FlightStats, or should I say "Flight Stats", is a website that claims to provide information about flights. However, I found out that they also have another website called Cirium. As someone who works with statistics and economic research, I decided to subscribe to their standard subscription. But to my disappointment, I did not find any useful information apart from the current flights timetable, which I did not even need in the first place.

Their advertisement for the subscription mentioned departures and arrivals, but they failed to mention that it only applies to current flights within a +/- one day range. This was quite misleading and frustrating. As a result, I immediately unsubscribed after trying their service, but unfortunately, I lost a small amount of money.

In my opinion, FlightStats is not really about providing flight statistics, but rather a flight tracker. They should be more transparent about their services and not mislead their customers. Overall, I would not recommend this website to anyone looking for comprehensive flight information.
