I received a letter that was dated as December 22 on my mailbox on January 7th stating that Geico Insurance was trying to recover the balance on an insurance loss. The FFAM account number is XXXXXXXX. I'm not familiar with any insurance losses and contacted my insurance and they did not have anything on their records either. I sent a certified letter to to FFAM on January 11th requesting validity of the claim including any documentation of insurance claims, prior correspondence, etc. The letter was sent through certified mail with a tracking number of XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX which was delivered on January 14. Per the return receipt this was signed by C-19 and a printed name of CXXXXX. It has been over 30 days and I have not received any letter regarding the validity of this claim as mentioned before I'm not aware of any insurance losses.

First financial has been calling me saying they are a debt collector after an incident that took place 2 months ago involving what the officer stated was not even a fender ***, we have not gone to court and no judgement has been entered. No tickets issued yet I am being harassed with phone calls daily, I have been hung up on numerous times after saying hello! This company is very unprofessional and harassing me daily for something that has not been deemed to be my fault!

This company is seeking to contact my wife, but instead, they reach out to my brother in their attempts to find her. We suspect that they might be a debt collection agency employing questionable tactics that verge on illegality, threatening to dispatch legal documents. They should be communicating directly with the individual from whom they are attempting to collect a debt, assuming such a debt exists. We have made attempts to contact them back, and they claim that in order to issue the paperwork regarding the matter at hand, we must make a payment upfront. We have declined to do so without receiving additional details, which they are not willing to disclose. The number that has been calling us was

I am a landlord. 3 of my tenants did not switch over the electrical bills into their name. I had 3 outstanding balances in my person name. This was not brought to my attention for over a year. I received a letter from First Financial Asset Mgmt. They said they were a debt collector for Duquesne Light. I contacted them and set up a payment plan for ACH. This occurred for a few months and in March 2022 I paid the full amount to them. They have not sent the money to Duquesne Light. When I contacted DLC they said they never heard of First Financial and never received payment. I have unsuccessfully tried to contact them. When I call I am placed on hold and then asked to leave a message, but the mailbox is full. I would like to know where my payments went to if DLC has not received them.

Enterprise Rent a Car Charged 2 drop charges 1 for $129.08 and $129.18 1 even after being told by Enterprise employees if you drive airport to airport there would be no drop charges contacted Enterprise customer service they told me they should have not charged my drop charges and that the regional manager was going to contact me which he/she never did. Since a Regional manager never contacted me as promised it was disputed with my credit card company and after their investigation with Enterprise Rent A Car it was agreed the drop charges should have not been charged and were reimbursed to my credit card. Please see attached letter that was sent to Enterprise on Jan 19th 2020 with no response from Enterprise. As of 6/7 I received 2 collection notices 1 for each of the drop charges from First Financial Asset Mgmt inc. 3091 Governors Lake Dr Suite 300 Peachtree Corners GA XXXXX.

Received a letter stating that this company is a debt collector on behalf of Thrifty Rental. I called Thrifty Rental to confirm and they do not even use this company to report claims to. Per Thrifty, I do not have an outstanding balance and I did not return a car with damages.

First Financial Asset Management FFA contacted me about a debt the i owe

FFA contacted me about a debt the i owe. I requested documentation be sent to my address on file. They refused to send documentation. First Financial Asset called me and said that i owe them money for an outstanding debt. I was not aware of any debt that i owe. I requested documentation be send to my address on file they refused. Someone then contacted me again and i again requested that they send me documentation to my home address. I waited couple of days and I contacted First Finical Asset on Aug 4 and requested documentation again. They Refused to send documentation. The Service Rep said that i would have to wait until Aug 7 to request the documentation. I am willing to pay any money i owe if they send me to correct documentation and it is money that i truly owe. I do not understand collection company not willing to send documentation to collect the money owed. This seems like Fraud to Me.

January 27, 2022

I am writing a dispute regarding First Financial Asset Management, which is a debt collector. I have never heard of this agency. The reference number provided to me is currently undisclosed. According to a letter from First Financial Asset Management, I need to respond by March 1, 2022, regarding a debt of $96.00.

Thank you.

I received a debt collection notice from First Financial for $95 from *** for Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I contacted Enterprise, and they confirmed that I have no debts with them, and that the account number given on the collection notice was also incorrect. Additionally, my name is misspelled on the notice (or different than how Enterprise has it in their system), and the notice was sent to my old address. Enterprise has my new address, and all transactions made with Enterprise this past year were from the new address.I believe this is a scam and I do not want to respond to the notice directly as I'm concerned they will try to elicit my information, but in the event that it could affect my credit score, I'd like Complaintsboard.com to help intervene.

