fraudulent membership charges
Watch out for this Company Freeshipping.com they are fraudlalently collecting money from your account and charging it as membership fee if you order flowers from Pro-Flowers.com. They will get your account info and then debit your account before you even know they are doing it.
Some one commented about a ToS contract but this was not offered, I even refused the offer of free shipping when I ordered the flowers and just recently was billed for their membership fees. Can some one tell me how to stop them? I read other complaints and I feel they are getting more desperate and not offering the ToS contract option any more but sharing info direct with this company... can we go after them now?

charging my ccount without approval
I ordered flowers from Proflowers.com on May 8. I did not know that freeshipping.com was automaticly signing me up for their program. It was for a 30 trail period. I had a pending charge on my bank account on the 8th. It had cleared on the 9th. I called on the 9th to find out about the charge. I was told that I was one day past the cancellation period and that the $9.97 fee would not be charged back. Pending charges can drop off. I have to wait until they clear. I have be cancelled from the program but the $9.97 charge remains.
I really hate Proflowers.com and their underhanded business practice. I was mislead at least 2 times I am aware of and unknown what I will discover over the next few weeks. I some how signed up for money to be taken out of my account and to recieve who knows what. I thought was clicking on links to recieve my discount on flower purchase. However do not believe I got a discount in the first place and now that so called great deal on roses for Mother's day have cost not even more money then expected but frustration and run around. I was promised by two companies that took out $14.95 (2x's) and $9.97 that was deleted from their system and will no longer have money taken from my account unless I re activate my account with them. that wont happen, and crossing fingers that they are not misleading me again and actually be deleted from their account.
Proflowers.com - is practicing poor business practice and frauding many people with all their ads to click on. I will never purchase from this company ever. And hope all others less headaches and frustrations many of us have experienced.
I was tricked!
I was in the middle of ordering flowers for my Mother for Mother's Day on a Pro Flowers web site because they offered Free S&H. I had all of my info in when I was instructed to click here for your free S&H. I didn't see it coming, but it was a pop up.
I clicked on it and it said welcome to Insiders Free S&H blah blah blah and I was getting it free for 30 days then they were going to charge my account $9.99 per month.
I had one heck of a time canceling it and I still have a $1 hold in their name on my Debit Card. It's harder to deal with the bank for debit cards.
Don't get sucked in! I was never able to get back to the Pro Flower Shop.

I was taken to free shipping during a visit to vitacost about 4 years ago, and have been a member ever since. It is not a scam. I get checks back all the time and have sent many people to sign up. If you do much shopping on the internet then I definitely suggest looking at all the merchants that participate. Ebay and amazon are two that I use a lot, and just the savings that I get from those pay for my membership. Go do the math for yourself. My membership is renewing @ the end of the month, and I saved over $150 last year alone. I also use ebates and retailmenot so I pretty much never pay shipping and get extra discounts, and actual cash back.
thanks for posting--these companies are unscrupulous--they post a deal but never really tell you the details of the transaction--i found your post when i googled for info--very very shady operation
Thank you for posting. This opportunity came up and they were not really forthcoming about what they were really all about and if there would be charges in the future if you took advantage of the free shipping this 1 time. They alluded to a risk free trial which sent up the red flags and sent me to Google and that's how I got you. Thanks again for taking time to post for the rest of us who might have succumbed to the allure of saving a few bucks!
freeshipping.com
I just wanted to clear some things up when it comes to this company... It is not a scam! The only way this company gets your information is when you see it's offer at one of their partner website saying you qualify for freeshipping. This is what they say and this is what they will do. Once you sign up, which means entering alllllll of your information in, including address, credit card number, security questions AND a password. Plus you agree to the terms and conditions. You read them right? Because that is what you agreed to. It's not the companies fault you didn't when you said you did. Once you sign in and claim your rebate, you MAIL in the confirmation email you received from the website you ordered at just so they have a proof of purchase. It gives you all of this information when your claim it. It takes 4 - 6 weeks to get the check in the mail. If you see yourself signed up for this, it is your fault and you need to take full responsibility for it. Don't complain saying "this was an unauthorized charged" because it wasn't. Maybe you should watch where you put your credit card number and other information in. And oh ya, there was a reason you went to school so put your reading skills to good use!

They charged me for shipping when they said it was free! Mofos!
Clearly, this is a SCAM website. Never got my advertised rebate. Stay away!
They are keep charging to my credit card. I don't know why and I don't say to do it.
Crap website! They never sent my refund on shipping! Stay away from this SCAM website!
I did not order this service and on Sept 24 the amount of $95.88 was charged to my VISA.
My credit card has been charged a monthly fee of $12.97 since March 2013. I would like the entire $168.61 that was stolen from my account to be refunded immediately. I spoke with Jen at FreeShipping.com (she said she was the only supervisor in the department named Jen). She said FreeShipping.com has a strict "no refund" policy. I told her these charges were fraudulent and she agreed to refund the last three charges due to non-usage of the membership. Well of course there was no usage. These charges were never authorized by me! I asked for a copy of my signed agreement. Of course this was not able to be provided to me. So now I need to dispute this fraud with my credit card company. Thanks a lot, FreeShipping.com!
Don't waste your time with this company. I signed up for their 30 day free trial. I logged on their site on 1/4/13 and it said I had "one more day left" of my free membership. I took that to mean that my trial membership expired the following day. I logged on the next day to continue with my membership at the cheaper rate they offer if you say you are going to cancel, but they had already billed my credit card the full rate. I called customer service, but the woman on the other end of the line was rude in her tone of voice, telling me they don't give refunds. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, who was equally rude and ended up hanging up on me. She should seriously be fired. Really? A customer service supervisor who hangs up on the customer. I explained that I actually wanted to keep my membership, just at the $6.99 rate, and they were not willing to make any adjustments. So the bottom line for them is that they lost a customer over $6. That is a pretty pathetic business practice. If anyone from freeshipping.com is reading this, here is some advice...the trick is to keep your customers. Perhaps the message I should have seen when I logged onto my account was "Your trial offer ends 1/4/13. Your will be billed on 1/5/13 for your continued membership unless you cancel by 1/4/13." I haven't received any checks, so I'll see how that goes. But my advice is to stay clear of these people because they don't know how to treat their customers.
This company stole money from my paypal account and I am fighting them now over that. This is a scam company. I went to facebook and put that they were a scam on their website. Now they have me blocked from theri site. If anyone really wants to get them, go to their site on facebook and leave a warning to others about how this company scammed you.
It says "a member when you made your purchase" so you should be getting a refund?
I signed up, but used a non-reloadable debit card that has a few cents left on it. If I don't like what I see, I'm not out anything :) I would recommend anyone who signs up for a free trial anything, use one of these types of cards to be on the safe side. IMO :)

