They took out $47.91 from my account two times last month
They took out $47.91 from my account two times last month. I called two times, they said they know about it, but still no refund yet.
They didn't pick up all the trash, so I called them on 3/24 and let them know
They didn't pick up all the trash, so I called them on 3/24 and let them know. They said they would come on 3/25 to pick it up. I called again on 3/35 because they still hadn't picked up, and they said they would come on 3/26. However, they didn't pick up on 3/26 either.
Gateway Disposal is a trash company that just won't pick up my garbage from inside my container
Gateway Disposal is a trash company that just won't pick up my garbage from inside my container. It's like the garbage man thinks it's fun to throw trash out of my van and into my yard. Can you believe it? I don't have a choice but to use them because they're contracted by the city. Let me tell you, their customer service is just plain awful.

Complaint *** was closed, like I said in my complaint
Complaint *** was closed, like I said in my complaint. They'll tell you whatever you wanna hear. They never picked up the trash they left behind until the next scheduled time. They did come back and picked up the trash at #27 graybrooke, but not at my house.
Gateway Disposal picked up my trash can by mistake
Gateway Disposal picked up my trash can by mistake. Now we have nowhere to dump our trash. I contacted their corporate office and they said we have to wait a week to get our trash can back because they're too busy to deliver it to our home. They also refused to give us a credit for the week we have to go without trash. Their solution was for us to just accept the mistake and buy a new trash can in the meantime. They also said we couldn't speak to a supervisor because they're too busy.
Every week, it's always something different with Gateway Disposal
Every week, it's always something different with Gateway Disposal. They give me a limit on the amount of trash I can put out - two containers and no more than four bags. I consistently set out the same amount of trash every week, but they just don't pick it up. So, I decided to call and talk to the supervisor, but guess what? They were gonna charge me an extra $25.00! Can you believe it? The supervisor emptied the container they provided, then put the bags I had in there and dumped it again. And get this, they said that counted as two dumps! I've been with this company for three whole years, and they still can't get it right.
But that's not all, folks. They also don't bother picking up any trash that falls out of the container, leaving it scattered all over the street. I've complained about this too, but it seems like they just don't care. It's frustrating, to say the least.
I called Gateway Disposal on 7-22-22 'cause they didn't pick up my trash
I called Gateway Disposal on 7-22-22 'cause they didn't pick up my trash. They told me it's 'cause I hadn't paid my ***. I looked up on my bank *** shows I did Pay on 7-6- 22. I called my bank, *** Credit Union...they gave me the reference # *** code # ***. For $ *** ...my account shows they took my money but they say they can't find it. It's illegal to live in *** & not pay trash service. I paid & I don't want any trouble from them or the city saying I didn't pay. I called *** & let them know also. But Gateway just keeps saying they can't find my payment. I'm not paying a 2nd time when they already took my money. That's not fair. Please help.
I signed up for autopay for my **** which is due the 30th of each month
I signed up for autopay for my *** which is due the 30th of each month. I realized the first month it processed the 29th which I thought was due to the memorial day holiday. For this month it started running 3 days before the due date, causing an overdraft in my bank and an $18 fee. I called to get a refund or credit on my account for that $18 from Gateway Disposal and the woman in charge of billing (***) told me the company has the right to run my card as early as the 15th of the month so they will not take responsibility. This is not listed on my paper *** or on their website. She refused to give me the owner's full name - said his only name was *** - that he was the only person she reported to, that I could not call his direct extension to leave a message, and he was always out on trucks and didn't have time to talk with customers, but she would leave my message. I told her I already called 2 days ago and that no one had returned my call yet so I would be calling back.
