fraudulent enrollment
On 2/19/11 I put in an online order from Dr. Leonards.com. At absolutely no time did I authorize any charge to my credit card other than my specific order. The order was subsequently canceled. On 3/21/11 I noticed a charge to my credit card of $11.97 by IC Freeshipping.com who I had never even heard of. Upon investigating the charge I found that IC Freeshipping.com is a sister company to Dr. Leonards.com & Dr. Leonards.com had fraudulently used the information they gathered under the auspices of starting my account with them to enroll me in a program with IC Freeshipping.com which resulted in a monthly charge of $11.97 to my credit card. Although I have successfully canceled that enrollment & have been promised a full refund of the $11.97, that doesn't change the fact that what Dr. Leonards.com did was outright fraud. I am filing official charges with the Attorney General of Florida.

scam - don't pay for your submitted claims
The problem with this company is that even if you know what you are paying (like I do), they don't pay you for their submitted claims. They have billed me every month which I have volunteered to, but when I submit a claim to get my money back they promise, it either (a) takes 2 months to receive or (b) they claim they did not receive the paperwork to back it up. They tell you that you must be an active member to receive payment, so if you submit a claim, it takes two months to receive the $10 check, they have now billed you another two months. I get it now how they make money. It is a total behind the scenes scam, they do not deliver on what they promise. Or at least to those that actually use the service.

this is exactly what has happened to me. The most they would refund you on a shipping fee is $15, but at the point they would refund you is at least 6 weeks or more now (btw, I have never received the refund yet!), so they would have billed you for at least 2 cycles ($12.97 each month) now. So if you just do the calculation, you would understand how they make money. I have tried to contact them, but at this point, I have just terminated the membership, which is toooo late already, because they have already billed me twice, and I still have never get my refund back on the shipping... totally a scam and ripoff! liar!

charge to my credit card
I am shocked that I been charged $83.88 by cmt*freeshipping.com [protected] and the transaction was made february 1st. I called their number and they claimed I filled out the information that made them legally able to charge my credit card while I was placing an order to blair. if I did it was under the premis of something needed by blair. I have no interest in any benefit or product they are using for scamming. cmt*freeshipping.com said I could just take the hit since I wasn't paying good enough attention to what I was signing into. it is hard to place an online order or open an accout without being routed to some scam operation that appears to be affiliated with the credible company you are buying from.
Thank you

monthly charges of $11.97 on my checking account
My checking account has one charge of $11.97 on 11/29/10 and another charge of $11.97 holding against it; without my approval I want my money replaced. I don't know what the charges are for and I don't know how they gained access to my account. My name is Loretta Parks

That happened to me when I ordered flowers. Click here to ship for free. They have a service to preview their partner websites. You will be charged that fee if you don't cancel within 30 days. I called and they refunded the money.
Oops! Forgot to put a title-Wells Fargo Mortgage in Tucson
Is anyone interested in consolidating these complaints and actually doing something about it? I am in AZ and am waiting 6 months and counting. I left a message for the boss in Phoenix of the boss in Tucson of the person who has never offered any update without prompting. I have been assured everything is fine. We are both employed same employer many years/760+credit scores/house appraised $80k over loan value. They never needed extra paperwork, it just took longer than expected. Like you all, I begged for updates. I got a callback from both bosses speaking together in solidarity mentioning the application I "think is still active". Oh, oh... What does that mean? I will call in the morning. They got my $440 as well, but I have all emails and voicemails that say all is well as of last week and mention a Feb close date. I got this message today after business hours. Anyone else currently interested in pursuing? I have ideas as to what the next level for us should be..but don't want to say in a public place. I am sure they monitor the sites where the "customers" complain.

I do not ever remember that I subscribed to this so called membership. I was thinking that it was extra shipping charges for regular monthly personel shipment I was receiving, but that wasn't making any sence, so I looked up the website and found that I should be able to cancel this memebeship, which I hope I hear from them within 24 hours and I can cancel.

