I bought some portable Generac generators from Gardner Inc. and I have to say, I'm not too happy with the parts that come from other suppliers. Can you believe Gardner Dixie Sales charged me $7.03 for just one nut? The cost of parts for the generators is way too high, and it's really disappointing.

I bought a Vacmaster stick VSG2101 from Gardner Inc. in July . The product came with a 1-year warranty, but I also decided to get a 3-year warranty for extra protection. Unfortunately, the vacuum broke in October, and when I reached out to Gardner Inc. to get a replacement, I was informed that the unit had been discontinued and was no longer available. They advised me to fill out a "Vacuum Replacement Form" and assured me that I would receive a refund for my purchase.
Since then, I have been in constant contact with the company and have sent them all the necessary documents they requested in order to process the refund. However, it is now April, and we still haven't received the refund.

The service and sales at Gardner Inc. are really bad. I talked to one of their reps who suggested a "repair kit" to fix a problem I had with my power washer. The issue was that water was spraying out of the downstream chemical injector port on the power washer unit, which had nothing to do with the plastic tubing they sent me as the "repair kit". When I called to return the item and get a full refund, they said I had to pay for the return shipping and a 20% "restocking fee". It's completely their fault, but they still expect me to bear the cost. I reluctantly give them 1 star, and even that is too generous for them.

Waited a whole week just for Kyla B to tell me to send 'em all again. Waited another 3 weeks and still nothin'. I talked to a bunch of people at the call center like Mary E, Jessica B, Kyla B, and a bunch more, but they all say HQ gotta handle the refunds and it takes like 3 business weeks. Well, it's been over 2 MONTHs and I still ain't got my money back! I been waitin' for this refund for so dang long. Doris P was supposed to call me and give me a timeline, but she never did. I left her a bunch of voice messages, but she ain't respondin'. How the heck do I get my refund?

Had a really bad experience with Gardner Dixie Sales. I needed a TuffTorq transmission for my Husqvarna riding mower with two transmissions. TuffTorq told me to contact Gardner Dixie Sales, their exclusive distributor. But guess what? Gardner Dixie Sales refused to sell me the transmission and insisted that I go to one of their "certified repair services" that was a good 30 miles away from me. So, I had to deal with this guy named ***, who goes by the name of "***" now as "***." I had to pay him in advance, but he installed the transmission all wrong. As a result, the new transmission blew up and took out the second one too. I took it back for warranty replacement, but after waiting for nearly 3 months and them doing absolutely nothing, even though TuffTorq said they would cover both transmissions under warranty, I had to take matters into my own hands and replace both transmissions myself. TuffTorq was really helpful, but I couldn't even get in touch with anyone in charge at Gardner Dixie Sales. So, all things considered, NEVER agree to their referral to one of their dealers.

I think Gardner Dixie dont merit the star it took to open the edit box. Ive had questions about the assortment of Greenworks lawn tools I bought LAST year. In that year I have yet to connect with anything remotely like a valid customer service operation. In roughly 7 total hours of hold time Ive been hung up on repeatedly by unqualified personnel who simply will NOT involve more competent people, & I havent received ONE reply to I dont even know how many emails. A year ago I was making allowances for Covid - since then weve all had a year to figure that out & HANDLE IT, & Gardner Dixie simply doesnt. Example: Todays FIRST attempt - I sat on hold for more than 30 minutes before the call was picked up. I told her what my primary problem is, & I told her that the unit of interest is a 40V, 4 Ah, 20 lawnmower. I tried to tell her that my issue HAS to be common & that I wanted to talk about a solution. She evidently heard none of that, the next thing she said was, is it electric or battery operated? Skipping right past the part where a battery-powered device IS an electrical device, 40Volts, 4 Amp hours answered that question before she asked it. I pointed out as much & asked to speak with any person who could understand that. She basically put me on hold for nothing & let me sit there until I got tired of it, hung up, & tried again. Each attempt totaling just under 3 hours total time yielded a similar result. On my last attempt I made it very clear that I was losing any pretense of patience, & that they needed to consider their obligation to Greenworks shareholders at the least. I left my name & number, then stepped outside to help a neighbor with a ladder, leaving my nearly discharged phone inside on the charger. When I came back in I had a missed call from a number publicly listed as Gardner Dixie. Yes, I had to do the reverse look-up as there was NO MESSAGE indicating who I could call back. This is NOT valid customer service, & Id have to suggest that the Greenworks executive team that tolerates this abysmally poor representation of their brand amounts to less-than-valid corporate governance. I have less than 700 sq ft to mow. The rest of the property around a nice, 121 yr old downtown residence with a large garage is under decades-old pavers. Simply put, my yard tools dont get anything at all like hard use, & I think a conversation about resolvable performance issues is reasonable. Gardner Dixie stands as a barrier to that conversation, & they GRIEVOUSLY discredit Greenworks - or perhaps just accurately represent Greenworks. Gardner Dixie does NOT merit the single star required to initiate this review - they just dont.

I bought a Kenmore Vacuum, model BC2005, from *** in October . Unfortunately, in March 2022, it stopped working. I contacted Gardner Inc, where they informed me that I needed to fill out a replacement form. They assured me that once they received the completed form, I would receive a replacement within 15 days. It has now been almost 2 months, and despite sending multiple emails asking for an ETA on my replacement, I have not received a resolution. I have also made several calls, requesting to speak to a supervisor and asking for a comparable model if the one I have is not available. However, each time I call, I am told that someone will get back to me, but no one ever does.

I bought a *** vacuum on 6/22/2022. The part that holds the dirt separated from the motor. I made a claim on Sept. 6, 2022 and they said I would get a new vacuum in 5-7 days (probably sooner since it was coming from NC). I waited 7 days and called again. I talked to Jessica B and she said I would get the vacuum in 5-7 days. I waited 8 days and called again, but they said they couldn't find my claim. I asked to talk to a supervisor, but they refused to talk to me. Ron W, the supervisor, (through Kyle, customer service) asked for the information to be sent for the 16th time. After 57 minutes, they said they would process the claim. It will take 9 days to do the paperwork and then 7-10 days to ship it. I offered to drive to Browns Summit, NC to pick it up, but they hung up on me.

I bought a 12 Gal Vacuum/Blower for $100 on 6/09/2022. I used it a few times and noticed it wasn't sucking at all. I contacted Gardner in November to report the problem and they told me to send all the necessary papers. I sent everything they asked for and cut the power cord like they wanted, and sent a photo as proof. I sent all the info on November 15th, 2022. I didn't hear back, so I called them again about a week later. They said they're working on it. I got an email on Dec. 5th saying my unit was being shipped and should arrive in 15-20 days. It's now January 10th, 8pm, and I still haven't gotten a replacement. After looking it up, I found out this is a common problem with this company. So I'm gonna try harder to get a replacement or refund, like they suggest online.

This company owes me a new vacuum cleaner and they've been giving me the run-around for almost six months. They initially told me in early December that my vacuum cleaner was still under warranty and they would send me a replacement part. They said it would arrive by 3/20/22, but it never came. Then, about a month ago, they said the replacement part would take too long, so they would give me a brand new vacuum cleaner instead. I provided all the necessary documents, and they said it would arrive within 15 to 20 business days. On 5/9/22, I asked for an update, and now they're saying it won't arrive until 6/30/22. This is not acceptable. It shouldn't take eight months to replace a vacuum that's still under warranty. I feel like they're just giving me the run-around and constantly changing their promises. They even asked for my phone number multiple times, but they never contacted me. I'm attaching all the email exchanges between me and the customer service representative. I apologize if they're a bit disorganized, there were so many of them.
