Lynx Air Customer service at check in at pearson airport

Yesterday on November 11, 2023 at 4:00 pm at the Toronto Pearson Airport, the check in gate supervisor, Agent Maureen, and employees for Lynx Air were the most disrespectful and rude people ever. Our flight had apparently gotten changed and the Lynx Air supervisor was not providing us with any new information when we had asked her, but was instead making rude and snarky comments about us and said she would kick us off of our flight. She made us miss our flight and we had to fully pay for a new flight without any proper refund for their inconvenience and behaviour.

Lynx Air Refund from Flight for YYZ to YYC, have yet to receive any refund or compensation.

July 22nd my flight from Toronto to Calgary was canceled, for myself and my daughter. My booking reference was 4T3O20 and my daughters was 2R62XL.

I have not received a refund to my credit card and my refund statement says it was sent. I tried calling the direct line from the Toronto airport to Lynx. I tried calling Lynx 13 times from my cellphone at the airport after 7am when the website states it answers the phone. My daughter received a cancellation email, with the option to get a refund or select a flight at 8pm on the 22nd.

I did not receive that cancellation email so it made it very hard to reschedule a flight as I kept getting a warning saying my itinerary was out of sync.

After I went into manually cancel my flight on the Lynx website, it still stated my booking was out of sync. I could not put my daughter on the 8pm flight without me, so we could not take that flight.

I had to reschedule a flight for $881 each with Porter at 1:45pm on the 22nd. I had a rental car and hotel that I could not cancel and my daughter was scheduled for a housing meeting in Banff as well as starting work in Banff which was the whole point of this trip.

This was a major inconvenience as well as a huge unexpected expense.

Like I previously stated, I have not received any refunds although my bookings state they have been sent. This has been very frustrating trying to arrange for refunds, hours online multiple times without any real answers and no refunds!

Desired outcome: My full refund for our trip of $590.

Booking Reference 2R62XL

My flight from Toronto to Calgary was canceled and I was offered a flight 12.5 hours later. This was unacceptable and my mom did not receive a cancellation email for her flight. This made it very hard to schedule another flight.

Once my mom went into her booking and manually canceled her flight, she still could not take the 8pm flight as it was stating her itinerary was out of sync.

This made it very stressful to figure out what to do next.

We called Lynx about 15 times after 7am, which is what time the website states they open. No answer, just disconnected. The direct phone at the airport to Lynx was the same thing. No one at the airport was helpful at all.

We eventually had to book a flight with Porter as that was all that was left and it was $881 each compared to $295. I was going to Banff to start working, and my mom had a hotel and rental car paid for so this trip could not be canceled.

This extra expense of rescheduling another flight was very upsetting to my mom as she was going with me to make sure I got there ok, even though she really couldn't afford to go with me in the first place.

On July 22nd, my flight was canceled from Toronto to Calgary with Lynx Air, I was offered a flight 12.5 hours later. I selected the refund option as my mom was flying with me and she did not receive the cancelation email. This made it very hard to rebook another flight as we were getting an out of sync warning, stating that my mom already had a reservation.

We tried calling Lynx after 7am, would get disconnected, called the direct line from the airport...nothing. This was a very frustrating and stressful situation.

We ended up have to book a flight with Porter Air that cost $881 each instead of the original $295 each, as that was all that was available. We had a hotel paid for and rental car for 5 days so this trip could not be canceled and I was going to start working in Banff.

My mom did receive a refund of $199 from Flighthub but still has not received the difference, although my booking saying its been sent.

To just get a refund seems to not be enough, this added a lot of extra expenses to an already pricey trip!
