I had a 2 tank hot water system and it wasn't working. Archie came out and clearly showed me the problem with the piping, and prepared a quote for me. I suggested a change to delay some replacements until the future, and he revised his plan to accommodate future tanks, and the system now works. (For the first time since another plumber installed it). Gandy is consistently the most competent company in our area, for furnaces, hot water tanks, gas fitting, just the best employees.

Gandy installed a new furnace and new heat pump in September . Jordan provided an excellent service to our two units. He explained everything that he was doing and also provided some troubleshooting help to avoid problems ahead. He was thorough, courteous, and very professional in his conduct. He left us 4 replacement filters for our unit to change out in the year ahead as we are on the monthly plan. 10 stars for him!

We had our first introduction to Gandy Installations when we were looking for an AC in 2008 and opted for a Heat Pump instead. Since then we have used their service several times and every time the service crew comes out we feel good about it, friendly approachable people, knowledgeable, kind and with good work ethics! Just had another crew in for cleaning and today Luke for maintenance on fireplace, furnace and heat pump - fantastic. We recommend this company and their employees for sure and will call them again. It was a wonderful experience to have Gandy Installations Ltd. install my Air conditioning system. The installation was complex but Tony Brown and his crew of Cory Davis and Mike did an incredible job. So were the plumbers who moved the hot water tank. I am retired now from Mechanical Engineering where in the beginning of my career I designed Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning systems so I speak from experience. Furthermore, I have Gandy service my furnace every year and I would be very reluctant to have someone else. Highly recommend Gandy Installations!

Gandy Installations has been providing excellent service maintaining our furnace, heat pump & HWT for over 20 years. The Gandy staff have always proven themselves to be knowledgeable, polite and honest. The absolute best way to describe Gandy Installations is: reliable — RELIABLE �" reliable. They will be there when they say they will. After all these years, my family will ABSOLUTELY continue to use Gandy Installations — we honestly have zero interest in hiring anyone else. That is not to say there aren't other great companies out there — we just feel we found the BEST company for us so there is no need to look for something we ALREADY have.

We started using Gandy about four years ago for a replacement high efficiency furnace and heat pump. Gandy was terrific. The price was extremely competitive, I knew exactly what I was paying for, and the installation was done to the highest standards. In the midst of the pandemic, we had them install an air purifier. The price was incredible, the installation was done to the highest standards, and it works very well. We now use them for the annual maintenance. They show up on time, the fellows are informative, professional and cordial, and the work is to the highest standards. This is just old time service at competitive rates. My wife and I are thrilled.

I have been a customer of Gandy Installations and its predecessors for more than 30 years. In all this time I have found them to be a thoroughly professional company. They have always taken the time to explain the work they were going to do, and the results they achieved, verbally and/or in writing . Recently they reinforced my appreciation of the quality of their service by being very considerate of our wishes and difficulties. They made extra visits to ensure that the problems we had were repaired to our satisfaction. Their staff, both in the office and in the field, are always helpful and pleasant and ready to listen and understand our issues. I recommend them unreservedly.

It is so-ooo refreshing to find a company that says what they do and [emphatically !] does what they say ! From our initial exposure to "Rob" through the entire removal of our old furnace and installation of our new ...the entire procedure was seamless and painless. Their explanation of the beautiful new thermostat was complete and I even understood its settings from the 'get-go'. Their subsequent follow-up for minor adjustments - impeccable! Oh yea...almost forget - the duct cleaning crew...same professionalism and attention to detail. They even vacuumed all the areas that they had worked in. Gandy did a superb job installing our new high-efficiency furnace, smart Wi-Fi thermostat and energy-efficient tankless water heater. Rob, our salesman, was terrific. He answered all our questions and made recommendations for correcting our duct system and maximizing space in our small furnace room. He was prompt, knowledgeable and provided a comprehensive quote with dispatch. The crew, Mickey, Mike, and David did a top-notch job of installing the equipment. They were experienced, efficient, competent, and paid attention to details. Our home is now much more comfortable and the furnace is very quiet. Gandy exceeded our expectations. We are so happy to have discovered Gandy and highly recommend them. They are the best in the business.