I moved back to Missouri 2 weeks ago
I moved back to Missouri 2 weeks ago. My house used to be a rental property. I called to set up trash service and there was a $31 balance at the address not in my name. Instead of arguing about the balance, I agreed to pay it and asked the company to send me a bill for it. I should have received 2 separate bills, one for the past balance for the renter and one for my new service. I received a bill that is due July 30. The balance was for $77.50, meaning they combined my 3 month service and the past due amount. I called about this and spoke to *** who was very rude and said I had to pay it today. I said I did not as it is not due until July 30 and asked them to separate the two bills like I was told they would do originally. She said they would not do that. I told her I am a new customer and would not pay today. I called back to make a complaint about *** and the experience I had. I then received a collection letter threatening me to pay the bill. So far I have only had 2 pick ups and my bill is not due yet, why am I receiving a collection notice. I called and got *** again. I asked to speak to someone else and was transferred to Tracy. She said I owe $7.72 for 2 pickups. I asked about the past due balance and again they said I was in collections and needed to pay it today. I again asked them to separate the bills and they said they can't do that. This is so ridiculous and because of this experience I no longer want to be a customer, again I am being charged for something that wasn't even my bill and they are trying to send me to collections.
I moved to Florissant in July, it's now November
I moved to Florissant in July, it's now November. So I've been with this company for about 4 months. They skipped my trash on Monday Nov.1st. I put my trash can out every Sunday so it's already out for Monday. So I go to work Tuesday and come home around 5pm and noticed they never came to get the trash. I called and the business was closed because it was a little after 5pm. I called next morning which was Wednesday. I spoke to a woman that answered and told her my problem. She said I should've called within 24 hrs but I told her I tried but they were not open when I got home from work. She said she will dispatch the supervisor. I get home Wednesday, trash is still there. I call today (Thursday morning around 8am), the same woman answers. I tell her my problem. This time she says she doesn't see any notes in the system that I called yesterday. I said well I have time stamps in my phone to show that I've been calling since Tuesday. She says well I don't see it. So I ask for a supervisor. She says no one is here but me. Well can I get your supervisor's name and number. She says no he can't talk while he's out working. I had to ask for his name more than twice before she gave it to me. She said his name is Pete. I asked for her name she said Saundra. She was so rude to me the entire time. She kept making me feel like it's my fault that the trash wasn't collected. She never said sorry or apologized for their mistake. She just kept saying you should've called within 24 hours and left a message, like it's my fault that they skipped my trash. So even if I would've called and left a message, you still would not have gotten it until Wednesday so what's the difference. At this point I was annoyed, angry, and confused by all of this. So yes I started to get an attitude also. I really wish I can have a different company. They need to hire a new person to answer calls because she clearly doesn't know how to resolve issues professionally.
I was out of town and when I got back on Thursday, July 23rd, my husband told me that our trash wasn't picked up
I was out of town and when I got back on Thursday, July 23rd, my husband told me that our trash wasn't picked up. I was confused because the last bill I got said "ON AUTOPAY-DO NOT PAY" at the bottom. I set up autopay in April using ACH because I didn't want to keep changing the account every time I got a new card. After hearing this, I logged in online that night and checked the billing history. It still said it was on autopay. But there was a note on the first page of my account saying services were stopped because of payment. I decided to pay the full balance right away so I wouldn't have to deal with the payment issue later. But when I checked my bank statement, I saw that the payment didn't go through. I was confused because I know I set it up and it was accepted. I decided to call them the next morning because I have a week's worth of yard waste, trash, and recycling that needs to be taken care of, and I wanted to understand what was happening. I called on Friday, July 24th, and spoke to a representative named ***. She was really rude and kept interrupting me when I was talking. I wanted to know what was happening with my account, but all she could say was that I didn't pay. I explained the statement I got about autopay and not paying the bill. I asked if they could still collect my trash since I paid for the whole service already. She said no and that I would have to pay an extra $15 to schedule it. I asked why because I never got a notice saying I was late, and I already got charged a late fee. I asked to speak to a supervisor because her tone was unprofessional and she seemed really annoyed. She said there was no supervisor or manager available and no one else I could talk to about the issues. I kept asking questions and told her how unfriendly she was being. I asked to speak to anyone else but her, but she hung up on me. I called back multiple times, but my calls weren't answered and went to an answering service. I called from another number and got the information of another representative named *** from a different representative. I want answers about my account and why I'm getting three penalties (no service for a week, late fee, extra fee for pickup) for something I didn't know about. The statement that was supposedly sent on July 3rd isn't even on my online account. And even if it was, there wasn't enough time to address it anyway. There should have been 30 days to deal with the statement sent on the 3rd.