This is the second time (12/13) that they are claiming that I have a collection balance from Prisma Health. First time was 11/16/221. I contacted multiple departments from Prisma and they show nothing is in collections and that everything was paid on time. I have asked for more information about this from them but since I refuse to give them my info, they will only tell me it is related to Prisma Health. And when I ask them to mail something to show the debt and information about it they say okay and nothing is ever received. I am hoping that this does not show on my credit report since this has not been verified as accurate. But from reviews it seems like this is normal for this company and seems really shady that they are able to get away with this. My previous address from when myself or my daughter *** went to Prisma was

I agreed on the phone to pay First Financial Asset Management $100 on 11/26. I spoke with a representative, ***, who said we were on recorded line. She took my credit card information and we made the above agreement. On 11/26 I was charged $397.00 I was totally unaware of why I was charged that amount. We specifically agreed to $100.00. There was to be a future payment of $405.00 for 12/18. I have tried to call several times but am being directed to a recording. I am afraid I have been scammed. Even, if they are a legitimate company they still lied to me and took money out of my account I didn't approve.

Received a call about some undisclosed matters from an unknown source and I don't know why. Please contact Progressive and provide them with progressive claim number [protected]. This matter should be handled by Progressive. The file number for First Financial Asset can be sent to the appropriate contact via email, fax, or postal mail. The designated representative should be the person you need to call about the file number. I don't want this showing on my credit report and don't have anything to do with this.

I'm submitting this complaint against FIRST FINANCIAL ASSET due to their total disregard for my consumer rights under the FCRA/FCBA/FDCPA. For several months now, I've been disputing inaccurate and unverifiable information showing up on my credit report by this company. I have requested intimate information about the alleged accounts, including a copy of an agreement with my signature on it, but I have yet to receive anything. This company continues to electronically verify this "ghost" account without providing any legally binding evidence, such as a signed contract and complete accounting of the record, as required by law. However, this company refuses to provide it, which is not right and is not compliant with the FCRA/FDCPA. I'm absolutely fed up. My life has been completely ruined as a result of this. It's causing me enormous mental and financial distress. I've just had enough! Please help! I hope to hear from you soon.

First Financial Asset Management I need First Financial Asset Management (FFAM) to immediately remove a paid collection from my credit report

I need First Financial Asset Management (FFAM) to immediately remove a paid collection from my credit report. It is negatively affecting my credit. FFAM reported a collection to my credit. In order to resolve this issue, I contact FFAM and paid the requested amount to settle this debt on March 10. The amount paid as requested during my phone conference with FFAM was $553. I was advised that this would resolve the debt and that after 30 days I could call back to get a letter and an update to my credit report. I called and e-mailed FFAM on April 12 requesting that they remove the collection from credit. I was advised that it was not their policy to take collections off of your credit. Again, I was advised that I would receive a letter that would show that the collection was paid. I need this collection removed from the credit immediately. Since FFAM reported the collection to the credit bureaus they do have the ability to submit a deletion.

I've received a bill from FFAM claiming I have a debt of $105.54 from renting a car in 2019 but all other information they have provided (what little I was able get) about the bill is inaccurate. I have tried contacting FFAM and Enterprise Holdings multiple times via phone, email and letter to resolve the issue but have had no response from them other than another bill. I'm unable to leave a voicemail ("full mailbox") and the two humans I did talk to said they couldn't help me and transfered me to another line that also had a full mailbox. My bill for Enterprise was paid in full the day of services rendered and the agreed upon amount was charged to my credit card. Any additional charges have been made in error and the way FFAM has been handling it (or lack thereof) is unprofessional and looks like a money scam. Unless I can be provided with a detailed bill and valid explainaition why I owe on something already paid for 2 years ago, I'll keep my $105.54.

I need FFAS to take off my already paid collection from my credit score as well as the " fake" copy collection they put on my credit score I have been trying to get FFAM off of my credit so in December I paid the whole thing off. They told me after 30 days I can get a " note" and a " update" they could not use the word taken off of your credit. So I called back in January and they still didn't update. But also they ran on my credit report - the 588$ collection twice. So on January I asked for them to remove this collection from my report and also this second report - that they "accidentally" reported twice. They told me they would" update" it ( even though they can't say remove from credit) - When I asked who can remove it from my credit they couldn't tell me who. So come the end of January they showed I have paid it off on my collection . But the second : accidental" report was still on my credit score. This is ridiculous. If someone does not take this fake report off of score and cancel the first one completely I will contact a legal representative.

