The Colorado Springs Gazette has received multiple calls from me over the 5 years I've lived in my home
The Colorado Springs Gazette has received multiple calls from me over the 5 years I've lived in my home. Each time they confirm that I'm indeed on their no soliciting list and apologize. However, I still continue to receive their advertising newspapers full of coupons. Twice I've asked for a supervisor to call me regarding this issue and been told to expect a call from a district manager, but one has never called me. Many of these papers are in front of my neighborhood homes for days or weeks.

I ordered 3 months of the gazette to be delivered every Wednesday and Sunday starting 02/3 that Wednesday I did not get my paper I called on that Thursday 2/4 to cancel they said to give them to this Sunday 2/7 to make it right and deliver the paper. Once again the paper was not delivered I want to cancel and get a full refund due to them not holding their end of commitment they are refusing to give me my full refund stating that I started a 3 month commitment I said yes but you have not provided me with my service they canceled the subscription but are refusing to give me back my money of $24.37.

The Gazette throws out Peak Deals all along our complex driveways, causing trash to pile up and a hazard to residents who must go along and clean up the dirt and contaminated waste created by unwanted bundles of ads. Many in our complex are elderly and tripping over or having to repeatedly bend over to pick up these throwaways just to put in the trash is a risk to their health. Many have called the Gazette to have the deliveries STOP, but they continue to throw them out twice a week on Wednesdays and Sundays. It is irresponsible of the Gazette to continue to throw basically what is trash out onto our drives when the trash is unwanted and has been requested that it stop. PLEASE have some consideration for others and stop trashing our grounds.

I cancelled my subscription and would like a refund of the unused balance. I am a long term customer. (25 yrs +)
I signed up for the Sunday only edition of the Gazette Telegraph as I left the grocery store. As I was not using the paper I called and cancelled it by phone. The Gazette stopped my paper delivery prior to the end of the billing cycle. My account was on auto payments, but I keep getting a paper bill. I have written to cancel my subscription 2 times in addition to my initial cancellation phone call I made. Per my phone call 7/28 I was told I can not cancel my paper in writing because it is against their account terms. I don't believe this is a legal practice. I was told that my account was cancelled, but the Gazette issued a special edition paper which extended my billing cycle. The special edition is part of the subscription, BUT not part of the subscription fee, so I am being billed for the special edition with a paper bill. How is a paper part of a subscription but not part of the fee? I did not request the special edition paper above or in addition to my Sunday paper delivery. Whey can they bill me for something I did not order and if it is part of the subscription it should also be part of the subscription fee. I believe they are harrazing me to generate additional revenue. These are questionable business practices and certainly deceiving. I did not receive anything from them explaining this I signed up on a guys cell phone as I walked out of the grocery store. The Gazette is taking advantage of their subscribers.

Received a notice from my credit card company that The Gazette had charged $38.74 to my card. had not authorized . Upon calling I was told that I had given them permission to collect automatically. Do not believe this as I do not give that permission to anyone.. Told the lady that I wanted to cancel my subscription and requested that my credit card be reimbursed. her answer was we do not reimburse accounts. .i tried to explain that I had not requested them to take money from my card. also that I had renewed in September for 26 weeks which would throw renewal into march. She then told me that I had been in arrears in Sept. so the new expiration date is Feb.4 2020. I did not agree with her but told her again that I wanted to cancel and wanted my money refunded. Again she said they do not refund. I said it is not due until February 4.I want a refund. She hungup

As a result of the Gazette dropping the TV schedule in the paper, I attempted to cancel my Subscription. Since I paid on an annual basis, the paper, refused to refund the ten months remaining in my subscription. I feel the breach the contract I had with them by reducing the quality of their product and should have refunded the remainder of my payment.
I cancelled my subscription in November and am still receiving papers I do not want. I have called multiple times and emailed but our address continues to receive papers. Then the Gazette started sending bills for the unsolicited papers they keep delivering and I started receiving harassing phone calls. They wanted me to resubscribe while at the same time saying I owed a balance. By their logic, I am not a subscriber but they want me to pay anyway? It's completely dishonest and they are trying to extort money from previous patrons. I am tired of receiving calls and cleaning up their litter out of my yard twice a week. I even put up a sign saying that this address is not a subscriber and not to leave newspapers in the yard, which was ignored and their delivery person left a newspaper next to anyway.
I subscribed for a paper at a gas station promotion in November
I subscribed for a paper at a gas station promotion in November . When I called to cancel the paper in January I was informed the subscription had been cancelled on 1 December somehow, they said they received an email, I did not send one, I did not care I only wanted to cancel, how it happened was no concern. In April the sent me a bill for the cancelled subscription, dated 21 April, Postmarked 23 April. I called 0757 MT, 5 May , I spoke with Karsten he said they had to reopen the Cancelled subscription to keep their accounting straight but that everything was cancelled from this point forward. I told Karsten I wanted nothing more to do with them and for them to forget they had any business with me Ever. On 5 May I began receiving their electronic subscription. I want them to do what Karsten said they had done which is forget they have Ever done business with me. At this point I consider them a virus.

I regrettably signed up with a digital subscription to the Gazette, of course the bribe was introductory pricing and a $25 Amazon gift card
I regrettably signed up with a digital subscription to the Gazette, of course the bribe was introductory pricing and a $25 Amazon gift card. I think I was careful not to use a credit card, but will have to check my statements to be sure. I never used the Digital subscription and thought I was done with the Gazette, not until I started receiving a bill which I think was in the rear, but I'm sure the Gazette will act state that they were up front and legit. Since I was not using the Gazette, no paper and no digital access, I just ignored the bills, but they just kept coming as you would expect from the Gazette. Remember their motto is "No Refunds", not "Satisfaction Guaranteed" as you'd expect from a legitimate business. I finally called them the week of 2/8 and asked them why I was getting billed? They told me the $47.16 was for a Digital subscription from 9/9 thru 12/25. A subscription I never used, at least during this time. They refused to do anything.