I would like to have my money back into my account. I didn't join this and i'm pretty piss that they took money without checking with me first!
Do not want "Free shipping" to post to my bank's acct! I have TD Bank. Their fax # is: [protected]. I know that the amount is only $11.97 but this may cause my acct. to OVERDRAFT!
PLEASE MOVE QUICKLY ON THIS MATTER FOR IT HAS NOT YET POSTED TO MY ACCOUNT!
I have just found out the same thing was done to my account and how I missed it for 16 months is unreal. I hardly use that credit card. I demanded they refund my entire amount owed to me as I never authorized this service two years ago. I thank you for your comment here on this company.
A refund of 11.97 will be nice A.S.A.P. It better not overdraw on my Account!
do not sign up under any circumstances
Do no sign up under any circumstances! Be warned. Do not fall for their free shipping gimmick. They just sign you up for an automatically recurring monthly fee "service" called freeshipping.com. A total gimmick. They ask for your credit card information to "refund your shipping" and then after you enter it they tell you you'll be charged monthly for some lame "service" you'll never use. Btw their monthly fee was more than even my one time shipping charge would have been. I still haven't been able to stop them from charging me!

fraudulent and unauthorized charge
Upon purchasing flowers at ProFlowers in early 2009 I began being charged monthly on my Visa credit card. I complained and it stopped. Now, upon reviewing my credt card statement, I noticed that I had been inadvertently and unduly billed since 06/18/2009. I tried to call them but this time to no avail so I sent the company an email and received an answer saying that my membership had been renewed on 11/09/2010! I NEVER signed in for membership or gave permission to be charged by this company. Furthermore, I did not use ProFlowers services in November. This company must be hacking online shops customer listings. It is high time this company is penalized and put out business. SO many people have complained and nothing has been done to date.
I await your contact with a solution.

I DO NOT WISH TO HAVE THIS ON MY CREDIT VISA CARD IT WAS PUT ON THERE MAY 9 2012 AND I HAVE NO USE FOR IT

i just called the number that Emma listed above and got help, they cancelled my "membership" i had signed up for when i ordered off of fragrancenet.net but i did not sign up for a membership, I simply ordered a product, not thinking i would be charged monthly or whatever after doing so! glad i noticed this right away!
shipping refund
Free trial membership 30 days then your bank charged membership fee"s automatically. Total scam : you have extensive trouble to claim your shipping costs refund. After a long effort to do so I figured it had to be a scam and cancelled membership with even more difficulty. Finally from original order in may 2010, I received a refund check#251078 dated 6/11/2010 it was post marked 6/12/2010 but! Was not recieved in my mail until september 12, 2010 when the check was made ' invalid ' after 90 days! Scam : unethical business practices defrauding the public as a trustworthy licenced business contractor>

charges after I canceled
I have been a member of this for 4 months without even realizing it. I remember the first email I got from them with instructions on how to get free shipping and promptly sent them a return email saying that I didn't want the membership and had not signed up for it, please do not charge my card. I didn't think about it after that. I noticed the last charge of $11.97 to my card and called the [protected]. I asked for a refund for the 3 months I was charged they refunded 1 month. I just let it go after that I just wish I would have caught it sooner or called instead of emailed them the first time. The Rep was nice so I didn't get upset. I just took a $24 loss for a service I didnt use. : (

A charge of @12.97 was on by bank account this morning 1-3-14. I do not want to belong to free shipping or what ever it is. There was only one company I ordered online from so I will not order from them again.
I tried calling this number and kept getting a voice telling me the reps were busy and to hold on. Being retired I do have some slack time but not to hold on th the phone all day. This only told me there must be lots of complaints.
Bottom line is I do not want this service and please take it off and never put it on again. email address is linkee03@yahoo.com

umauthorized charges
Dear Sirs,
On April 5th, 2010 I noticed that my credit card was charged the amount of 95.88 USD by a company called: cmg*freeshipping.com, Wethersfie, USA.
While examining the charges I also noticed that last year on April 27th, 2009, I was also charged by the same company the amount of 83, 88 USD.
I did ask my bank to investigate the case but I am also asking you to provide info on what to do. I declare That I never communicated with such a company nor making any kind of business with them.

I would like to reiterate what user "TheBest101" said previously — the company is not a scam. Unlike some companies it does not unwittingly enroll you in their service. I voluntarily and knowingly enrolled when I made a purchase on ProFlowers.com because of the eponymous free shipping offer. The terms of enrollment clearly state that you can get up to $15 off shipping during your free 30 day trial. I made a note in my calendar to remind myself to cancel the membership before that date.
You do not get free shipping on just anything, only when ordering from partnered companies and only if you submit a claim. Submitting a claim is cumbersome — you fill out an online form to get a code and then send a copy of the charge you're claiming along with the code by mail. As you can guess, it takes the traditional 3-6 weeks to process. I was doubtful, but when I called to check on my claim about three weeks later the operator was helpful, amiable and forthcoming about the deal. She voluntarily mentioned that my free trial was coming to an end soon and warned me that I would be charged automatically if I didn't cancel, and reassured me my current claim would continue to be processed even though I cancelled on the spot. No questions asked, no hassle. (I have up to three more weeks to wait for my check to arrive in the mail, but I'm not too worried.) Better Business Bureau gives them an A+ rating.
Of note, I WAS scammed by a company called Easy Saver (aka EMI Encore Marketing International) during the same ProFlowers purchase. They enrolled me in a $14.95/month program without my knowing. I already called my credit card company and will be calling Easy Saver itself when their phones open during business hours. Better Business Bureau gives them a D+ rating.

