This company has been phoning and texting me trying to get me to pay a debt that is not mine. I have told them repeatedly to stop. They don't stop. They can't provide me with details of my supposed debt. I want it to stop. They are *** and *** on the phone.

MAC Financial continues to call me looking for an entirely different person, someone named David B. I don't know who this is, but they call me relentlessly, every few days. I have asked them before to take me off their list as I have no outstanding debts in collections, and certainly not with them. I would like this rectified immediately.

I have never dealt with this place or ever gave this place my number or anyone they have been looking for and now for over a year and a half this person named *** from this place as spammed my phone every month for over almost two years and I keep telling them I did not know the person and to stop calling me and I can not block the number as they keep calling from different numbers

A person named Mr L. from Mac Financial in Ontario continues to call my work leaving detailed information about an alleged debt to *** from 2015. This is illegal in the Province of BC and on multiple occasions I have asked them to stop and they persist. It doesn't matter who answers the phone at work they leave details of this alleged debt . ***l! This has to stop!

I have received several phone calls and texts claiming legal action for debt I do not have. Over the past two weeks I have received two more phone calls. This time was the claim that could be in a better financial situation if I called back. All my credit reports have no record of debts. They have proved that they are making unjust claims of legal action by their contradictory phone calls. Stop all contact immediately.

I have been called multiple times a week from Mac financial telling me I need to call back urgently to settle an account. They are asking for a woman named *** (not me!) and wouldn't stop even when I said they had the wrong number. Since then they have repeatedly called me, causing me to block their number. They have continued to call me on different phone numbers or using no caller ID so the calls will go through. I need this to stop immediately.

Repeatedly, a company calls seeking someone I don't know; I've informed them they have the wrong number and to update their records. Despite assurances, they persist, calling back after weeks or months. I've changed my number once and refuse to do so again due to their negligence.

I am regularly being contacted by MAC Financial. They are collecting money owed to ***. They have called over two dozen times looking for a Natalia R. I keep telling them that is not me. One time the gentleman on the phone started screaming at me and telling me I can't keep running from my problems and that they will eventually get me. I kept saying he has the wrong number because that is not my name and he kept screaming and saying "It's you! It's you! I know it's you! You can't lie to me!" It was absolutely unreal, my colleague could not believe what she was hearing me deal with.

Business is falsifying records and not following the Ontario provincial debt rules. I have been contacted by them over the years. I have asked them to verify the debt. They have not done this. Instead, they are sending me an incorrect figure. The debt was settled in 2015 through a consumer proposal. They claim the balance has increased and are willing to settle for 60% of the original balance, which is inaccurate. They have harassed me at work, threatening legal action well past the 2-year limit. They called me 3-4 times a day during certain hours. After moving provinces, I received a letter at my new address with the same settlement offer. They are persistent and intrusive. I do not wish to speak with them and want this issue resolved before reporting them to the Ontario consumer protection.

Over 15 years ago, I had an in-store credit card for this office supply store. I managed to to pay it off. For years I never heard from that office supply store or from the financial institution. Then from out of the blue just over a year ago I received a letter from this agency about a debt that is owed to that office supplies store and the financial institution. Also the amount that they were looking at was double the amount I had I'm not card several years ago. Anyway and employee from this collection agency has been trying to contact me through my mother and told this employee that I was not home. He was disrespectful to her. The other day I get a call from an unknown number and it turned out to be that same employee for this agency about this debt. I told him I have talked to the accounting manager for this office supply store, and talk to that financial agency as well as my bank and ***. There is no record of me owing money. I tried explaining to this individual about this matter and again this time with me he was disrespectful, told me that he doesn't have time to deal with this where he got a little turse and said pay your debt and then hung up on me. Is this the manner of employees in this agency to disrespect people

I received a letter from a representative at Mac F, dated May 6, 21. The letter requests I pay $18,573.95 on an account that is 9 years old. This account is beyond the statute in Manitoba of 6 years. The account originally shows a balance on the report of $10,121.00. I also included the creditor's report showing the date of account of November with a balance of $7,870, indicating Mac's constant inflation. I visited Consumer Protection in 2016 and they have copies of all my reports and letters. Mac previously threatened me with court action and a representative informed me that they are allowed to collect interest as it's part of my original agreement. Update as of May 26: I request the original signed paperwork be sent to me for my records. Notably, I have a letter from Mac that was inappropriately sent to my workplace, causing embarrassment. It was sent in 2019. I insist on receiving the originals and demand that all contact be ceased, the account not be resold, and that my privacy be respected. I am well-organized with my documentation and am prepared to take further action if necessary, especially concerning the inappropriate letters and the one sent to my workplace. Thank you.
