rude manageress who happily rejects customers
I visited the Footlocker at Rideau Center, Ottawa, last night and found a pair of trainers each for my son and me. When I tried paying by Visa, the cashier accidentally pressed "decline" when I signed. The till then froze and as it was close to 9:45 pm (the time I was scheduled to meet with my family - the center closes at 9pm), I was a bit stressed and asked the cashier if she could get it right the next time. Because the till was still stuck, she asked the manageress for help. Having heard what I said to the very pleasant cashier (who was most apologetic), the manageress very curtly told me she did not appreciate my "attitude" and called me IGNORANT. I remonstrated with her and told her that as someone supposedly in the service industry, her attitude was (shockingly) pathetic - and reminded her that (being in the service industry myself) the rule is that the "customer is always correct". She did not appreciate this and summarily informed me that she was NOT going to sell me the 2 pairs of shoes!
What she did was not only a reflection of the hyper-sensitive, entitled-mindset that many service staff possess these days but also sets a really bad example for her colleagues, giving them licence to behave in the same way - and worse. She also chose to be so rude to me in front of my teenage son, which was humiliating to both of us! I have patronised Footlocker many times before and have never had a problem, but I shall no longer be doing so. In fact, after leaving their store, I popped into Vans and received wonderful, competent service. My son ended up with a far better pair of shoes!
Footlocker needs to recruit, train and promote better. That lady had no right to be a manageress - obviously Peter Principle in manifestation.
BTW, if the manageress suggests I was being racist (the snowflake default defense and offence), I belong to an even smaller minority than hers..
I have submitted the above to Foot Locker's customer service department and hope they will check the CCTV camera which should have recorded the above described saga. Let's see if they do anything at all.

I visited the foot locker store in Rocky Mount, NC on July 8, 2019.
The store in Rocky Mount placedan order for me on Air Force 1 for my grandson. When the shoes arrived, open the package and was very disspointed. They were worned shoes and the bottom of one shoe was completely worned to where there was no rubber. There was dirt on the bottom of each shoe. They both were bent in the crese and just looked terrible.

however, their customer services were so terrible to where I wasnot get any where with them. I was told to just take the shoes back to the store and get a refund. No apology or nothing. When asked for a corportate number, I was told there was not one. I google and found what supposed to have been a corporte number but was treated the same. I asked how can I reach someone or the CEO, again I was told there was no one for me to talk to.
I finally found the CEO and sent him a letter. Waiting to hear from him.
I have never experince any thing like this before but after reading reviews from Footlocker, Im not surprised.
I wanted to advised Nike of what I have been though in buying their product.

Place an order twice through your website. The first time the funds were removed from gift card but I called s month later and was able to get a get card sent back through email in the same amount they took. Second time I placed order on April 9 order # 3064684 so called out of stock but still took money from the card again. I have called customer service 4 times since last week and each representative has lied and told me they were issuing a gift card through email in the amount of $40. I am very disappointed in the customer service I have received an now I do not want to purchase anything from this company. I want my money back, no gift card I want a check in the amount of $40 sent to my address because I have been lied to several different times. I am also going to contact the BBB if I do not here from someone in 24 hours.
poor service and unprofessional behavior
The house of hoops store near has an employee who comes to my place of business- (i know because ive seen him in uniform) and i have gone there with a photo to get this employees name which they gave me- Brian Reynolds. He has been comming into my place of business and harassing either myself or fellow employees which i work with. He has used unprofessional derogatory words calling some of my workers "[censored]s" which yes the company which i work for is LGBTQ friendly. So we hire all who want to work. But someone from another place of business to come and harass other people whom they dont know is highly unprofessional. I have even old my other employees to ask him and his friends whom he accompanies with to leave which they dont and i had warned if he kept comming around i would report him. This company should be ashamed to have employees who trash others whom they dont know.

I ordered a size too large and returned the item with the shipping label footlocker provided. They received the item and its been two weeks and still no refund. I have attempted to contact the toll free 3, but line consistently busy. I evn tried at midnight and automated voice states reps are busy with other customers and to hold the line. At 1am I chose to hang up. I promise I will inform everyone not to purchase any shoes from footlocker their poor business management must start at the top!

money taken and no product received
I went to the stockton, ca branch in sherwood mall to but some shoes for christmas. As I was paying for the product the system went down and the manager was having issues with payment. My financial institution states that the money was with drawn from my account, but on the store system it was shown as unpaid. They contacted your bank and they said it was not taken and that it is pending, but I called and my bank confirmed it was taken. I wasted 2 hours waiting for a solution. Now I have to go back on christmas eve to see if my money is with refunded. I am very angry, that nobody was able to help refund me or leave with the shoes I clearly paid for!

