Pat and Debbie are amazing. Extremely quick to respond to phone calls and emails. Very knowledgeable and thorough. I know my new home is in good hands with FBI Group and Pat. Building a new home can overwhelming, especially from 1400 miles away. Knowing Pat is watching the process every step of the way has me at ease and Extremely Excited! Pat and Debbie are the best!

Great company! I can't say enough good things. The lady I talked with (Ria) to schedule my inspection was wonderfully helpful in scheduling but also in answering several questions I had about living in Florida (I'm from Oklahoma). Josh was my inspector and he took the time to do a three way call with my son and I because I couldn't be there to see the house or the inspection.

Office staff was very polite, knowledgeable and helpful. Services provided by the company was extensive. Jared H., the inspector assigned to do our home inspection, was thorough and had a keen eye for details. After filling out his report, he called us to explain his findings in details and answered all questions in depth. Great experience with the company and Jared. Highly recommended...

he inspector from FBI -Travis was extremely thorough and he explained terms to me I didn't understand. He was generally easy to talk to and tried to be conscientious about time. All in all great service and very knowledgeable. Travis is a A++ , very polite, patent understandings pressure for home buyers, He go beyond my exceptional.He save my client time and money due to processing new home.

while inspecting the ac system they knocked out the line going to my bedroom, I had to have an ac company come out, cost $125. They removed the blanket around my hot water heater, they did not fix it or tell me about it. They removed the panel to my fuse panel, now the door will not close. I had to remove the front panel and realign it so the door would close. Very poor customer relationship , poorly done, shabby job.

Great experience! The service provided was very profesional and delivered in a timely manner. They kept us informed throught the whole process and sent reminders to make sure we were aware of the time and date in case of a mixup. The inspection was very thorough and the report was sent on the same day of the inspection even though it was conducted on a Saturday. I highly reccommend them for their services. Very pleased! A+

This company is top notch! I never expected such a complete report as I received from them. Patrick was such a pleasure to work with and explained everything to me. Even though most things were minor repairs to work it gave me list of what I needed to do. I wouldn't recommend anyone go anywhere else to do business. I don't say that lightly either, but this time I will and be proud! If I could give them a 10 star rating I would.

Jared is very professional and has great communication skills. He provided me a detailed report along with showing great attention to detail. I appreciate the time and effort put forth from him and Wesley for my inspection. This company provided me excellent customer service and worked with me to get my home inspection completed prior to my closing. I would highly recommend this company and would hire them again if every needed.

Brian S. was my inspector. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything that he found to me and how to address it. This is my first house and stressing a lot over it but he got me through this very important stage. I look forward to working with him and the rest of the team for the remainder of this time and further on if I have the need to buy again.

Brian performed a very thorough inspection (including Four Point and Wind Mitigation), taking lots of photos throughout, which were included in the detailed inspection report. He gave me "eyes" to the places that were inaccessible to me, like the hot, cramped spaces of the attic. What I appreciate most is that he took the time to answer questions that I had, to go over his findings, and to give his professional opinion on some of the things that needed attention.

Personable staff, a real person answered the phone at 7PM! Quick to schedule my inspection. Very thorough inspection with very professional report of the inspection which included photos for every detail needing attention and a description of the possible damage or why it needs addressing. Also commented on things that were not needing attention giving the estimated lifespan of items and the probability of it having issues right now. Report was completed and delivered to me the same day as the inspection. I highly recommend them!

Brian was great. He was training Maite and they were awesome. Both were very thorough and was attentive to detail. They were open to answering questions and concerns. As a first time home buyer, I felt a sense of relief knowing that he was available to answer any questions even after my purchase. Their presentation of the findings was easy to understand. Brian also gave me a booklet as to how the equipment and systems work around my home which was an extra touch to my experience. I would highly recommend FBI Inspections. If I could give them 100 stars, I would!

I had a complete Home Inspection done by another company and I was very disappointed with the lack of detail. I was out of state and unable to attend the inspection due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Being such an important part of a very important purchase, I decided to have FBIG do a second inspection. Jared was the Home Inspector and was very thorough, professional and excellent communication before, during and even days after the inspection. The second inspection uncovered several important issues that were not noticed in the original inspection I highly recommend Jared and FBIG!

I cannot say enough great things about, ***. This is my first home purchase in, *** so there are a lot of things which are a wee bit different from the other locations I've bought a home. After he went through all the nooks and crannies of the home, he walked and explained all the findings to me. Not only the negative findings, but also took the time to explain and show me the positive findings within the home. As I was walking around, any question I had, he was able to answer right away and explained the differences to me as well. The inspection began o/a ***, and before ***, the report was in my inbox. Pictures, videos, write *** and all. If you're looking for a home inspection team, the *** Group is honestly, top notch. I would highly recommend *** by name to help you with your home inspection. The inspector messed up our property during the inspection and won't own up to it. We hired this company for a home buyer, and while he was here, he broke the lock off the sliding door handle. He hid it from our agent (even though he told the buyer's agent), and didn't put it on his report. We saw it was broken after the inspection and told our agent. Then our agent said he got an email from the buyer's agent that was forwarded to him (no communication or apology to us), and said it was wear and tear on an old house and not his fault. He offered money "in good faith". It's not even enough to cover the cost of the item and hiring a handyman to fix it. This company is unprofessional and should have sent someone to replace it right away. It's been a few weeks, and we had another inspection with a different company, and they put it on their report to fix. Our agent said this was their "final" offer and won't fix it. They're a terrible and unprofessional company.

Florida Building Inspection Group came to check out the house we wanted to buy on Aug 8th. They missed a bunch of stuff that we had to pay to get fixed later. Here's what they missed: 1) The shower had no hot water pressure because the controller was messed up. It cost $355 to fix. 2) The switch for the stairwell light was wired wrong and only worked if another switch was in a certain position. I fixed it myself. 3) The switch for the kitchen light was also wired wrong and had a bare wire that could have caused a fire. I fixed that too. 4) The laundry light didn't work at all because of a loose wire. I fixed it. 5) The lights in the master closet kept tripping the breaker, so we replaced them with LEDs. 6) The light in the master toilet still doesn't work right.

FBI Group Inspected my crib and didn't spot a big bacteria growth problem in HVAC closet. They didn't wanna pay for the damages and fix it. I'm a soldier and my family moved to Tampa in July . We bought a house and used Florida Building Inspection (FBI) group to inspect it. Being military, we couldn't check it out in person. So, we trusted the inspector to give us a pro opinion on the house, its mechanics, and structure. We moved in and noticed a nasty smell from the hall between our kids' rooms. After some research and paying for cleaning, we found out there was a huge mold problem in the HVAC closet in that area and the same problem existed in the other HVAC closet down the hall. I called FBI group to tell them about the mold, and they came to test and confirmed it. They said I didn't follow proper steps to notify them first before cleaning the area. So, they're not liable. I disagreed and asked them to review. They called in an expert who confirmed the danger, damage, and what needed to be done. All they offered was to refund about $408 paid for a part of the inspection fee if I signed a form releasing them from liability. I refused as they didn't accept fault or offer any help in fixing the mistake their inspector missed. We had to hire a mold mitigation company and spent over $14,000 to fix both HVAC closets, attic, and ductwork. We had to live in the house with mold problems for months and then move out for two weeks into a hotel as they made the major repairs. There were two other things the inspector missed: the HVAC electric shut off in the closet for the downstairs and a broken window on the front of the house. The inspection report doesn't mention any HVAC concerns or bacteria growth in the HVAC closet. Available pictures show it was very obvious. FBI group and their inspector messed up and didn't stand by their work.