look on your credit card bill or bank statement. There should be a 10 digit number in the description . That would be a telephone number. They sometimes leave out the dashes so you don't notice it, but it usually starts with 800 or 888. Call them.

Receiving an unknown $83.88 charge
I called [protected] and spoke with someone named Tammy. She explained that the $83.88 is the ANNUAL charge for membership. After this explanation I decided to keep going with the membership because the shipping rebates I've submitted so far will more than pay for the membership fee.
Without my asking, Tammy looked up the list of rebates I had submitted. She told me about them and I was pleased that freeshipping.com had received them and that they were being processed.

I ordered some flowers early in December for the holiday from Pro-Flowers.com only because of a deal they advertised for 10.00 off through Freeshipping.com. One had to cancel the membership with freeshipping.com within 30 days or they would be charged the monthly fee. I cancelled my member two weeks after I bought the flowers. Today a charge of 14.95 shows up on my credit card from Easy Saver. Never heard of them, but I called Pro-Flowers after seeing online that there is a scam with Easy Saver and Pro Flowers. Pro Flowers called Easy Saver/freeshipping.com while I was on the line and Easy Saver/Freeshipping.com will supposedly refund me and not charge me again next month. We'll see. What a scam. Pro Flowers should be ashamed for doing business with such an unreputable company such as freeshipping.com/easy saver.

I thought this pop up was part of my jcpenny.com on Nov24. shopping, then when I enrolled they charged 2$ without notice, then a week passed by they charged 19.99$ monthly fee to my card but the bank found it was suspicious so they declined it… what a fraud… I would still want my 2$ back
You try the free trial on line and once you forget about it they keep billing you forever. Ihave lost over $500.00 over the last 4 years. That is a scam.
I was charged 19.00 and I didn’t order anything. What is this charge and I’d like to r3move it from my account please.

I was charged 16.99 every month since May of 2020. I never agreed to this membership. I purchased a covid mask for a few dollars and it never arrived. Later I purchased a t-shirt and it came in the mail. That is all I purchased from Fanatics. My Bank found these charges. I called shipping.com and they canceled a membership that I never agreed to.

Hello,
I just checked my credit card and found a charge from CMG* Freepshipping.com. For $9.97. I don't know who they are. I didn't do any kind of business with them. What can I do?
Thank-You,
Christie A. Lescault

I purchased flowers from PROfLOWERS for Mother's Day, the advertisement stated the cost per unit was &19.95 with free shipping available. The actual cost per unit averaged $59.00 and in addition, my credit card was billed $10.97. I will be forwarding an e-mail to both PROfLOWERS and CMG*Freeshipping.com voicing my complaint
Received a charge of $83.88 U.S. for an Canadian equivalent of $96.21 and I did not receive any product or service. What is this charge for and where did it come from?
CMG*Freeshipping charged me 8.97 and I did not order anything then, the very next transaction is EasySaver charge for $14.95.
I will have do complete a study and see how long this has been going on.
$83.88 was posted on my debit account within my checking acccount on 6/8/09, unauthoried. I have filed a complaint with my bank, Wachovia, as they would not handle it online or otherwise, except in writing. This is outrageous and should be stopped.
call [protected] I called them and the guy I spoke with allowed me to "cancel" the account in which I did not create in the first place. I gave them my email and he pulled up my account. I was lucky enough to have the last 3 months refunded to me. however, they still charged me for the other 11 months worth of charges that slipped past me.
i was just charged 83.88 on my credit card from this freeshipping place and i'm not paying it, that's for sure!
The same here, ordered flower for my mother's birthday from Pro Flower and thought they had a promotion on a free shipping. Turn out this freeshipping.com company starts charging me for 11.97 monthly.
I don't live in the states, can anybody there find out who is the right authotiry to report this scam? Something like customer protection agency? This bogus got to stop!
Same thing happened to me for 11.95. When I called them and told them that I have seen that they are fraudulently charging people she said no we are a reputable company. I ordered flowers from Proflowers.com on Nov 24, 2009. The charge came through today, Jan 5, 2010. I am reporting them to the California Attorney General and my bank. When I told her that these are unauthorized charges the lady started yelling at me and told me to shut up and listen to her. She said they would refund the money in three to five business days. We will see!
i am with out words, i check my online banking every day. Yesterday nothing, today $88.83 has been taken out. What am i suppose to do now?