I ordered the jordan 11 concord size 5 for my daughter for christmas. When I finally got them they had creases and scuff marks on the shoe. The shoe laces had long hair all over them like someone already owned them. For the price that you charge the item should be brand new. I will never order from footlocker again since they can't even answer their customer service phone.

I went to footlocker at governors square in clarksville tn 12/14/2018. they raffled off the spiderman jordan 1's and the remaining pairs would be sold to the public at 6pm. the guys asked me what size I needed I said 11 he said he had that size along with a 10. it was 2 of us waiting and the manager said we were up next if nobody came. so 6 pm came around and they said they were out of pairs because they had to wait for the guy to retrieve his pair. the guy was rude about it like we dont have any left and I cant sell them afterrrr 6 pm. so he reluctantly gave the guy ahead of me the size 11 (because he was first) and did not give me the size 10 because he said the manager had first dibbs on the shoes. I didnt get the shoes because the manager took my pair after telling me they had them. they were very unprofessional and I spend good money with footlocker very disappointing.

I have placed an order yesterday on footlocker - it was successfully ordered and was debited on my bank account.
I was waiting on an email/text for any confirmation - I did not recieve any. So then I called their customer service. I am in dubai, uae, btw. Spoke to their customer service rep for about 10 mins. And for her to only say that she could not do anything about it as their record shows to transaction whatsoever.
How is that possible? I have the confirmation from my bank that footlocker did debit from my account but footlocker said they dont see any records of payment/order under me!

I ordered my son the nike 97s in black and camo online. My order was confirmed by email and shipped but when I received the package I had been sent the plain black versions.
This was the main birthday present for my 14 year old son. It absolutely ruined his day.
I rang customer service and was told I could drive to luton (a very long, difficult journey) or I could print off labels myself, wait for a ups pick up, return the shoe and then re-order. The male customer service rep was unapologetic and made me feel bad because of an address irregularity. I was told I would be sent an email with a discount code but there was no information regarding what discount I would receive.
I found the number for an 'easier to reach' store and rang to check they would have the correct shoes in stock. There was no answer and I rang three times. I then rang back customer services and asked if they could contact the store or check the stock there. I was told that this was impossible. I asked to speak to the manager but was told I could be contacted back by a manager but that this could take up to 10 days.
Fortunately, I then rang the ilford store and the manager or assistant answered and was very helpful. He asked for the order code and checked the stock for me.
I would like to commend his attitude and effort in what appears to be a sea of faceless, uncaring internet-based pseudo-customer service.
I then checked out the other customer feedback online and found a mass of seething, slighted customers, like myself. I would recommend something is done before all custom is lost. I will never order a product from your store online again.
money/gift cards owed to me
This is all going back over time. First I have never ever been able to use any vip coupons, perks or bottom of the receipts coupons (how ever, what ever you wanna call them) everytime I go to use them it's always some excuse "not for these shoes" "doesn't work" "system problems" you name it, I get it. So when I originally complained about this they offered to just send me a $10.00 gift card.. Ok that's nice right? Nope. Never gotten it. But I still shopped and spent my money never even brought it up. Then I finally got a cusomer appreciation type of gift card "I guess from spending so much money" ain't no telling. So I held onto it thinking cool i'll just use it when I see fit. So in august again I purched a pair of shoes in store. Let me say, I went to another state just to get the shoes because they we're the last part near me and online in my size. I get the shoes home, go to put them on then realize it's like a tan stain on the white part of the shoe! Had to return them no replacement because it was the last pair, a pair I may have been interested in wasn't in store. It was over

Let's not even discuss me going to awhole other state just to get the shoes and crap on them. What they say? "well send you out a gift card" here we go with this gift card bs. Did I get this one? No so now we are in september. I call again to get atleast something from someone. I was told because "you've been through so much and just had a bad experience with us, we are gonna go head and email you two gift cards to your email. Look for this today and if by 6 they are not there please call back" now I should have known something was up when said "call back if they aren't there"
Guess what? They never showed. So I call only to have a supervisor tell me "this is unheard of, the girl didn't put in her notes she told you this and you have to wait 48hours and if it doesn't show up, call us back" so I say can't you just pull the call, we don't have to play this kid game "he said" "she said" I get a "there is not a person higher and she didn't put this in her notes" you guys are clearly not here for us. So why do we keep spending our money with you