Horrible service. Lost over $100 in rebates for shipping I could have done. They offered a 25 gift card for signing up but never gave it to me. Called to inquiry on the card and no one could give me any information other then its been submitted. Its been 2 months already. They canceled my account without my premission 6 weeks after opening the account. They gave me trouble on that issue to. Only received 1 check in 2 months, still wating on 5 others that they said they sent already. Lost over $100 but happy not to be doing business with them anymore. More ssues to talk about but not enough time. I don't recommend this site to anyone.
I signed up for 'freeshipping.com', but never actually used it because of the documentation required to be reimbursed for the shipping that was going to be 'free'. I canceled my membership online. Six months later, I discovered in my large monthy credit card bill that I'd been charged $12.97. each month. I canceled by phone and they sent an email vrerifying my cancellation. I'll be looking next month. Didn't realize I needed an email verification before it was official. Tough to debate charges that are 6 months old. Total scam.
Got trial membership, got the intro reimbursement check after more than a month. I canceled membership and got the cancellation notification, if I needed to call the bank if more charges appear, hopefully not! From several "Instant Free Shipping" websites that I checked, none of them shows Freeshipping.com logo/link that you can "instantly got the shipping charge wavered". It left you with the option of claiming for cash back, which is only up to $10 a month. So if you pay almost $13 per month to subscribe to this service and actually none of the instant free shipping websites gives you added benefit -free shipping- then you do the math...
I joined a site called mysteryguild and they offer freeshipping.com to get free shipping, which mind you the link didn't work, so I went to freeshipping.com to try and do it a different way, it also didn't work and then come january they charged me 12.97 for a membership I didn't even realize I was a part of because their site is unclear. So then I called their 1800 number to speak with a representitive. Well she was rude and condecending and basically told me that I couldn't get the money back. And also said she's never heard complaints about freeshipping.com. thanks to freeshipping.com I'm now out almost 30 dollars. They should be called "free"scamming.com
I had bought from proflowers for my girlfriend in February 2017. Afterwards the site offered me a deal to get free shipping, since the site I read was legitimate, I went ahead and signed up for it. Later on I stopped using the credit card and forgot about it. I never recieved emails from freeshipping.com to notify my charges and unuse. Now i have been charged a total of 158 dollars for something I never used or would've needed. Stay away from this company.
I had an awful experience- I thought I would give them a try- but after spending over an hour on the phone today to get my lousy $10 - it definitely was not worth it. I ordered from one of their so called partners- Personal Creations - it said instant credit on the freeshipping.com website- it wasn't happening so I called both sites- turns out I had to go to the proflowers site, order the product by logging in the product number from personal creations site in order to get my $10. Both sites blamed each other and of course it never got resolved. what a lousy way to run both businesses. I certainly will never order from either again.
I just noticed the same $83.88 charge to my account. This charge happened more than 3 weeks after the purchase was made for a mother's day gift, over the internet. These crooks need to have a class action suit filed against them. There is no small print anywhere describing their right or authorization for these charges.
My Visa debit card was charged $83.88 for the benefit of somebody connected to the Insiders-Club at Freeshipping.com!
I never ever ordered anything from them for that amount! They have willfully (see the many other complaints) STOLEN from me and MANY OTHERS! I do hope that the guilty party(s) responsible are prosecuted as the very amount of complaints indicates that a pattern of theft is occuring.
The site for some complaints is as follows;
Good Grief! Are there any honest vendors out there anymore?! I will never shop Proflowers again and will tell all my associates and friends the same. I was told by Freeshipping.com that Proflowers is indeed aware of this little "offer". Kinda like "earmarks" and I am not a congressman! Shame, shame on you and shame on me for sending flowers to my Mom via the internet. Six months later @12.97 per mo. I could have flown them to her myself!
We ordered an Easter basket for my daughter through PersonalCreations.com and saw the "free shipping option". The part that got my attention was that you had to sign up with a different site (freeshipping.com) AFTER your purchase was already approved to be eligible for the "discount". When I clicked the link to freeshipping I looked through the form you have to fill out and stopped dead at the part that said, "For your protection" please enter your credit card number! Uh, I'm not THAT stupid, guys. I can easily see how this scam works on people who are naive, not tech-savvy and/or ignorant to e-commerce sites. There's no reason you should ever offer your credit card number to a third party, especially when it's for a "trial membership".
Reading all of the other headaches associated with freeshipping.com I can see I was wise to steer clear of their bait and switch tactics. The only issue I have right now is that I have to watch my bank account to make sure that PersonalCreations.com didn't end up sharing my bank account info with dubious sites like freeshipping and suddenly start seeing unauthorized charges appearing on my statement.
For the record, it was my wife who found the original site and decided "it was a good deal". She has some learning to do about "if it's too good to be true, then it probably is".
membership fees
I have been charged for this membership fee for 4 months and did not authorize the charges to my account!
They cancelled the membership as of yesterday for me.. And removed the last charge.. But will not remburse me for the 3 remaining monthe that was charged to me. I only order from the vistaprint site for my small home-business once and was told this was a safe site to do business with... Now this happens!
Please be so kind as to remburse me back what you took...

