absolutely horrible!
absolutely horrible! they are helping me pay for my student loans, we came up with a payment plan concerning my loans and I am in the rehabilitation program. However, they have lied to me over several months that they are sending the forms for the payment agreement but they never do! i follow them constantly, call their office and no one ever picks up my calls. Is there a way I can report them to a higher authority since they are playing games with me. They actually charges me 2 thousand dollars as the agency collecting fee so i went from having loans of about 6 thousand to 8 thousand! is this legal? anyone with more info please respond and let me know. I'm in the process of contacting the attorney general and any law firms because this is ridiculous! worst customer care service ever!

I am so over this place that is hired by the actual Federal government to conduct business. I recently filed a claim with fhcann to resolve my debt to be placed in good standings. The first customer representative tells me that upon payment of 5 dollars a month, as well as a signature from my paperwork I would be enrolled in the program to later in three months, find out that was false information and I wasn't enrolled in the program. Inconsistently, I've dealt with over 10 representatives and only 3 out of 10 have been truthful in the information. Each time I speak with someone the information changes and there is always a problem with my paperwork after getting confirmation from the previous representative that every paper documented is perfect and final. The funny part is they always call within a week or so before the expiration of an offer. I can say they have the charisma to make things sound very beneficial and professional until the actual process begins...oops I forgot the process never begins because of the lack of integrity!
Repeated calls from F.H Cann & Associates, Inc. related to student loan debt. Student loan re-payment discussed and payment plan set. Informed after 4 continuous months of payment I would be allowed/authorized repayment through the previous lender. ***/ U.S. Department of Education. I agreed to that. I made the required payments. I received notice that an additional 10,000.00 dollars would be added to my debt after payment began. I never agreed to an additional charge of 10,000.00 and was not aware of this fee prior to the agreement arranged over the phone. After four (4) plus months passed, I contacted F. H. Cann & Associates, Inc. requesting to return to U.S. Department of Education as required as "no longer delinquent". I was told over phone that my contract with them had never been processed although they could show payments were being made and I was not eligible for transfer out of there company back to U.S. Department of Education until that matter was taken care of. I phoned back several months later, only to get the same excuss. I phoned the U. S Department of Education who informed me that F. H. Cann & Associates, Inc. would have to show that I had been making payments as scheduled for at least four months before anything could be done on their end. I once again called back, only to get the same excuss. stating " my request has not been entered into their system, but they could see in their files that I have made payments as agreed over the past 18 months". I feel emotionally lost at this point; unsure how or where to turn for clarification on how to resolve my issue! The act of adding 10,000 dollars to my student loan debt is outrageous! Leading me to believe this company finance fees are worst than any street bookie or mobster. As a public servent, previously eligible for he Student Loan Forgiveness Program, I am distraught and very disappointed in our system of equity. It is my hope that this company,, F. H Cann & Associates, Inc. will be barred from ever working with the U.S Department of Education and barred as a creadiable collection agency.
I *** recently called abut repayment/settling of a debt for a student loan
I *** recently called abut repayment/settling of a debt for a student loan. In April I was given an payoff amount of $30,000 that would settle the loan. I called back a month later and was given a afferent payoff amount of almost $60,000. I was told that the previous conversation was not documented as it should have been and they have a record of the call, but it was not noted correctly. I am ready to settle the loan, but with what they originally quoted.

I contacted this company to resolve a debt I have with them. I called and spoke to someone you offered a settlement and stated I had 90 days to pay the agreed upon settlement. They sent me a letter which was not very detailed so I called them back and asked a very simple question... when I pay the agreed upon settlement I want a guarantee in writing stating that my account is settled and no longer owe them or the dept of education anymore money and that this company please reflect that change to the credit reporting agency. I was transferred and put on hold but my question was never answered and no assurances where given. It's a lot of money to give a company and gat bo real assurances in regards to my debt.

I received a letter from F.H. & Cann & Associates dated Dec 5, 2019. The letter states that my student loans are in default and needs immediate resolution. The letter goes on to describe the student loan rehabilitation program and gives the contact phone number to the company. Since receipt of this letter, I have called and left voicemails nearly a dozen times and have never received a call back. I want to resolve my student loan problem, but I am stuck at this point without a person to talk to at the debt collector.

My student loan was assigned to FH Cann & Associates several months ago. After completing all required paperwork and doing everything directed by the company to have my student loan status brought out of default, I can not receive any call back or information as to my status. I have made repeated calls every week for the last three weeks to receive a call back and receive information but have received NO RESPONSE. It appears as soon as I completed the necessary paperwork to have my loan transferred from this company, they stopped communicating and stopped following-through on their responsibility to complete the process. I feel that these actions are being done with malice and intentionally for unknown reasons. The company also continues to drat the monthly payments from my bank account after I was told that my student loan was being transferred to another servicer. I have been unable to get any type of communication or updates as to the current situation and am left in limbo with no perceivable recourse for action.

I have a student loan that is in default status with this company
I have a student loan that is in default status with this company. I have been wanting to get it back in good standing, but I am completely unable to reach the company by phone. I know that there is a lot going on due to the Covid-19 crisis, but if they are still operating day-to-day, then they should be reachable. If they aren't, or don't have enough working staff, they should release my loan from it's default status, so I can work on the matter with my university. This matter really affects my life and I just want to rehabilitate the loan and get it in good standing.

Last year my husband and I paid off my defaulted loan totaling in over 9,000.00 in one payment. We were told at that point that everything was taken care of and that my loan was paid off. After checking the Department of Education's website repeatedly after that it continued to state that I still owed money AND that principal is being added to it. I called FH Cann & Associates multiple times and each time I am given the run around about the situation be escalated up (to who I am unsure) because for some reason my account was not closed out, the supervisor is never available to talk to me and I am told she will call me back and I never hear anything until I call back again and am given the same story. We paid off this loan in July- it is now February and I still have no answers as to why they have not closed my account. The reason we paid off this loan in one lump sum is because we didn't want this hanging over our heads and now I have zero resolution.
In July , FH Cann & I agreed to a $5/month payment for 9 out of 10 months to get my loans out of default status. Apparently, they were supposed to send a letter for me to sign and return. They never did. I have made all the agreed upon payments but they still refuse to send the letter for me to sign. I have called their office several times and requested the letter to be e-mailed - they state they will send it right over but never do. I am attempting to repay the loans and get back in good standing but their negligence is preventing me from doing so. The company will not take my calls from a number I have previously called from, I have to use a different phone number each time I call in if I want to speak to a representative. Using a number, I have already used gets me sent to voicemail. All voicemails are not-returned.

FH Cann assumed my defaulted student loan for $2035.34
FH Cann assumed my defaulted student loan for $2035.34. I arranged $300 monthly payments starting January. After paying January and February, about $1435 remained. My tax refund of $1755.93 was seized for the debt, resulting in a $320.59 overpayment. I contacted FH Cann, and they confirmed the overpayment, promising a refund within 30 days. I also requested deactivation of my autopayment setup and asked for confirmation, which I never received. On April 2, I got a $252.24 refund check. However, on April 21, another $300 was withdrawn for a settled loan, and a March payment was also taken. I called FH Cann repeatedly without resolution and reported the withdrawals as fraudulent, canceling my debit card to prevent further charges. Further attempts to contact FH Cann were unsuccessful; they are wrongly collecting funds.
