FirstService Residential review: HOA/ Residential management

Dear Sirs, I am a member of the Pines at Saint James HOA that your company here in Murrells Inlet manages and does a very poor job at. The property manager and assistant seem to have no interest other than giving lip service to the goals of this community. They have asked community members such as myself to help report violations such as unmowed lawns, lanscaping unattended for months etc. and I have been happy to report violations such as weeds left up to 3 and 4 feet tall right in the front yard. Yet even after being reported several times, there are still a few repeat violators that again and again nothing is done. I walk around the neighborhood and easily see homes with unkept lawns not mowed for 6 to 8 weeks, mold on homes, shutters falling off houses and not replaced, etc. despite your management supposedly doing biweekly drive throughs. Most times I send in e-mails with pictures documenting violations go completely unacknowledged. Therre is no reason that a small number of homes have to go through two years of summers of unkept lawns and our management partners ignoring these repeat offenders. Please Find out if there are issues with the management team in charge of our property, otherwise I will be forced to recommend changes to our board. Thank You, Joyce A. Smith.