I have received three charges on my debit card from this email address. I have NOT authorized this! I want you to stop taking the $12.00 withdrawal and return to my account the $36.00 you stole from my account. I want nothing to do with your company. I don't have any idea what you do, but I have NOTHING shipped to my home due to the fact I couln't afford to buy anything that could be shipped. The $36.00 is major in my life. Return the money to my account and cancel anything that you think you may be entitled to. What a low life company! I would appreciate immediate cooperation! Rebecca McKee

unauthorized charges
Just as others have stated, I ordered from proflowers.com and now have these charges for $11.97 a month that I never authorized. I didn't eben complete the registration that was obviously trying to get me to buy in to their scam. How do I get these charges returned to me? They don't even answer the phone.

I just now found this $12.97 every month since November of last yr! I do not use this card anymore, so I wasn't even aware of it til I saw it today, and went back 7 months! That's added up to almost $100 of which I never authorized!
I'm getting Text alerts about money being took out of my account that I've not authorized what do I do
I was about to order something months ago and after entering my info, (not in the profile section where it tells you what will happen) I decided not to do the purchase. However, I was just charged $12.97 two months later for the subscription without even entering credit card info into my profile.
I have never signed up for the subscription or completed a purchase and would like to be refunded for the two months of subscription I never purchased.
BEWARE! This company is a scam. According to this company, I clicked on Free Shipping when ordering from Living Social, which I do not recall doing, (nor would I intentionally give authorization to charge my bank account a monthly membership of $12.97 per month). Apparently, I have received this charge for three months before realizing it. I called the company and why/how this was being charged to my account and requested cancellation immediately. Based on the numerous complaints on this site, I don't understand how Free Shipping.com is still in business! Next step is to file a report with the BB and pursue a refund.

poor service, poor reimbursement
I joined freeshipping.com and the service was very poor, bordering on fraudulent. Claims have to be submitted on paper, and the payments when received are not as much as the claims sent in, and are extremely delayed in being received. You will end up paying more for the yearly membership than what you receive back in claims. Furthermore, I submitted a large amount of claims at the end of my membership time period in December, when buying Christmas presents, and when my freeshipping membership expired on Jan 17, I cancelled it. So they stated they do not pay for purchases /claims made a month ago, because my membership was cancelled i.e., in order to be paid anything for those claims, I would have had to renew the membership. It is a HUGE hassle to print paperwork and mail into them and keep track of it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY on this. Just get Amazon Prime which is much easier to use. If freeshipping.com ever decides to pay my claims, I will revise this posting.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
It's true, what a hassle. I printed out about 5 pieces of paper to send them along with postage, it's not worth it, and I still have gotten my refund. I cancelled TWICE now after being charged twice - and what's worse is I am out of work and have no $ in the acct they are charging :( - Hopefully they resolve my issues and refund me back my $ as well. BTW - this website is the only way I found a phone # for them. This is a great help!
fraudulent/unauthorized chrge to debit card account
Ordered Christmas gifts from a website called BettysAttic.com on December 9, 2009. Recieved my product through the mail from Betty's Attic without a problem and in a timely manner. As of today, Saturday, January 9, 2009 I noticed a debit to my bank account for $83.88 from a company called FreeShipping.com. DID NOT AUTHORIZE THIS DEBIT! Called the company and DEMANDED a refund of that money. Got into a confrontation with the lady who I spoke to (did not get a name) and she insisted that I did make the purchase through Betty's Attic. She did have all of my information: my first and last name, my home address and when I made the purchase from Betty's Attic. I believe this company is a scam and gains your infromation through certain on-line catalog ordering companies. If possibe, stay away from online purchasing, BettysAttic.com and by all means, steer clear of FreeShipping.com. They are a crooked and fraudulent company.

