Hello, I had subscribed for 3-month plan on January the 6th and I cancelled it on March the 6th and I no longer used its services after March 6 th But I still got a bill on April the 6th. I am extremely disappointed as I didn't even use the facilities and I was still charged. I would really appreciate it if you could refund the 3-month pay back to my bank account. Thanks. I downloaded this app as it was recommended to me by my school and friends but I am highly disappointed.

I thought I was paying only for a month (11 dollars) and got charged for a whole year (139 dollars).
I am so sad. I am a student and every dollar is important for me. I like the service itself and would like to use it, just not like this. No authorization, no anything. I contacted my bank, but they told the money is already gone. I think its kinda scam.

false advertising and refund needed
On 29/03/2019, I signed up for Grammarly thinking that is was for $11.99 monthly charges, but I was charged $127.90, so the services were discontinued & the Grammarly software was promptly removed from my laptop.
I felt misled and violated by Grammarly because it was advertised that there would be monthly charges and NOT a whole year charge in advance. Whenever I made the purchase, I didn't receive a confirmation of the payment, NOR did I get a receipt. So, after a few hours had passed I went to my Chase account and saw that a WHOPPING $127.90 was deducted from my account I immediately notified FNB about my authorization for $11.99 monthly charge, and NOT the $127.90.
I have been trying to contact the Grammarly customer support in regards to getting a refund but I have not gotten a response.
Please can some one help me

The benefits of Grammarly are extremely low. If you do not want to pay (I did not) it is not better than word. It is terrible for me, as I rarely make grammatical errors (I hate grammatical errors). I found it difficult to delete as well. It would make it very helpful if there were more benefits for the free version (I am a student in year 8) and it were easier to delete.

I thought I'm going to pay 11 USD for a month, when I've checked my email I've seen from pay pal that I've been charged 139.92USD which is not fair. I have requested a refund as I haven't had the chance to use it. I managed to cancel my subscribe after I realised what happened. I feel like Grammarly violated my rights. Also, when I have chosen the premium I was sure I want it for a month trial which I thought it is 11USD. It is not fair to be tricked like that!
grammarly deceiving revolving yearly subscription
I have experience a similar situation as many subscribers of Grammarly. I wasnt aware I was making a gross mistake by paying my initial subscription with my PayPal account. Again as many others mentioned in their complaint post . Not once we received an alert email from Grammarly I haven't heard or received any notification from PayPal either letting me know I was re subscribed and re charged for another year. I requested my bank to stop payment to PayPal who im the past gave my 139.95 dollars to Grammarly. I received yesterday PayPay collectors agency asking payment for Grammarly service which I did not agree to use. As many others I tried calling Grammarly but access though phone calls is futile.
I cancelled my subscription via web.
However, the charge was not removed.
I dont need a collector officer after me due to Grammarly deceiving practices.

I expected to be charged $11.99 monthly, instead was charged for the whole year once. I don't remember that I was made aware of this one time payment by the company and with only one click the by bank account was short $140. There wasn't at least I agree to terms and conditions page or are you sure you want this annual plan, this is what it means. I have contacted their customer service however they're not answering to my emails. I don't know what to do. Please help me, I don't want to be charged for something I wasn't aware of, it feels like I was scammed and robbed of my money. This is not how I imagined my experience with Grammarly.

I was on a plan for $11.66 a month on a monthly charge. I was just charged $139.95 for a years subscription. I do not remember ever agreeing to this. Grammarly is a hard company to get in touch with to fix any of these billing issues. I tried multiple time to get in touch to cancel this less than 5 minutes after I was charged. I have sent 3 messages to Grammarly to inform them of my cancellation and to get my money refunded. The inquiries keep coming up as closed with no correspondence.

I work twice a week 8 hours max live in a small household and I really thought it was 11.99 not a full 139$ It really breaks my heart because I also thought it was a trial I am not going to need this for a year. Maybe one more month but I feel as if it won't be fixed I am also a broke person and I really want to get my refund I just realized this the next minute and Emailed them as soon as I noticed it. Subscription then got charged 139.95 if you are a college student don't get this! I'm currently trying to get a refund but can't even contact them. The 1(800) number just tells you to go to there website no matter what you choose. I told my friends and fellow college student to get this program and now I'm frantically telling them not to.
fraudulent charges and fraudulent website
I have tried to cancel my Grammarly account for a couple of months via the website and calling the company. The company does not have live personel to answer calls and the only way to contact them is to "submit a request" on the website. I have tried numerous times and on different browsers, but can never get to the "submit a request" online form to appear, nor does the website sinc up with their "instructions" on how to cancel the account. I want a credit to my credut card for the Jan. 8, 2019 charge in the amount of $59.95 and I want to cancel the subscription. I am probably going to have to file a fraud charge to my credit card too, according to my credit card company. I have never experienced such a situation where I cannot make contact with a company.

The service sucks. The website sucks. I am just not able to reach customer support. Signing in using gmail and it keeps bringing me back to the log in page! I have cancelled my premium subscription and need my money back. They took a years money and now it seems they wont return it although i am cancelling within a few days. I signed up for a Grammarly quarterly subscription a few months back and on Thursday, Dec . 13, I tried to cancel my subscription on my cellphone but could not find any place on the website. I did my best to contact customer service but since I signed up with my Google account instead of email address/password, I was constantly redirected back to the login page. I finally figured out how to contact customer service as a guest on Friday, Dec. 14, but my credit card has already been charged $59.95 for a service that I tried to cancel. I think Grammarly makes it difficult for customers to contact customer service and even though I did not preapprove or authorize a payment at PayPal, my account was charged nonetheless. Yes, they'll never stop charging you. Even if you cancel, the charges keep coming in. If you do cancel, it soon becomes active again, and here come more charges. It's a scam! Don't give them your account or card info!
I want my money back
On 12/05/18 I signed up for Grammarly premium. At the time of purchase I was under the impression that I would be paying $11.99 monthly because thats what it said when I was viewing the payment options. Only a few minutes after making the purchase, I checked my bank account to make sure that I was only charged $11.99, but instead I saw a WHOPPING amount of $139.95. I went back to my email to view my receipt and only then was I finally notified that it was a one time payment for the ENTIRE year! I feel violated and disgusted with Grammarly as they basically trick people out of their money. I did NOT authorize the $139.95. I immediately canceled my subscription in hopes to receive a full refund because I will no longer use or support Grammarly. I've contacted them 3 times and I have not been helped with ANYTHING! Incredibly poor customer service. I do not recommend this site to anybody. Grammarly has left me completely broke for the month.

Grammarly Charge US$13X in my credit card account after the upgraded service end on 28Nov2018.
I did not receive any email for remind that the fee will be charge. And I did not receive any email after the account renewal and did not receive any email after the fee had been charged.

When I bought a month Grammarly I wasn't aware it was a subscription. It appeared to be a one off payment. However a month a latter I'm being charged. Like the previous comment I didn't receive any invoice or receipt a good thing I was altered by my bank. I trying to get in touch with Grammarly for a refund an I haven't head anything yet. It just seem very suspicious that they don't advertise this clearly or inform you they have deducted monies from you.

The company automatically charged me for renewal close to 60$ on Dec1 /2018, which I didn't ask for. My Grammarly Email is [protected]@gmail.com. Before the company charged for renewal, they didn't send me any reminder. If I haven't check my bank account yesterday, I believe they will charge my account again and again. I am asking for a refund but this company didn't reply.