Sexual assault bill sent to collections A bill for an exam related to a sexual assault was sent to collections by a hospital, despite multiple attempts to resolve directly with their billing department. This should never have been sent to me, much less a collection agency. I was assured multiple times at the time of exam I would never be sent a bill, nor be responsible for a bill due to the nature of this exam. I am in the process of obtaining my first mortgage and was eventually forced to pay this bill due to no one being willing to help and placing blame on everyone else. I paid this bill in full 9/21 in the amount of $308.14 with Terrance. I made it clear the intent of paying this erroneous bill was for the purpose of applying for mortgage. I have contacted First Financial several times since 9/21 and am now being told their policy is to wait 30 days before issuing a receipt of payment or letter verifying payment has been made. This is all completely unacceptable. I have been forced to pay a debt for something entirely not due to any fault of my own, and now am being told I cannot even have proof of paying this debt for a month.

The $308.14 is a punishment for being a "harlot". Trust me, victims of SA are hated by health care systems. The man is the "victim" especially a white male and the woman is a wh*Re. No kidding. I'm sick of health "care" labeling us and destroying our reputation. Losing your job, etc. because the health care broadcasts it EVERYWHERE. I had to move clear across the country to escape the "prostitute" stigma!

Around early April, I got a letter from First Financial Asset Management *** the debt company) said that I owed Hertz $252.62. Ref number is ***. I was totally surprised by this claim. I called them many times and couldnt get basic info from them. One phone call said I rented Hertz car and caused damage around Sept/Oct of 2021. In fact, I did NOT rent car with Hertz during 2021. I called Hertz billing *** and confirmed there was no business under my name. I got *** email also confirming that they couldn't find any records (see supporting document attached). I called and emailed the debt company demanding further info and got no response back. One lady named *** talked to me and said they would investigate, but she never come back to me. The bottom line is: I have nothing to do with this claim. I did NOT do any business during 2021 with Hertz and they couldn't find any record. So I think this must be an error on either the debt company or Hertz side. They must remove my name from the claim. But the debt company is very un-responsive and their call system is very busy and always puts me in an endless wait. My email inquire also got no response at all.

First Financial Asset Management On December 9, a company hired First Financial Asset Management to have me cover an insurance loss balance

On December 9, a company hired First Financial Asset Management to have me cover the balance on an insurance loss of the amount of $3,826.83. I called to dispute the validity of this claim and refused to do so after continuously being told I have to pay it or risk having my license suspended. I kept calling to seek different arrangements and was repeatedly turned away. Eventually, I gave in and called to see how I could pay a reduced amount and provided my card information to end this burden once and for all, but something felt wrong as they kept asking for more personal information. After I gave them my card number, they persuaded me to inform my bank about an upcoming transaction of $3,250. Initially, this felt like a scam and the transaction did not go through for unknown reasons. The next day, I continued to receive phone calls from their office, which I ignored, as the FDCPA limits the number of calls a debt collector can make. My experience with FFAM has been fraught with aggressive pressure and intimidation. This unethical company must cease its harassment, and I need this collection agency to immediately dispute this fraudulent claim.

First Financial Asset Management Fake Agency refuses to provided physical evidence of invoice of where charges came from

Fake Agency refuses to provided physical evidence of invoice of where charges came from. This is a scam or they have wrong person contact. Fake Agency reach out to me on "uncollected debt" the charges they are claiming are insane based on what they state. I asked for proof of charges to validate the charges they first said I owed $2,953.62 I set up payment plan, but stopped due to them adding on $26k thousand dollars saying I owe. The accident auto claims does not add up. I believe this is a SCAM and until proven and sent document files they told me they were going to send me three times and still have not done so I will not be paying this is SCAM and or they have the wrong contact for this debt. The auto claims "they assume" I was NEVER involved in was a bodily injury the accident I was involved in was a MINOR collision (they probably looked up my background and used that as bait) and no damage was done to my car and the "claimer" had a minor scratch I told them this and then advised to please send me physical proof evidence and they have failed to do so and continue to call me to collect for something of $28k that I have no idea who and what it is for. Please clear this debt off my name or account what ever it is. I don't understand where and how this came upon me and the agency's behavior leads me to believe they are a SCAM and or have the wrong contact person claiming fraudulent charges. I paid about $300.00 prior to them adding the $26k "unidentified charges" and have no idea this was going to be a scam.