With the last regularly delivered paper of our 7-day subscription to The Gazette, we received a letter stating that we would no longer be receiving a daily delivery, just Sunday only. After 5-6 calls, we discovered that the Gazette sub-contracts it's delivery service to a third party. We spoke to the Director of Operations for this service, V.C., a couple of times and she was to call us 7/19, but did not. It seems, I was told, that our rural route is not worth the service's time and money to deliver us the paper. I offered to do a short-term contract to deliver papers to my street and to Pawnee, the street south of us, thinking that in September, people would be interested in working again. This was not met with any enthusiasm. As a Gazette subscriber since 1983, we are very confused with the lack of interest in delivering to us ( we know workers are currently hard to find), but I did offer to pick up the papers and deliver them myself. It is a very sad situation.

On March 29 I called the Colorado Springs Gazette to cancel my subscription due to the cost going up
On March 29 I called the Colorado Springs Gazette to cancel my subscription due to the cost going up. I spoke with Michael operator #3877. He agreed to match the current price I have been paying to receive the newspaper for a 7 day/week subscription at approximately $201 a year. He told me had to get his manager to approve the lower price and put me on hold. He came back from hold and said he had his manager's approval and I would receive the paper for the next year at the same price. I asked to get conformation of the rate via e-mail and he told me I could write down his name and operator number as the calls are recorded, which I did. The following day i received a voice message from Michael stating "they" would not approve the lower rate and to call back if I wanted to cancel. He also stated my subscription was paid thru May 11. When I called to cancel I was told that the paper would stop being delivered on April 29 by a different operator. I canceled the paper.

I have called the Gazette for the last seven straight weeks because the newspaper was not delivered at all or has been very late I don't believe
I have called the Gazette for the last seven straight weeks because the newspaper was not delivered at all or has been very late I don't believe that the Gazette is taking my newspaper deliveries seriously. I have asked for a refund several times Because my newspaper has been missing several times and late every time for the last 7 straight weeks. Customer Service state that no refunds are allowed. I was told by several customer service personnel that the newspaper is supposed to be delivered by 6 AM on weekdays and 7 AM on week ends. Today is Thanksgiving it is 9:20 AM and still no newspaper again for the umpteenth time. Customer service has also told me that this issue has been escalated to management every time for the last seven straight weeks as well. I don't believe this and they have lost my trust in their business. How many times do I have to call In to report missing and late deliveries? I have called in 7 straight times And I also asked for a manager to call me back. I have never received a call back. This is so frustrating and irritating it makes me sick that a business can stay in business and not do as they say and yet take my money without a refund.

In December the Gazette ran a special promotion that offered their electronic subscription for 1 year for $99. I signed up for 1 year and expected I would renew next December. On 11/17 my debit card was charged $179.88. No notice from the gazette about the charge or no receipt sent. I called the gazette to find out why this happened. They told me they put out 2 special editions a year electronically and they reduced my subscription accordingly. They never informed me of this or gave me the option to opt out. The rep told me the notice was in section A under subscriptions services. I told the rep changing the terms of our contract without notice or my written consent was fraud. I requested to cancel my subscription effective 11/16 and refund the $179 charge to my debit card. The rep Nancy refused to cancel my subscription until 11/17. She told me that she would cancel the subscription however the charge would stand because I did not give them 3 day notice that I intended to cancel the subscription. This is very deceptive of the gazette. For an institution that has served Colorado Springs for many many years this is appalling how they treat their customers. I would not expect this type of policy from an organization that has been in business for so long. I am also surprised to see they have an A+ rating with such a deceitful policy. It is not transparent.

On 9/23 my credit card was charged $179.88. No notice from the gazette about the charge or no receipt sent. I called the gazette to find out why this happened. They told me they put out 4 special editions a year electronically and they reduced my subscription accordingly. They never informed me of this or gave me the option to opt out. The rep told me the notice was in section A under subscriptions services. I told the rep I never read the notice and I only read articles that interest me. I requested since I was not given an opt out or informed by email that they should reinstate my subscription end date to December and refund the $179 charge to my credit card. The rep was not accomodating and finally she talked with her supervisor and it was denied. I then told her to cancel my subscription and refund my $179. I received a letter in the mail late last year stating I would be charged for 6 months of newspaper deliveries
I received a letter in the mail late last year stating I would be charged for 6 months of newspaper deliveries. I called and tried to cancel the newspaper subscription but was told they don't issue refunds. I was then offered to change my newspaper delivery service to just online. I said no because I already paid for the newspaper delivery why not get what I paid for. I asked to then cancel my next subscription. I was told they couldn't cancel it for the next time because it was too far away- only 6 months away. So I said fine I will call when it gets closer to renew. I asked when that would be and I was told June. Well I checked my credit card statement and I was charged in May for another 6 months. I called and asked again for it to be refunded because I was told I wouldn't be charged until June. I was told again no refunds. However, this time I was told they could put in a cancellation order after the 6 months was up. I asked how was that possibly? When I asked to cancel it back in December I was told no because they couldn't put it in my account because it was too soon. Never got anywhere with the customer rep I talked to. She asked if I would like a supervisor to pull my call and I said yes. Again, if I was told June honor June. She even saw in my account notes I was told June. I have yet to hear from a supervisor, Why was I told in December they couldn't cancel my account 6 months out because it was too soon, but another rep could in May could cancel my next charge in November 6 months out. I would like my money refunded for the May charge. I also never received a notification that I would be charged sooner than I was previously told.