6 unknown charges
I started noticing charges from this company last month. I reviewed my statements and they have been charging me $9.97 since June for reasons I do not know!

Pro-Flowers did the same thing to me, only difference is my charges started may 9th 2009 for $9.97 to deliver some flowers to my mother on mother day, & they the free delivery service has been charging my credit card ever since. Blows my mind of this over site on credit card statements, thinking that it was one of my identy theft programs, while working 12 hour shifts 5 days a week. Man they got me for a total of $129.51, 13 months. WE have been shafted! I'll be ruskusing big time.!
The same thing happened to me...I just noticed that there was a pending charge on my bank statement for this month of $9.97, so went back a few months and they have been charging me since May 29th...don't know what it's for. I called and canceled it just now and they said they would send me an email verifying it...if I don't have one by morning, I will call back and raise a ruckus. There ought to be a law...
unexplained charges
For 3 months I saw charges for 9.97 each month from this place, I thought it was for shipping on something we purchased online.in July, I hadn't ordered anything and saw it again.
I called the number [protected] and talked with a Zack who said he was the supervisor and that he could NOT take off the charges that it was authorized as a shipping club to hit our account.
I explained we never signed up for anything and wanted to talk with a supervisor. He said he WAS the supervisor but then gave me a email address of [protected]@freeshipping.com and a name of MaryBeth for another supervisor.
To date, I have not been able to have the charges removed.
I have submitted a complaint to the BBB.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
I received a charge for CMG Freeshipping.com on my card for $95.88 and called to dispute it. They would only refund a prorated amount of $88.88. So I called back and talked to another gentlemen to see why its prorated and he told me i signed a two page form through CAFE PRESS with all the information that they had. I asked him to email it to me and have yet to receive it! He told me he could not refund the other $7.00 bc they had this signed form. When i told him that it overdrew my account, he authorized the full amount to be charged back to my card and i also have his operator name/number and transaction id for the full amount of $95.88. Still waiting for my two page signed agreement...
Another case of "inadvertently" getting signed up for FreeShipping.com and being shocked when $83.88 showed up on my credit card statement. They claimed I not only signed up, but that they sent me an e-mail confirming the signup. I checked all of my emails, including all deleted ones, for the past 3 months. There was no confirmation email. FreeShipping agreed to cancel my membership but said they could only refund $74.23. I am in the process of demanding the full amount of $83.88 be refunded.
I placed an order with Organize-It.com and the little box saying "Click Here for Free Shipping" is extremely misleading. You click on it and fill in the requested information believing Organize-It is going to give you the free shipping. Instead a different company, i.e. FreeShipping.com, is getting you to sign up for a membership in their organization that you have absolutely no interest in. I went back in and cancelled immediately (or thought I had), but somehow it didn't get cancelled and I got billed for $83.88.
This is very wrong, and I hope someone is able to stop it.
Ordered flowers through proflowers and was unknowingly signed up for a monthly payment to cmg freeshipping.com. I previously had to cancel another freeshipping monthly payment that I was also unknowingly signed up for with easy saver from the same order of flowers.
$83.88 was charged to my credit card and I did not purchase anything from this company. No phone # was given with the charge on my bill or to my credit card company.
An unauthorized charge of $83.88 was made against my debit card.
found charge on bankstatement. have no knowledge of transaction. i don't do free shipping for this exact reason!
I have just had the same problem: an unauthorized charge of $83.88 on my check card, pending as of Feb 14. I plan to call Caroline at Proflowers and see if we can get to the bottom of this.
I would hope that Proflowers discontinues its partnership with Clarus Marketing Group ("CMG freeshipping") so as not to tarnish their own reputation with this kind of con.

I just found I've been charged by this company $12.97 every month since this May without any purchase! It does not make sense at all. I called citibank to dispute these unauthorized transactions and it is processing now.