First Financial Asset Management On 04/21 a message was left on my calling service from First Financial Assets

On 04/21 a message was left on my calling service from First Financial Assets. Called ID listed the number as (XXX) XXXXXXX The message left on my answering service claimed to be a debt collector, but I have no outstanding debts. None whatsoever. I even checked my credit report and there are none. I've never received any notices from anyone claiming I owed anyone until this call yesterday. My name is a common name and I believe this collection agency is phishing and just pulling names from the internet of someone with the same or similar sounding name then trying to attached a bill to them. I've done a lot of opinion and freelance writings online, an dI believe this is maybe how they pulled my name from the internet. The caller sounding more like a recording than a live voice, but didn't leave any information. Only left a X-XXX-XXX-XXXX number for me to call, which I have no intentions of calling them, as I have no reason too. When I looked up the name and number an address in Peachtree Corners, Ga. I have no idea who these people are nor what it is they claim I owe. Again I owe no one. I have no unpaid debts. My credit ratings are in good standings. What I suspect they are doing borders harassment and is illegal, or should be, to just pull someone's name and attempt to get them to pay a bill that is not theirs. I want them to NOT CALL ME! PERIOD! And they should take the time to do a better research before just pulling someone's name from the internet, which I suspect they are doing and, just because that person has a same name, they start calling them. Whomever they are looking for THEY HAVE THE WRONG PERSON!

First Financial Asset Management The company is reporting a $27 debit that they will not delete off my credit report

The company is reporting a $27 debit that they will not delete off my credit report. My score has dropped 80 pts and has prevented me from home buying I contacted the company after my score dropped from a 680 to a 599 after a $27 medical bill appeared on my report in collections from First Financial Asset Management. I had been working on my credit and saving to purchase a home for 2 years prior to this reporting on my reports. I contacted the agency to dispute this and even offered to pay the debit so long as they send me a letter stating upon receipt of my payment they will delete this derogatory information from all of my reports so I can get back on track for my home purchase. Before I could give my verifying information or finish asking for my request the agent immidiately put me on speaker phone and her and another agent shouted at me "no we will not do that, we do not do that, we will not that" while I was informing the agent of my request. I agreed that I would pay the debt but the fact that is reporting on my reports it has made my home purchase come to a complete hault. I know that collections agencies are able to delete debts from consumers credit reports but they would not allow me the opportunity to resolve the matter, pay them or make any kind of progress. They have literally ruined my life and everything that I have worked years extremely hard for over a $27 medical bill that I was never in a contract with First Financial Asset Management to begin with. I want them to immediately delete this information from all 3 of my reports and send me a letter in writing that they will never report this again in the future. They have costed me being able to purchase my home and costed me my good credit history and made me recently get denied for credit.

First Financial Asset Management Re: First Financial Asset Management, Acct# Inquiry

Re: First Financial Asset Management, Acct# Inquiry In July, the mail. Agreed amount was $102.09 which has been debited out of my account every month. I called them this morning (05/04/22) to give them a change of banking info and was informed that my balance, which I knew to be around $500, was quite a bit higher...over $2k. I was informed by the representative that I in fact owed $2027.54 because I actually have 3 other accounts that I knew nothing about. I was offered a deal to make 2 payments of $719.98 and all balances would be paid off. I set up the payments to be withdrawn from my account on 05/13/22 & 06/10/22. Later today the normal monthly notice from First Financial was delivered and showed a balance of $510.37 (a recent payment of $102.09 had not yet posted so the true balance is $408.28 and verified). I called back asking why my statement shows I owe a much smaller amount than I being told I owe. She explained that I have 4 accounts and they pulled them all together to get the amount owed and that the account number I gave her represented all 4 accounts. I asked for a statement for the other 3 accounts that I know nothing about and she said she can send me one but it would negate the payment plan I made. So, I feel I was threatened to pay now without documentation showing where the extra $1619.26 came from. I ended the call by doing exactly that...canceled all payments. I made it known I didn't understand why a company can not send out a statement without canceling an agreed upon amount. She said I received a statement in July . I never received it. I received one statement in July for which I called and set up payments. I don't believe this type of threatening behavior should be allowed with a senior citizen!