I called Gandy regarding a heat pump/air conditioner problem. It just quit after working flawlessly for the last few months, since we bought the house. The equipment was only 4 years old, but I am a member of Gandy's VIP Club...pay a small monthly fee all year round, and receive an annual maintenance service for all your HVAC equipment, no charge emergency call-out within 24 hours of a problem, and duct cleaning after 4 years! The technician was here the SAME DAY, diagnosed the problem, replaced a required part, which he had in his truck, and was done within 90 minutes...all with NO CHARGE due to warranty and my VIP Club Membership! EXCELLENT SERVICE from a long-established local company! Thanks GANDY!

There are many crews operated by qualified project managers that quote and arrange work. Gandy crew managed by Doug C in Langley is truly a professional team for electrical, HVAC custom work, and diverse general contracting which in our case also handled carpenter & drywall. If you have a multi trade job with hardware install or require advanced planning, schematics or dimensional drawing then this crew would be an excellent choice. Overall, they provide good value, even with some billing concerns were assessed. They honor their quotes and contracts, and for the most part adhere to deadlines and communicate in a timely manner, addressing any complications. They are honest and not confrontational during inspection/approval/changes, providing a reassuring satisfaction. I have used them 2 times for electrical and HVAC and will again. Highly recommended.

We contacted Gandy in 2012 to install an air conditioner. They have since serviced the air conditioner and the furnace every year. A couple of years ago we had Gandy install a new furnace which entailed moving the duct work from the crawl space to the main floor and installing the furnace in the utility room on the main floor. The furnace is now in an easy to service area. It is easy now to replace the filter without having to go into the crawl space. Today, the Gandy technician came to the house because we had a leaking gate valve. He did a thorough inspection and not only did he adjust the water pressure entering the house but gave us three quotes for work we might like to have done. All in all he was very thorough. Gandy is scheduled to visit again in June to service the air conditioner and the furnace. We have been very pleased with the workmanship and courtesy of the Gandy technicians and will continue to use them.

We switched to Gandy about ten years ago after some bad experiences with another furnace company. We've since had them service our furnace on an annual basis, and purchased a new furnace from them about five years ago. More recently we had an air conditioner installed in January. The salesman Richard took the time to carefully review all options with us, explaining clearly the pros and cons of different units with careful consideration of what would work best specifically for our home. He even made a special trip back to our home after it was installed to personally deliver a cover that we had ordered. The installation itself went very smoothly with three technicians and two electricians working on it. Michael D, Trevor, Mathew and Tyler were all great! Gandy may not be the cheapest out there, but they are fair and we feel that we can trust them. They are also extremely knowledgeable! We would recommend Gandy as a trusted furnace/air conditioner supplier/servicer to anyone. Five stars for Gandy Installations!

I had my Gandy Installations mini split heat pump system installed last June , just before the heat wave. I am so pleased with it. Cory came to my home to provide me with a quote after some difficulties I had with the initial assessor. Max addressed my concerns and sorted the problem out. Cory was clearly very knowledgeable with all aspects of the installation process and had great customer service skills, verbal and written. The installation crew was very professional and respectful of my living space. I just had the one year service check up done today, (first year post installation service is free!). Luke the technician was very professional and helpful in reviewing with me some features on the remote controls that I had forgotten about. I'm impressed with the quality of communication I experienced from this company starting from initial telephone reception and emails and text follow ups to inform me of the process and answer questions I had. I have no hesitation in recommending this company for this kind of work. Gandy Installations.

When I was checking around for someone to do maintenance service on hot water tank and gas furnace Gandy Installations was recommended by a neighbour. I wanted somebody to check that everything is OK, and do whatever is required to keep things OK. CONS: The worst thing about the company was that they are busy and could not fit me in for few weeks as my needs was not emergency. I was given service date but not time. So I had to keep my calendar free for the whole day. PROS: I was contacted by sms and by email to inform me that technician will arrive in 15-20 minutes. It was closer to 30 minutes when he arrived. Email also contained work order #, my address, technician's name, photo & mini bio of his qualifications. Donny was courteous. He said I could watch him work but that it would take some time as there is series of diagnostics that need to be done, and that he could bring my attention to anything that requires attention. He did tell me all the things that are still ok as well as parts that are showing age and could fail in future. He very patiently answered my many questions about hot water tanks vs tankless systems, gas furnaces vs heat pumps, air ducts, dryer vent, gas vs electric, etc. After Donny left, I received 2 page report with 44 items checklist. Was I happy with service today? YES Would I use them again for maintenance service? YES Would I use the for new installation needed in future? MOST LIKELY Would I recommend them to friends & famil? YES
