify qualification and finance check. Be for I agreed to purchase anything he charged the maximum of $326.80 to my bank account. He had no right or permission to do so. I had to call my bank and dispute the charge and sign paperwork ti reject anything future from him company (to the cost of $30). He tried to justify his actions with more lies and false statements. My wife and I were friendly and nice, but I let my guard down and he took advantage. he lied, cheated and basically scammed me. He and his company should not be trusted. One star is to much.

Family First Life An agent from a company I don't have a policy with sold my refinance info

I don't hold a policy with this firm, but their agent, Selim M., based in an undisclosed location, is selling my refinance data to notorious spammers. They send 'final notice' letters for mortgage life insurance, and Selim's name is on the latest one. I have photographic evidence. Previous reviews suggest the HQ doesn't own up to its affiliates' deeds, so I've complained to the insurance commission.