I order some nike foams online. They came in and they didn't fit. I took them to the store in tyler texas where jasmine session the teller order me a 1.5. After of a week of not having my shoe I called them looking for my package. Then chad from customers service advised me that my shipment was undelivereable and that I could either order again online or I could take my receipt to any footlocker to get my money back. He was also gracious enough to offer me a $25 gift card. So I drove a hour and forty-five minutes back to the store, only to get told I would have to wait another 3-5 business days to receive my money back. So I left the store yet again with nothing. This is very poor customer service. It makes me not even want to buy from foot locker again. They do not conivenice their customers or acommadate them for that matter. I promise i'm telling the world even writing my local news. The stuff as a customer I just had to go thru was so miserable.
kobe 1 protro delivery
Ordered a kobe 1 protro from footlocker last aug 18. Ups emailed me that there's a shipping delay. I asked footlocker if I could get a refund and asked them to inform ups to send the product back to footlocker but they wouldn't allow it, saying that it's the fault of ups. Kianna (manager) she was very unpleasant & unhelpful when I needed personal assistance. She walked away & threw her hands in the air, but when I came back & asked her for a managers name & number chris gonzalez gave me a blank card & refused to put a managers name on said card. & then she continued to tell me that she would not have this conversation with me at this time which I replied with that's fine she could've told me that the first time. I always told her this is not the way you should ever treat a customer who is buying from their store & she could've told me that the first time.

I went into the location in houston at memorial city mall and tried to purchase two items totaling $259.80. The cash register machine froze after it took the money from my bank account. They have not given me my money back. Here it is next week and i'm still waiting for a refund. I am a single mom and I need my money back now! Every time I speak with customer service it's a different response every time. I called my bank and they told me "the merchant has the funds, we are not holding that amount". So basically foot locker has that payment. My bank said I can dispute it with them but it takes like three months! I don't have three months to wait. Foot locker owes me that money and promised to refund it since it was their mistake to begin with.

We ordered a pair of 160.00 af air 260 sneakers through our local footlocker in york, pa. Sneakers arrived, completely wrong shoe, not even close! Called customer service, gave us a 15, 00 gift card, and a big apology, not. Took sneakers back to store, they agreed that there are many mistakes with orders. They processed a new order for these sneakers. Today sneakers arrived, wrong size! Come on guys, what is the issue with your company? My husband is on his way to return these sneakers again~another issue, I called customer service to order a back pack, using the 15.00 gift card for our troubles, towards this purchase. All said and done, guy at customer service, assisting with ordering at footlocker, tells me both my cards are devclined. I told him that the system must be down, he denied this. This transaction should have been aborted, since he said there was an issue. Called both credit card companies, no issues with my cards! 2 hours later a charge comes through, for this back pack, without my authorization! I didnt even know what credit card was used! He went ahead and processed with out my approval! What if I went and purchased from another company? All this is going to the bbb! I have never received such ridiculous service. I am very upset because I placed an online order store pickup for a pair of airmax for my daughter this morning (august 14, 2018). I arrived at the store at around 7:30pm and sales associate told me the shoes was dirty and they rejected the order earlier today. I still haven't received any called or email notifications on this matter and it's going on 9pm. Then I literally waited an hour to speak with a "customer" service representative to then tell me that in order for me to get the shoe I would have to wait 3-5 business days shipped to my house or get a refund and wait the same amount of days. I ask to speak with the manager and christopher #4066 continue to tell me the same thing. I have been a good customer to footlocker over the years but if you look at my order history I have slow down a lot because customer service is no good. Never once did they ask or try to see if the shoe was in another store while inside or over the phone. I clearly asked for a refund on the shoe since I wasn't receiving any "customer service". Dear sir or madam,
I bought a pair of asics nimbus20 at the short hills store on 7/26th order #[protected]; the shoes have not yet arrived at my us address in nj. I called a week ago from asia (where I reside), waited an absolutely ridiculous 30' for the call to go though. After the call was picked up, the person told me after putting me on hold for 10' that there was no inventory & the amount would be refunded to my credit card with an email notification. It s been a whole week now since that phone call, and I have not received the email nor the refund. I just called again to the 24-hour service international #[protected], and waited for 25' before I hang up. Both calls from overseas already cost me half the price of the sneakers. I m absolutely appalled at the bad service of such a big company as foot locker. Please follow up with this order & the refund asap! In addition, you should think of compensating me for all the time & international phone calls expenses, it is not in my nature to to write bad reviews but if this is not taken care of immediately, I have to resort to drastic measures.

Your employee iris delarosa at the footlocker in the parks mall, arlington texas backdoors shoes for herself instead of actually selling them to people in store as well as the rest of the employees there. It's unfair and people like that shouldn't be allowed to work for footlocker it makes your company look bad. She has done this multiple times when they should be sold in store as claimed. The shoes are always "out of stock" because your employees are crooked.
