I have a Freelancer account that I primarily use to hire freelancers for SEO work on my Shopify and WordPress websites. As of August 27, 2024, I found myself unable to log in to my account. Initially, I assumed it was a password issue, but after further attempts, I realized that my account had been suspended.
I still have a balance of approximately $200 to $300 in my Freelancer account. I have always adhered to the platform's terms and conditions to the best of my knowledge, and I cannot understand how I could have violated them. I have not been informed of any specific reason for the suspension.
I am deeply concerned that such a large platform can take such drastic action — closing accounts and blocking access to funds — without providing any clear reason or process for resolution. It is incredibly unsettling and disheartening to lose access to my hard-earned money without any explanation. I request that my account be reinstated, or at the very least, that my remaining balance be returned to me.
Desired outcome: Restore my account to normal or provide a full-refund of the account balance.

I don't remember how much I still have, last time after deposit I should have $409 or something, then I paid someone a milestone payment $80 or something
You’ve clearly put a lot of trust in Freelancer.com, and it’s frustrating to see them shut you out without explanation, especially with your hard-earned money still in the account. Being left in the dark about why your account was suspended is unsettling, and they should address this quickly. They owe you an explanation, if not immediate access to your funds, before they lose your trust completely.
